The glossy MOBA game Paragon turns one year old and is celebrating this anniversary with a bunch of goodies. Every player will receive at least one skin as a gift and a new heroine will be added with update v38.3.
Paragon launched on March 18, 2016, in early access and since then, a lot has happened in the glossy MOBA powered by the Unreal Engine 4. For example, a complete overhaul of the gameplay perceived as too sluggish with the Monolith update at the end of 2016, or the announcement to shake up the card system significantly in 2017. Now, Paragon has been available for one year and the developers want to celebrate this anniversary with you!
Paragon Anniversary – Skins for Everyone!
To celebrate the first anniversary, the developers from Epic are gifting you one skin from the following “Treasure Chest Skins” list. Founders will actually receive two of them!

- Monarch Dekker
- Monarch Sparrow
- Monarch Murdock
- Midnight Muriel
- Cobalt Steel
- Replacement for double skins – 500 coins
Additionally, to celebrate the birthday, there will be double XP for a week, and the “Everything Bundle” is reduced by 50%, the “Hero Bundle” by 33%, and 10 Treasure Chest Keys by 20% in the shop.
Paragon Update v38.3 – New Heroine Yin and Banners
Along with the anniversary, update v38.3 will roll out to the servers. The highlight: The new heroine Yin, a whip-swinging carry who can even reflect projectiles with her laser whip. Moreover, she can extend her range, slow down opponents, pull them towards her, and then deal significant damage.
If you achieve kills with Yin or any other hero, update v38.3 will allow you to place banners at the location of the kill. These banners can be purchased in the shop for testing purposes. Each day in the next two weeks, there will be a new banner for the developers to see which ones resonate best with you.
New Maps and Rewards
Also cool: There are more chests! These chests come in bronze, silver, gold, and diamond colors. You will receive them whenever you would receive a random reward (for example, when leveling up). All your tributes will be converted into an appropriate chest, and victory chests will transform into silver chests. Daily logins will also be rewarded; the more consecutively you log in, the more valuable the rewards become.
As a preview of the extensive changes to the card system, update v38.3 will introduce new maps as well as revisions of many old maps. The aim is to enhance previously less popular maps.
