The streamer group “OnlyFangs” has strongly promoted World of Warcraft on Twitch throughout the duration of the project. The German Twitch streamer Papaplatte now wants to do the same and is planning a project for 2026.
What kind of project is this? The American streamer guild “OnlyFangs” dominated Twitch for weeks with their project. They played World of Warcraft in hardcore mode together in a guild. Anyone whose character died lost it accordingly and was out for the time being.
What made the project so interesting were not only the difficult challenges that could end in the death of one’s own character at any moment, but also the personal stories and dramas that unfolded during the project.
Kevin “Papaplatte” Teller has exactly that in mind for the German Twitch scene now. He is planning a German-speaking version of the WoW Hardcore Guild for 2026 and has already approached the first players. Among others, HandofBlood is supposed to be involved, who has already stated what will happen.

How does HandofBlood react to the invitation? In a clip from a stream by HandofBlood, you can see the streamer’s reaction on YouTube. He seems little enthusiastic about the invitation. While he acknowledges that the Americans’ project went well on Twitch, he already sees problems with the German copy.
A major problem is the participants. According to HandofBlood, they would never manage to raid the “Zul’Gurub” raid in WoW Hardcore. He expresses it very clearly: “That’s just so Delulu again.” He further refers to the streamers’ team in the description of the clip with the words: “That’s going to be a wrecking crew in WoW Hardcore.”
Therefore, the streamer clearly sets demands to Papaplatte. HandofBlood wants to participate only if he can be both raid leader and guild master.
I will be damned if I play WoW Hardcore with these monkeys and subordinate myself to some chaotic crew. Especially with Metshi [Metashi12] in the lineup.

What other problems does HandofBlood see? The Twitch streamer also has a problem with the format that Papaplatte is proposing. The WoW event is supposed to take place in February. However, this is also the currently estimated time when the “The Burning Crusade” add-on for World of Warcraft Classic is set to launch.
HandofBlood considers the timing to be unwise. He says: “Probably the bro doesn’t even know that the entire WoW Classic community will give a damn about Hardcore, but everyone will be playing TBC.”
Even though HandofBlood has been highly critical of the project for months before the start, the guild of German streamers in WoW could become a great success. Joint long-term projects, especially those sprinkled with role-playing aspects like in the model “OnlyFangs,” can develop a great dynamic.
However, whether the project will actually happen and who will ultimately participate alongside Papaplatte, HandofBlood, and Metashi12 is still unknown.
