What is wheat used for? If you want to further expand your base, you need to establish a wheat field. However, you need wheat seeds for that.
Additionally, you need wheat for cakes, which you in turn need for the breeding of Pals.
How to get wheat seeds: If you want to find wheat seeds, you need to catch or kill certain Pals that drop wheat seeds. All types and their strengths and weaknesses can be found directly on MeinMMO.

Finding wheat and establishing a wheat field
Which Pals drop wheat seeds? Currently, there are several Pals that can provide you with wheat seeds:
- Dinossum can already be found in the starting area, but has a fairly high level. It is easiest if you go into battle with friends. Furthermore, Dinossum usually travels alone, which could make “farming” take longer.
- Flopie can be found in an area near the center of the map. Here, however, you need to walk quite a distance from the starting zone and cross several other zones. It’s best to use the fast travel system here.
- Robinquill can be found in the same area as Flopie, in the middle of the map.
- Bristla can also be found in the middle of the map, in the northwest. The Pal looks like a green plant with red hair.
- Cinnamoth can be found in the same area as Bristla and looks like an oversized moth.
- A traveling merchant located in the western area of your starting point also sells wheat seeds. The merchant is located in a village, southwest of the Rayne Tower. Here you need to pay 100 gold coins per wheat seed. There is also a fast travel point at the merchant.
If you haven’t progressed very far yet, we would recommend catching the Pals rather than killing them. Because catching Pals is one of many ways to level up quickly in Palworld.
What is needed for the wheat farm? To build a wheat farm, you need to reach at least level 15 and can then unlock the technology. After that, you will need the following resources for construction:
- 3 wheat seeds
- 35 wood
- 35 stones
Stones and wood can be found in the wild, but you can also establish a quarry and a lumberjack. Once you have built the wheat field, the new field works just like a berry field. You need the appropriate Pals to farm the field, or you need to tend it manually: planting, watering, farming, and transporting.
