As with most raw materials in Palworld, the game does not tell you where to find sulfur. Many players therefore scour the map for hours, hoping to stumble upon the resource.

Farming sulfur – Locations
Where do you find sulfur? There are several places where you can find more sulfur than in others. For example, the desert biome is well suited for mining sulfur. This area is located in the northern part of the map. Here you will find plenty of sulfur along with coal, pal-oil, and some other resources.
Later in the game, you will enter the volcano biome. There is Mount Obsidian. Here you can find a larger sulfur deposit behind a tower near the volcano. Additionally, there is a fast travel point there, making it easier to transport the resource back to your base. You can find some tips for your first base here.

How to mine sulfur? Sulfur can be found in sulfur veins. This means you need a pickaxe to mine the raw material. You can recognize the places where you can mine sulfur by a large green rock.
Transporting sulfur
How to transport sulfur: Easy transport is not insignificant because sulfur is quite a heavy resource. So either you travel back and forth multiple times between your base and the sulfur location, or you set up a pal box nearby, which allows for fast travel.
In combination with two pieces of charcoal and sulfur, you can then produce the valuable gunpowder.
