“Tides of Terraria” is the next major content update for Palworld. The name already suggests it: You can expect a crossover with one of the best and most popular games on Steam.
What is known about the update? “Tides of Terraria” is set to release on June 25, 2025 for Palworld and create a bridge to the world of Terraria. While the exact contents of the content package are still to be revealed, it is already clear that you will be able to catch, train, work with, and battle monsters from Terraria – just like your regular Pals.
The developers promise a big update that aims to appeal to fans of both games. In addition to crossover content, further innovations are expected, such as fresh Pals and islands. An animated trailer prepares you for “Tides of Terraria”:

What do I need to know about Terraria? While Palworld has already garnered a strong 94 percent positive ratings on Steam, the old-school sandbox adventure from Re-Logic is even better rated on Steam, with 97 percent positive ratings (from 1.125 million total reviews). No other game can boast anything comparable on Valve’s platform.
Terraria focuses on maximum freedom and randomly generated worlds that you can explore by digging, fighting, and building. You can not only build simple houses but also magnificent castles. It can be experienced either in single-player or multiplayer. And all of this is so much fun that we already wrote years ago: This is probably the smartest way to invest €10 in gaming.
How does the community react to the announcement? In November 2024 many fans of Terraria were against the crossover. They feared that it could further delay planned innovations for their game.
