Update 0.6.0 for Palworld is now live. The highly anticipated Terraria update is finally in the game. What else is included, you can read here.
What are the main new features? The update named “Tides of Terraria” brings you the popular sandbox adventure Terraria into the world of Palworld. Not only does it introduce a new dungeon that fits this theme, but you can also acquire 6 new weapons and 7 new armor pieces styled after Terraria. With the “Moon Lord,” the game receives a new raid boss.
Of course, with such a major update come new Pals and new buildings that you can construct. Additionally, you can explore three new islands: a tropical island, an iceberg island, and a shipwreck island.
Another highlight is that you can now fish and catch new Pals while doing so. All you need to do is craft a fishing rod and the appropriate bait. What else you’ll find in this extensive update is detailed in the full patch notes.

・Terraria Dungeon
⤷ A unique dungeon with enemies from Terraria has been added! Collect materials in the dungeon to craft equipment from the world of Terraria.

⤷ Craft a fishing rod and bait to catch new Pals! To fish, cast your line into the water where you can see fish shadows.
・Recovery System
⤷ Ride on water Pals and use the fishing rod to recover supplies at sea! Gather new ores from the seafloor to strengthen your weapons.
・New Islands
⤷ Three new types of islands have been added to the world: tropical islands, iceberg islands, and shipwreck islands! Discover new Pals living on each of these islands!
・Mission System
⤷ You can now find and accept missions on the Palpagos Islands. Help the islanders and receive rewards.
・Zoe’s Special Mission
⤷ Complete missions for Zoe to gain her trust and recruit her as an ally.
・Trust Mechanic for Pals
⤷ The more time you spend with a Pal, the more trust you’ll build – thus increasing their stats! The weaker a Pal’s base stats, the greater the trust gain. Even weak Pals can shine through this.
・Rest with your Pals
⤷ After a hectic day of farming and boss battles, you can rest together!
・Treasure Maps
⤷ Use treasure maps to find hidden treasures and obtain valuable items.
・Enemy Bases
⤷ Enemy factions now also build bases – just like players! They are highly alert and defend them with their lives. If you manage to raid them, you’ll receive building plans belonging to that faction.
・Overhaul of Settlements
⤷ The settlements have been expanded and now feel livelier! There are also many new mission NPCs to discover.
・Player Level Cap Increased: 60 → 65

▼ Mechanic Changes
- Durability for equipment has been enabled in the settings.
- If a cooling Pal is assigned to the flea market, the spoilage of food slows down.
- Lyleen’s ability “Rich Blessing” now heals all allies in range.
▼ Balance Changes
- Some aggressive enemies are now friendly.
- Pal abilities recharge even in unsummoned state.
- Speed & stamina of rideable Pals adjusted (especially improved for slow Pals).
- Bounty hunter lineup expanded.
- NPC rewards in the mission system revised.
→ Conversation logs with all NPCs have been reset, allowing all rewards to be obtained again. - Pal condensation is considered endgame – therefore, the strength of Axel, Marcus, and Victor has been reduced on normal difficulty.
- The strength of some active skills (e.g., Pal Blast) has been increased.
- Higher drop rate for books to improve work skills from attribute chests.
