Today, on January 5th, the Hi-rez EXPO 2017 starts and with it the largest eSports event that Paladins has ever held: The HRX Invitational. Paladins is a promising eSports title. The winner of the HRX Invitational receives a prize of 150,000 dollars.
Update (January 6th): The winning teams have been added after the first matches, further down in the post. The livestream has been replaced with a video of the match District 69 vs Team QG.
Paladins Teams:
These four teams will compete against each other in the first group phase.
- District 69 (Europe) – So far, District 69 has won every major eSports event of Paladins. In the previous ESL tournaments, they are also undefeated.
- Team QG (China) – Team QG was originally a League of Legends team. Team QG qualified for the Hi-Rez Expo with a 2-0 against AG.
- Black Dragons (Brazil) – Black Dragons will represent Brazil and plays with Pings, Flamzito, Butter, Skullest, Bzka, and CherryGums.
- Matchpoint (US) Matchpoint finished in third place at Dreamhack Summer 2016.

The winners of the first group phase of the Paladins tournament are confirmed. Some matches were quite clear while others were still pretty back and forth.
