SMITE, Paladins, and Hand of the Gods are thriving – major updates are coming for all games!
The developer HiRez Studios currently has three hot irons in the fire, with which they want to conquer or have already conquered the gaming market.
- SMITE – The godly MOBA from a third-person perspective
- Paladins – The hero shooter that is regarded as the “free variant of Overwatch”
- Hand of the Gods – A tactical, turn-based strategy card game in the SMITE universe
And all three games are thriving, so there are some announcements to make for each of the games.
SMITE is overhauling many systems
In the MOBA SMITE, the patch named “Project Olympus” is on the horizon, aimed at fixing many small and larger issues in the game. A better interface display on consoles, a graphical revision of the victory map, and a new leveling system that can also promote players. There are also comfort features for newcomers, such as improved tutorial videos to help them navigate the game easier.
Paladins gets a new support character and a cinematic trailer
In the hero shooter Paladins, Jenos is about to jump into the battlefields. Jenos will be a new support character.
Furthermore, Paladins is getting a new cinematic trailer.
Hand of the Gods is now in open beta
The strategy game Hand of the Gods (previously “SMITE Tactics”) celebrated its official launch into open beta two days ago (12.07.2017). If you wish, you can now download and try the game for free. The developers have implemented a lot of feedback from the closed beta and refined the animations, making the game significantly more challenging and appealing than in our first impression.
Are you playing one of these HiRez games? Or are the games and genres rather cold to you?
