In Patch OB 48 a new support comes to Paladins (PC, PS4, Xbox One). Seris is the Oracle of Hell and comes with plenty of healing and “Crowd-Control.”
Seris is the Oracle of Hell and despite her dark appearance is one of the supports. She is a healer with strong “Crowd-Control” and deals direct damage. Seris is wrapped in a cloak that covers half of her face.
She is a type of soul mage who can both destroy and heal souls. Seris is also able to traverse realities and bend them.

Seris: Overview of Abilities – Healing, Destroying, and Bending Realities
Seris does not use physical weapons but works with dark magic. With her right hand, she fires magical, floating projectiles. With her left hand, Seris holds a lantern in which she presumably collects souls.
- With her ability “Soul Sphere,” Seris distributes damage. The Soul Sphere can stick to opponents up to 4 times. Using the “Soul Rift” ability destroys the soul charges. This deals damage to the affected opponents and heals Seris herself.
- With “Soul Renewal,” Seris heals the soul of an ally. She establishes a connection with a team member and massively heals them. Seris can do this from a long distance as well.
- Similar to Androxus, Seris can traverse between realities. “Shadow Travel” allows her to dive into another reality. Seris is enveloped in a fog that hides her from enemies and makes her immune to harmful effects. For a few seconds, Seris cannot be stunned or crippled.
- Seris’ ultimate ability “Convergence” creates a rift in reality. All enemies are drawn in by this rift and gather at one point. Convergence does not deal damage but causes massive “Crowd-Control.” This ultimate is perfect for initiating the battle.

Seris Skills – Details of Her Abilities
- LMB – Soul Sphere: Fire a stream of magical projectiles with your right hand that distributes 210 damage every 0.3 seconds . Your projectiles pass through enemies and attach a soul charge with each hit. They stack up to 4 times.
- RMB – Soul Renewal: Heal the soul of an ally. Restore 1000 health points every 2 seconds.
- Q – Soul Rift: Blow up all active soul charges. Deal 100 damage to affected opponents for each orb. Each exploded soul charge heals you for 15% of your maximum health.
- F – Shadow Travel: Enter another reality for 5 seconds. While this ability is active, you are invisible and immune to all damaging effects.
- Ultimate – Convergence: Throw your souls onto the battlefield. After a delay, a rift in reality will form that pulls in enemies.

Leya says: Seris could quickly become my favorite support! I think her entire design is extremely cool. I like the idea of having a healing support with such a dark aura. Often, healing supports are bright and friendly figures.
The animations of Seris are also very detailed and could be the most beautiful in the entire game so far. The fog-like projectiles visibly float and give the feeling that you are dealing with supernatural powers. The graphic designers have done an excellent job.
Seris’ healing of a single ally is the strongest in Paladins, which makes her an excellent supporter. Her “Crowd-Control” effects are extremely strong. If your ultimate is well coordinated, it can lead to a complete team wipe. I’m thinking especially of Bomb King, Evie, or Drogoz.
Seris’ deck offers plenty of room for great playstyle adaptations. I find it quite interesting to choose to give her a cripple effect. Choosing to enhance either your healing or that of the team also leaves room for flexible team combinations.
I am really curious and can hardly wait to test Seris.
Hi-Rez seems to be keeping its promise to release a new champion approximately every 3 weeks.
