The latest update OB41 for Paladins is live. The patch expands the team shooter with the new map “Stone Keep” and some new skins. We present the highlights from the patch notes.
Studio Hi-Rez has released the patch OB41 for Paladins for download. The update is live since today and is 1.3 GB in size.
- The patch brings new skins for Genie Ying and Code-Green Victor.
- New weapons and emotes for the champions are coming.
- The item “Cauterize” has been adjusted and now has a duration of 1.5 seconds instead of 2. If you have multiple “Cauterize,” they will no longer stack. Many players have found “Cauterize” to be too strong so far.
- The probably most important thing: A new map comes to Paladins, the fairy-tale Stone Keep.

Paladins Update – What has been adjusted in patch OB41
Hi-Rez removes the “Epic and Legendary Founders Pack” from the game. Instead, Daily and Weekly Quests are introduced. With those, you can earn bonus gold by taking on challenges like “First Win of the Day” in the Daily Quest. In the Weekly Quests, you have to complete more specific tasks like playing 2 games as a Flanker. The bonus to be gained for this is also higher.
Further adjustments: Players will no longer be put into the “Combat” mode by using sprays. And the animations of “Evie Soar”, “Getting Pulled,” and “Androxus Ult” should no longer get stuck with the patch.
Siege Mode
In the “Siege” mode, your team now receives 300 Credits when you capture an objective. If you successfully defend a “Payload Push”, there are no credits anymore.
Payload Mode
You now start with 1000 Credits, it was previously 400. The credits have increased from 1 to 2 per second.
Supports
For supporters, there has been a major change that should have a significant impact on the game and the choice of role. As a Support, your ultimates are charged by healing your team with OB41.
Champions
These champs receive an adjustment through OB41:
- Barik – Increased health bar
- Fernando – Fixed mvp pose
- Grohk – Increased healing
- Sha Lin – Fixed “Impaler Arrow”
- Skye – Increased ammunition “Wrist Crossbow”
- Tyra – Increased health bar
- Viktor – Fixed mvp pose
- Ying – Fixed Convention 2017 Skin
New Map: Stone Keep
You can only play Stone Keep in Siege mode. In the middle of the map, there is a capture point and the teams’ bases are at opposite ends. In Stone Keep, you will find “Stealth Grass”, which makes you invisible to enemies when entering. Stone Keep resembles a fairy-tale castle and is designed in a fantasy style.
