Hi-Rez presented the new Paladins patch OB 46. The new champion Lex is coming into the game and there will also be a new PvE challenge. The patch may come as early as tomorrow. We have the highlights.
Hi-Rez recently introduced patch Open Beta 46. A new champion enters the field: Lex, the Hand of Justice. There is also a new PvE challenge that you can do in coop. With OB 46, you’ll be able to destroy cards. There is also a buff for Inara and a nerf for Grohk.
Paladins Patch OB46 brings Lex, a new flanker
A new patch, a new champ. Lex takes the field and maintains law and order in Paladins with his double magnums. He is known as “The Hand of Justice” and stands for the law.
Lex belongs to the flanker class and has a skill that makes him a bounty hunter. The ability is called “Retribution” and randomly selects an opposing champion as a target. If you eliminate the target with Lex, you will receive extra credits. The higher the “kill streak” of the opposing champion, the greater the credit reward for Lex. There hasn’t been a bounty feature in Paladins before.

New PvE Challenge “Minefield”, Coop against Kinessa bots
The new PvE challenge turns the map “Primal Court” into a real minefield. Here you will team up with your team against 5 enhanced Kinessa bots in coop. The Kinessas spread their “Throttle Mines” everywhere, dealing deadly damage. Move carefully, the mines can lurk around every corner.
PvE Challenge: Win crystals weekly
Destroy cards for essence
In the future, players will be allowed to destroy cards that they already own. For destroying the cards, you will receive essence. Beware: If you already have a deck that contained the destroyed card, the deck will be deleted!
Fernando becomes a transformer! “FN-01 Helios” skin
Fernando receives a legendary skin: FN-01 Helios. You can get the skin from the “Helios Force” box.
Champion adjustments: Inara receives a buff, Grohk a nerf
With OB 46, some champions receive adjustments. Players complained right after Inara’s release that she was too weak. Grohk’s damage was considered way too high for a support. This will be adjusted.
Inara Buff
- Inara’s health has been increased from 4400 to 4500
- Earthshatter: The cooldown has been reduced from 12 seconds to 10 seconds.
- Seismic Strike: The damage has been increased from 200 to 500.
Grohk Nerf
- Lightning Rod: Damage has been reduced from 82 damage to 75 damage per hit.
