The new patch OB 45 is now live in Paladins. From today on, you can play the new champ Inara. Here are the patch notes and highlights of Paladins OB 45.
Patch OB 45 is now live and brings us Inara, the Guardian of the Stones. She is the first woman on the front line and a stone bender. Some champions have been adjusted, including Maeve and Torvald who have been hit with the nerf hammer. Additionally, there is a new PvE challenge “Midlife Crisis”.
Paladins OB 45 – Inara “The Guardian of the Stones” enters the field
Inara is large, has distinctive features, and takes on the role of a robust protector for her team. She is barely mobile and has no traits or cards that enhance her mobility. Inara is grounded and summons stone walls that block enemies and stone obelisks that slow them down. With her ultimate ability “Seismic Strike”, Inara can even penetrate shields with a spear throw, stunning all enemies within a radius of 40 units.

New Skins: Baroness Tyra and Exalted Androxus
Tyra receives her first rare skin. “Baroness Tyra” is only obtainable in the Colossal Chest and consists of a complete set. “Exalted Androxus” is available for purchase in the shop as a complete set.

Coop – New PvE Quest “Midlife Crisis”
There is a new PvE quest called “Midlife Crisis”. Here you and your team face enhanced bots in a 5vs5 survival match and can win free crystals. If the health of the bots falls below 50%, they activate their ultimate abilities permanently until they are killed.
The bot team consists of:
- Tyra
- Buck
- Makoa
- Maeve
- Sha Lin
Champion Adjustments – Nerfs for Maeve and Torvald
In recent weeks, players have frequently complained that Maeve and Torvald are too strong. Maeve has been significantly adjusted with patch OB 45, and Torvald’s shields have been reduced.
Maeve Adjustments
- Nine Lives: Maeve will no longer be healed by default.
- Jumping: Damage reduced from 600 to 500, range reduced from 70 to 50, bug fix – ability can no longer be activated twice
- Stalk: Movement speed reduced from 80% to 65%, cooldown increased from 9s to 12s.
- Dodge: In addition to removing all debuffs, Nine Lives now also heals 500 HP.
Torvald Adjustment
- HP of shield reduced from 6000 to 5000.
Finally, a small note: Colossal Chests are 33% cheaper until Sunday (March 12).
