The group stages are over and today, January 7th, 4 teams will head to the semifinals of the HRX Invitational. There, they will fight for a prize pool of 150,000 dollars at the Hi-rez EXPO 2017. Paladins is a promising eSports title.

Esports Burrito and District 69 particularly stood out in the group stages and are strong contenders for the victory. However, they still have to prove themselves today, January 7th, in the semifinals against Matchpoint and Abyss. These two teams also performed brilliantly in the group stages.
These teams are competing in the Paladins HRX Invitational semifinals
These four teams have made it to the semifinals and will continue to compete for the title and the prize pool of 150,000 dollars.
- Abyss (Australia) – Abyss represents Australia and has also formed a team for League of Legends. They made it to the semifinals with a 2-1 record.
- Burrito Esports (Europe) – Burrito Esports is an organization that aims to change the world one burrito at a time. Burrito Esports enters the semifinals undefeated.
- District 69 (Europe) – So far, District 69 has won every major eSports event of Paladins. In the previous ESL tournaments, they remain undefeated as well. They continue to be consistent winners throughout the group stage of the HRX Invitational 2017, advancing to the semifinals with a 3-0 record.
- Matchpoint (US) Matchpoint achieved third place in Dreamhack Summer 2016. Will they be able to secure first place this year?

These two teams from the Paladins HRX Invitational have secured a spot in the finals: District 69 vs Esports Burrito. District 69 had some very exciting moments where they could have lost their spot in the finals. Esports Burrito overwhelmed their opponents and secured their place in the finals with a 4-0.
