The Hi-Rez Studios today released the first official trailer for their upcoming team shooter Paladins: Champions of the Realm. In addition to new gameplay footage, the developers share their thoughts and chat a bit about the setting and deck system.
There hasn’t been much video footage of the Overwatch competitor Paladins: Champions of the Realm yet, which the Hi-Rez staff also noticed, leading them to release their first trailer. In the 2-minute video, the lead designer and senior producer reveal what Paladins is all about and what they want to achieve with the fantasy setting. The developers also discuss the specifics of the deck system. With collectible cards, Paladins gains a unique quality, making each hero feel a bit different based on the card drawn.
