The Paladins patch for Open Beta 42 features a video from Hi-Rez, primarily showcasing the new champion Torvald, a frontline character.

Additional highlights in the patch:
- the weekly PvE event “Tank it to the limit.”
- The level cap has been increased to 999.
- Viktor receives the “Code Green” skin for a toy soldier outfit,
- Pip can enjoy a special blaster for the Chinese New Year.
