Is there currently an over-weapon in Warzone 2? No.
What are the best Warzone weapons? There are always outliers in some weapon classes. But generally, assault rifles are considered the best weapons in Warzone, along with a mobile submachine gun.
Good range paired with decent damage, plus mobility is usually fine and you are not completely helpless in close combat.
Assault rifles are supposed to take targets at medium and long range into focus and provide maximum “help” in close combat. Therefore, a submachine gun is suitable as a secondary weapon. With the little MP in hand, you run faster, are quicker in focus, and deal more damage in close combat.
If mobility is not that important to you, an LMG can also replace the assault rifle. The sluggish monsters come with plenty of ammunition in the magazine and also offer very good control in some cases.
Moreover, the lethal combination of sniper/DMR together with an MP is popular. However, with full armor, you can no longer land one-shot headshots in Warzone 2. Therefore, snipers are not considered meta weapons.
