It was originally planned for summer, but it has turned into winter or at least late autumn. The Dark Elf joins Black Desert as a new class. In just a few days, on December 8th, players in Korea can create their Dark Elf, but they can only play it a week later on December 15th. Black Desert places great importance on character creation – they want fans to be able to do that in peace.
We have a first trailer of the Dark Elf for you. When it will come to Germany is still unclear. It will probably take a while. We will first get the ocean update: Margoria. The schedule seems to be a bit messed up with Black Desert.
In the god MOBA SMITE the patch 3.23 is coming, bringing not only the goddess Nike but also a demonic skin for Anubis.
Although Nike is one of the lesser-known goddesses, she was still important for the Greek pantheon. She is the goddess of victory, and without her, it would have never been possible to defeat the Titans. No matter who wants to achieve victory in the world, whether in sports, love, or battle – without Nike’s blessing, there is no victory. And since the victor writes history, Nike’s actions resonate throughout the centuries.
In SMITE, Nike is a warrior who strengthens her team with powerful buffs, is particularly resilient, and masters solid forms of crowd control.

The passive ability To Victory! grants the entire team 3 tasks that it must complete to unlock team-wide, permanent buffs. The 3 objectives are: kill 10 gods as a team, kill 200 minions as a team, and have at least 2 allies at level 20. For each completed task, there is a buff, which becomes 3 times stronger when the remaining tasks are fulfilled. Increased power (+8/10/12%) and additional movement speed (3/5/7%).
With Rend, Nike strikes twice in a straight line onto the target, each dealing moderate damage. If an opponent is hit twice, they lose protection for 5 seconds. When Plan of Action is active, Nike strikes a third time. After 3 hits, an opponent is disarmed.
Plan of Action grants Nike passive health regeneration. Upon activation, Plan of Action increases the damage of the next ability and grants it an additional effect.
Nike’s movement ability is Valiant Leap, with which she jumps to a target point, deals moderate damage, and knocks all enemies in the vicinity into the air. With Plan of Action activated, the jump is executed much faster.
The Ultimate Sentinel of Zeus transforms Nike into an armored guardian for a few seconds and sends out a shockwave that damages enemies in the area and slows them by 30%. Additionally, Nike gains a shield equal to 40% of her maximum health for the duration of the effect. With Plan of Action active, the shield is increased to 60% of health, and the slowdown also rises to 60%.
But besides that, patch 3.23 has a lot to offer. There are numerous new skins, such as the Chilling Grasp Ah Puch, which has presumably been directly taken from a white walker from Game of Thrones. Anubis receives a tier 5 skin, the Demonic Pact Anubis, as the highlight of this year’s Odyssey. It consists of 4 different forms, each with different animations, voice packs, and of course character models. So if you’re a real fan (with a big wallet), you should secure the skin while the event is still ongoing.
A WoW player’s account has been banned. Unfortunately, it appears he doesn’t even play WoW .
It is well known that Blizzard regularly excludes cheaters, hackers, and other fraudsters from the game – but now it seems a player has come under scrutiny who hasn’t even played World of Warcraft.
On Reddit, the user TimiNax reported that he has now received a message in the Battle.net client that his account has been excluded from World of Warcraft. But what happened? Did he cheat or did something else to become unpopular? Neither – TimiNax didn’t own World of Warcraft at all. Therefore, he was all the more surprised to read this message. After all, he only uses his account for Overwatch and Hearthstone.
The solution to the riddle seems to be that TimiNax recently bought a second-hand PC and that it was banned due to its hardware ID. Blizzard may have already associated the PC with a “fraudulent” account and immediately banned the new account as a precaution. A response from Blizzard is still pending.
Update: As it turns out, there is indeed a World of Warcraft license on TimiNax’s account, but the ban has now been lifted by Blizzard. How he got hold of this account, he himself does not know. He suspects that a botter or cheater may have created an account in his name… but – hmm, perhaps a case of selective internet amnesia.
The race for the “best player” in Overwatch is most likely over. The first pro has reached a skill rating of 5000.
In Blizzard’s hero shooter Overwatch, there is always a player who is better and has a higher skill rating than yourself – with one exception. The player Koo Kyo Min, known in the game as “EVERMORE”, managed to achieve the incredible feat of reaching the maximum skill rating of 5000 just under 3 days after the start of Season 3 of Overwatch.
Overwatch: The best player in the world comes from South Korea
EVERMORE primarily plays Roadhog in Overwatch and boasts an impressive win rate. Even though he has only played 45 games since the start of the season, he has won 40 and lost just 5 – a win rate of nearly 90%!
Blizzard had announced beforehand that players would notice slight changes in Season 3, allowing more players to be placed in silver, gold, and platinum and to be “more distributed”. However, it is hard to prove if EVERMORE’s result is a result of that.
Last season, there were players who reached a skill rating of 5000, but that was due to a bug. Because if someone managed to be the worst and drop below the value of 0, their display simply jumped back to 5000.
However, EVERMORE is likely the first player in the world to have legally achieved the maximum skill cap. Will he be able to maintain it for long?
What is your skill rating in Overwatch and what goal have you set for Season 3? Or is “Ranked Play” too stressful for you, and do you prefer to play just Arcade and Quickplay? Let us know in the comments!
He presented in a video the Exotic that most players will be eager for: The Icebreaker. The Icebreaker was one of the most popular PvE Exotics in Year 1, only surpassed by the Gjallarhorn. The sniper rifle with Solar damage regenerated “on its own” special ammo and enjoyed lasting popularity – also due to the Solar damage.
The Icebreaker was considered a form of “Boss-killer” and was also used in some legendary glitches, where snipers found the most absurd positions to shoot at the boss without moving away. Now it is set to return.
How to get the new Icebreaker in Destiny?
The Icebreaker in Destiny is tied to new bounties from Zhavala. These, in turn, are related to the “Strike Scoring” system that is also new to Destiny.
Zhavala will issue bounties for which you have to do certain things in strikes: likely, Guardians need to reach certain scores and meet conditions. Completing weekly Nightfall strike loot runs has a chance to reward the Icebreaker. So, no “guaranteed reward”, but one with a certain probability.
But anyone who is often in strikes will probably receive the Icebreaker sooner or later.

No Backpack – Icebreaker cannot be reloaded, regenerates ammunition over time. In the past, one round was available every 5 seconds, which was later nerfed to “every 8 seconds”; according to the latest observations, it is now said to be “every 6 seconds”, a user on reddit claims – so it would be buffed again if that is how it goes live in Destiny.
Icebreaker: There is a chance that hit enemies will spontaneously ignite and also damage others around them.
Besides the change in ammunition regeneration, it seems that nothing else has changed at first glance in the other values and perks. The Icebreaker has, it appears, the same values and perks it has always had.
We have:
Mulligan
Snapshot/Fit Trigger/Lightweight
Field Choke/Improved Ballistics/Linear Compensator
And the values of:
Rate of Fire 19,
Impact 31,
Range 100,
Stability 15,
Reload 62,
Magazine Size 6.
In the video, you can also see the new “Siva” version of the Taniks Strike.
Mechwarrior 5 is in the works. This is supposed to be a singleplayer game from the studio behind Mechwarrior Online.
Mech fans, especially well represented in German, have reason to rejoice. At “Piranha”, the studio behind “Mechwarrior Online”, they are developing Mechwarrior 5. A “proper” Mechwarrior game, not online, not made by fans, but a singleplayer game.
It is said that in Mechwarrior 5: Mercenary you will take on the role of a young soldier and embark on a career as a mercenary. You will accept missions from the various factions, get into the Mech, and experience first-person PvE Mech battles.
Mechwarrior 5 is said to start in the year 3015 and the story is supposed to extend into the year 3049. The typical features of the series are firmly planned: Opponent Mechs can be shot at point by point, dismantled, and salvaged. It is even supposed to be possible to, for example, shoot off just one arm and take the weapon that was attached there after the battle.
When it comes to the actual gameplay, the Mech battles, the creators do not want to reinvent the wheel – they are building on “Mechwarrior Online”. However, for the surrounding aspects, Mechwarrior 5 aims to add depth, focusing more on the “management” of a mercenary career, as mentioned in a longer interview with PcGamer.

The game is set to be released in 2018. A “separate team” at Piranha is working on the title.
After 16 years, there is a new Mechwarrior
The name “Battletech” is inseparably linked with Jordan Weisman. He founded FASA in the early 80s. That is the company that was closely involved with “Battletech”. There were then miniatures, a tabletop game, novels, a real world, and finally also video games. FASA also created Shadowrun, another sci-fi universe with cult potential.
To cut a long story short: In the 2000s, everything fell apart. Microsoft bought the “video game division” of FASA but later shut down the studio.
Mechwarrior Online
Piranha Games, a Canadian studio, then bought the Mechwarrior license from Microsoft through some twists and turns after years of doing nothing with the franchise and developed “Mechwarrior Online”, an MMO that is quite niche but finds favor among the fans.
Now, therefore, Mechwarrior 5. Fans have had to wait a long time for such an announcement: Mechwarrior 4 was released in 2000. Since then, Mech fans either have to turn to “Mechwarrior Online” or they have to settle for a surrogate like “Titanfall 2.”
After Richard “Lord British” Garriott has already donated hair and blood for his RPG project Shroud of the Avatar, now follows his skull.
Last Monday, the “Fall into Winter Telethon” of the selective multiplayer RPG Shroud of the Avatar took place. During this approximately 12-hour live stream, the development team answered questions from the community and showcased scenes from parts of the online game that have not yet been released, which is currently still in Early Access. During the telethon, over $112,000 in donations was raised from fans, enabling the community to receive new decorative items for the housing system.
Lord British’s Skull!
During a community event as part of the telethon, players gathered directly in MMO mode. Joining the player-managed city Rift’s End was Lord British himself. In the tavern there, skulls of players defeated in PvP are displayed as trophies. Lord British handed the tavern owner his own (of course virtual) skull. Because in the collection was already the skull of the character of project leader Starr Long, known in the game as Darkstarr. With the now placed skull of Lord British next to it, the players wanted to restore the balance between chaos and order.
During the telethon, a curious announcement was made. Theft in the game will be punished in such a way that thieves must automatically participate in PvP after their third criminal act. Then other players are supposed to hunt them down. When asked what would happen to the NPC guards in the game world, the cryptic answer was given that due to technical reasons, it would not be possible for the guards to have behavior that would allow them to punish players. There would only be two options: either completely prevent theft or introduce the PvP solution.
What? You want consequences for decisions and actions?
However, how this will be handled in single-player and offline modes remains unclear. It was also very strange to observe that the developers seemed visibly confused when players asked how consequences for decisions and actions are managed in the game. After all, Shroud of the Avatar is advertised on the official website as a story-driven RPG with a single-player narrative structure and decisions with consequences. However, currently, consequences are not represented.
For example, if you catch a murderer, nothing happens to him. An arsonist also has nothing to fear, a farmer does not return to his farm after it has been freed from undead, and a rescued child is never reunited with its mother. When the development team was approached about this, they appeared to have not considered these things at all and did not understand why consequences need to be visibly represented.
With a release in early next year, the development team of Shroud of the Avatar should quickly come up with something here. Because when a game is announced as “a story-driven RPG with a single-player narrative structure and decisions with consequences,” then players want to see these things in the game.

The winter event “The Dawning” introduces Strike Scoring in Destiny and delivers old Strikes in a revamped form.
On December 13th, “The Dawning” starts, this year’s winter event in Destiny. This brings back not only Sparrow Racing but also fresh content for Guardians who find Sparrow races silly.
Strike Scoring will be enhanced with the Dawning. Strike Scoring is coming. We already know:
It is important to collect as many points and medals as possible in the Strikes.
Strike Scoring will be similar to the “Challenge of Elders”: By collecting points, you will earn rewards, climb leaderboards, and gain reputation with a new “Strike Scoring Vanguard faction” led by Zavala.
Zavala is also the point of contact for the bounties. These are important for the “Year 3” Icebreaker.
Strike Scoring is available in the Nightfall Strike, in the SIVA Crisis playlist, and in the heroic SIVA Crisis playlist.
There will be a book of medals for it, as well as a completely new gear set that can only be obtained through “Strike Scoring Challenges”.
What are points awarded for? The trailer indicates that there are different points for various enemy units, such as here for Dregs or Abominations:
Points are also awarded for explosive kills.
Important note: Strike Scoring is a feature that will remain permanently!
These Strikes will be revamped
To bring more variety to the Strike playlists, three new old Strikes will come to Destiny. These will be SIVA-infested. They are these Strikes:
This year’s pet for a good cause is the Evil Miez. 100% of the proceeds from this WoW companion go to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
This year, Blizzard has chosen a cat that can accompany you digitally in World of Warcraft or as a plush toy in real life. If you purchase a digital version of the Evil Miez by December 31, 100% of the proceeds will go to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. With this purchase, you are doing something good for yourself and for others. In the video, Blizzard introduces the Evil Miez.
World of Warcraft Legion – The Evil Miez
This curious cat could soon be your new companion. With such charity actions, Blizzard is raising money for Make-a-Wish again this year. Last year, there was the pet Lightpaw, from which approximately 1.7 million dollars in donations were collected.
This trailer introduces the Evil Miez and shows that it can warm even the coldest hearts.

The online melee combat game Absolver received a new trailer at PlayStation Experience 2016.
For half a year, we have been observing the “Online Multiplayer Combat RPG” Absolver, an interesting project that gained more recognition at E3 2016 and led to astonished looks.
The game is developed by Slocap, a team of experienced programmers, designers, and artists. Devolver Digital is the publisher. A new trailer has now been released, showing in-game scenes and throwing around a few keywords. Three words are particularly important: “Online Melee Action”:

Absolver will not be a simple brawler game where you smash each other’s heads. Instead, it will be a complex online melee game that places a strong focus on pronounced “Martial Arts” combat. You play as a masked fighter who must prove their worth in an open world filled with other players and NPCs to become an “Absolver”.
The Background Story
In Absolver, you awaken in the ruins of the fallen “Adal Empires” – with a mysterious mask on your face. This mask is a creation of the “Guides”, the rulers of these lands. They test you to see if you are worthy of being part of the elite unit of “Absolvers”. Apparently, you had previously made certain vows and oaths, which is why you must now pass this admission test.

Online Multiplayer Action: The candidates and “Absolvers” will seamlessly encounter other players in this world, generating unique stories that depend on the actions and decisions of the players. It is never certain whether a fight is imminent or if the players want to interact peacefully. The encounters have lasting consequences: Will you become friends or enemies, find mentors or students? On your journey, you will learn new martial arts, acquire weapons, and equipment.
Smooth Real-Time Combat: In real-time battles, you must prove your tactical skill and execute effective attacks. You must also evade or parry the offensive efforts of your opponents. Duels and even 3vs3 melee battles are possible.
Customizable Fighting Style: You determine your individual play style by selecting the fighting style and weapon and designing a unique “attack flow”. Your enemy will never know exactly which attacks and movements you plan to use to take them down. In this way, you can create your personal fighter.
The combat system is subtle but deadly: According to the developers, the fights are fluid and dynamic. At the beginning, they are simple and intuitive, but as the game progresses, your skills will become increasingly complex. Each “move” is meant to be purposeful and not just another animation of the same attacks.
By the way: You fight not only with your fists but also with weapons, such as swords. However, during the fight, it is possible for your enemies to take your weapons away from you.
PvP and PvE: You explore a dynamic world that contains PvP battle arenas: Their winners will be rewarded with prizes and advance in the rank of the Absolvers. There are also PvE dungeons where players must cooperate to obtain rare loot from the depths of the “Adal Mines”.
Absolver is intended to be a game with a unique multiplayer experience. You should be able to fully immerse yourself in the game world; the online experience is based on gameplay and gestures. In this aspect, Absolver bears similarities to Journey.
Absolver will be released in 2017 on PC and consoles. PS4 players can look forward to early access and exclusive content.
Superdata has announced the sales figures for digital games for October. Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 performed well.
In October, there were significant developments in the video game sector. Both Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 were released in October. Shortly thereafter, in early November, Call of Duty Infinite Warfare was released. When the releases of three major titles are so close together, the revenues become particularly interesting. In total, digital sales generated $6.7 billion in October.
Battlefield 1: A Hit on Consoles
In the console sector, Battlefield 1 scored big. It was the highest-grossing console game in October and reached 7th place in PC revenue. Battlefield 1 generated $70 million in revenue on consoles and $110 million in total across all platforms. In first place among the highest-grossing PC games is, by the way, League of Legends.
Titanfall 2: In the Shadow of Battlefield 1 and Co
With the sales of Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2 cannot keep up. Although Peter Moore from EA said that one could experience a positive surprise with the digital sales of the game, the numbers have been rather low.
Titanfall 2 struggled to compete against other shooters like BF1 or CoD Infinite Warfare, achieving only $18 million in revenue across all platforms. This amounts to approximately one-third (28%) of the revenue that Titanfall 1 generated in March 2014.
In general, Titanfall 2 receives positive reviews and is praised. If you are still considering whether to give Titanfall 2 a chance, we have here 5 reasons to play Titanfall 2.
In less than two weeks, Titanfall Online will enter its first beta test.
Gaming has developed differently in Asia than in the West. There, people play in “internet cafés” and haven’t focused on home consoles like we have. This means that major shooter franchises like Call of Duty, Borderlands, or Titanfall play a minor role in Asia. Only a few might play them at all. However, these franchises already have a certain name and value there.
Therefore, local studios are producing “online” versions of these games in collaboration with Asian partners, which can only be played in Asia and often have an “MMO” character, even if only in a rudimentary form. Nexon, a Korean MMO specialist, and Respawn, the creators of Titanfall, have now teamed up to bring “Titanfall Online” to South Korea. A beta test starts on December 15.
As a model for Titanfall Online, Titanfall 1 is likely the inspiration
Four Titans will be available in Titanfall Online: Atlas, Ogre, Stryder, and Destroyer. There is already some gameplay footage available.

A release for the Western market is probably not planned. There is always a faint glimmer of hope that such a spin-off becomes so successful that publishers will have no choice but to operate it worldwide. However, hope for such a miracle is rarely justified.
By the way, where things didn’t go as hoped – where it really didn’t work at all – was with Borderlands Online:
Officially, the test servers for Battlefield 1 have been confirmed. There, you can test patches in advance and provide your feedback to the developers.
Test servers in Battlefield 1 are called Community Test Environment. These servers were already important for the developers, the community, and thus for the game in previous installments of the series. Just like Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline, Battlefield 1 will also have a Community Test Environment. Although there is no exact release date for it yet, it is said by DICE employee “Striterax” that it will be completed as soon as possible.
Battlefield 1 CTE for Better Communication
In the Battlefield Forum, PlebFlo wrote a post to Alexander “Striterax” Hassoon, in which he asks for better communication among other things. He states that one of the biggest problems with Battlefield 1 is the lack of communication between developers and the community.
Striterax has often shown his closeness to the community in the past by, for example, responding to comments on the Battlefield 1 subreddit. In the thread from PlebFlo, he agrees that communication is an important point. For this reason, a Community Test Environment has been developed where players and developers can work closely together.
There, one can discuss features and future changes and express criticism and suggestions for improvement in an open dialogue. Striterax writes that they are already working hard to activate a CTE for Battlefield 1. This is supposed to happen “as soon as possible” so that the developers can better discuss changes in the game with the players.
More precise details on the Battlefield 1 CTE are not yet clear. It is unclear whether this test environment will be accessible to every player, or whether there are special requirements for it. As soon as there is news about it, we will inform you.
The new Pokémon GO tracker is here. Many trainers are confused by the new system. This little guide will help you to use the tracker correctly.
Trainers have been waiting a long time for the new Pokémon tracker and finally it is here. However, since the tracker can be used, many complaints have accumulated, as players find it confusing due to the “Nearby” function. Trainers in rural areas can hardly use the tracker, as it is based on PokéStops. However, there are not many of these in rural areas. That doesn’t mean that the new tracker doesn’t work. Here you will learn how to use it to find and catch Pokémon.
This is what the new Poké tracker looks like
The new tracker is located at the bottom right of the main screen. This gives you a list of 9 Pokémon that are near you. A picture of the PokéStop at which the Pokémon are closest to you will be displayed next to it.
These Pokémon appear on the tracker
Some trainers claim that mainly common Pokémon appear on the tracker. The “Nearby” function probably does not help you find the Pokémon you really want. The rarePokémon will continue to need to be found by wandering aimlessly. Some Pokémon will appear or disappear while you are using the tracker. It often happens that a Pokémon disappears again before you have found it at the PokéStop.
Pokémon GO: How to use the new tracker
If you click on the PokéStop where the Pokémon you want is located, the Pokémon will be displayed on the map. Next to the PokéStop, a small bubble with footprints appears. The number of footprints should theoretically indicate how close the Pokémon is to the PokéStop. However, trainers have experienced that they have seen three footprints and caught the Pokémon right next to the PokéStop.
So just go to the PokéStop with the Pokémon you want and walk back and forth a bit until the Pokémon appears.
The tracker works best in big cities where there are many PokéStops. If you are on the hunt for rare Pokémon, you should wander around and not rely entirely on the tracker. But that’s part of the real Pokémon GO experience: wandering around aimlessly and seeking a little adventure.
Warframe: Viral PR and Content Patches instead of Advertising
Meridith Braun, a spokesperson for Warframe, gave an interview with GameIndustry, discussing the unexpected success of the title. Warframe believes that delivering good work is more effective than running a bunch of empty ads. Nothing beats “word of mouth” advertising. Players quickly realized that Warframe is a passion project. The last desperate attempt of a small studio to make something big.
Out of necessity, they made a virtue, not investing in marketing – there was no money for that. Instead, Warframe tried to generate viral attention for the game: through live streaming, social media, Reddit, and PR.
Later, they found that it was more beneficial to release real updates and improvements, to engage openly with the community, rather than to invest money in acquiring new players. Many free-to-play games spend a large part of their budget on that, according to Braun.
In Crisis: Call of Duty
New players would have come to Warframe through “word of mouth” advertising as news spread that Warframe keeps getting better over time. Once they had more money, they could also focus on classic acquisition strategies.
Free2Play Wave of Top Games like Paladins, Paragon, Warframe
When asked about the “shooter crisis” of titles like Call of Duty, Titanfall 2, or Watch Dogs 2, the spokesperson for Warframe says: She believes that the F2P wave of top titles like Paragon, Paladins or even Warframe itself contributes to the fact that major shooter franchises are not as sought-after as they used to be.
They disrupt the classic “retail” model of these major titles.
The new free-to-play games are filling the long gaps between major releases and are now getting more attention and recognition. High-quality free-to-play titles are steadily on the rise. They are taking their share of the “gaming market” pie.
[pullquote]The continued rise of AAA-quality, free-to-play games coming to market – and their ability to fill the long gaps between large IP releases – is taking a bite out of the big game market.[/pullquote]
Competing with “free” is difficult when free-to-play games are as high-quality as major productions. It is in the nature of free-to-play games to continuously improve through updates and new content. They are designed to be lighter and more flexible, allowing for quicker responses to market needs.
Paladins – also one of the free-to-play gems.
Free2Play Games – Not everything that glitters is gold
Mein MMO says:The success story of Warframe is remarkable. Of course, they are tooting their own horn here and singing the praises of “free-to-play” games. Reading this, one wonders why anyone would buy a game at all. It’s not that simple. Free-to-play games have exhausted a lot of goodwill from players due to inflated price expectations for items in their cash shops, tricks, and broken promises in the past.
If you spend hours in a game and then realize you have to pay a lot to continue or keep up, that can drive away many customers. Many players fear this experience when they venture into a new “free-to-play” game.
Paragon is considered one of the upcoming free-to-play games.
How nice it is to see some real top titles now entering the market and also rebuilding the burned trust with “fair” payment systems. Because only this way can long-term success stories like Warframe happen at all.
The shooter crisis in autumn 2016 has many causes – shooter MMOs like Destiny or The Division are also said to be responsible:
In the new patch 7.1.5 for World of Warcraft, Blizzard changes the secondary stats. You will need more points to increase the value by 1%.
The secondary stats Critical Strike, Haste, Mastery, and Versa will be changed in patch 7.1.5. With these changes, you will need more points to increase the values by 1%. Blizzard aims to improve rings and necklaces with these changes. The item levels of items are supposed to play a bigger role again.
Changes to Secondary Stats in Patch 7.1.5
The current changes to secondary stats on the PTR are as follows:
Critical Strike: To increase this value by 1%, you now need 400 instead of 350 points.
Mastery: To increase this value by 1%, you now need 400 instead of 350 points.
Haste: To increase this value by 1%, you now need 375 instead of 325 points.
Versatility: To deal 1% more damage and healing, you now need 475 instead of 400 points. To take 1% less damage, you now need 950 instead of 800 points.
WoW: Legion – The Goals Behind These Changes in 7.1.5
The Community Manager Lore has commented on these changes and the goals the developers have in the official WoW forum.
1. Goal: The item level of various items should play a bigger role in upgrades. Currently, items with much higher item levels are not important for improvements because the secondary stats vary too much. By needing more points in the future to increase a secondary stat, the focus should return to primary stats. Players are currently forgoing upgrades of up to 15 item levels to avoid losing secondary stats.
2. Goal: Rings and necklaces should be improved. By removing primary stats from these items, WoW players must choose the right secondary stats. The secondary stats on these items should significantly increase at higher item levels. However, there will still be situations where one opts for item levels on rings and necklaces to get better secondary stats. This is intended.
3. Goal: The strength of players should not be changed. Due to the stat changes on the PTR, players currently deal less damage there than on the live servers. Work is still being done to ensure that items with item levels above 800 in patch 7.1.5 are equally strong or slightly stronger than in WoW patch 7.1.
These changes will affect some classes more than others. Ultimately, the power of your character should depend more on primary stats than it has in the past. This will make your attacks in World of Warcraft stronger overall, even if they do not critically hit as often. While working on patch 7.1.5, there may be adjustments to the various class specializations if necessary.
In Destiny, the winter event “The Dawning” brings new exotics, fresh ornaments, and an updated Icebreaker. Here’s how to get the items.
At PlayStation Experience 2016, Bungie presented a trailer for the upcoming content update “The Dawning”. During this three-week event, the Tower will be festively decorated, there will be gifts, the SRL returns, and you can acquire new toys in the form of exotic items.
From December 13 to January 3, there will be gifts every day!
It’s getting cold – Break the ice with the Icebreaker!
The biggest surprise for many: The exotic sniper rifle Icebreaker from Year 1 is returning with the winter event. This powerful weapon regenerates ammunition on its own. Bungie promises that the Icebreaker will return in Year 3 with all the perks that “we know and love”. Nevertheless, the sniper will be adjusted to the current balance.
To obtain the “Year 3” Icebreaker, you must go to Zavala, who will give you bounties for the upcoming “Strike Scoring”. He has weekly Nightfall strike bounties available. If you master these, you have a chance to get the sniper.
Note: This new skin for the Icebreaker has already been spotted. The ornament is named “Dunemaker”:
This ornament is also known:
The Executive Producer Scott Taylor believes that the Icebreaker thematically fits well with the winter update. Therefore, we can start hunting for the sniper from December 13.
Abbadon and Nova Mortis – the new exotics
“The Dawning” provides two more exotic quests, where you can get Thunderlord variants with an element of your choice. What these quests look like is still unknown. However, the two guns are said to be called “Abbadon” (Solar) and Nova Mortis (Void). They are machine guns, thus heavy weapons:
With “Rise of Iron”, perks were already introduced that can be assigned to these two weapons. Incendiary Rounds (likely Solar) and Negative Rounds (likely Void) are the respective counterparts to “Lightning Rounds”, so the Lightning Shots from Thunderlord: The longer the trigger is held down, the faster and more accurately the weapon fires. The two new exotics will therefore have the same ability as Thunderlord, just with different elemental damage. More information about these Thunderlord variants can be found here.
New Ornaments
Additionally, screenshots of new ornaments have been released. Some of them were already known in advance, as they could be displayed in-game. It will be possible to purchase them in the Eververse. Here you can view them:
The role-playing game Life is Feudal is currently only playable as a survival game for single players or 64 players per server. But that will change in just a few days.
Because BitBox and Xsolla have announced the first closed beta test for the RPG. This will take place from December 14. You can sign up for this test phase on the official website. Or you can purchase one of the founder’s packages, which guarantee access to every closed beta phase and also provide some bonuses, such as specific items that should make it easier for you to get started in the game.
Test the MMO part of the RPG
Of all submissions, around one thousand players will be randomly selected. These will be allowed to test the MMO part of Life is Feudal along with the founders and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to the developers. Life is Feudal aims to offer a brutal and harsh medieval scenario. The interplay of thousands of players should create a vibrant world.
In the MMO part of the RPG, you start in an area where you can establish your home. From there, you slowly venture out into the world to meet other players, with whom you can trade or build cities. The developers want to provide players with comprehensive systems to ensure justice or engage in politics. Players can create empires and go to war against other kingdoms. PvP battles between players, which can extend to massive siege battles, are intended to provide tension and danger.
Two games, one name
In addition to the MMO part of the game, there is also Life is Feudal: Your Own, a version for single players. The game world is significantly smaller and is managed by the creators themselves. The MMO part is significantly larger and also persistent and is aimed at those looking for a hardcore sandbox MMO with many possibilities and freedoms. You can find out what the game feels like during the first closed beta starting December 14.

With a form and a YouTube video, WoW players want to call on Blizzard to pay more attention to the Warlock in World of Warcraft.
If you play World of Warcraft as a Warlock or have friends who play a Warlock, you might know what the form is about. The playstyle of this class has changed in the Legion expansion. Many players are frustrated with these changes and dissatisfied with Blizzard. To get the developers’ attention, the community is trying with detailed feedback. There is a form where you can submit changes, requests, and thoughts about the class. The video already shows initial results of this survey to be presented to Blizzard in the forum.
Attention in the WoW forums
The player Pyromancer has opened a thread in the Blizzard forums, addressing the Warlock community in World of Warcraft. It particularly discusses the current form of the Warlock, which many players are dissatisfied with. This concerns factors such as damage output and utility of the class.
Pyromancer has created a Google form where he requests feedback on the class. He wants to present the analyzed results to Blizzard, so the developers have something “concrete” to consider, rather than the typical “I am dissatisfied. Class X really needs a buff, and Class Y should definitely be nerfed.”
The form includes questions about class specializations as well as general questions about the Warlock. Pyromancer plans to summarize the results in a separate form and present them in a video as well. An initial video is already available, in which 1854 responses have been analyzed.

There you can see, for example, that almost half of the Warlocks who submitted the form use the Destruction specialization. Over 45% of these players have been playing the Warlock for more than 5 years.
If you want to support Pyromancer in the community action, you can find his thread in the official Blizzard Forum here: Pyromancer’s Warlock thread in the official Battle.net forums. There you can also find the survey form where you can answer questions about the Warlock.
