New hints are accumulating on the PTR of Overwatch – apparently, the “Doomfist” will soon be stolen.
A new PTR for Overwatch includes changes to Bastion and Mercy. However, resourceful dataminers are breaking down the patch into its smallest parts and have found some new details that suggest the upcoming release of the next hero “Doomfist”.
Anyone who has taken a closer look at the payload on the map Numbani will have noticed that they are transporting nothing less than the legendary glove of Doomfist, which also appears in the first cinematic.
In its current form, the payload is well-guarded and, above all, quite intact. On the PTR, there is now an alternative form of the payload, where individual glass shards are visible, and the payload is damaged – the glove of Doomfist has apparently been taken, or there was an attempt to steal it.
For fans, it is clear what has been hinted at over the past weeks and months: Doomfist will be the next hero of Overwatch, and Numbani will be adjusted as soon as Doomfist is implemented as a playable character.
A new soundtrack has also been found in the game data, which many are already calling “Doomfist’s Theme” – essentially his music. The piece corresponds to an excerpt from the first cinematic and then transitions into the “menu” music – so it would be the perfect song for the login screen of Overwatch.

How exactly Doomfist looks and who will be the bearer of the glove remains to be seen. However, since the glove is apparently being stolen from secure storage, it seems that the “new” Doomfist might not be a nice guy.
There is only one question left: What exactly are we escorting in Numbani, now that the glove of Doomfist has been stolen?

Have you ever played a Demon Hunter in Hearthstone ? With a mod, it’s possible.
Since the launch of the card game, fans have been demanding that Blizzard finally implement the still missing classes in Hearthstone. All classes that came to the MMORPG after the base version of World of Warcraft are not available in the card game. Blizzard has repeatedly stated that they are currently not working on implementing the still missing classes – namely Monk, Death Knight, and Demon Hunter – in Hearthstone. Doing so would cause significant issues with the current relatively good balance of the game.
However, because fans are impatient and can often work faster on their own than the developers of major game studios, there are already some modifications and standalone programs that largely recreate Hearthstone and add new cards and classes.
You can tell in many places that the modification does not reach the quality of real Hearthstone. Especially animations and sounds leave much to be desired, and minor bugs can also be found repeatedly. A small impression of the possibilities is shown in this video:

Blizzard itself does not support such modifications. However, as you do not have to log in with a Battle.net account in this case, users are likely not at risk of punishment – but the creators of such modifications certainly are, as they are likely committing several copyright violations.
Nevertheless, it is exciting to see what could be done with a class like the Demon Hunter and new mechanics. The creativity of the community knows few bounds.

Maintenance work is taking place today, February 9th, for The Division. The servers are down.
The public test servers, the PTS, are slowly coming to an end. The PTS Phase 4 has been running for just a few days now and is supposed to be the last one in this testing cycle. Once the servers are shut down, it usually does not take long until the patch is brought into the live game.

Today at 5 PM, the weekly livestream “State of the Game” will take place, where the developers usually make announcements. We will report on this shortly.
The humorous tank game World of Tanks impresses at the Super Bowl with three funny commercials. Among other things, Sherman tanks and impotence drugs feature in them.
The commercial actually starts quite typically: An older gentleman takes a pill with the distinctly ambiguous name “Stiffedra” and confidently grinning, enters the pool with his partner, while a voice-over ambiguously extols the advertised impotence drug. Suddenly, a Sherman tank rolls in and flattens everything! “In a World of Tanks, Tanks rule!”

This commercial is just one of several funny clips that the Belarusian developer studio Wargaming produced for the Super Bowl, the major American football event. Ad slots during the Super Bowl are in high demand due to the immense viewer counts, so these mini-films likely weren’t cheap.

All the films have in common that they come off like typical, albeit slightly exaggerated commercials for various formats, which then are abruptly cut off when the tank appears out of nowhere and crushes everything.

In other spots, it’s not about impotence drugs, but rather a small house that meets a sudden end under tank tracks. Or about a supposed series where quarrelsome housewives insult each other as the worst mother and slut until a tank puts an end to the disgraceful bickering. The commercials are ridiculously funny in their absurd silliness. Therefore, we have embedded all videos from Wargaming’s US YouTube channel here for you. Tanks Rule!

Episode 4 of the Living Story of Guild Wars 2 escalates the conflict in Kryta. While the capital Divinity’s Reach is under attack, the followers of the White Mantle have devastated the surrounding area. Together with the developers, we took a look at the new content.
“The Head of the Snake” in Episode 4 (Season 3) of Guild Wars 2 is none other than the cult of the White Mantle. These villains were already your arch-enemies in the first Guild Wars, and now they are back in Guild Wars 2. After the cult’s machinations have increasingly come to the fore in the previous episodes, the conflict finally escalates in Episode 4.

In a hands-on session with ArenaNet, we were able to experience the key features of the new episode in detail. After you received the mission from Queen Jennah in Divinity’s Reach to stop the White Mantle, you immediately head to the outskirts of the city. The formerly quaint Kryta is hardly recognizable.
The city of Divinity’s Reach is under attack!
The cultists have laid everything to waste and set up their artillery positions everywhere. They are impressively bombarding the capital, which has quite an impressive shield. This shield still withstands the fire of the fanatics, but if you don’t quickly reduce the bombardment, the queen is in serious trouble.
Conceal and Deceive
However, even if you can provide temporary relief, in the end, the head of the snake must come down. To do this, you infiltrate a stronghold of the White Mantle, for example, by dressing in costumes and disguising yourselves as Mantle Knights. The deception is not perfect, so you must be careful not to be uncovered.
With disguises, you can infiltrate the enemy’s base unnoticed.
As a saboteur, you poison supplies, damage equipment, and create all sorts of havoc in the enemy camp. Later, you end up in remote areas of Kryta, where you encounter a quirky hermit who is preparing for the apocalypse and has built a small fortress in the wilderness. How fortunate that an army of Mantle Bearers is right behind you and you could really use the fortress.
The battles in the Centaur camp are brutal!
However, since the owner hates centaurs, you must deal with the aggressive horse people in exchange for help. They trample everything down at regular intervals and have set up entire gauntlets with hidden archers. Without a good plan, you’re sure to go down here!
Reclaim Kryta!
Another cool feature of the new episode is the (re)conquest of various villages in the outskirts. If no one does anything about it, the White Mantle occupies these settlements. If you help the loyal Seraph Guard of the queen, you can boost their morale and start a reconquest. This is followed by several tough fights including a boss fight, and in the end, you receive rewards, and the settlement is back in the hands of the royal troops.
This monster is the final boss of a liberation battle.
But that’s not the end of it. Every 40 minutes, the cultists attack some city again, and you have to defend it. There are also great rewards for this, and the more successful you are, the better your morale buff, which makes further battles easier. The White Mantle also has its own morale value. You lower it, among other things, by throwing rotten fish at them, soiling their cloaks, and thus demoralizing them.
Jürgen says: With Episode 4, ArenaNet continues the already fantastic third season of the Living Story. Especially the large battles over the villages and the overall state of war in Kryta provide a great atmosphere and really make you want to beat the wretched White Mantle. I’m curious how the conflict will end and what surprises the third season of Guild Wars 2 still holds.
Valentine’s Day is also celebrated in the MOBA Paragon. Therefore, you’ll get plenty of pink skins for your heroes.
How can one imagine Valentine’s Day in an action-packed MOBA like Paragon? Do you cuddle your opponents instead of killing them? Do you throw flower bouquets instead of grenades? Or do you invite your enemies to romantic dinners in the “jungle”? Of course not! Even on Valentine’s Day, there will be plenty of shooting, blowing up, and brawling in Paragon!

As a nod to the “Carnival of Hearts,” as Valentine’s Day is known in Paragon, there are fun pink skins for four heroes. One of them is available for free from February 7 to February 27: the Heartfire skin for the Brawler Angel Serath.
However, you’ll need to buy the other three skins in the shop if you want to send your heroes into battle looking cute in pink. The skins and their corresponding heroes are:
Love-Machine-Howitzer
Soulmate-Dekker
Love-Potion-Crunch
Have fun spreading loving shots, blows, and grenades in the Carnival of Hearts. Peace and Love!
The martial arts MMORPG Blade and Soul receives the update “Wings of the Raven” with two large new raids. These 24-player raids offer a new challenge and weekly reset lockouts.
A true Kung Fu master is always looking for new challenges. At least in the online role-playing game Blade & Soul, you can face new dangers every month. On February 8th, the update “The Wings of the Raven” will be released, and it features two new raids for 24 martial arts professionals.
Blade & Soul Raids – Weekly Lockouts
Sky Pinnacle
The first new raid takes you to the “Sky Pinnacle” on the island of Khanda Vihar. There, after many tough battles, you will encounter your former ally Lusung, who was already revealed during the tutorial of Blade & Soul at the Hongmoon School. Lusung is under the control of the dark Raven King in the raid, but a solid trouncing has cured everything so far. The loot includes new Baguas as well as the powerful “Weapons of the Raven”.
Dusk of Khanda Vihar
Raid number two is also located on the island of Khanda Vihar. The raid is called Dusk of Khanda Vihar.
Once a center of the ancient high culture of Naryu, those times are long gone, and now “Meganura,” an evil version of the “Great Dragon,” prowls through the ruins. In the raid, the enemies become increasingly difficult until the big boss finally appears.
You can only run both raids once per week. A lockdown timer ensures a prohibition if you have already defeated bosses or join a group that has already made progress. In this case, you can only continue where your group currently stands. The lockouts reset every Wednesday at 3 PM CET.
Conan Exiles offers you the opportunity to set up dedicated servers. Those who cannot afford or do not want their own server can rent servers in Conan Exiles. Learn here how it works and what you need to consider.
The survival MMO Conan Exiles has closed its first official servers, only to shortly after introduce new official servers. However, players also have the option to run their own private servers. There are already hundreds of such servers, as a glance at the server list in the game reveals. But what to do if you cannot find a server to your liking or simply want to play among yourselves? Then having your own server would be sensible.

Conan Exiles – Renting Servers – What does having your own server bring?
First of all, as the operator of your own server, you are the “god” of the online world. You determine the parameters, such as whether there is a multiplier for resources gained or experience points.
You can also set how much PvP is allowed, whether players keep their items upon death, whether other players can loot your corpse, and even how much nudity is allowed in the game.
Prudish players completely disable this feature, while fans of swinging penises and happily bouncing breasts are allowed to enjoy the full barbarian nude program. Additionally, you can install mods to your liking.
In short: You determine what happens in your Conan world. Furthermore, you can allow up to 70 players on your server and, via optional password prompts, only let in the people you want to have in the game. Ideal for clans and guilds that do not want to deal with trolling troublemakers.
Conan Exiles Server Renting – What should I watch out for?
If you want to rent a server, you should pay attention to several points. Because the cheapest offer is not always the best. The following table shows what a good private server should have:
Sufficient slots: Currently, you can let a maximum of 70 people onto your server, but Funcom plans to increase this limit to 100 later. So ensure that you account for enough slots for your fellow players when renting a server.
Prepaid payment: If you do not want annoying contracts with minimum terms, this option makes sense. You simply pay for the server regularly and do not have any stress if you do not feel like playing Conan Exiles after a few weeks. Alternatively, choose an offer with as short minimum contract terms as possible; otherwise, you might end up stuck with an empty server for a long time.
DDoS protection: A good rental server has some level of protection against such malicious attacks. If you want to secure yourself, DDoS protection is a must.
Additional storage for mods: Mods are a big reason for operating a private server, so there should also be enough space for mods in addition to the game and additional software.
Server location in Germany: If you want to have minimal lag, the server should be located in Germany. At least, if you also live in Germany. Because even if servers overseas or elsewhere are cheaper, performance is definitely not optimal when data has to travel across the Atlantic or over the Ural.
Alternatives to Renting a Server and Providers for Conan Exiles Servers
Alternatively, you can also set up your own machine as a server, but it would need to run continuously, and the high computational cost would likely make simultaneous play on the server difficult.
It is also possible to start a “Solo/Co-op round” in Conan Exiles and make it accessible to other players. But be careful: your hosted game instance is only active as long as you are online. So if you want a permanent world of your own, you cannot avoid a private server.
If you now want to rent a server for Conan Exiles, the following providers would be a good choice. However, you will find new offers on the internet daily that may suit your needs even better:
ZAP-Hosting: Slot from 0.56 Euro, DDoS protection, TeamSpeak server available for rent
Nitrado: Slot from 0.74 Euro, freely selectable minimum term
Dawn-Server: Slot from 0.75 Euro, 10 GB for mods, freely selectable minimum term
Today, Bungie presents changes to weapon balance in Hotfix 2.5.0.2 at a stream on Twitch for Destiny. We at Mein MMO are live with a ticker in German.
The Hotfix 2.5.0.2 is scheduled to be applied on February 14. This will reorder weapon balance in Destiny. Such adjustments are usually planned every three months, but the last change to the “sandbox” occurred in September, and the regular patch in December was skipped.
Therefore, the “meta” is already a bit rusty. Especially the dominance of shotguns is criticized by players. This evening, Bungie wants to introduce how the balance will change in a live stream on Twitch, starting at 7:00 PM our time.
We are live with a fun ticker in German. We do this sometimes for important events. And … the content drought in Destiny is so huge that we’re doing this to avoid getting completely rusty and losing our live ticker skills.
https://www.twitch.tv/bungie
So you won’t miss any information, but will have them all in your head as if shot from a shotgun. It will certainly be a great Destiny evening.
5:35 PM: Bungie aims to pursue 5 goals with the balancing:
Find alternatives and counters for shotguns
Adjust the power of primary weapons
Address some issues of each class
Fix issues with a selection of exotics
Make supportive adjustments to special ammunition
5:40 PM: Most fans wish Bungie would express itself more clearly. When I read the goals like this – it couldn’t be more unclear. Are we sure DeeJ didn’t graduate in obfuscation and propaganda?
6:00 PM: Bungie teases on Twitter. What could these numbers mean?

Probably “Yes, shotguns have always been strong, but it was manageable. Now they are nearly 30% – Oh God, we must intervene! Quick, wake Lars Bakken!”
6:05 PM: That’s how I imagine it.
6:40 PM: In 20 minutes, it begins. The actual highlight for the future of Destiny could be tomorrow evening, when around 10:30 PM the Activision conference call takes place. Perhaps we will receive more concrete hints regarding Destiny 2 or any other plans. It’s clear, that is now on the agenda. That’s what people want to hear.
6:55 PM: This would be the right time for pump players to make a prayer.
7:00 PM: They start a little later again. The countdown ends around 7:07 PM. About 8,400 people are in the stream. Far from previous records.
7:03 PM: People are starting to trickle in. DeeJ is doing a sound check: balance is changing for weapons and classes. It’s like at the cinema where everyone looks for a spot. Now 27,000 people are in the stream.
The live ticker for the live stream on balance changes in Destiny begins here
7:10 PM: You can thank the guy with the hat every time a hunter took you down with a golden gun. The Gunslinger was developed after that. Thank you very much, hat guy!
7:11 PM: The first statistic states: shotguns dominate. Particularly defender titans love them.
7:14 PM: In PvP (right image), hand cannons and pulse rifles are strong. Scout rifles and auto rifles are too weak. They need to be a bit stronger.
7:16 PM: And another statistic. It basically says: in PvP, guardians primarily use shotguns and snipers among special weapons. Fusion rifles and hand cannons are hardly used.
Shotgun nerf in Destiny
7:19 PM: These are the changes to shotguns.
Shotguns no longer have aim assist when fired from the hip.
If a guardian fires a shotgun while jumping, accuracy is significantly reduced.
Shotguns no longer deal extra damage for headshots.
To compensate in PvE, base damage is significantly increased (20%). Chaperon and Universal Remote continue to deal precision damage in Destiny.
The Invective will receive a 25% penalty on the time it takes to aim.
7:24 PM: The goal is for shotguns to work when you stand still and aim at the opponent’s body. Players should not be jumping around like Batman and taking people out from the air.
Pulse rifle nerf in Destiny – Clever Dragon, Malok’s Grip
7:26 PM: The two strongest pulse rifles are being addressed.
7.7% slower fire rate for rapidly firing pulse rifles. This affects pulse rifles like Clever Dragon or Malok’s Grip.
Clever Dragon and Malok’s Grip both received smaller magazines – about 6 rounds less.
High Caliber Rounds will become weaker.
Flinch overall will also be reduced for pulse rifles, making them less able to suppress opponents.
The slowest pulse rifles will fire 5.3% faster. This is a buff.
Pulse rifles, scout rifles, and auto rifles are now more accurate when fired in the air.
Auto rifle buff
7:31 PM: Auto rifles are getting buffed, especially the slow ones.
Slow-firing auto rifles will deal more damage. These include weapons like Suros Regime.
Precision hits with auto rifles will deal more damage – from 1.25 to 1.3.
Hand cannons – not a sniper weapon
Hand cannons will be more accurate starting next week but will have shorter range.
Hand cannons now have higher initial precision – like in year 1. The first shot hits again as it did in the past.
Range has been reduced by 5 meters. This causes the drop-off to occur earlier. At maximum distance, the hand cannon now deals significantly less damage.
Special ammunition – changes in the Crucible
The aim is for players to use primary weapons more frequently.
Players start PvP matches with special ammunition.
When dying, players lose all their special ammunition.
Special ammunition boxes will appear more frequently.
You need to be closer to the box to receive ammunition.
In elimination games, players only start the first round with special ammunition.
Icebreaker and Shadestep generate special ammunition.
Hand cannons retain special ammunition.
Class changes
Hunter: The Blade Dancer’s knife now gives back a large amount of health but no shield. The thrown knife now deals solar damage.
Warlock: Stormcaller has less range in melee. Landfall will be weakened, now reducing the time in trance.
Titan: Juggernaut will be disabled when titans are in the air – this takes a while.
Some changes to exotic weapons are expected. Universal Remote is likely to receive a nerf. They plan to present this in the patch notes next Tuesday.
7:55 PM: The chat is urgently asking for information about Skorr (Skorr’s Token). However, Bungie is not changing anything about the artifacts.
8:00 PM: The stream is coming to an end. There are indeed some changes. Let us know in the comments how you feel about the changes.
Important information about the artifacts, which will surely play an important role even after the patch, can be found here. Especially check Skorr’s Token if the chat makes such a big deal out of it…
The fantasy MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV had a rather unimpressive year in 2016 – there was a lack of an expansion.
The financial report from Square Enix for the period from April to December 2016 is available. Overall, the company is doing significantly better compared to the previous year. Profits jumped up by 26%. This is mainly due to the two blockbusters Final Fantasy XV and Rise of the Tomb Raider. The mobile games like Final Fantasy Brave Exvius are also performing excellently.
A small reprimand in the financial report for the performance of MMORPGs like Final Fantasy XIV. The ongoing operating income is stable, but MMORPGs have achieved significantly lower sales volumes than in the previous year.
This translates to: Subscription money continues to come in, but there is a significant lack of income from one-time sales. The reason for this is mainly, that there was no major expansion for Final Fantasy XIV in 2016 like the previous year’s Heavensward.
In 2017, a large expansion for Final Fantasy XIV is set to be released in June with Stormblood. Perhaps next year there will be a pat on the back in the financial report for the MMORPG again.
Much emphasis is placed on the online mode of Red Dead Redemption 2. Does this make the game a competitor to GTA 5 Online?
One of the most important games of 2017 is likely to be the highly anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar Games is working on versions for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, which are set to be released this fall.
However, Red Dead Redemption will not be a purely offline game but will feature a promising online mode. According to publisher Take Two, this mode is not intended to compete with GTA 5 Online.
Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 5 Online do not obstruct each other
During a conference, Strauss Zelnick, president of Take Two, announced that RDR2 and GTA 5 Online will function simultaneously. He says that entertainment is something people want to have, but do not necessarily need. If there are no appealing offers in the market for players, there is no reason to use an offer. When multiple appealing offers are available, consumers will utilize all these offers.
What players can expect in the online mode of Red Dead Redemption 2 is still unknown. According to Rockstar, there is a vast and atmospheric game world that is supposed to serve as the basis for a brand new online multiplayer experience.

What is the TOTW in FUT 17?
Every Wednesday, EA Sports reveals the Team of the Week in the “Ultimate Team” mode of their annual football simulation. This is also the case in FIFA 17. Players who have shown outstanding performance in real football during the past week are rewarded with special cards that have improved attributes.
You can pack the TOTW cards within a week from those sets that can contain Rare (Gold) Players. However, the chances of that happening are regarded as low. Additionally, you can purchase them on the transfer market if they are offered by other players. However, the prices for them are often extremely high.
Paladins new patch OB 43 brings the new champion Maeve, a pink unicorn, and romantic Valentine’s Day skins. Hi-Rez has already deployed the update to live servers.
With Maeve, who made a name for herself as a very strong flanker on the test server, another champion enters the battlefield. And with Skye, it will be particularly romantic in this patch. She receives a heartbreaker skin. Other champions will also be adorned with pink heart weapons.
New Champion – Flanker Maeve
The community has been speculating about the new champion Maeve for weeks. Most were sure it would be a cat. Maeve is human but comes with skills that resemble those of a cat.
She is a flanker and sneaks up on her opponents by cloaking them in darkness and blinding them. She throws her claw-like daggers from a distance. Maeve has various abilities that give her more speed, allowing her to quickly run behind and around enemies. These are also useful for a quick escape.
In time for Valentine’s Day, a Valentine’s Day chest will appear in Paladins. It is filled with cosmetic upgrades for your champions. Skye gets a skin-tight, pink latex suit and her crossbow is adorned with hearts.
Other champions will also be getting pink, heart-shaped, and romantic skins. For example, Pipp now wears the well-known pink glasses on his head, and Viktor has a heart eyepatch. There are also Valentine’s weapons for some champions in the love chest.
Paladins New Mount: Candy-Unicorn
Players have been wishing for a new horse for Paladins for a while, and so yesterday some were excited in the Twitch chat about the Candy-Unicorn. It is white with hearts on its rear, has a pink mane and a deep red saddle with golden hearts.
Rewards for PvE Quests
There will now be rewards for the PvE mode – through weekly quests. If you win 5 matches in PvE, you get 50 Crystals. The crystals are available once per quest for each account.
Chests Can Now Be Bought in Large Quantities
Radiant Chests are now also available in large quantities. If you buy multiple chests, you get a bulk discount.
1x Radiant Chest – 50 Crystals (50 Crystals per chest)
5x Radiant Chests – 225 Crystals (45 Crystals per chest)
10x Radiant Chests – 400 Crystals (40 Crystals per chest)
15x Radiant Chests – 550 Crystals (37 Crystals per chest)
Radiant Chests – 700 Crystals (35 Crystals per chest)
As a quick option, it has been introduced that chests can be opened by pressing the spacebar or ESC. You can also now equip items immediately upon receiving them from a chest.
With patch OB43, bugs have also been fixed and a few items, champions, and maps have been adjusted.

SWTOR attracts old and new players with great bonuses – it has never been easier to reach the endgame and get suitable gear!
At Star Wars: The Old Republic, the winter sales for experience points have apparently started. The developers at BioWare have decided to give SWTOR players a little “goodie” to bridge the time until the next patch.
From February 7, 2017, to April 10, 2017, there is 150% additional experience points for regular leveling and expansion of the Galactic Command.
Now is the perfect time to quickly level up secondary, tertiary, and quaternary characters to the maximum level and simultaneously boost the rank of the Galactic Command to unprecedented heights. Since better gear is directly linked to the Galactic Command, this is likely the perfect opportunity for many players to prepare for the endgame content and be ready for upcoming operations.
If that is still not enough experience points, the bonuses can also be combined with the boosters from the cartel market.
