The hand cannons and automatic rifles underwent some changes in Destiny 2.5.0.2. Here you can see before-and-after comparisons in the video.
The YouTuber Mesa Sean created an interesting video about the balance patch 2.5.0.2. He conducted some tests and distance measurements with various weapons before the update, which he then repeated after the update. He wanted to find out how the changes and the percentages provided by Bungie affect gameplay in practice. He focused primarily on hand cannons and automatic rifles.
Reminder:
For the automatic rifles, the precision damage modifier was increased from 1.25x to 1.3x. Additionally, the slower automatic rifles took a big hit from the damage pool: The “Suros Regime” archetype deals 2.5% more base damage. The precision of all auto rifles is now higher in the air.
The hand cannons now have accuracy like in the early days of Destiny: The bullets reliably hit where you aim. However, the base range was reduced by 5 meters. Aim assist and magnetism were reduced at greater distances, as well as the minimum damage after damage falloff.

Zhalo Supercell, Hard Light, Monte Carlo, and the other ARs with impact 8 previously dealt 20 headshot damage, now 21. From about 20 meters, the damage drops by 1 (for Zhalo).
SUROS Regime (with focused fire): Previously 34 headshot damage, now 36. Damage drop of 1 from about 23 meters.
Fate of All Fools: Previously 90 headshot damage with damage drop of one point at about 28 meters. Now the video shows 88 headshot damage at 15 meters. The reason for the lower damage here is unclear.

By the way: The melee range of the Stormcaller’s Thunderstrike was reportedly reduced according to the patch notes. Mesa Sean stated it was previously about 10 meters and now 9.

The hints about the new hero in Overwatch are intensifying. The community is settling on: Omnic lady Anchora is the next hero!
Hardly a day has passed since the release of the “interview” with Efi Oladele and the community has already picked up the trail for the next hero. Overall, everyone seems to agree that Efi herself is not directly playable or at least does not participate directly in the combat. Since she is only eleven years old, Blizzard would likely risk huge waves of outcry.
But so far, everything points to Efi’s invention that she built to – as she says – “protect other people”. This is the clear definition of a tank. Also, her artwork, which is clearly just a snippet from a larger image, strongly suggests that she stands “next to” something large, resting her right arm on it – like a robot.
This robot has long since been named: Anchora.
Anchora, the new Omnic tank from Overwatch?

Another YouTube trend rushes by without understanding. What exactly is the fascination with unboxing videos?
The internet is full of crap. Especially YouTube. These “Just a prank!” videos, where people accidentally break their arms or destroy the belongings of others, really get on my nerves. Just like those wonderful “challenges” where you either do nothing (Mannequin Challenge) or throw your life away (“Set yourself on fire” challenge).
In the last few months, however, YouTube has increasingly been recommending videos from another trend that is almost as silly but twice as boring: unboxing videos.
With some unboxing videos, I can at least understand a small basic interest. When it’s about those “loot boxes” or any other boxes with “random” contents, there’s at least a small factor of suspense involved.
But in all other areas? I just don’t get it.

I furrow my brow. So much that I probably look two decades older. The overly enthusiastic guy unboxes the box as if a wild animal is sleeping inside that must not be awakened. If you want to get the best legendary weapons and armor pieces, there is no way around leveling your heroes. Because the loot you receive after matches and from item packages depends on character progress.
This means that your hero must first reach certain milestones before they can access higher quality loot. These “milestones” are tied to the Glory and level system.

Many fans are therefore asking: What does the future hold for the shared-world shooter – will there be a Year 2 or a full sequel, a “The Division 2”?
Even though we are already in 2017, we know surprisingly little about future plans. There is even an official confirmation pending as to whether new game content will come at all. Ubisoft and Massive have so far refrained from making a statement like: “This content will come in 2017 and these months can be expected.”
Ubisoft: Successful game will be expanded
All previous hints, leaks, and rumors indicate that no full sequel, a “The Division 2”, will be released. Instead, a “Year 2” plan for the current The Division seems likely. We summarize the reasons for this.
Just two weeks ago, Ubisoft made the vague statement that they will expand a successful game rather than releasing a new title in the franchise, as was originally planned.
We do not know if this really refers to The Division, but we strongly assume it does. One might speculate that Ubisoft once planned to release a “The Division 2” in 2017 or 2018. However, it seems that we will continue with “Year 2” – if the statement refers to The Division.
That the developers will not close the shutters after 1.6 and “Last Stand” was announced a few days ago by Massive during a livestream. Further updates will come, but they cannot say more about it yet. Community Developer Hamish Bode joked that he would probably keep his job for a while longer.
Leaks and surveys point to “Year 2”
As early as the end of 2016, surveys from Ubisoft caused a stir: These were sent via email to selected agents and asked specific questions about the possible future of The Division.
Furthermore, they asked what players wish for The Division in the future. Whether they want to experience a completely new city or further adventures in New York. Many users were already confident back then: Ubisoft has not given up on The Division; instead, they are planning future content.
In mid-December 2016, a leak in the form of a resume appeared: This belonged to an environment artist, a developer who deals with the environment of The Division. On his website, he mentioned, alongside his completed work on the main game, a “Year 2 DLC” that is currently in development. There grew the hope: “An environment artist? New areas are finally coming!”
Will Ubisoft focus on free DLCs?
Also, considering the efforts that Massive put into Updates 1.4, 1.5, and now 1.6 in The Division, it seems unlikely that there would be an end after 1.6. Fundamentally, a solid foundation has only just been established upon which future content can be built.
However, some users are unsettled by the recent statements from Massive: The developers only spoke of new updates coming. There was no mention of DLCs and large-scale expansions. Will there be no new game content anymore?
A statement from Massive a few weeks ago seems to shout: Yes! And possibly even in a player-friendly form – namely, free.
In mid-January, Massive introduced microtransactions: Update 1.6 introduces an in-game store for cosmetics with “premium credits,” which you can purchase with real money. And Massive has already commented on the question of why you are charged for additional cosmetic items: Weapon skins and outfits are popular in the community, and they want to make more available.
However, these items are not supposed to burden the resources that the developers want to devote to the main game. Through the monetization, they can bring new “vanity options” into the game independently, without compromising the production of the rest of the game, according to Massive. Here, too, the statement implies: The developers are working on future content.
It is speculated that The Division could take a similar path based on these microtransactions as Rainbow Six: Siege or For Honor (both Ubisoft games): That all future game content will be delivered for free, and there will only be optional offers to spend real money. Ubisoft has repeatedly emphasized with these games that they do not want to split the community with DLCs.
The “Year 1” of The Division was the exact opposite: Here, the community was often divided in many ways: DLC or no DLC, Xbox One, PC, or PS4 – only in the first months after release were all players on the same level. A topic that was heavily criticized in 2016. Offering free future game content would be a step in the right direction.
But note at this point: This is purely speculation. As soon as Ubisoft and Massive lift the veil of silence, you will find out about it with us.

However, those who leave the magnificent landscapes of Vvardenfell behind and descend into dark caves might encounter a “Hunger.” These are gruesome Daedra monsters that strike particularly hard with their long thorn-covered tongues.

Blizzard has gotten Overwatch fans excited about a new hero who is slowly appearing on the horizon. In a fictional interview, the developers introduced Efi Oladele, an eleven-year-old girl from Numbani. She is a genius in robotics and has already secured a scholarship at a young age – a glorious future indeed. But who is Efi Oladele? Will she be the next hero in the game?
Efi Oladele – Once a child, now an adult?
A popular theory in the hours following the release of the interview was that Efi had made these statements in the past. Players came to this conclusion because the article’s publication date was “today” and not in the future where Overwatch takes place.
This means that the interview would have taken place years ago, and Efi would no longer be eleven years old, but long since an adult. However, this theory was quickly debunked by Michael Chu, the Lead Writer of Overwatch. He explained on Twitter:
“The date only corresponds to the date of our release in the ‘real world’. The interview takes place at the current time in the Overwatch timeline.”

Consequently, Efi is definitely still a child, even if one or two years are added in “Overwatch time” since the first cinematics.
“Efi” as a hero? Unlikely!
It seems rather unlikely that Efi could be a playable hero herself. She is still a child, and although not everything in the Overwatch world is wrapped in cotton, it would still be surprising. Blizzard is hardly going to allow players to shoot at a child.
However, there could certainly be several conceivable “workarounds” to avoid this problem. Efi could, due to her talent for robotics, receive her own battle suit to enter the fray like D.Va in metallic armor.
Is Talon targeting the genius “Efi” for their own plans?
In general, it seems more likely that one of Efi’s inventions will hit the battlefield and not Efi herself.
Efi is an inventor with a sharp mind and a strong desire to create useful robots that can take over your work and “one day protect humans”. What would be more likely than a robot, possibly even with highly developed artificial intelligence? In the interview, Efi has “a plan” for what she wants to do with the scholarship money – what could that be if not a new invention that could then be playable as a “hero”?
From the number of current heroes, the next one should be a tank – Efi would therefore build a protective robot. That would also fit well with her desire to protect humans.
Is the interview just the setup for a plane crash?
Some people also suspect that the interview is just meant to introduce Efi’s dramatic story. After all, she mentions that she is planning a flight with her parents soon – her first flight. This way, Blizzard is laying the groundwork for a sad “the plane crashes and the parents die” story. The culprit could be the Talon organization.
Perhaps Efi herself will die, and one of her parents will seek revenge or want to keep her good plans alive. The possibilities are numerous.
Does the artwork reveal more than intended?
One last important clue is that someone has gone to the trouble of creating artwork of Efi Oladele – Blizzard usually only does this when the character still finds ‘use’ somewhere. And when you take a closer look at the displayed image of her, it becomes clear that she has her right arm bent as if she is supporting herself somewhere. What is she supporting herself on in her artwork? Surely on her invention! It’s conceivable that it’s a remote-controlled robot that she controls from a safe distance. Additionally, the yellow “cable” is rather suspicious…
Hopefully, we won’t have to wait long for an answer – since Blizzard has learned from the Sombra debacle, new information should follow in a few weeks.
A Twitch streamer known for his “World of Tanks” streams passed away on February 19 after being “on air” for 22 hours.
The 35-year-old Brian “Poshybrid” Vigneault died on February 19. His death was not announced until the following day. Vigneault leaves behind three children.
Over the course of a week, the 35-year-old tried to host several streams of 20 hours or longer to raise money for a charitable cause, the “Make-a-Wish” Foundation, which fulfills wishes for terminally ill children.
One of his moderators said that Vigneault had gone for a cigarette break and did not return. It was suspected that he had fallen asleep. Later, attempts were made to reach him via Discord, but instead of Vigneault, a police officer responded. He informed about the streamer’s death.

Kensei – Information about the Samurai Assault Unit
The Kensei are masters of Samurai martial arts and have been trained from childhood to fight – and die – for their emperor. They wear heavy armor and fight with their Nodachi. These are longer versions of the Katana that can elegantly slash their opponents.
As a Shock Troop Unit, the Kensei is suitable for beginners, as he is a balanced fighter with good properties in both offense and defense. Compared to other heroes, he has a strong range, but some of his attacks are slow. While he performs light attacks quite quickly, heavy attacks take a lot of time.
The special thing about the Kensei is his combos, some of which end with an unblockable, powerful attack.

Recently, Hi-Rez introduced its new patch OB44, which includes new cards for the champions. Players now receive Radiant Chests when they reach Mastery Levels 1, 2, 3, 4 & 10. This applies to each individual champion. Players receive the Radiant Chests retroactively if the Mastery Levels were achieved before OB 44.
Accounts created after OB44 will receive 36,000 Essence for completing the tutorial. Players who completed the tutorial before OB44 will also receive 36,000 Essence.
Those who purchase the Founder‘s Pack will receive 72,000 Essence. Players who already own the Founder’s Pack will receive the 72,000 Essence retroactively.
Hi-Rez believes that the Legendary Cards are a strong expansion for Paladins and intends to further develop and improve them with additional patches. The studio will continue to closely monitor the test server. Before the patch actually goes live, adjustments may still be made.
The addition of Essence and the revision of Radiant Chests are intended to improve the experience of unlocking new ways to play a champion.
