In Diablo 3 there will soon be a beta test where you can try out the skills and gameplay of the Necromancer.
The Necromancer in Diablo 3 has been an important topic in the D3 community for months. This new class is supposed to bring variety to Blizzard’s hack & slash game and provide an alternative to the six existing classes. For those of you who can hardly wait for the release, there is now good news: The Necromancer will be released soon. Before the release, you can participate in a beta test and take a closer look at the class.
Necromancer Beta Test
It won’t be long before Blizzard will send out invitations for the closed beta test of the Necromancer worldwide. However, there is no exact date for that yet. If you are selected to participate in the beta, you can get a preview of the abilities, stats, and gameplay of this class before the official release.
You can livestream your adventures with the Necromancer or share screenshots – there is no confidentiality obligation. For those who do not receive an invitation to the beta, it’s at least a small consolation if they can watch their favorite streamers try out the Necromancer.
The Necro and other content from the patch 2.6.0 are still in development and may be changed at any time. So it is not the final version of the Necromancer that you can try out in the test.
Necromancer Beta – Participation
If you want to participate in the closed beta of the Necromancer in Diablo 3, you should activate the option in your Battle.net account. To do this, go to the Battle.Net website and visit your beta profile. Here is your beta profile on eu.battle.net
There, you check the box in the Diablo section under “Beta tests I am interested in” and then click on “Update Preferences”.
By activating this option, you have a chance to participate in the closed beta. However, there is no guarantee for this. Invitations are based on system specifications, in-game activity, and luck. If you are invited, you will be notified via email.
During the testing phase, you can try out all the skills and abilities of the Necromancer and have access to other content from patch 2.6.0. New legendary items and unique set items for the Necromancer will be added later.
With the War for Iokath, SWTOR gets a new operation – fans have had to wait nearly 2 years for this.
Players of Star Wars: The Old Republic have had to endure quite a lot over the past few months. While story fans have fully enjoyed the past two expansions, things have looked bleak for fans of group activities. Aside from uprisings and a few group missions and flashpoints, there was little to do.
Particularly larger, organized guilds have repeatedly complained that there would be no new raids – or operations, as they are called in SWTOR. There was no incentive for large groups to play, aside from PvP.
No exact details about the operation “Gods of War” are available yet; only the first fight against the god Tyth is already known.

But Patch 5.2 has even more to offer than just a new operation. Players can meet some of their beloved companions from the past again and find out what they have been up to in the years since the original story of the game. For solo players, there’s a new area with daily quests,
Patch 5.2: War for Iokath is set to release on April 11, which is next Tuesday. For many players, this might be a good occasion to subscribe again to Star Wars: The Old Republic for a month.
The latest comic “Uprising” reveals a lot about the Overwatch story but also brings plenty of skin ideas to light.
As promised, Blizzard has released a new comic that sheds more light on the past of Overwatch . The latest comic “Uprising” focuses on the relationships among the Overwatch heroes as well as the conflict of the leader wanting to do the right thing while also adhering to the regulations.
Gabriel Reyes (Reaper) and James Morrison (Soldier: 76) are contemplating how to respond to the issues in England. Omnics and humans are in conflict, as the omnics are being oppressed. Officially, Overwatch is no longer allowed to act, as an investigation is already underway. However, Reyes has already sent McCree, who is “just coincidentally” on vacation in London.
Meanwhile, Morrison observes the young Lena Oxton (Tracer), who is just starting as a recruit at Overwatch. Tracer manages to persuade Soldier: 76 – even though it goes against orders, Overwatch deploys to prevent an escalation of the conflict.
Those who are proficient in English should check out the “Madefire” comic, which is accompanied by additional effects and sounds, giving it a denser atmosphere.
However, the most exciting aspect for many might be that the comic spoils potential skins that are likely to be part of the event. Since the characters are all a bit younger, we see them in special outfits – Tracer in her training gear, Genji as “Half Human, Half Machine”, Winston as a scientist, and of course Reinhardt, Mercy, and Torbjörn in their operational gear.
However, we haven’t seen anything regarding the potential Widowmaker skin yet – the secret will likely be kept until the last moment.
The nature of the game mode also seems to become clearer as Overwatch sends a team of 4 – Mercy, Reinhardt, Torbjörn, and Tracer – suggesting these might be the four candidates for the game mode. It would be conceivable that we have to protect humans and omnics from each other before the conflict completely escalates.
We will learn more about this on April 11, when the event is expected to go live in the game.
Today, on April 6th, the servers of The Division are down. Is anything changing during the maintenance?
Regular server maintenance for The Division takes place on Thursdays. Often, the developers deploy bug fixes during this downtime. However, this Thursday, work is only being done on the servers in the background:
At 9:30 AM, the servers will go offline. The expected downtime is three hours, so you should be able to play again around 12:30 PM.
A changelog will not be provided. Therefore, the player experience should not change.
Tonight, we expect the live stream “State of the Game” around 5 PM. In it, Massive talks about the current state of The Division and gives an outlook on upcoming changes. We will report on this shortly.

Paladins new flanker Lex is considered “OP”. He deals too much damage and is too easy to play. Here are some counter tips.
Lex is the hand of the law and stands for justice. Many players, however, find him to be not just but rather unfair.
Strategies must be developed first to specifically counter a champion. This is difficult for many against Lex, as his damage dealt is extraordinarilyhigh and he distributes this with automatic targeting.

Since Lex’s release, discussions have repeatedly arisen in the community that Lex is “OP”. OP stands for “Overpowered” and means overly strong.
The abilities individually are still acceptable according to most players. It is rather the combination of all abilities and cards that currently makes Lex a killing machine. Even players who have not practiced him much, quickly achieve top statistics with him.
Why is that?
Lex can reveal enemies every 30 seconds with “Revenge” and earn extra credits. As a result of the revelation, players find Maeve and Skye almost useless against Lex.
Other flankers quickly flatten against Lex: His normal damage is already high. Together with his legendary card “Quick Death”, the damage is increased many times over. Other flankers can be easily eliminated by a normal attack along with “Hunt”. Hunt automatically targets the next enemy. It takes two clicks, one of which aims automatically, to be able to kill an opponent with low health directly.
Lex’s ultimate ability “The Law” also targets automatically. All targets with 65% health are automatically eliminated. So it’s a “Click&Kill” ulti.
Lex works with automatic targeting, earns extra credits, reveals enemies, and deals massive damage. All of this makes him an “OP” champion in the eyes of the players.
It is difficult to counter Lex. Nevertheless, there are ways to keep him in check.
Items: Buy “Haven” against Lex. This item reduces direct damage. Lex deals direct damage.
Use your movement ability: Once your health points are low enough that Lex can eliminate you directly with “Hunt”, hide behind an ally as quickly as possible. Save your movement ability for this. You should ensure that the ally still has enough health left. “Hunt” always targets the enemy closest to Lex.
Use the delay of Magnums: Lex’s normal attack “Magnums” has a certain delay. Especially in 1vs1, you can try to dodge them.
Evie and Androxus are a good counter choice: Evie’s abilities “Blink” and “Glide” are excellent for getting behind Lex. Use this before he eliminates you with “Hunt” and kill Lex first. The same goes for Androxus, use his ability “Hell Step”.
Lex’s ultimate abilities “The Law” does not go through shields and only works with a line of sight to the enemy! Once Lex activates his ulti, try to get behind walls. Behind Fernando’s shield you are also safe.
Lex receives his first nerf with OB 47
In OB 47, Lex receives a nerf. His legendary card “Quick Death” will be adjusted. The bonus damage will be reduced from 40% to 30%.
However, many still feel this is not enough adjustment.
Leya says: I have had a few frustrating matches against Lex. I’m not a big fan of abilities that can eliminate opponents with a click. But that’s a matter of taste. The nerf to “Quick Death” is justified and gives Lex a better balance. I expect that Lex will continue to be adjusted over the next patches. With a few adjustments to his cards, he should be able to become a well-balanced champion.
Do you think Lex is too strong? Should he have been nerfed more besides the legendary card “Quick Death”?
The new patch OB 47 goes live tonight, here are the patch highlights:
Recently, Blizzard announced on Twitter that there will be a special event on April 12 at King’s Row – a payload map in Overwatch. This location is particularly important for the story. Here, Widowmaker assassinated the spiritual leader of the Omnics, Mondatta.
But London is also known for other things, as it is home to one of the largest Omnic enclaves that is hidden beneath the city. Players escort the “payload” to this enclave to eliminate all omnics with an EMP bomb.
More Story on King’s Row
In an interview with PCGamesN, Game Director Jeff Kaplan revealed that they have heard “the fans’ call for an event that does not take place in the real world.” “The event will be something special. When players see and play the event, they will experience what your feedback has resulted in.”
This means, in any case, that there is a playable part of this event and not just pure skins.
The theories suggest a PvE mode reminiscent of Junkenstein’s Revenge. Whether the players will be on the side of the Omnics or the humans remains to be seen. Above all, the story should be kept in the foreground.
“We have understood that players want more story and want to learn more about the world of Overwatch. I think they want to hear more about what has happened between humans and omnics and how everything led to the current state. Many of these questions will be answered.”
Finally, all Widowmaker fans can rejoice. She will receive a new skin as part of the event, which the development team is quite proud of. Kaplan said:
“I believe that all players who wanted a skin for Widowmaker will be very happy very soon.” – Expectations are certainly high.
New skin for Widowmaker is just around the corner!
The whole event will probably be kicked off with a comic that will be published “very very soon” – likely still within this week. This should give fans a first impression of what exactly happened during the “King’s Row Uprising” and what we will see in the corresponding event in Overwatch.
The action MMORPG TERA is getting a new class with patch 54.02: The sexy Moon Dancer with her glaive. Additionally, the patch brings numerous bug fixes, changes, and a challenge to level up as high as possible with the new class.
TERA is once again expanding its heroes. The agile and swift Moon Dancer is joining as a new heroine and can be played starting now. To ensure the fresh start with the new fighter is exciting, there’s an event where you can earn special rewards for the Moon Dancer when you reach certain levels.
https://youtu.be/5czSV7JmrCs
TERA – The “glaivetastic” Moon Dancer!
The Moon Dancer has been playable since April 4th in TERA and must be both female and of the Castanic race. The Moon Dancer dresses in (tight) leather and wields a noble moon glaive, a pole weapon with a blade at the end. This allows the Moon Dancer to execute wide slashes and sweeping attacks.
The Moon Dancer is a pure damage dealer and almost all her skills are designed to quickly change position and execute devastating area attacks. This makes the Moon Dancer ideal for players who like to clear pesky adds. However, since she can’t take much damage, she should only be played by players who are not overwhelmed by the many dodge and charge skills of the new class.
TERA – Patch 54.02 – Moon Dancer Level Challenge and New Hairstyles
To play as a Moon Dancer, you need to create a new heroine at level 1. However, thanks to the new hairstyles available in the character editor, she can look quite different from previous Castanics. Until April 25th, you can earn special rewards if you level up your Moon Dancer properly.
If you manage to reach the maximum level 65 by 12:00 PM on April 7th, you will even receive a special title called “Guardian of the Moon.” Speed leveling has never been more rewarding! However, the rewards can only be claimed by one hero per server and account.
What do you think of the Moon Dancer and the leveling event in TERA? Are you playing the MMORPG again or is it leaving you cold even with the Moon Dancer? And what do you think about the gender lock on the new class? Let us know in the comments!
In Destiny 2 the position of Game Director is now clarified. It is the former journalist Luke Smith, who was responsible for the most beautiful and worst moments in Destiny 1.
It has actually been pretty much clear for a while, but now it is official: Luke Smith is the Game Director behind Destiny 2. For a long time, Smith’s Twitter profile stated that he was “Game Director for an unannounced Bungie game.”
But now it’s clear: Luke Smith is the man behind Destiny 2.
Destiny 2: From Journalist to Game Director – Who is Luke Smith?
Luke Smith has worked as a journalist for several years. He wrote for the well-known US site Kotaku when it was still in its infancy.
In a podcast about his time back then, he mentioned that his day was divided into 3 phases: sleeping, playing World of Warcraft and writing for Kotaku. The transitions were apparently quite fluid. Woke up in the morning, wrote for a few hours, slept more, checked in the afternoon if the articles were okay, then played WoW deep into the night and went to bed.
Smith probably didn’t have a regular life rhythm back then.
After a short time at Kotaku, Smith worked at “1Up.com” and extensively covered Bungie’s Halo series there. During that time, Smith made a name for himself. Eventually, it wasn’t going so well at 1Up.com. Smith finally transitioned to the development studio where he had written so much.
Since April 2007, Smith had been at Bungie, doing practically everything related to writing. At first, he worked as a sort of internal editor and community manager, writing contributions for the fans, and then he transitioned into game development.
What did Luke Smith do in Destiny 1?
When Destiny 1 was approaching, Smith was already in a special position, which he probably owed to his wild WoW years.
Luke Smith was the head of raid development for “The Vault of Glass.” He worked with a team in secret on this raid, of which no one knew whether it would be a success. The background for the “Vault of Glass” also comes from Smith. After the raid content of Destiny 1 performed so well, Smith was promoted.
Thus, he became the lead creative for “The Taken King,” the Game Director, and primarily responsible for the design of the expansion.
It is hard to get a glimpse behind the scenes at Bungie, but Smith has likely had a steep career since the release of Destiny and is now one of the key minds behind the franchise.
Smith is responsible for the two “highlights” of Destiny 1: the “best raid” and the “best expansion” – at least according to general perception.
“Throw Money at the Monitor” – “I Sounded Like an Ass”
However, a low point of Destiny is also on his account.
When Smith introduced the expansion “The Taken King” in an interview with Eurogamer, he was asked multiple times why the expansion was so expensive, especially in British pounds. Smith said that he couldn’t show much yet. But if he could present a video of the new emotes now, then the interviewer would throw money at the monitor.
This triggered a shitstorm before the release of “The Taken King” in the fall of 2015: Fans were outraged by this statement.
The statement stuck with Smith for a long time. Later, Smith himself said that he really sounded like an ass. He has a strange sense of humor and a peculiar way. People around him have gotten used to it. But in that interview, the humor didn’t come across. He learned his lesson. Since then, Smith has wisely stayed out of “business questions”.
However, after “The Taken King” became such a success and the content expansions that came afterward, which were released without Smith, were rather disappointing, many are now longing for Smith’s return to the big stage.
We will see if Luke Smith can add another highlight to his career with Destiny 2. While he has hardly been seen since late 2015, we may soon see and hear the charismatic author Luke Smith more frequently in his new role as Game Director for Destiny 2.
It can be assumed that Smith – just like with “The Taken King” – will be the face and voice of Bungie’s new game Destiny 2 in the coming months.
Perhaps as early as May – a first livestream is planned to showcase gameplay for Destiny 2.
A study asked 1200 US teenagers and millennials about their preferences and brands. The Xbox comes out quite well, but it only leads with the youngest generation.
YouGov surveyed 400 teenagers of the “Generation Z” aged between 13 and 17. Generation Z is considered a generation that has grown up with the internet as a matter of course. They are also known as iGeneration or “Post-Millennials”. They were born after the year 2000. The teenagers of Generation Z, says the study, believe in brands that shape their world.
Additionally, 800 millennials were surveyed, who are aged between 18 and 25. They are called millennials because they were born in the period before the year 2000.
The survey primarily focused on brands. Where are the differences between the generations?
Generation Z: Xbox ahead of PlayStation
Among the “coolest brands”, the Xbox ranks 4th among Generation Z, ahead of the extremely cool brand “Oreo”, those cookies with milk filling.
In 7th place comes the PlayStation. But it still beats Doritos, a chip brand.
US teenagers see the Xbox as cooler than the PlayStation, no matter what sales figures say.
The limit of the Legion Supplies of the Legion Judicators in WoW is drastically reduced. Those who have too many supplies should act quickly.
Those who have been playing World of Warcraft in recent days will probably mainly stay on the Broken Shore. In addition to the world quests and collection opportunities for Nether Shards, there are also the Legion Supplies of the Legion Judicators here. These are needed for the construction of various buildings (such as the Mage Tower), which then provides special bonuses for 3 days. As long as a building is finished, however, many players keep their Legion Supplies to then use them “all at once” for the next construction.
Exactly this does not sit well with Blizzard and therefore they announced that the maximum limit for Legion Supplies of the Legion Judicators will be drastically reduced. Currently, players can accumulate up to 10,000 Legion Supplies (which corresponds to 100 turn-ins). However, with a hotfix on Thursday, April 6th, this amount will be drastically cut!
In the official forum, the Community Manager Lore states:
“One of the core mechanics of gameplay on the Broken Shore is collecting Legion Supplies of the Legion Judicators in order to construct buildings that, in turn, unlock new content and bonuses. We recently noticed that players are hoarding supplies to use them at a later time. That’s fine up to a certain point, but if this becomes a general behavior of players, it could negatively impact the construction rate of the buildings and therefore delay the content and bonuses.”
The new limit for Legion Supplies will be 1,000. All supplies that were in the players’ inventory exceeding this limit will be removed from the game. So anyone who actually has so many supplies should exchange them this evening to avoid a shocking surprise tomorrow.
Guild Wars 2 has been trying for some time to establish itself as an eSports title, including the Guild Wars 2 Pro League with the ESL. This has now been dissolved.
Guild Wars 2 is not actually an eSports candidate as an online role-playing game like MOBAs or (Hero) shooters such as League of Legends or Overwatch. Nevertheless, the developers at Arenanet always wanted to get into the big eSports business and even established their own Pro League in the ESL (Electronic Sports League), the world’s largest and oldest eSports company, at the end of 2015.
But now, the big eSports dreams are over, as ESL has terminated the Guild Wars 2 Pro League!
Guild Wars 2 eSports ESL Pro League – Everything will be over in a week
Via Twitter, the eSports organizer ESL announced that it will close the Guild Wars 2 section. This will be official next week; there will be two more cups before it ends. The ESL Pro League for Guild Wars 2 was an important part of Arenanet’s Guild Wars 2 World Championship. The ESL sponsored several tournaments and other events. It is unclear how professional Guild Wars 2 eSports will continue without the ESL.

According to most player comments in forums and on Twitter, the end of Guild Wars 2 at ESL is not surprising and has actually been long overdue.
Guild Wars 2 is simply not eSports material. It is indeed better suited for eSports than other MMORPGs, but still not at pro eSports level regarding PvP. This is partly due to unfavorable balance in relation to PvE and gameplay mechanics such as spammable CC effects.
An online role-playing game that has even made a name for itself as an eSports giant in the eSports wonderland of South Korea is NCSoft’s Blade & Soul, which plays more like a fighter than an MMORPG in PvP.
What do you think about the ESL ending of Guild Wars 2? Sad or actually long overdue? Let us know in the comments!
Marvel Heroes is ideal as an action MMO for consoles PS4 and Xbox One, but was previously exclusive to the PC and Nvidia Shield. Now the superhero brawler is set to be released under the name “Marvel Heroes Omega” for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A beta is also planned.
Marvel Heroes, the action online RPG from Gazillion Entertainment in the Marvel universe, was previously only available for PC. Those who wanted to game comfortably from the couch with a gamepad had to either connect their PC to the TV or play via the Nvidia Shield streaming box.
Nevertheless, there have always been rumors about a port of Marvel Heroes to consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. These were confirmed today!

Marvel Heroes Omega – Restart on PlayStation this Spring!
Under the new name “Marvel Heroes Omega”, the superhero action online RPG is set to be released on PlayStation 4 this Spring. A version for Xbox One is also planned but will be released at a later unspecified date.
However, those expecting the multitude of heroes from the PC version will be somewhat disappointed. From the recently added playable character roster of 62 with Nick Fury, only 38 will initially be available on PlayStation 4.
With this reduced starting lineup, the developers want to ensure that the launch on the console goes as smoothly as possible. However, there will be regular updates, which will soon bring the console version in line with the PC version.
Marvel Heroes Omega – Cross-Platform Play, Character Transfers, and Beta
The porting of Marvel Heroes to consoles would be a great opportunity for widely popular cross-platform play between consoles and PC. Unfortunately, the developers have already ruled this out in a Q&A session.
There will be neither cross-platform play nor character transfers from the PC version to the console.
“Very soon” a beta testing phase is also set to begin, where you can join with founder packages. This will be available for purchase at a later time in the PlayStation Store.
Marvel Heroes is like a Diablo with more MMO elements and Marvel superheroes
Marvel Heroes plays similarly to a modern Diablo with stronger MMO elements. No wonder. Marvel Heroes was designed by David Brevik, who is the father of the Diablo franchise. Brevik, however, left Marvel Heroes in 2016.
Cloud Pirates, the steampunk airship tactics shooter from My.com, will be released as a free-to-play game this April. Finally, all airship fans can dive into wild aerial battles.
Cloud Pirates is currently in beta and can only be played through founder packs. However, the air combat MMO with flying pirate ships will officially release as a free-to-play game soon.
In addition to the free-to-play feature, there are more new features coming, as patch 1.3 “Stronghold” will also arrive, bringing new team options and fortresses.

Cloud Pirates – Free-to-Play Launch and Update 1.3 Stronghold
The launch of Cloud Pirates and patch 1.3 will take place on April 19, 2017. From then on, Cloud Pirates will be playable for all registered players for free. Update 1.3 will bring even more cool features:
3-player teams: After teams of three players have been disabled for a long time, they are finally returning with the launch of Cloud Pirates!
League System: Your rank as a player will now be classified into one of six leagues, from the novice league to the elite league. This will also affect matchmaking.
Brotherhood Fortresses: For the resources you collect in convoy missions, you can build a fortress if you are a member of a brotherhood. This will cost a hefty 75,000 resource chunks and can be further expanded afterwards.
Fortress Sieges: You can attack or defend fortresses in a special new game mode (if they are yours). This is only available at certain times on specific days and rewards players with special loot. Players who are not in a brotherhood can also play this mode on a special stronghold map.
Combat Adjustments: From rank 2, you can still adjust your airships after the battle starts. However, this will cost a lot of gold and can only be done while waiting for the game to start or respawn. For this purpose, you can set up to three loadouts before the fight.
We will reveal to you where to find the treasure for “Treasure Hunt at the Tomb” in WoW.
Almost every day a new quest is unlocked in World of Warcraft. After the Legion invasions have already started this morning and the demons are attacking the first areas on the Broken Isles, new tasks are also arriving at the Broken Shore.
The overly eager Goblin lady near the Legion judges’ base is still on the trail of a “great treasure” and sends players this time to the “Treasure Hunt at the Tomb”. The goal is – as in previous quests – to locate a treasure so that its power serves not the Legion, but the mortal races of Azeroth.
As the quest name suggests, the treasure this time is located near the tomb of Sargeras – an area full of elite enemies. Those who venture there alone and do not know what to look for will quickly meet their demise.
WoW: Treasure Hunt at the Tomb Location
To reach the desired chest, you best take the northern flight point at the Broken Shore and ride from there towards the tomb. Ride directly to the (currently impassable) raid entrance and then follow the building counterclockwise until you reach the northeast of the marked quest area.
There, the usual Wyrmscale stands in front of the locked chest, very close to the building itself. If you are in a group, you will need to take down a few Felguards to reach the chest. If you only pull single demons, you can handle them solo. Rogues, Druids, and Mages can bypass the problem using stealth or invisibility.
Afterwards, take your whistle (or hearthstone) and return to the Goblin lady, who will reward you with the “Potion of Potion Drinking”. In the coming days, she will surely have more quests for you, as you have still not brought in the big find.
Catch 20 Water-type Pokémon or spin at 15 PokéStops – Such quests could make Pokémon GO significantly better and bring variety to the gameplay.
Since the release in summer 2016, quite a bit has changed in Pokémon GO. The game started with a huge hype, attracting millions of players who dove into the adventures of a Pokémon Trainer.
After the launch, the developers created several features aimed at improving Pokémon GO. This includes events for Halloween, Christmasand the Valentine’s Day, which are always well received by the community. However, the boring time between events is a problem that many trainers complain about.
In the community, there are many suggestions on how to make the game more interesting. One of these suggestions was for quests that operate based on daily or weekly rewards.
Note: The following are ideas from players in the Pokémon community on how to make Pokémon GO more interesting. There are no specific indications from Niantic that challenges or quests in this form will be incorporated into the game.
There is nothing to do in Pokémon GO
For the past few months, new events have been regularly appearing in Pokémon GO. During these special events, trainers receive double experience points, candy rewards, or, as recently seen at the Water Festival, a higher chance of encountering Pokémon of a certain type. These events are free and consistently provide a welcome change for players. During the Water Festival, trainers were so motivated that they caught a total of over 589 million Magikarp.
Trainers may become bored when these events are over and the daily routine in Pokémon GO resumes. As a “normal” player, you log into the game daily, visit at least one PokéStop, spin it, and catch at least one Pokémon. This grants you a daily bonus, which consists of additional experience points and stardust.
If you complete these daily catches and PokéStop visits for an entire week, then the reward after seven days is even greater, providing you with one of the coveted evolution items.
The fact that the developers activated the daily and weekly rewards in Pokémon GO is a significant improvement for the game. However, this feature “alone” is not enough to keep players engaged with the game long-term. If you live in a city or near a PokéStop, it only takes a few minutes to claim the daily rewards.
Afterward, the waiting time for new events begins, which are supposed to bring more fun.
More quests and tasks for more variety
The daily and weekly tasks in Pokémon GO already provide a good foundation for further expanding the quest system in the game.
Daily challenges:
The daily challenges are currently already at a good level. To spice them up, the following tasks would be suitable:
“Spin five PokéStops in one day”
“Catch five Pokémon”
“Catch three Pokémon using curveballs”
Additionally, the developers could combine these tasks with items: “Catch three Pokémon attracted by incense” or “Catch seven Pokémon with ultra balls.” The reward would then be experience points and/or stardust.
Larger challenges:
The larger challenges would not involve catching and spinning PokéStops. Instead, they could focus on gym battles.
“Earn a spot in a gym”
“Defeat ten Water-type Pokémon in gyms”
“Win ten battles in the gym using a fire Pokémon”
The rewards for these challenges should, of course, be significantly larger. In addition to experience points and stardust, there could be items like incubators or clothing for avatars. With many options such as “Win against Water, Fire, Rock, Ground types, etc.”, there would always be variety. Additionally, players could be encouraged through these tasks to play with different Pokémon types other than their favorites: “You prefer to use your Vaporeon? Unfortunately, for this quest, you need a fire Pokémon.”
This would automatically enhance trainers’ skills and experiences with various Pokémon, thereby teaching them the game.
Quests for legendary Pokémon
So far, many players in the Pokémon GO community expect that legendary monsters will be activated with a major event in Pokémon GO. Currently, there are no further detailed indications from the developers.
The quest system could also be used in this area, activating tasks as prerequisites for the coveted monsters. Trainers would work through a kind of to-do list before being rewarded with the special Pokémon.
Catch 25 Fire/Water/Electric Pokémon
Spin 25 PokéStops
Defeat 100 Pokémon in gyms
Evolve 20 Pokémon in ten minutes
After you have completed these tasks within a specific time, the game could then offer you one of the legendary Pokémon.
Conclusion: Quests could significantly enhance gameplay fun
The quests mentioned above are just examples of how Pokémon GO could be improved. The rewards would need to be worked on to ensure there is a kind of “balance”. Of course, they wouldn’t solve all the problems that exist in the game. However, they could provide many trainers with an extra reason to log into the game rather than lying on the couch.
Perhaps the developers are already planning similar mechanics to improve the time between events and give trainers more reasons to log in.
Which quests would you like in Pokémon GO to motivate you to play, and what rewards should there be for them?
Hearthstone has its generosity on and gifts you a golden card. We reveal what you need to do for it.
Shortly before the release of the new expansion “The Journey to Un’Goro”, Blizzard is turning on the generosity and gifting players of the card game free rewards. Over the last few days, there have been packs of cards, Arcane Dust, or gold just for logging into the game. Today, on 04/05/2017, there is also a login reward: the golden Volcanosaur – the Volcanosaur.
The Volcanosaur as a login reward on 04/05.
To add him to your collection, you simply need to log into the game by midnight at the latest. If you do not receive the dinosaur immediately, it is because your game is not yet upgraded to the latest version. Make sure in the Battle.net launcher that the patch for “The Journey to Un’Goro” is already installed.
You can check in your settings whether patches for future versions of the game are to be downloaded already.
The Volcanosaur is a servant for 7 mana, possessing stats of 5/6. However, his battle cry allows him to mutate twice, which typically gives him enough stats for his cost. Mutating grants the dino additional effects like Divine Shield, increased stats, or even “poisonous”, to destroy servants with a single attack.
If you do not wish to own the golden Volcanosaur, logging in is still worthwhile: You can disenchant it for 100 Arcane Dust and craft other cards from the new expansion as soon as it goes live tomorrow.
Today, there was a new patch for GTA 5 Online. The update comes with version 1.23 / 1.39 and aims to fix issues with new sports cars.
The new update 1.23 for GTA 5 Online has been released today. For PS4, Xbox One, and PC, the patch is about 700MB in size (the size may vary depending on the platform). This update addresses the driving issue that some players noticed with the new sports cars. When players drove these cars through left turns, they quickly lost control of the vehicle. Although the problem was initially noticeable only with the Infernus Classic, other cars were also affected.
GTA 5 Online Version 1.23 / 1.39
On the support website of Rockstar Games, the issue with the cars was described by user adam10603. As many players have already experienced in the game, the Infernus Classic has problems in left turns. Due to the questionable driving behavior, players quickly lost control over the car.
The community did some further investigation and found that this issue occurs not only with the Infernus Classic but also with many other cars. These include:
811
Vigero
Pigalle
Mamba
Gauntlet and many more
The Infernus was a vehicle where this bug was particularly noticeable. Other vehicles also have the bug, but it was not as prominently displayed. The fact that so many cars are affected by the problem explains why today’s patch is over 700MB in total. In the following gif, you can see the problem with the Pigalle:

In the video by iTwister, you can see how pronounced this problem was with the Infernus Classic. Players had disadvantages with the car in many races.

In the new patch 7.7 for League of Legends, there are changes to popular junglers and supporters. We show you the most important changes.
The League of Legends team regularly tries to balance their MOBA. To do this, they need to strengthen or weaken various champions. In the latest patch 7.7, the team shows its love for champions that have been played less frequently recently. To this end, Amumu receives some changes, including a new passive ability. Changes to the bells that Bard can collect are also included. You can look forward to how LoL feels with these 5 new changes.
1. Amumu – New Passive with Absolute Damage
The sad mummy “Amumu” has been in League of Legends for a long time. Accordingly, the passive ability that reduced enemy magic resistance through normal attacks was somewhat outdated. To better support his team in the future, Amumu now receives the necessary tools for this job.
Passive – Cursed Touch
Amumu’s basic attacks reduce the magic resistance of enemies by 15/20/25 (at level 1/7/13) deal 15% of the total magic damage dealt to the target as absolute damage.
W – Despair
Damage: 8/12/16/20/24 per second 10/15/20/25/30 per second
Rate of hits: Once per second Once every half second (Each hit deals half damage)
New – Despair (W) now refreshes Cursed Touch (passive) on all enemies.
R – Curse of the Sad Mummy
Enemies hit are now additionally affected by Cursed Touch (passive) after the damage is dealt.
2. Buffs for Bard and Alistar – Comeback for the Rift?
These two support champions have had their ups and downs. Patch 7.7 is quite generous to both of them and gives them more power again. Alistar’s Triumphant Roar now heals not only the next ally but all nearby allies. This makes healing an even stronger factor in team fights. Additionally, the cooldown on his E ability (Trample) has been reduced.
Bard receives additional Meep damage credited at each bell level. Previously, there were various damage tiers that needed to be reached to increase the damage.
Bonus damage with empowered attack: 40 + 10 per level | Max 220 40 + 15 | Max 310 at level 18
Bard
Passive – Call of the Traveler
New – Let your Meeps grow: Meeps now gain 15 damage after every fifth bell (in addition to the normal bonuses).
Removed damage tiers – Each tier should now assist Bard better than before.
Bard can now have up to nine Meeps simultaneously if he has collected enough bells.
Tiers of 150 bells 105 bells onwards grant only additional damage
The full list of bell tiers can be found at the end of the article, where we link the patch notes
3. Nerfs, Nerfs, Nerfs – Galio Shaco and Co get hit by the Nerf Hammer
Many of the champions that have recently stood out due to their strength will now be weakened. Camille was previously considered a strong champion, especially during the laning phase. Changes now ensure that her W only heals champions and her ultimate ability lasts less time at the early ranks.
The new Galio was considered particularly “OP” after the rework and was a popular choice among well-known streamers like Dyrus. Now Galio’s passive is weakened and the zone damage of his Q tornado is reduced.
Shaco has stood out as particularly toxic in solo queue after his last changes. His changes include a new AP scaling with his passive ability and the removal of the base damage of his Q ability.
Changes to Graves, Rengar, and Talon can be summarized succinctly: Graves no longer receives increased magic resistance from E – Quick Draw and becomes more vulnerable to AP opponents. Rengar and Talon both deal slightly less damage with their Q abilities.
Camille
W – Tactical Sweep
Removed: Camille no longer heals up to 10% of her max health when hitting minions or monsters with the outer half of the ability.
R – Hextech Ultimatum
Duration: 4 seconds at all ranks 2.5/3.25/4 seconds
Galio
Passive – Demolishing Colossus
Damage: 15-100 at level 1-18 12-80 at level 1-18
Q – Winds of War
Initial rate of push: 0.6 AP 0.75 AP
Zone damage of the tornado: 9% of the target’s max health 6% of the target’s max health
Shaco
Passive – Deceit
New ability power scaling: 0.4 AP
Attack damage: 1.2 – 1.45 total attack damage at levels 1-11 1.3 total attack damage at all levels
Q – deceive
Removed: Base damage – No longer deals 20/35/50/65/80 base damage
Removed: Ability power scaling – No longer has a scaling of 0.4 AP
Cooldown: 14 seconds at all ranks 16/15.5/15/14.5/14 seconds
4. Changes to Raptors
The Raptors had been somewhat strong since the preseason update and were avoided by many junglers because they took too much damage there. As a balance change, the creatures receive more health and less damage.
Raptors
Base attack damage: 16 13.33
Health: 350 – 612.5 at levels 1-10 400-680 at levels 1-10
5. Skins and Game Mode Rotation
The new ARSR mode will be active from the weekend of April 7 at 21:00 (CET) to April 11 at 13:00 (CET) and from April 14 at 21:00 (CET) to April 18 at 13:00 (CET). We’ve explained what this mode is about here: The new ARSR mode may stay in LoL forever

What is the TOTW in FIFA 17?
Every Wednesday, EA Sports reveals the Team of the Week in their annual soccer simulation’s “Ultimate Team” mode. This is also the case in FIFA 17. Here, the players who stood out in real football over the past week are rewarded with special cards that have improved attributes.
You can draw the TOTW cards within a week from those sets that may contain Rare (Gold) players. However, the chance is considered low. Additionally, it is possible for you to buy them on the transfer market when offered by other players. The prices, however, are usually extremely high.
