Warframe: Operation Ambulas Reborn – Corpus wants Grofit!
The villain of the week this time is Frohd Bek, the chairman of the greedy and utterly immoral Corpus corporation. In a bizarre promotional video to investors, Bek promotes Corpus’s latest creation, the Ambulas mech.
This killing machine is equipped with the latest data and processors, making it dangerous even to the Tenno with its advanced weapons and Warframe armor. Therefore, Corpus expects a lot of “Grofit” from Ambulas.
Warframe: Operation Ambulas Reborn – Destroy Corpus toys!
New killer machines are certainly not good for your Tenno, so with Operation: Ambulas Reborn, you are tasked with finding and destroying the factory of the Ambulas mechs on Pluto. This way, you stop the threat and ruin the Grofit! To find the Ambulas factory, you need to take the following steps:
Raid Corpus bases on planets (not ships).
New Condor dropships that drop Ambulas mechs often come there.
Shoot or smash them. After that, you can hack the processors and collect “Amino Beacons”.
If you have enough of them, you can find and wreak havoc at the Ambulas production facilities on Pluto. That’s it for the Grofit.

In addition to the loot from the event, you can also exchange surplus Amino Beacons for more goodies, including new mods or badges.

Black Desert Online is receiving more and more content. Therefore, a new class, a major graphics update, new regions, and airships are coming soon!
Black Desert Online takes place in a gigantic, vibrant world that becomes even more gigantic and vibrant with each update. After the new Striker class, another heroine is supposed to arrive soon, flying ships are planned, and the graphics update is also on the way. Black Desert: New heroine will not be a female Striker – coming in winter
After the dark Dark Blade, the next hero type in Black Desert Online will be the martial arts fighter Striker. But Pearl Abyss has already the next playable character in the pipeline. This will be a female hero.
Now we know: It is a completely new heroine, not a female version of the Striker.
Fans of Kung-Fu Amazons will be disappointed. However, Pearl Abyss did not want to reveal more about the new heroine, only a silhouette with a red thread as an accessory was shown, which may indicate a support or wizard class.
The new character should be ready for the Korea release in winter.
Black Desert Online: “We want to create a vibrant world”
Seasonal events contribute to this, such as snowfall in winter or blooming tulips in spring. And that’s not the end, there are still big plans for BDO.
Part of the new technologies will be tested by the developers in the upcoming update “Kamasylvia II” in Korea. Among the new features will be airships that will circle the sky on fixed paths. However, personal flying devices for self-steering are not planned yet. Possibly the developers want to implement this feature later. But nothing is concrete here.
However, there will be a unicorn mount that will be very difficult to obtain. But the animal is supposed to have special powers, which should be worth the effort.
Black Desert Online: Rebalance between awakened and non-awakened heroes
Also on Pearl Abyss’s agenda: A rebalancing of the heroes between the awakened and non-awakened versions. The skills before the awakening are still not optimally balanced. Therefore, the developers want to improve this in the future.
Even a killer in Dead by Daylight can be scared – this match was true horror for the Trapper.
In Dead by Daylight, the game actually plays out just like you would expect from an average horror movie. The killer approaches the group of survivors, and they panic and run in all directions. After all, the killer is powerful, and the survivors are merely victims – right?
Well, it can also go differently. In a particularly absurd match of Dead by Daylight, YouTuber Darkwraith Turk was playing as the Trapper and had found his opponents. All survivors were playing as Dwight in notably red clothing. But instead of fleeing from the killer, they turned towards him and began a strange ritual.
The killer loses his mind
After a short time, the killer gets fed up and is the one who flees – only to return later. This time he found his victims at a generator. Again, the Dwight players did not flee; instead, they simply turned to him and stared at him endlessly. Even the names of the players quickly revealed that something mysterious was going on – after all, there were 3 cultists and the cult leader. You can watch how the whole match unfolded in this video.

This was definitely a match that you wouldn’t expect in Dead by Daylight. And apparently, everyone involved had a lot of fun – except for the killer, who probably doubts his sanity.
Whether four players were just playing a prank and wanted to troll a killer in a particularly amusing way or if it was a fake where the killer was actually in on it, is probably hard to say in hindsight. But to quote my favorite cabaret artist: “If it isn’t true, then it’s at least very well thought out.”
Since this incident, several players have been imitating the “Cult of Dwight” – rarely does one achieve the true creepiness of this video.
In The Division, there is a really strong item available this week. Agents with skill builds should take advantage of this.
Builds that focus entirely on skill power and electronics are popular these days and frequently encountered. Especially in combination with the Seeker Mine, they dominate in PvE and PvP – much to the frustration of those using other character setups, who dismiss the Seeker Mine as “noob tactic”.
But even without “Seeker Mines”, skill builds are in demand – as supporters, as healers, especially with the Tactician or the Reclaimer gear sets. This week, you can acquire an item that can significantly improve many skill builds.
An almost perfect energetic armor vest
We mentioned it in our vendor reset article this week: An energetic armor vest available for purchase in the safe room of DZ08. This item is now highly praised in the Reddit forum, considered a “must have” for skill builds. What makes it so special?
An energetic armor vest is particularly interesting for healers: The talent allows all healing skills to overheal.
Additionally, this special vest, which costs 277,440 DZ currency, provides you with:
1270 electronics (almost maximum!),
1919 armor (also quite high),
8% skill haste (important bonus for skill builds),
5% enemy armor damage
and 51% ammunition capacity.
You can reroll the enemy armor damage and replace it with health points, and then you will have an outstanding armor vest for your build. An item with better stats is hard to find. Don’t miss out on it.
Is there anything else for my skill build this week?
If you now want to build a Reclaimer build with this vest, you can head directly to the terminal to the special equipment vendor. There, you’ll find a Reclaimer backpack with armor and electronics values that are close to maximum. It also has health points. A strong offer as well.
If you’ve only heard about these strong skill builds but have never had one yourself, you can start this week with two really strong items. They are available until the night from Friday to Saturday.
The upcoming SF-MMO shooter Destiny 2 is set to receive features tailored specifically for PC. What could that possibly mean in Xur’s name?
We are currently in the fun phase where we receive no information, only marketing promises about Destiny 2 to drive up pre-sales even higher. And they are already gigantic.
We wondered what could be behind this and present you with some possibilities.
Finding groups in Destiny 2 should happen “in-game,” not on Facebook – Chat would be nice
Destiny 1 mainly relied on Facebook groups and specific websites to clarify “finding groups ” in the game. Groups for 3-player instances could be found through automatic matchmaking, but for raids or the elite PvP, the Trials of Osiris, you had to rely on outside help.
Bungie has said: Yes, that’s intended. We want well-coordinated teams to go in, preferably with voice chat.
However, it is suspected that reasons such as: “We don’t want to overload the console interface” might apply.
On PC, a “group search tool” along with a proper in-game chat would be standard. One should be able to find groups for all activities in-game, not just for some.
That would be a “tailored” and “significant” feature for the PC version.
Players want to customize Destiny 2 to their needs – Field-of-View slider, Aim Assist, and more
A typical thing that PC gamers are used to is, tailoring the gaming experience to their needs.
For console gamers, the game is standardized, while PC allows the game to be adjusted to personal preferences. This includes being able to adjust the resolution and the detail level of the graphics.
Some wish for settings for the “Field of View” or want to determine themselves where, for example, the crosshair is located.
There could also be settings for gameplay, such as whether the “aim assist” in Destiny 2 is activated or not.
A step further would be “interface modifications” and “tools”. In PC MMOs like World of Warcraft, this is a huge deal with damage meters, boss helpers, and much more.
If Destiny 2 were customizable on PC in as many ways as possible, it would certainly also be a “tailored and significant feature.”
That would be a feature that would truly be “significant” and with which Activision could gather many points in advance. Whether it will actually come is written in the stars. Perhaps we will receive our first answers on May 18. Here is a gameplay reveal for Destiny 2 scheduled.

The classic sandbox MMORPG Darkfall is back. Darkfall: Rise of Agon aims to lead the online game into the future.
The servers of the MMORPG Darkfall opened in 2009. The developer studio Aventurine wanted to push the genre forward in a direction that hardcore fans of the genre desired. In the sandbox, there were no major rules, open PvP, and generally, every step you took in the game world was dangerous. You couldn’t trust anyone, yet that created a certain allure. However, it wasn’t for a large number of players, as the servers for the MMORPG were closed again in 2012.
Darkfall is back!
But the fans didn’t give up and wished for a rebirth. Aventurine eventually sold the license to the game to two indie developers, who independently developed two Darkfall MMOs that were to evolve in somewhat different directions. Darkfall: Rise of Agon is one of these projects and officially launched on May 5. It welcomes not only all fans of the original but also all MMO players seeking a classic gaming experience like that of the early days of the genre.
The launch was well-received. On the first day, around 5,000 unique users logged into the server, which briefly went down under the load. However, a quickly released patch fixed this issue. Currently, the operators report about 2,000 concurrently active players.
The team is now focusing on finding bugs and optimizing the player experience. Once that is done, new content will be integrated. This is expected to include new quests, monsters, and much more.
A classic MMORPG
Darkfall: Rise of Agon offers a classic MMORPG experience. The focus is not on quests, although there are some in the game. Rather, each player should write their own story in the world and not be restricted in how they proceed.
There are no classes. You develop your hero based on skills according to your ideas. The economy in the game is driven by the players, which is why crafting plays an important role. And if you are not careful, you can lose all your equipment in battle – unless you deposit everything in a bank. Deep dungeons, ship battles, housing, and more are also part of the game.
Visually, Darkfall: Rise of Agon appears quite outdated, which shouldn’t surprise anyone since the game uses the same engine that was also used in the original from 2009. If you want to experience a classic MMORPG with open PvP and many dangers, you can get Darkfall: Rise of Agon. The game uses a subscription model, with 30 days of gameplay costing 9.99 euros.

In Marvel Heroes, to celebrate the release of Guardians of the Galaxy 2, there is a promotion called Cosmic Chaos. In this event, heroes from the new Marvel movie level up faster and there are new costumes for them on PS4 and PC.
Last week, the new installment of Marvel’s space superhero fun, Guardians of the Galaxy, was released. Anyone familiar with the comics and film adaptations of various Marvel heroes knows that they often look very different on paper than they do on screen. This is no different with the Guardians of the Galaxy, which is why Rocket Raccoon and Star Lord each receive a new skin inspired by their current look from the movie.
The fierce raccoon even gets Baby Groot as an additional feature with his costume. The remaining Guardians, Drax and Gamora, are only available as team-ups, but they also have new costumes. Marvel Heroes – Cosmic Chaos – More XP for the Guardians

Using your ultimate at the right moment is an immensely satisfying experience. But when you can also deactivate an enemy ultimate in the process, it becomes even better. This happened to the Roadhog player Massev, who interrupted not just one or two enemy ultimates, but a whopping 4 of them – all within a span of 10 seconds in the “Play of the Game.” Soldier: 76, Roadhog, Genji, and even McCree all fall short and get rolled over by our big guy.

Our last clip is not a true “Play of the Game,” but it clearly shows what distinguishes a good player from a great one. Jrbourne demonstrates with Mei how creatively and effectively the ice wall can be used – completely different from what one usually knows. After the opposing Winston tries to mitigate the Blizzard with his bubble, Mei quickly lifts him and his colleague McCree with a wall out of the safe zone – perfectly set up for a finish.

The reputation gathering goes particularly fast in World of Warcraft this week. Reputation farmers should not miss out on the buff from the Darkmoon Faire.
Most players have likely completed the requirements for flying by now. The only obstacle is probably the remaining reputation with the Legion judges, depending on personal motivation. Those who do not enjoy World Quests may still be missing a few thousand points on their reputation account in order to finally reach the revered reputation.
But those who are smart and want to save time should complete the necessary quests this week. Since yesterday (05/07/2017), the Darkmoon Faire is active again. This primarily means that all players can again pick up a buff from the Faire island. You can get this at the Children’s Carousel – buy a ticket and ride around to build up the buff. You can enter the Faire itself through portals in Mulgore or the Forest of Elwynn. Representatives of the Faire can also teleport you from Stormwind and Orgrimmar to the portal location.
Complete all quests for the Legion judges to benefit from the 10% additional reputation points. This applies not only to World Quests but also to the “big” weekly quests that give 1500 reputation points. 150 additional reputation points are a lot, equivalent to completing 2 more World Quests.
Of course, the buff works not only for the Legion judges but also for all other reputation factions. This is particularly valuable when working towards the various Paragon rewards that the different factions of the Broken Isles have to offer.
The Darkmoon Faire has been active since Sunday, 05/07/2017. You can still pick up the buff until 05/13.
A group of transgender women was prevented from participating in an online gaming tournament for CS:GO. Precautions against male trolls keep them out.
On April 30, an ESL tournament for CS:GO was held. It was hosted by “Munich Finest Gaming” in Germany. The tournament was called “Female Open” and was accessible only to women.
Transgender women believe they do not look “female enough” in photos
A group of transgender women wanted to participate in the tournament but were denied. They received an email stating: “No men are allowed. Faking gender may result in punishment.”
The team has contacted a major US site to voice their frustration.
The Italian player feels hurt by the rejection. To the US site, Rigilio claims that she has been a gamer since she was 10 years old. Gaming has always been an important support for her. As a transgender woman, she has struggled to be accepted in the community. This changed when she met a group of transgender girls.
The rejection hits her hard now. She was on the verge of tears. She thought the team finally had the opportunity to shine, but the gaming world revealed its true face through the rejection. From her perspective, they were denied because the women in the team did not look “female” enough.
In Germany, identification determines what gender you have
This is a tricky situation. Because “Munich Finest Gaming” states: We have issues with men signing up for the tournament to troll us. If we are unsure about the gender of the people who sign up, we ask for ID. If “male” is stated on the ID, then our hands are tied.
The spokesperson for ESL supports them in this matter: This is also in accordance with German laws. The official gender of a person is determined by their ID.
Rigilio struggles with these statements. For her, gender is not determined by an ID, there is more to it. Some girls on the team have already started hormone replacement therapy, for others it is still quite new to express themselves as women. Therefore, some still need to make the effort to change their gender on their IDs.
At ESL, they seem to have an understanding of this situation. They also do not believe that the team of transgender women intended to troll them, but they have implemented a system to verify identities and are applying it now to protect the integrity of the tournament.
CS:GO is one of the online games with the largest player base. Here, societal conflicts around issues of discrimination, racism, or sexism repeatedly manifest in practice.
What does Niantic CEO John Hanke envision for the AR future of Pokémon GO? He believes the monsters can feel like “pets” to you.
Augmented reality technology is constantly evolving, but the prices for AR glasses are relatively high. During an event in California, guests like John Hanke from Niantic discussed a potential AR future. The high acquisition cost is a barrier that prevents many potential customers from purchasing. If this price could be lowered, there would be a much larger market for these glasses.
Hanke can easily imagine a theoretical Pokémon GO 10 with advanced technology: “The little monsters would feel really real to you.”
AR Glasses for the Masses – Pricing Issues
Augmented reality technology allows developers to visually integrate content into the real world without obstructing users’ vision. This is done in Pokémon GO with the help of the AR camera. Instead of smartphones, there are also special glasses for this technology. Customers quickly hesitate when they see the prices of high-end models. Ralph Osterhout sells high-end AR glasses, such as the “R7.” These glasses cost $2700. That’s steep.
John Hanke believes that a common price for AR glasses should be significantly lower to reach the mainstream: “If Ralph [Osterhout] could develop a $200 glasses that can do what the latest version of his glasses can […], I believe game designers could create incredible experiences.”
He adds that one should not wait for the ultimate piece of hardware. The devices can also work well within your technical limitations and operate within hardware boundaries.

Optimistic View into the Pokémon GO Future
At the end of the event, John Hanke was asked how he could envision a theoretical Pokémon GO 10 with advanced AR technology.
And the Niantic CEO has positive visions: “I believe the little monsters would feel really real to you. They would be with you. I even think you could become friends with them. Your children would keep them in the house, and it would be like they were pets. On the way there, we will have a lot of fun.”
Patrick says: The AR technology continues to play a significant role in John Hanke’s visions and is intended to merge the Pokémon even more with reality. A lower price for these AR glasses would give many more trainers the opportunity to at least try this technology and find out if they enjoy it. With glasses costing well over €1000, such a “trial” is too expensive for many and ends up with this technology being “only” tested at trade shows and not at home.

En Masse, the publisher of TERA in North America, aims to expand its repertoire of Korean MMOs. En Masse has secured the rights to “Kritika Online.” This is a fast-paced anime MMO from South Korea that emphasizes combos and action. It features a cel-shaded look.
Kritika Online is no longer a truly “new” MMO, as it was released in South Korea in 2013, but it is only now coming to Europe and North America. We reported on the registrations for a closed beta. Now it has a launch date.
When does the beta start and when does it end?
The closed beta of Kritika Online in the West starts on May 24 and will run until June 13.

The Center has received a massive update, in which the ocean has been significantly expanded. The volcano in the Center was previously dormant. With the patch, the volcano has been transformed into a treacherous cave. Furthermore, the level cap has been lowered and the engram tree adjusted.

Especially exciting are always the new dinos in Ark Survival Evolved. Here we have an overview of the new dinos and reveal what they can do.
Giant Bee: Tame the queen and farm honey
The Giant Bee is an aggressive and powerful bee that you can find in nests. The queen can be tamed and provides you with sweet honey that you can use on other creatures.
If you have tamed a bee queen, you can place nests at your base and farm honey.
If you find a nest in the wild, you must destroy it to reach the queen. This makes the bees angry and they will attack you.
Approach the bees only with insect repellent or a ghillie suit – this wards off the bees.
If you have tamed a queen, you can convert her into a new nest and farm honey.
Honey is useful for: attracting creatures, calming Leedsichthys, and taming the Liopleurodon.
Rare flowers enhance the nest
Taming the Giant Queen Bee: The bee prefers Ichthyornis Kibble (1 Rare Flower, 1 Savoroot, 2 Mejoberries, 3 Fiber). Rare flowers also work.
Daeodon: The hell pig is highly aggressive – a real fighting machine
The Daeodon is a true fighting machine and highly aggressive. It is constantly searching for food and eats meat and plants.
The Daeodon heals itself in combat.
With a special aura, the Daeodon heals itself, making it useful in combat.
This aura ensures that the Daeodon consumes food extremely quickly
If survivors approach the hell pig, it will immediately attack.

Taming the Liopleurodon: The Liopleurodon can only be tamed for 30 minutes. It prefers the honey from the “Giant Bee”. After 30 minutes, the Liopleurodon will disappear.
