The E3 2017, the most important gaming fair in the world, is approaching. This weekend, the first press conferences will start, where publishers and game developers will present their latest hardware products and games.
The E3 takes place in Los Angeles – but you can also join live here in Germany!
Our colleagues from GameStar are on-site at E3 and will be streaming live every day from June 10 to 15. They will show the important press conferences, host pre-shows, where they provide background information and speculation about the highlights of E3, and analyze the content afterwards in an after-show.

This E3 spectacle from GameStar is under the hashtag #E3daheim. The colleagues on-site are Heiko Klinge, Johannes Rohe, Rae Grimm, Alex Beck, and moderator Julius Busch, who will provide you with the first impressions. The brutal team-based first-person shooter “LawBreakers” will be released in August for PS4 and PC. You can try the game in the open beta.
LawBreakers is a different kind of first-person shooter that will enter an open beta phase in just a few days. During E3, Cliff Bleszinski stated that his game now has a set price and a release date that fans can look forward to.
LawBreakers takes place in a futuristic world where the moon exploded. Gravity will not hinder you in difficult maneuvers anymore.

The original plan was for the game to be free to play. The team has since abandoned this plan and agreed on a mid-range price. LawBreakers will be released on August 8 for PlayStation 4 and PC, and is priced at $29.99. Cliff Bleszinski added, “Not the typical $60 multiplayer-only bullshit“
There will also be no season pass or pay-to-win content. The developers want to achieve the best results for players and for the game.
With a price of about $30, the shooter is a bit cheaper than a potential competitor in this hero shooter genre: The base version of Blizzard’s Overwatch currently costs €39.99. There are still parallels, as LawBreakers uses a similar loot box system as Overwatch.
While waiting for the release, you can participate in test phases of the game. A closed beta starts on June 28. The open beta for LawBreakers begins on June 30, where you can thoroughly try out the game.
No new information has been provided regarding a release for Xbox One. The latest development update states that there are currently no plans for it, but development for Xbox One cannot be ruled out.
The Dino MMO ARK Survival Evolved has just announced its release date. That’s not too far away. On launch day, ARK will receive its endgame. Additionally, two expansions are planned.

2 Expansions and the Endgame are Coming
Important for ARK: Development will continue after release. They are withholding content for the time after the release: the endgame gameplay content. On day one at release, an update will bring the endgame of ARK. So far, nothing has been shown. There have been only hints so far.
After the release, two additional expansions for ARK Survival Evolved are expected, similar in size to “Scorched Earth”, the currently only expansion.
Mod Ragnarok is the First Sponsored Mod
Additionally, the mod Ragnarok is being released as an official sponsored mod for ARK Survival Evolved. It’s free. Ragnarok is already available on Steam for PC. The expansion is expected to come for PS4 and Xbox One on July 4.

It’s time: The E3 2017 starts this weekend with the first press conferences. Major publishers and game developers will showcase their latest hardware and software products – aiming to whet the appetite of gamers from all over the world.
The E3 is the world’s most significant gaming fair. In 2017, it takes place from June 13 to June 15 at the “Los Angeles Convention Center”. However, the press conferences will be held in the days leading up to it, often staged as large-scale shows. A celebration for all gamers!
All Dates for the Livestreams of the E3 2017 Press Conferences
If you are not on site, you can watch the press conferences and game highlights in Germany via livestream. Here are the important dates for E3 2017 at a glance.
Game Highlights: From Electronic Arts, who are holding their “EA Play” event in the run-up to E3, we expect quite a bit this year. There will be information on Star Wars Battlefront 2 and FIFA 18. In addition to more sports games, we can look forward to information on Need for Speed Payback and Battlefield 1. We are also curious if there will be first footage of “Dylan“. It is said to be a hefty “semi-MMO” – similar to Destiny or The Division.

Game Highlights: After the PS4 Pro was released just last year, hardware announcements this year are rather unlikely. Sony will focus entirely on upcoming games for the PlayStation, including Days Gone, Detroit: Become Human, God of War, Gran Turismo Sport, and maybe even one or the other “Naughty Dog” game. We also expect to see the presence of Destiny 2, Call of Duty WW2, and perhaps even Red Dead Redemption 2.

Game Highlights: Nintendo is hosting a “Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017”. Immediately afterwards, the “Nintendo Treehouse: Live at E3” event will take place. Super Mario Odyssey and the recently announced Pokémon Tekken DX for the Switch will be showcasing.

The performance on PC systems is expected to be particularly good for Destiny 2. The multi-core support is expected to improve performance.
When Destiny 2 was officially confirmed for PC systems, the hearts of many fans soared. There is especially reason to rejoice in the performance area, as the game is expected to show a lot of power on the PC platform. Unlimited framerates harmonize with powerful computer systems.
Another important feature was announced at E3: multi-core support.
Destiny 2 utilizes all processor cores that your PC has
During E3 2017, Destiny 2 streamer TeftyTeft attended the PC Gaming Show. There, as an expert for the game, he explained that the performance on PC is “amazing”. He assured the audience that the port from console to PC works well and the experience on the computer is incredible.

The information about multi-core support was received by Tefty directly from Bungie. The game’s engine will be optimized for PC systems such that Destiny 2will utilize all cores in your processors. This feature is definitely worth mentioning, as many games do not yet take advantage of this performance potential but limit themselves to 1-2 CPU cores for their computing power.
The multi-core support distributes this power consumption across additional sources that are evenly loaded and from which more power can be drawn.
Since Destiny 2 utilizes all CPU cores and offers unlimited framerates, players with powerful systems will benefit. So, for example, those who opted for an AMD Ryzen or another system with many cores have advantages over players whose processors have fewer cores.
Whether it really all works this well will remain to be seen. After all, Destiny originally comes from consoles and is now also expected to impress on PC.
The battle royale shooter PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is getting exciting new features. Soon players will be able to vault over obstacles and through windows. Additionally, changing weather and a new weapon, the OTS Groza, will be introduced.
Everyone wants a piece of Brendan Greene. He is the PlayerUnknown, although many people know him now.
His battle royale shooter PUBG is a hit on Steam, and Greene is making the big press rounds. There’s hardly an event without the rising star. Yesterday he was at Microsoft, to announce the port of his game for Xbox One, and this evening he will stop by the PC Gaming Show to showcase new features for the ongoing PC version of his game.
PUBG is still in Early Access and constantly receiving new features. The new ones are expected “soon”.

Players will soon be able to vault over objects like action heroes in movies, such as cars or walls. Players will also be able to vault through windows. The animation will adapt to the height of the obstacle.

Russian Bullpup rifle comes to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

The Elder Scrolls Online Build – The Warden as a Magicka Damage Dealer
The Warden is suitable for all three roles in ESO: Tank, DD, and Healer. Here you first find a damage build that focuses entirely on the Warden’s magic and uses Magicka. It is particularly well-suited for dungeons and raids.
Race: Altmer – The High Elves have a bonus to Magicka, which is great for a build based on spells. However, if you prefer, you can also be a Dark Elf or even a Breton. They all receive significant Magicka bonuses too.
Armor: You use only light armor because of the Magicka bonus.
Weapons: You use a destruction staff in both slots.
Equipment Bonuses: You use the “Divines” trait to maximize your Mundus Stone effect. For glyphs, you use Magicka glyphs.

The Elder Scrolls Online Build – The Warden as a Stamina Damage Dealer
This Warden isn’t into hocus pocus. Therefore, he prefers to rely on his stamina and converts some of his magic skills into stamina skills. This Warden is an ideal DPS cannon for all dungeons and raids.

These icons were introduced in FUT 18 a week ago. They are former top players who shaped world football. They are no longer active as professionals.
From FIFA 14 to FIFA 17, they were exclusively available as “Legends” on Xbox.
Now many former football legends are coming as icons on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Last week, Ronaldo Nazário was presented as the first icon. Today, on June 12th, four more were revealed:

Ghaul, the commander of the Cabal’s Red Legion, attacks Earth. He destroys the Tower and occupies the Last City.
Ghaul wants to claim the power of the Traveler for himself, which is why he traps it in a kind of cage.
As a result, the Guardians lose their powers. They are separated from the light of the Traveler and must flee.
Now it is up to you to regain the powers and reclaim your home. To do so, you must travel to alien worlds and reunite the scattered Vanguard.
In an interview with Gameinformer, game director Luke Smith and project lead Mark Noseworthy talk about the story of Destiny and what aspects are the focus. They also reveal: To the question of who or what the darkness is, there will be no answer in Destiny 2.

In Destiny 2 you will learn more about the light
According to Smith, Destiny 2 is a game about light. You will learn what happens when it is taken from the Guardians, and what the Guardians will do to get it back.
You will discover the relationship between the player and their Ghost and the relationship between Ghaul and the light, which he desires.
Much else that has nothing to do with it has been cut for the release of Destiny 2. Luke Smith cites as an example “the darkness”.
In Destiny 1, the darkness was mentioned from the very beginning. It is said to be an ancient, powerful foe of the Traveler, who pursued it through the cosmos. Who or what the darkness actually is, however, remains completely unknown. These are the “big questions” in Destiny – what the darkness and the Traveler are about.
And Smith is also aware of this. He reveals in the interview: “We have never really said what the darkness means. Ultimately, we owe our players a story regarding this – what is the darkness? – but this will not be in this game.” So there is no answer to this question in Destiny 2 – but at some point in the future.
Instead, the focus should be on the light. You are to discover your identity as a Guardian and your connection to the light. And what it means to be chosen by the Traveler.
By the way: The gameplay reveal event began with a trailer in which Zavala specifically dealt with these questions: What makes a Guardian a Guardian?
Cabal have nothing to do with the darkness
The darkness is thus not the great threat in Destiny 2. Instead, the danger comes in the form of the alien race, the Cabal. Noseworthy provided information that will especially interest lore-enthusiast Guardians.
“The Cabal have nothing to do with the darkness.” They do not come from the darkness and do not represent it. The Hive are closest to the darkness, as they worship it. But one can also worship something with which one has nothing to do.
The main villain in Destiny 2 is Ghaul. For reasons yet unknown, he believes that the Traveler should have chosen him. The power of light belongs to the Cabal, not to humans. Therefore, he wants to eliminate humanity and the Guardians to show the Traveler how wrong he was.
In several cutscenes in Destiny 2, players will receive background information about Ghaul. One important character here is Ghaul’s mentor, known as “Consul”. The Consul is considered the voice that guides Ghaul’s strength. He is like a coach on the sidelines, Noseworthy says. The Consul is said to have persuaded Ghaul a long time ago to stage a military coup, in which the previous Kabal Emperor named Calus was deposed and exiled.
The Consul seems to be a figure who holds the strings behind the scenes.
At the end of the interview, Smith emphasizes that the content in Destiny 2 will sometimes appear dark and hopeless, but Destiny is a franchise where it is always about hope.
In the fast-paced shooter Quake Champions, you will soon be able to play as a well-known character from Wolfenstein. A huge tournament is waiting at QuakeCon.
During Bethesda’s press conference at the E3 event, new information was revealed about the fast-paced shooter Quake Champions. The game was presented as a major eSports title that will soon showcase its potential in a big tournament.
Additionally, the character BJ Blazkowicz, whom many of you probably remember from Wolfenstein, is now available in the game’s beta.

The open world is large. There is much to explore. It is the first time that BioWare can create such a world themselves.
The settlement we saw in the video is Fort Tarsus, a social hub. Here, players can customize their Javelin exo-suits and take on quests.
Players are supposed to play Anthem the way they want: with their friends or alone. The experience should be seamless. Players can complete Anthem entirely solo.
Humanity is at the Bottom of the Food Chain in Anthem
As opponents, there are wild, terrifying creatures, but also other humans in exo-suits.
Warner avoids the question of whether there will be PvP.
Humanity is far down the food chain in this world – that’s why people only dare to go outside in their combat suits in order to have a chance to prevail.
A focus of the game is how players customize their exo-suits. The game director says there are a lot of weapons in the game.
BioWare wants to tell a “big BioWare story” in Anthem, but also give players room to experience their own stories, like with friends.
