The Tier 1 mode in Ghost Recon Wildlands has now been unlocked. The difficulty increases there, and you can upgrade your weapons.
Today’s update 1.07 has unlocked the new Rank 1 mode in Ghost Recon Wildlands. However, the developers said nothing about the new game mode in the patch notes. Perhaps an official introduction will follow soon – For now, we will show you what is known about it.
You can expect new difficulty levels and the ability to buff your weapons for even more damage.
Update: 06/28 18:30 – In the meantime, Ubisoft has officially introduced the new mode. We have added the new information to the article.
Rank 1 mode in Wildlands – What is it about?
The Tier One mode in Ghost Recon Wildlands is available to players who have reached level 30 and unlocked the feature. With this mode, you unlock a new difficulty level. Additionally, your “level-ups” will no longer depend on the usual experience points, but on tier points that you earn in this mode.
Source: VinSilver
You start in the new game mode at level 50 and then work your way down towards “Rank 1”. As you level up, the difficulty also increases. Next to your name, your tier level will be displayed in the game. To reach the next level, you need the tier points, which can apparently also unlock rewards. No new levels or missions have been noticed so far. You activate the mode in the map overview menu, and off you go.
For every new level reached (i.e. 49, 48, and so on), you get 1000 points added for each supply. This is how Reddit user Neko_Len explained that he initially didn’t know what to do with further supplies. But then he noticed additional weapon upgrades.
Source: VinSilver
Upgrade your weapons! If you click on your weapons to modify them, you can “upgrade” the damage. There are several levels that you can unlock with resources. This way, Ubisoft continues to keep the supply missions attractive.
Among the unlockable content, there are also special masks / bandanas. More cosmetic rewards may await us on the way to Rank 1. The development team has built new unlockable special rewards for every five tier levels.
You can disable the Tier 1 mode at any time. Your progress will be saved and can be retrieved again when the mode is reactivated. Have you already tried the new mode?
Monster Hunter World remains a game where hard work is required to reach your goal. This does not fit the modern Western gamer. Capcom promises that the new installment of the franchise will not be easier for the West.
“Monster Hunter” games are more complex than they might seem at first glance. Broken down, the gameplay consists of: “Beat the monster until it is dead. And don’t let the monsters beat on you.” But it goes a bit beyond that.
Players traditionally deal with different types of weapons. These have different move sets. The move sets determine how long an attack takes, where it hits, and how much damage is dealt. Additionally, the weapons have different damage types: Slash and Strike.
The learning curve in Monster Hunter is slow and tedious
The monsters that a hunter takes down all have different traits. They can be highly aggressive or tend to flee, for instance. Injured monsters may run away; there is no fixed opponent.
Each beast has different weak spots: For one beast, this might be the eye, while other monsters are sensitive around the chest or feet. For yet other creatures, elemental damage works particularly well, and they may not tolerate fire or ice.
Monsters have different body parts that the hunter can cut or break off. Among other things, wings, heads, tails, teeth, or bones are coveted in this game world. They are used to craft various items that make hunting easier. Crafting is important here. This also plays a significant role in Monster Hunter. Experimenting with different recipes and learning how to create potions or traps are essential for a successful hunt.
Yes, in the “Monster Hunter” universe, there is much to learn to become a successful hunter.
The learning curve progresses slowly, and players must earn their knowledge through trial and error. The necessary skills to use the weapon types correctly must be trained laboriously.

Fans fear: Monster Hunter World will be adapted for the West
Capcom aims to make Monster Hunter mainstream with the title “World” and establish it in the West. Fans were concerned that this decision would mean that Monster Hunter would be adapted for the West and “simplified”.
Monster Hunter is especially a big hit in Japan. Here, gameplay often functions differently than in the West. Progress is slower, often more complex, and less action-oriented. In the West, we like games that offer frequent checkpoints, fast action, double XP rewards, linear levels, and simple maps.
Action-based weapons, like guns and grappling hooks
New features designed for a direct reward, like the camouflage cloak
The environment can be destroyed
All of this seems somehow off in a “Monster Hunter” game at first glance. Because things like the scout flies are a significant relief in the hunt. In previous installments of the franchise, you had to mark monsters with paint and chase them across the entire map to catch them within a specific time limit. So now you need to put in a bit less work tracking down the monsters.
Monster Hunter World remains static as usual – even in the West
Fujioka Kaname is the lead director of Monster Hunter. He assured fans that Capcom would not “fix” the game for the West to sell it better there.
Monster Hunter World is merely an evolution of the franchise. So we can expect the following structure as usual:
Hunters operate from a central hub
The hub leads to the hunting areas to complete quests
Monster Hunter World will retain the 14 known weapon types that we saw in the last installment “Generations”. The weapon system will only be expanded.
Despite seamless maps, the areas will still be divided into different zones. These zones will be marked on the map and may feature climate changes. Only the loading screen between the zones will be removed.
Players will still need to prepare for quests and devise a hunting strategy.
All this means that Monster Hunter World will retain a static core. Player progress remains slow and involves a lot of learning. Strategies and planning phases will still be required to successfully complete quests.
Seamless maps change the gameplay, not the core of the game
The biggest change for the developers was the seamless maps. The various zones of a map are no longer separated by a loading screen.
The developers have incorporated their gameplay decisions from this change. Whether a feature was removed, revised, or newly added was decided based on whether it fits the new, seamless environment.
Changes like those with the weapons or the introduction of scout flies had little to do with better marketing in the West, according to the developers.
In reverse, this means for those hoping for a West-typical title from Monster Hunter World that they are at the wrong address.
Monster Hunter stands out because it feels so “real”. The preparation for the hunt, learning about the monsters, the weapons, the environment – One can easily imagine that it would work just like that as a real monster hunter.
The changes are meant to support the feeling of authenticity and not to adapt the game for the West.

The Free2Play game Master X Master may seem at first glance like a clone of Heroes of the Storm. But within NCSoft’s colorful genre mix, there’s so much more than just HotS in green. Find out here why Master X Master is currently Jürgen’s new favorite game.
Are you looking for a free PC game that you can play anytime without much introduction, that excels in PvP and PvE, and is interesting for fans of MOBAs, arena brawlers, top-down shooters, and even platformers? Then Master X Master could be your game!

Master X Master – MOBA? Arena Brawler? Top-Down Shooter? What is it actually?
Master X Master is a colorful genre mix for PC that refuses to belong to just one genre. Currently, MXM has four game modes, each targeting a different type of player, which you can conveniently select from the lobby:
Arena Mode: Here you play 3vs3 battles in a small arena that changes during the game. You have 5 minutes to achieve more kills than the enemy with your team. Power-ups occasionally appear.
MOBA Mode: Here you play 5vs5 matches on a classic 3-lane MOBA map. In between, there’s the obligatory jungle with NPC monsters that you can take out for XP and points. The goal is to destroy the enemy’s energy core, but you can also summon particularly tough super NPCs called Titans to quickly deal with the opposing defense.
PvE Stage–Mode: If you don’t like PvP, you can prove yourself in specific stages with up to two friends (or alone). There, you shoot and slash your way through AI enemies and nasty obstacles, fight mini-bosses, and face the final boss at the end.
Minigame Mode: The minigames are a package of silly and fun little games for in-between. It’s about avoiding obstacles, collecting candies, and jumping from platform to platform.
All these game modes are not played in the usual “point-and-click” control of MOBAs like LoL or Heroes of the Storm. Rather, you move your hero with the WASD keys on the keyboard. You aim and shoot with the mouse. Along with the pleasantly clear camera distance, this control is intuitive and easy to learn. A few practice rounds should be enough to get the hang of it.
Master X Master – Hero Selection – Standard fare, but tasty
The hero selection of Master X Master currently includes 37 characters, some of whom should be familiar to you from other NCSoft games. For example, the grim Charr Rytlock from Guild Wars 2 and the former archvillain Jinsoyun from Blade & Soul make appearances in MXM.
Additionally, there are a large number of entirely new heroes, such as the gun-toting mercenary Lua or the wild barbarian Cagnazzo. However, there are currently no truly original heroes like Cho’Gall or Ragnaros from HotS. MXM offers solid standard fare without major surprises.
Master X Master – Tag Team – Double heroes, double fun
Unlike the usual genre representatives, you don’t just have one hero. You always have another hero with you, which you select before the round and can switch at any time with the middle mouse button in the game. The currently inactive hero regenerates health points and can be switched back after a short cooldown. With this “Tag Team Mechanic,” you can build particularly effective combos:
You use a tank hero with control skills to pin down an enemy. Then switch to a tough DD hero and unleash your strongest damage skills on the helpless opponent.
You are a weak caster DD and take a lot of damage. Switch to your second hero, who is a big tank, and laugh at the pathetic pinpricks from the enemy!
You are a supporter who distributes strong shields. Buff yourself with it and then switch to a tank who becomes even tankier due to the ongoing buff.
Master X Master – No power to the meta!
Also cool: Due to the double combo of the players, the notorious “meta” (the currently very trendy hero selection) establishes itself much slower than in other games, as many combinations of heroes are possible in MXM.
Also, thanks to the Tag Team Mechanic, you can play your favorite DPS and still take the urgently needed tank or supporter as a second pick. This way, everyone has fun and is not forced to give up their favorite hero for the sake of the team.
MXM – Why is it so much fun?
Master X Master is simply a great fun. This is because it offers so many cool game modes that are all easy to learn, yet thoughtful and fun. Even if one – like me – prefers PvE over PvP, I find myself playing a few rounds in the arena or even in MOBA mode again and again.
Due to the strict time limit of 5 (Arena) or 25 minutes (MOBA), the PvP rounds are manageable and do not unexpectedly escalate into hours of torture like in LoL or HotS. This is ideal when you want to play a round shortly before going out and don’t want to explain to your partner why the “short round” has already lasted over an hour.
What I enjoy the most about MXM is in the Coop mode with my friends. The higher difficulty levels require good teamwork and are more than just mindless shooting. The loot is significantly better, allowing you to upgrade your Masters after the battle, buy new skins, or unlock new heroes. If you play long enough, you get all heroes without spending real money in the mandatory cash shop. Only the rather long grind in the same stages to unlock certain heroes can be a bit annoying. Also, the fact that you can only choose the PvE level with paid tickets and otherwise only play random stages.
Conclusion: Master X Master is a truly fun game that delights for many hours and offers something for every player’s taste. NCSoft fans also get the added value of beloved heroes from the publisher’s franchise games. So if you’re a fan of arena brawlers, MOBAs, or top-down shooters and play on PC, there’s really no reason not to try MXM. It doesn’t cost anything!
Destiny 2 is said to have a coherent, exciting story. This is probably the biggest innovation compared to Destiny 1, according to Bungie.
If you ask the Guardians: “What was the first year of Destiny about?”, many players might only be able to answer: “Well, I shot aliens in the face!”
Some Guardians might still remember a “strange Exo” who had no time to explain why she has no time for explanations. Later, Crota wanted to be defeated in a raid and something with the House of Wolves came up as well. But how all this is connected – the bigger picture is something many players do not (anymore) have in mind.
The reason: The story of Destiny, especially in year 1, was really bad and counted among the biggest points of criticism. It lacked strong characters, it lacked a coherent story, it lacked answers to almost all questions.
Destiny 2 aims to present the story much better. Well, the bar is not very high – but according to Smith, it might be the story in Destiny 2 that could actually be the biggest innovation that might attract new fans.
Destiny 2 is not just about the Red War
Gamesradar spoke with Game Director Luke Smith about the story of Destiny 2. They asked him what he thought was the biggest core change in Destiny 2. Smith’s answer: “I think, generally speaking, it is probably the incorporation of a story.”
Smith adds that Destiny 2 focuses on a comprehensible story, on an extensive storyline with an epic scenario. The story content has multiple levels:
There is a main story in Destiny 2. This revolves around the “Red War”, meaning the war against the Cabal’s Red Legion led by Ghaul. This is the campaign which the trailers already teased.
Then there are “Adventures“. These are short missions in which players can better get to know the “Destiny 2” universe and the characters that live in it. Here, short stories are also told, which however do not directly relate to the “Red War”. They tell their own tales.
Smith hopes that this stronger focus on the story will attract new fans.
With “The Taken King”, the second year of Destiny, they already tried to enhance the campaign. To tell it better and more coherently. And in Destiny 2 they will extend this.
In previous interviews, Smith already provided more information about the story of Destiny 2:
Maps with water for swimming and diving in Overwatch would be great. But what do the developers think about it?
Although Overwatch is regularly supplied with new maps and content, players are particularly wondering right now – in the hot season – why one thing is missing in Overwatch: water. While there are maps like Gibraltar and Ilios that take place right by the sea, water as a gameplay element does not exist, as it is always outside the map boundaries.
In the official forum, the user dolevkle noted that while there is now the moon with reduced gravity in Overwatch, there is still no water.
Many fans joined in and explained how grand a water mode would be or the ability for the heroes to swim.
This took Jeff Kaplan, the Game Director of Overwatch, directly as an opportunity to elaborate further on the topic. In excerpts, it says:
“Although one day we might implement more water or swimming into the game, we have very consciously decided to avoid water gameplay.
A reason is that we have never found the gunplay while swimming in other shooters we have played to be very fun. While the immersion was great, the actual gameplay is mostly underwhelming or at best tricky.”
It seems one cannot imagine that this would really consistently provide fun.
Water maps would consume too much animation work
Another reason is that the characters of Overwatch are not animated by motion capturing, but by hand, frame by frame.
“If we were to bring swimming into the game, each character would need an intensive amount of animation work for the basic movements and animations for each ability. The end result would be that we can invest much less animation time in other aspects of the game (emotes, highlight intros, etc.). But the really big downside would be that it would take significantly longer to create new heroes, resulting in fewer heroes.”
Basically, it seems to be a problem of animation effort – especially since everything for Overwatch is done by hand. The additional workload would likely set the team back months and put all other animations on hold. So swimming will probably be off the table for now.
But since Blizzard never says never, Kaplan adds: “Maybe in the future!”
Would you like “water gameplay”? Or would it be too annoying and unfamiliar?
In Heroes of the Storm, the new event “Summer, Sun, Pool Fun” has started. In it, you earn new skins and mounts in beach and pool style. There’s also a new Hero Chaos where everyone is just smaller and pulls each other into the pool.
Blizzard is known for funny and original ideas, and in the new event “Summer, Sun, Pool Fun” (in English “Sun’s Out, Guns Out!”) for the MOBA Heroes of the Storm, the company stays true to its ideals. The event offers new skins, mounts, and a fun new Hero Chaos game mode.
Heroes of the Storm – Tychus’s “Butt-Up Fitness Program” is Coming
Until July 28, you can earn special summer loot chests instead of the usual loot chests. Only the hero-specific chests remain as they are. Only the summer loot chests can contain the new skins, mounts, spray paints, and portraits.

Heroes of the Storm – New Hero Chaos “I Think It’s Lagging!”
In addition to the new items from the summer loot chests, there’s also a new game mode in the Hero Chaos. The whole fun is called “I Think It’s Lagging!” and in it, you all play as the chubby zombie Kleiner. The goal is to pull other players into the pool with your hook. For that, the hook attack has more range and less cooldown.
If you survive three rounds of this fun, you will receive a guaranteed summer loot chest. However, the game mode is only available from June 30 to July 6.
Heroes of the Storm – Summer Raffle – Win a Trip to BlizzCon!
Also cool: You can participate in a raffle until July 24 every week to win loot chests, skins, a gaming PC, and as the grand prize, even a trip to BlizzCon 2017. Details about the raffle can be found on the Blizzard homepage under the provided link.
The conditions for the Fury Warrior’s artifact weapon in WoW have been drastically reduced. We reveal what has changed.
If you love your artifact weapon in World of Warcraft, you regularly give it a new appearance. Especially the “hidden” artifact weapon skins are highly sought after, as they usually come with some visual effects and provide a bit of variety in the character’s outfit routine after the long leveling phase.
However, these hidden artifact skins are almost all tied to conditions that must be met first – and these vary greatly depending on class and specialization. For example, Discipline Priests must traverse the world and find 12 books, while Retribution Paladins have to complete a very long quest line. Fury Warriors had it particularly annoying, as they had to wait for the spawn of two world bosses: Shar’tos and Nithogg, in addition to an item from Skovald in the Halls of Valor.
Odyn has snagged the skulls of the Fury weapon
However, since the world bosses alternate only once a week and there are numerous of them, it can easily take 4 to 5 months until both dragons were present – just like now. The world boss J’im keeps appearing, but there is no sign of the dragons.
Blizzard has now realized this as well and changed the drop chances for the needed items. They are now also available at a different location!

From now on, the items will also drop in the raid “Trial of Valor” from the first boss Odyn. So anyone who still needs their visual upgrade as a Fury Warrior should at least sign up for the LFR of this raid and, with a bit of luck, soon have the needed skulls in their pocket.
What do you think of this change? Good and meaningful because the dragons came so rarely? Or is it unfair to those who waited so long for the dragons?
A pesky bug that made Orisa nearly unstoppable has finally been fixed. Peace in Overwatch has been restored.
Since the implementation of Patch 1.12 (PC), there has been not only a lot of new gameplay content in Overwatch but also some minor bugs. However, some of them are so significant that they could severely impact the gaming experience. One of these affected the latest hero of Overwatch, the omnic lady Orisa.
Her ultimate “Supercharger” usually creates quite a bit of panic in the enemy team. As long as the device is placed, all nearby allies deal more damage, which means that taking out the Supercharger should be a priority.
However, Orisa was able to exploit a bug – even without malicious intent. Although the Supercharger (in German “Superbooster”) was placed and still active, she could already charge the next Supercharger!

This led to a vicious cycle because as long as Orisa benefits from her own Supercharger, she deals more damage and can consequently charge the next Supercharger much faster. The result: The team with Orisa is permanently enhanced by the ultimate. Once one Supercharger is destroyed, the next one is placed immediately. A victory thus seemed often impossible.
Other ultimates in the game also work in a way that they cannot be charged while they are still active. With a small patch, this is now also the case for Orisa again. At most one Supercharger can be in use, and as long as the “old” one is still active, no new one can be placed.
This should maintain the balance for the time being – at least until the community finds another bug that earns the label “game-breaking”.
The Division is struggling with serious balance issues. How can these be fixed?
The Division launched in March 2016 with problems. The Division received further issues with future updates. And many problems have been removed from The Division over time. For 15 months, Massive has been chasing all the annoyances.
Currently, after the Update 1.6.2, The Division is on a fairly solid foundation. The biggest exploits have been addressed, Massive repeatedly emphasizes that the build diversity is greater than ever, and forums often hear that players are positively surprised after all the criticism of The Division.
However, this is only one side of the coin. The Division is still far from being a flawless game. Serious issues remain in this shared-world shooter. Whether frustrating bugs, lags, or major balance problems.

The YouTuber and Division expert MarcoStyle has revealed what he believes to be the three biggest balance issues and has created suggestions for solutions so that Massive can address these problems directly. Via Twitter, community developer Hamish Bode already showed that he liked the video.
Stamina and health scaling
The first problem concerns the stamina in The Division. This attribute has lost significant importance with Update 1.6. MarcoStyle now sees it as nearly useless – stamina is only good for unlocking weapon talents.
Once there were 30 health points per stamina point. Now there are only 15. So if you currently invest fully in stamina, you won’t be nearly as “tanky” as before.
To become “tanky,” it is now much more worthwhile to invest in skill power. Skills are now significantly weaker than before, and if you want to heal effectively, you need high skill power. This way, you will stay alive longer in combat than if you invest in high stamina values.
In other words, the difference when fully investing in stamina or not is significantly smaller than the difference when fully investing in electronics or not.
MarcoStyle’s solution: Since it currently hardly pays off to invest in high stamina values, the scaling of stamina to health points should be adjusted. Instead of 15 health points per stamina point, one could easily increase it to over 40, so that stamina becomes worthwhile again. He even recommends 45. Then stamina would be as effective as it was in The Division 1.5.
He also includes the changes to armor values. Armor could reach up to 75% in the days of Update 1.3, but now the maximum is 35%. Back then, the change would have made sense to reduce the impact of stamina to limit the massive toughness. But currently, stamina is simply too weak when calculated with the armor value.
Healing in The Division
The second issue is related to healing, healing. This is an “old” problem in The Division that the developers haven’t really managed to get under control. There are extremely many things that one can use to heal, as well as many ways to reduce the cooldowns of healing skills – or to exploit various bugs.
One example is the Triage character talent. When you heal a teammate with a skill, the skill cooldown is reduced by 15%. Especially with “First Aid,” this bonus is overpowering, as you get a cooldown reduction for every teammate who runs into the green circle. That is probably a bug.
In combat, all agents just need to shoot their healing skills on the ground and then run in a circle to recharge each other’s skills, thus creating an endless healing effect.
A solution proposal: Fix the Triage talent so that it only activates once per skill activation. Additionally, Triage should only reduce the cooldowns for the user and not for everyone who is healed by the skill. As this is currently an unintended effect.
Further changes to healing:
The aid station provides too large an initial healing boost. This should be adjusted to depend more on skill power: Those with low skill power should receive almost no instant heal.
Skill Haste: This stat is currently too strong and too important for many builds. The maximum is 50% and many character setups are designed to get as close to this maximum as possible. This reduces the skill cooldowns. Currently, skills can be used far too often. With the stats on the armor pieces alone, one can reach up to 40% skill haste. MarcoStyle recommends reducing this maximum to a good 20%. The Tactician set, which grants additional skill haste, could also be adjusted. The new maximum that one can achieve overall should be 40% (instead of 50%).
In short: It is currently too easy to quickly get healing (and other skills like the seeker mine). There should be adjustments so that only pure skill builds can achieve such high values – and not every hybrid build.
Grenades
The third issue concerns grenades and the Shortbow kneepads. With this exotic, grenades explode extremely quickly, and enemy agents have no time to dodge the grenade. In other words, you just need to throw a grenade and you already have an advantage (be it damage, stagger, shock, etc.) over other agents before the battle actually begins (or during the battle).
In the “Last Stand” mode, you respawn after every death with new grenades, which is why grenades are flying around you.
MarcoStyle believes the best solution is to revise the Shortbow kneepads. Agents should at least be given a chance to dodge grenades.
Ultimately, The Division should primarily be a shooter and not a game where one solely relies on grenades and various skills.
Which balance issues do you think Massive needs to address urgently?
In the MMO shooter Destiny, today, on June 28th, it is weapon day. Additionally, we are giving recommendations for vendor weapons.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is plagued by cheaters, like every online game. However, cheating has come to an end for 25,000 of them.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is an extremely successful battle royale online shooter that has sold over 4 million copies and has left competitors like H1Z1 King of the Kill and Ark: Survival Evolved lagging behind on Steam. And all of this still as an unfinished early access title!
Of course, with so many players, all sorts of nasty cheaters and fraudsters congregate on the servers of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, but 25,000 players have unfortunately met their demise due to cheating.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – Hunting Cheaters with BattlEye
Thanks to the anti-cheat technology BattlEye (which is also used in Ark and Rainbow Six Siege, among others), the team led by Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene was able to identify over 25,000 players who used forbidden cheat software and ban them from the game.
However, the fight against cheaters is an eternal arms race, and with over 4 million players, 25,000 banned cheaters are unfortunately just a drop in the bucket. But even such a relatively small number of banned fraudsters is ultimately better than nothing at all.
What do you think about the cheating situation in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds? Is it worse than in comparable titles, or is cheating still manageable? And do you think that anti-cheat technologies like BattlEye are really effective if only “25,000” cheaters are caught after 3 months?
With a total player count of over 4 million, there must be many more fraudsters at work who still carry out their trade unscathed. Let us know your opinion in the comments!
Fans have been waiting for a long time, and it was supposed to happen in the spring. But now it is finally confirmed when the Closed Beta of the online shooter Escape from Tarkov will start.
Next month – in July – it will begin, then the Closed Beta of the hardcore online shooter will start. The exact date will be announced later.
If you want to be part of it, you can order one of the founder packages or register on the official website. With a bit of luck, you will receive a key for the testing phase.
Look forward to these new features
The Closed Beta of Escape from Tarkov will bring several new features compared to the Alpha. These include:
● Insurance – For a small amount of in-game currency, you can insure weapons and equipment. This increases the chance of not losing them. ● Loot and Trade – With the Closed Beta, the new dealer Peacemaker is introduced along with more loot, medicine, and many other items that you can buy, sell, and trade. The economy system has also been improved, allowing you to trade items in marketplaces. Loot drops depend on their popularity and rarity within the economy cycle. ● Weapons – With new weapon elements and ammunition for customizing your gear, as well as the introduction of the submachine gun MP5, you’ll have even more options to personalize your arsenal. ● Locations – A total of four different maps are available: Customs, Woods, Factory, and Shoreline. These differ in size and terrain type. The Shoreline map is the newest and largest map in the game. ● General Chat – Chat channels available to all players. Through these, you can exchange useful information or arrange raids.
The developers at Battlestate have also updated the game to the latest version of the Unity engine. As a result, Escape from Tarkov now fully utilizes DirectX11 and many other optimizations.

The development studio Frontier Developments has released the Playstation 4 version of the space online game Elite: Dangerous.
The game is available through the Playstation Store in two versions. The standard version includes only the base game. The Commander Deluxe Edition additionally offers the Horizons expansion and the Commander Paint Pack, which allows you to customize your spaceship.
A physical boxed edition of the game will also be available in the form of the Legendary Edition. This includes Elite Dangerous, the Elite Dangerous: Horizons Season Pass, and as a bonus, 1,000 Frontier Points that you can spend in the in-game store.
Updates are released simultaneously
The PS4 version of Elite Dangerous is at the same level as the PC version. It is therefore also possible on console to encounter the Thargoids, which currently keep appearing in the galaxy. The team aims to release updates for each version simultaneously so that all versions are almost always up to date. Almost always, since the PC version may also receive small patches in the meantime.
Features of the PS4 version
The PS4 version of the space game offers some special features. These include easier navigation via the touchpad of the “DualShock 4” controller, as well as the ability to configure four additional touchpad hotkeys. You can also target your enemies using an optional motion-based targeting system. Those who own a PS4 Pro have the choice between two graphics modes: “Quality” offers improved graphics, while “Performance” allows for a higher frame rate.

Jeff Kaplan teases the Overwatch community again. Reaper will likely be getting new skins soon.
When it comes to skins and cosmetics in Overwatch, fans show no mercy and pay meticulous attention to ensure that every character gets their share of the skin pie.
However, that’s exactly not the case in Overwatch, and the forums and Reddit are often stormed by players who loudly complain that character X has not yet received any new skins, even though characters Y and Z have already received at least a dozen new outfits in the last 2 events.
Therefore, user Trashy0 also followed this tradition in the official forum and announced:
“Seriously, Reaper has exactly 2 event skins. Pumpkin and Shiver. In events, he only gets voice lines. Am I the only one who sees it this way?”
Of course, Trashy0 was not the only one who saw it this way, and many users gave the comment a thumbs up or shared about their favorite hero who was also poorly equipped.
To the surprise of most, there was a response from Jeff Kaplan, the Game Director of Overwatch. He commented, in regard to the statement that Reaper has too few skins, with a simple “ok”.
It didn’t take long for fans to speculate what skin for Reaper might appear next.
The fact is, data miners have long found some hints in the game files of Overwatch that suggest new cosmetic items for Reaper – although so far there had been no hopes for skins.
According to the data miners, Reaper will receive new items in both the Summer Games 2017 and the mysterious “Event Number 8”, and at least one of them is likely to be a skin.
What skins for Reaper would you like to see? Something dark and threatening again? Or rather something laid-back or even silly from his time when he was just Gabriel Reyes?
When can I start the download for Destiny 2? The expected date for the preload is now known.
On September 6, 2017, Destiny 2 will be released on the consoles PS4 and Xbox One. Some players have already marked this date boldly in their calendars or even requested a few days off to dive directly into the new Guardian adventures.
Those who purchase the digital version must first overcome a hurdle before diving into the “Destiny 2” universe. The hurdle is called Download and is, according to the PlayStation Store, approximately 68 GB in size.
This is a hefty download size, with some internet connections taking hours, if not even days. Do pre-order customers of a digital version need to postpone the planned launch on September 6?
Preload on PS4 – Destiny 2
No, because the solution is called “Preload”. It is now common in the gaming industry to download game data a few days before a major release. On the release day, the game is only activated, so you can start right away without having to shout at your internet connection.
So there is also a preload for Destiny 2. The PlayStation Store already indicates the expected date for a preload:
The American Store lists September 3 as the preload start date. The German Store states September 4.
Preload on Xbox One, PC – Destiny 2
The digital PC version will be released on October 24 via Battle.net. We currently have no information regarding a possible preload.
The “Xbox One” version, however, is set to be released, like the PS4 version, on September 6. We do not have official information regarding a preload, but some Microsoft fans reportedly received an email stating September 5 as the preload date.
Note: The article will be updated as soon as further information becomes available.
The latest raid in World of Warcraft is now also open to casual players. We reveal what awaits in the first wing of the Tomb of Sargeras!
Although the latest raid “The Tomb of Sargeras” has been in the game files of World of Warcraft on the live servers for almost 3 months, it was only recently opened. After players were allowed to storm the normal and heroic versions of the tomb last week, this week the mythic difficulty follows. The race for the coveted Firstkills from professional guilds has begun!
But now there is finally a first glimpse of the Tomb of Sargeras for casual players. The first wing named “The Gates of Hell” is now open and can be accessed via the Looking for Raid tool.
The Gates of Hell open their gates
In the first of the four wings of the Tomb of Sargeras, there are three bosses to defeat, who can drop plenty of loot and have probably already swallowed a seal of the Fated Destiny.
Goroth: This creature has failed several times in the service of the Legion. As punishment, his whole body is now on fire – the pain he feels is something he is all too happy to share with his adversaries.
Harjatan: The oversized Naga monstrosity has been trained since its birth to destroy everything. To achieve this, he has subjugated a whole host of Murlocs, who now worship him as a god and obey his will.
Lady Sassz’ine: The Naga witch Sassz’ine has spent her entire life bringing the various creatures of the sea under her control. It is these creatures that she will summon to devour all enemies of the Naga (P.S: That’s you!).
