Is the Third League included in FIFA 18 ? According to Kicker information: Yes!
It is the biggest wish of many German FIFA fans: The 3rd League should also be there in EA Sports’ virtual football.
As the e-sports site from Kicker now reports, this wish is finally coming true with FIFA 18. Supporters of the third league clubs will soon be able to play with their favorite teams, such as SpVgg Unterhaching or Karlsruher SC, in FIFA and lead them to the highest titles, for example in career mode.
Kicker writes that the deal between the German Football Association (DFB) and Electronic Arts (EA) has already been sealed, only the announcement is still pending.
No official confirmation yet
However, Kicker does not mention any concrete or official sources. It refers to “Kicker information”.
The colleagues from GameStar directly asked EA and the DFB. Both parties did not want to confirm that the 3rd League is licensed in FIFA 18. Therefore, there is still no final, official confirmation.
The third highest German league is one of the most sought-after leagues that the community wishes to see licensed in FIFA 18. However, this wish is not only harbored by German football fans, as an international survey by FIFPlay shows. Of over 2 million participants, approximately 230,000 users currently voted for the Third League (as of 07.06.2017). This means second place, just behind the Chinese league.
Two weeks ago, we reported that the license negotiations for the Third League would not fail at the DFB or EA Germany – instead, the “okay” from the top is missing, according to the DFB. The international headquarters of EA decides which original licenses are integrated into FIFA. And currently, there are no enforceable news regarding the 3rd League to report.
Possibly, EA has now given the green light. Provided that the “Kicker information” will be officially confirmed soon.
There is a new video about Destiny 2. It contains some new information. The game is said to be easier in breadth but harder at the top compared to Destiny 1.
More and more information about Destiny 2 is coming in. Now there is a new video about the “vision” behind Destiny 2. It was created in collaboration with IGN. In the video, the leadership team of the shooter, Luke Smith and Mark Noseworthy, explain the idea behind Destiny 2.

Destiny 2: Easier in breadth, but harder at the top
In the first part, there was a small community that was hardcore involved, exploring the lore and deeply engaging with Destiny, but that was a small niche. Destiny was a nut that took a lot of effort to crack.
The goal of Destiny 2 is for as many players as possible to see what is possible in Destiny. Stories should not be told in Grimoire cards outside the game, but should be experienced in the game itself.
On the map, players should be able to recognize which activities are available. The accessibility of Destiny 2 is intended to be much higher than in Destiny 1.
Destiny 2: The hardest activities are “Loadout-locked”
This does not mean that Destiny 2 will be “just for casuals.” Luke Smith says: The “top” hardest activities will be even tougher than in Destiny 1. There will be activities where Guardians must consider beforehand which items to use. A change of equipment is no longer possible after the activity starts.
They are “Loadout-locked.” Players have to examine their equipment beforehand, like a golfer with their golf clubs, and then choose the ones they want to use for the activity.
Players should be able to clearly recognize: This is the activity. I can do it, but I don’t have to. If I complete it, the rewards I receive will be at this level.
More story progression in Destiny 2
The second major message Bungie wants to send to players is: This time we will do better with the story. In the first part, there was a lack of “progress,” which Bungie wants to deliver in Destiny 2.
For Destiny 2, they have thought about how to make it a foundation that they can build on for years. How can we make it easier for players to get into the game?
Mein MMO thinks: Much of what we’ve heard in the video has been echoing what we’ve heard in interviews with Luke Smith leading up to E3. There was a fear that Destiny 2 could become too easy, too casual. Especially when Luke Smith said that Destiny 2 should become more accessible and not be such a time sink as Destiny 1.
Now that Game Director Luke Smith says that at the top, Destiny 2 will be harder than Destiny 1, it may quell these fears.
In The Division, the PTS Phase 2 of Update 1.7 is live. This introduced the first global event. Patch notes.
This afternoon, the PTS Phase 2 of Update 1.7 was activated on PC. In today’s State of the Game, community developer Yannick Bancherau talked about the new features and when console agents will finally be able to access the PTS.
The public test servers are coming to consoles next week
While the public test servers (PTS) have been available for PC agents since last week, agents on PS4 and Xbox One will have to wait another week.
To participate in the PTS, you need an invitation email from Massive. These emails will be sent out at the beginning of next week. Shortly thereafter, a preload is expected to start, allowing you to download the PTS build in advance. And by the end of the week, the PTS is planned to go live on consoles.
The following applies:
The PTS will start on both consoles simultaneously.
Consoles will receive the PTS Phase 2 build directly.
However: Next week, PC will already receive PTS Phase 3. Consoles will therefore lag behind the PC.
If you receive an email with a key, you can share this key. It is not linked to an account.
Patch notes PTS Phase 2 for Update 1.7
The patch notes mainly include bug fixes. The most important new features are:
The first global event is live on the PTS. It is called “Outbreak”. The factions are infected by the virus, which means you inflict the most damage with headshots. There will be two extra modifiers with which you can adjust the challenge and rewards. The event is active from July 6 to July 9. It will then be deactivated for one day before being activated again.
Additionally, there are new commendations that are “global event” specific
The encrypted caches have new items
The 6-set bonus of the Striker set through Classified Gear is being reworked. The healing effect is now lower. It is currently being discussed whether the Classified Striker set is too strong. Massive states that the Classified Gear should be very strong. Therefore, the Striker’s combat gear will only be adjusted slightly.
If you heal a status effect with a First Aid Kit, you will be immune to that status effect for 3 seconds.
The birthday event in Pokémon GO (Anniversary Event) starts today and brings a special Pikachu and a gift box into the game.
The fans had to wait long, and now Niantic brings the announcement just before the start of the event. Starting today, we are celebrating the first anniversary of Pokémon GO together with Niantic. The celebration is accompanied by a special Pikachu and a birthday box that holds many interesting contents.
Birthday Event Start
To celebrate the birthday of Pokémon GO, the special Anniversary Event starts today, on July 6th. The celebrations begin at the usual time at 1:00 PM PDT (approximately 10:00 PM German time). It is expected to end on July 24th. The official end will also be at 10:00 PM German time but could, as with other events, be set later in the game.
Anniversary Event Bonus
To celebrate with you the first birthday of Pokémon GO, you will have the opportunity in the game to catch a special Pikachu. It will wear the hat of Ash, the trainer of Pikachu you got to know from the anime series. This way, you have another opportunity at the birthday event to expand your Pokémon collection with another rare Pikachu.
You should find these special Pikachu freely in the wild.
Birthday Box
Additionally, there is a new gift box in the game that you must buy for yourself. The Anniversary Box contains many cool items that are useful for every trainer. These include incubators, max revives, Ultra Balls, and a Raid Pass.
This box is available in the in-game store at a promotional price. The advertised “promotional price” suggests that this box can still be purchased after the event in the shop, but likely at a higher price.
In the coming weeks, we should expect more interesting news, including special events at Unibail-Rodamco locations.
What do you think of the bonuses of the birthday event? Are you satisfied, or would you have wished for different rewards?
The German knight Reinhardt from Overwatch still has some bugs. One of them particularly frustrates players.
Although Overwatch regularly releases patches and updates that should fix bugs, there are still a few problems that keep reappearing.
Especially Reinhardt’s players have been complaining for months that there are strange moments when they want to play their favorite hero. For a long time, the abilities of the German knight were faulty, and the animation did not match the speed of the actual effect. If someone swung a hammer at their opponent, they sometimes had to wait a full second for the hit to count.
The same applies to his ultimate ability. Occasionally, enemies who are clearly in the ability’s range are not affected by the stun at all.
Clear line of fire and yet no hit
And his charge still seems to be faulty, as this video by sinatraaow impressively shows:

Even though Reinhardt sneaks up on the opposing McCree quietly and the latter doesn’t even try to dodge the charge, he simply bounces off Reinhardt and survives.
Moments like these currently frustrate Reinhardt’s players massively, as they occur with several abilities and often create the impression that one lost a fight because of it.
Blizzard has not yet made a statement on this. At least the bugs with the incorrect animations seem to be fixed by now, but Reinhardt’s charge remains a mystery bag.
Have you experienced such moments with Reinhardt? Or have you been spared from misfortune and always managed to pin your opponents cleanly against the wall?
In Titanfall 2 you show your love for animals and respect for a YouTuber in an unusual way. A story moves the community and developers so much that Respawn honors a dead dog in the game.
Just over a week ago, a post circulated in the Titanfall 2 community. Someone posted a photo of a dog with the message: “This morning I said goodbye to my best friend of the last 18 years. Onyx, I love you so much. This hurts. Rest in peace, my friend.”
Youtuber Inquity bids farewell to his friend, who enjoys high esteem within the relatively small Titanfall 2 community.
And so the post on reddit received over 1000 upvotes. Not only the community, but also employees of Respawn expressed their condolences under the photo of the dog.
The thread creator called on the developers at Respawn to bring the dog into the game in a patch. This was received mixed by the fans. Some were for it. Others said it went too far. It had nothing to do with the game. Such is the nature of the internet.
Developers touched by the dog’s death
But yesterday Respawn also spoke out on reddit and said: “We were touched and saddened to hear about Onyx’s passing. Many of us are also dog parents and we can empathize with the pain it caused. We recognize what Inquity has done for the Titanfall 2 community and we are very grateful.“
It has been fantastic how the community supported the wish. This support was so strong that it encouraged Respawn employees to create a banner in honor of the dog.
A post about the banner made its way into other gaming forums on reddit. The post currently has over 21,000 upvotes on reddit-gaming, where mostly funny gaming videos run. That’s quite a lot.
Mein MMO says: The Titanfall 2 community seems to be something special. Small, but heartfelt. Even if the desire to honor the dog may have been debated within the community itself. The gesture outward is nice and the best advertising for the shooter, which probably deserves more players.
If you’re interested in Titanfall 2, here we have a guide from our community that isn’t too terrible:
The MMORPG Ashes of Creation is one of the most successful online role-playing games funded through Kickstarter. But now the “backers” want to see something playable. That won’t take long.
Almost 3.3 million US dollars were raised by the developers during the first crowdfunding campaign. Currently, another campaign is taking place on the official website of the game. Ashes of Creation resonates with many players who are longing for a classic yet modern MMORPG that offers a lot of freedom.
Finally Playable!
Many videos have already been shown that made players eager to finally get hands-on experience. And that will be the case soon. On September 1, PAX Prime will take place in Seattle. There, Intrepid Studios will showcase the latest version of Ashes of Creation. But that is not the main reason why interested players should consider attending the event. Ashes of Creation will also be playable for the first time!
Character Creation, Combat, and More
Visitors will be able to create a character and undertake the first class-specific steps in the game world. This also includes fighting against monsters. This is intended to give a first impression of how Ashes of Creation will play.
Of course, this is a rather early version. The game’s release is not planned until the end of 2018. Nevertheless, a playable version represents an important first step towards launch and will surely satisfy the fans.

Hearthstone new Expansion: Lich King Arthas and Ice Crown?
What exactly the new expansion of Hearthstone will be about is still uncertain. Many fans suspect and hope that thematically this time it will be about Arthas, Ice Crown, and numerous undead adversaries.
Other players consider this unlikely, as both the Naxxramas expansion and The Grand Tournament have already touched on this theme and thus brought more than enough “Undead” into the card world of Hearthstone.
The only hint so far is the rune symbol in a teaser image for the expansion release plan. This could be either a frost or an arcane spell.
Tomorrow morning we will know more – and of course report on it immediately.
Players are waiting for the anniversary event in Pokémon GO, as the game celebrates its birthday. However, the developers have not yet announced any events.
Pokémon GO is now one year old and is celebrating its little anniversary. On this occasion, trainers around the world expect an in-game event, as a hint has already appeared in the code.
However, there is no official news from Niantic yet. Trainers are becoming impatient.
On July 6, 2016, exactly one year ago, Pokémon GO was first released. From July 13, Germany was also involved and quickly fell into the hype surrounding the new augmented reality hit. Now players assume that Niantic will invite them to the big celebration. There is good reason: Pokémon GO is successful and had a dream year with over 1.2 billion dollars in revenue.
In the game’s code, there have also been hints that put trainers’ patience to the test even more. Data miners found the line ONE_YEAR_ANNIVERSARY, which clearly indicates the one-year anniversary. However, apart from many rumors, there is still no news of an event.
How is Niantic celebrating the birthday? Some speculate about a shiny Pikachu, while others want to know that the legendary Pokémon will appear for the birthday. But no reliable source can be named. We hope the developers will report officially about an event soon. On Twitter, they showed fans that they are apparently excited about the anniversary.
We are excited and hope to receive more information about an event during the course of today. What would you like to see in the game? More experience points, legendary Pokémon, or entirely new mechanics like a trading feature?
In Destiny 2, clan members receive rewards for supporting other players in Guided Games. Bungie discusses these rewards.
One of the most important new features in Destiny 2 is the Guided Games. This allows solo players to participate in group endgame activities such as raids, trials, and nightfall strikes, for which there is no “normal” matchmaking.
Similar to a dating app, this connects solo players with clans that are looking for one or two guardians for the activity. The seeker can decide whether they like the suggested clan and if they want to play with them. If not, they can search for a new clan. All information about Guided Games can be found here.
Clans should find it worthwhile to offer themselves as guides. Clans gain significantly in importance in Destiny 2. They have their own progress system and rewards that you can unlock together.
Clan rewards resemble “Super Bowl Rings”
In an extensive interview with PCGamer, game director Luke Smith is directly asked about the clan rewards one can expect when helping random players in Guided Games.
Smith explains that he cannot go into detail at the moment. However, one can imagine the clan rewards like the “Super Bowl Rings”.
At the Super Bowl, the winner receives not only a trophy and prize money but also rings. The special thing about these “Super Bowl Rings” is that not only the players receive a ring, but the entire team does. From the coach to the announcer to the groundskeeper – every staff member receives a ring that they can keep, unlike the trophy.
This is how it will be with the clan rewards in Destiny 2: Every guardian who is part of the clan will be rewarded – regardless of whether they played this guided game or not.
Now Smith gets more specific: Sometimes it will happen that one receives engrams for activities that they did not participate in (Apparently, one receives engrams as clan rewards, which Tyra Karn on the farm can decrypt).
There will be moments like “Oh my god, my team did something fantastic in an activity” or “I am glad to be part of the clan, and since I am a very active member, my clan members are also happy to have me.”
By the way: You can transfer your clan from Destiny 1 to the sequel. However, the clan founders need to take action: From July 25, you must visit Bungie.net and decide whether you want to convert your group into a “Destiny 2” clan. Detailed information on “Can I keep my clan in Destiny 2?” can be found in the link.
What rewards do you expect from the new clan feature? Only engrams, cosmetic stuff, or maybe even exotics?
This is an AI-powered translation. Some inaccuracies might exist.

As this article is being written, there are still no patch notes available. It is not yet known which issues Massive is fixing or what new features are coming.
Currently, there is also no information on when the PTS for PS4 and Xbox One will start. However, the launch should not be too far away. Last week, Massive stated that the console PTS would begin after the major bugs are fixed. This should happen with Phase 2 of the PTS.

When this special event will take place will be announced in the coming weeks.
Most fans would like a TV series about Overwatch .
Several months ago, Activision Blizzard already stated that they want to focus more on multimedia. This indirectly hinted at TV series that would fit perfectly into the various universes of Blizzard. Whether it’s Warcraft, Diablo, StarCraft, or the latest universe Overwatch – all would be wonderful candidates for various series.
And which provider do we think of when it comes to high-quality series nowadays? Right, Netflix. And because they have their own unique style in producing and promoting trailers, it was easy for fans to transfer this style to Overwatch.
Netflix series of Overwatch? With this trailer, yes!
The YouTube channel Lion Montages has taken on the task and merged almost all cinematics of Overwatch to create a “Netflix teaser trailer”.
While many of these “fan-made” trailers often seem poor or inappropriate, Lion Montages succeeded in presenting the possible excitement and cool characters of the “story”.
What do you think of this trailer? Cool idea and great execution? Or just a bit of “cobbled together, which anyone can do”? And much more importantly: Do you want an Overwatch TV series?
Cortyn says: I find it amazing what works fans are now capable of, even though they are “only” using Blizzard’s source material. No matter how many times I watch the trailer, it always gives me goosebumps, making me want to see the series right away. Now, there is just one thing missing: Someone needs to produce the series. Blizzard, please.
The MMO shooter Destiny 2 further expands the social space with the Farm. CoD WW2 gets its own headquarters in the new game. But what are such places actually for? Why do shooters want social meeting points now?
A social space, a place to do nothing, in a classic shooter. What is the Farm in Destiny 2 for and why is it so important for the success of the game? What is so interesting about the concept that now even Call of Duty wants to build a headquarters for its soldiers? Let’s take a look at that.
Reason 1: The Farm as a Stage for Our Success
In online games, it’s about status: The achievements in the game should be reflected in your character. Here, the virtual world is no different from the real one.
In what we call real life, we show what we have achieved: my house, my car, my boat.
In MMORPGs like WoW it has been said for 15 years or more: my mount, my weapon, my level.
In shooters like Destiny, there are also these status symbols: Rare emblems awarded for special achievements, a special shader, or a rare weapon.
Players spend a lot of time perfecting the look of their character, even if some clearly identify as a noob with a pot haircut.
In “normal” combat, these subtleties get lost. Often one is alone or in small groups in instances of the world: No one sees what you have achieved. You cannot compare yourself to others.
What good is it to be the coolest guy around, but no one is there to admire you?
In other games, developers have long recognized this problem and created “rest zones.” This idea can also be found in Destiny: In the social space, first in the Tower, in Destiny 2 at the Farm, we have the opportunity to inspect and examine others.
Model: The Capitals in WoW
Our “achievements” in the game are displayed in these rest zones. Already in 2006 it was common in WoW for the strongest players on a server to pose in front of central places in the capital and showcase their character with all those items and status symbols that remained unattainable for the common “folk.”
Initially, it was enough to just have a particularly high level (“Oh, he’s already level 60”), later came particularly rare mounts (“Where did he get that from?”) or noble weapons with effects (“Have you seen his sword? It glows”).
Later, titles could be admired, which were awarded for certain achievements. The chief of Destiny 2, Luke Smith, is still proud to have become a “Scarab Lord” in WoW 10 years ago.
All these status symbols and the opportunity to showcase these and your personal style to the public increase the motivation to actually achieve these symbols.
Even Call of Duty has now recognized that such a place is missing in the game. For the 2017 version, CoD: WW2, a “headquarters” is now being established.
In Destiny 2, the Farm is significantly expanded compared to the old social space, the Tower. More activities, more space, more people.
Reason 2: Communication and Joint Activities to Strengthen Social Bonds
But a social space is for more than just showcasing achievements.
In shooters, it’s been a long time since it was only about shooting. Developers create spaces where players can meet peacefully.
They receive emotes to communicate with each other. Sometimes small happenings or events even emerge. The demand for these is so great that players organize them, even if the developer has not actually foreseen any opportunities.
In Destiny 1, a conga line sometimes formed spontaneously, marching off to the cliff of the Tower together to leap to their deaths. Macabre, but it shows the players’ need to experience something together with rudimentary means.
In Destiny 2, players will receive a soccer field. In the first part, there was only a ball placed in the Tower to see if the Guardians would make something of it.
Such things, no matter how silly they are, promote cohesion in the community and strengthen social bonds that often keep players tied to the game when the actual content of the game cannot.
It makes the games more than a game, it makes them a hobby.
Reason 3: Practical Reasons – MMO Elements Demand NPCs, They Need to Stand Somewhere
A practical reason for a social space is the growing “MMO elements” in shooters. With these elements like quests and weapons, such central places have almost inevitably made it into the games.
Anyone with quests and items needs quest NPCs and merchants who are centrally located.
Many central reward and quest systems in Destiny are represented in the game by specific NPCs: Xûr, the inventory system with post office or the Cryptarch only work with NPCs.
These functions could be managed through a menu, but NPCs make it more “personal.” A menu item representing a game mechanic can’t be hated or loved. Xûr or Rahool can be hated, and Guardians do so passionately.
Reason 4: Waiting Area Until It Starts
The growing instancing of games has increased the need for a waiting place. One does not travel to adventures; one waits to be let in and is teleported to the destination at the start.
While waiting for an “activity” to begin, players need a place to pass the time.
So far, this was in Destiny the Orbit, where players had to wait for the action to start. In Destiny 2, this will no longer be necessary, and players can also enter activities from outside the Orbit.
Therefore, the social space as a “waiting area for passing the time” will become even more important than in Destiny 1. Accordingly, the Farm will be expanded.
Reason 5: Microtransactions Become More Attractive
Developers benefit from social spaces not only through higher player retention but also concretely.
For another advantage of these social hubs: Microtransactions become more attractive and thus the revenue of the games.
Anyone who cannot earn a “special item” in the game due to lack of time or skill can purchase it from the cash shop: a rare skin, a special light effect like chromatin.
Such items are also referred to as “vanity items”. You buy them for yourself because you want to make your Guardian look especially nice, want to treat him, and enjoy it. Or you buy them for others to let them see what you can afford.
Emotes and thus “new ways to communicate” are also available for Euros.
Destiny has managed to be among the most profitable games even in 2016, when very few game contents were released – almost solely through such microtransactions.
We want to know from you in a survey: What is most important to you about social spaces?
How the individual games implement social spaces can be read here:
In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds up to 100 players fight until only one remains. This can lead to some absurd scenes, for instance a fistfight duel for the final victory.
No round of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is alike. In some matches, you get shot right after the jump. Or you crawl around for ages, only to fall victim to a bombardment. Or you die in bizarre motorcycle accidents.
But when only two players are left, the tension is hard to top. Both opponents stalk each other. Whoever makes the first mistake loses.
You can either join in or simply boldly challenge the opponent to a boxing match.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – “Let’s settle this with our fists!”
The player and Reddit user Ucsbaway was left with his opponent as the force fields closed in, and both players heavily armed stalked each other behind trees. The tension was enormous! Then Ucsbaway suddenly called out via internal voice chat, “Come on, let’s settle this in a fistfight! I’m dropping my weapons, please don’t mess around!”
And indeed, Ucsbaway did exactly that and put down his heavy guns. Actually a major mistake, because now he was defenseless against his enemy. But the opponent also had honor and came out unarmed and even without pants from cover, ready for the epic boxing match for the final victory!
Fists were flying, players jumped around like chickens, and in the end, Ucsbaway was beaten in a fair fight and came in second. Nevertheless, his example shows that even in merciless battle royale shooters, there are fair and honorable people. Here is the video:

What do you think of the boxing final? Honorably and strong to engage in something like that? Or was it foolish of Ucsbaway, who might have won in a gunfight? And how would you react if you were close to victory (which is no small feat with 99 opponents) and your enemy challenged you to such a duel? Let us know in the comments.

Patch 7.3 von World of Warcraft has more to offer than just Argus – there are also plenty of alien worlds to marvel at.
Although Patch 7.2.5 has only been active in World of Warcraft for a few weeks, all players are already talking about the next update – Patch 7.3 and our journey to Argus, the homeworld of the Eredar. There’s a new raid waiting there, a new instance, plenty of story content, and even a hidden mount. But there are also some contents that do not take place on the destroyed shell of the “new” planet, but on other worlds!
Apparently, Blizzard has realized that players are slowly but surely tired of the Fel green and has provided a bit of variety.
In Patch 7.3, there is not only the planet Argus but also a new type of content – the so-called Rifts. Here players travel to various worlds that are currently being attacked by the Burning Legion. There seem to be a total of six different locations, which currently have very unremarkable names in the game data.
Invasion Rift: Blood
Invasion Rift: Fire
Invasion Rift: Forest
Invasion Rift: Ice
Invasion Rift: Islands
Invasion Rift: Marshes
Icy Veins has already made a small exploration video about it, which gives an impression of the surroundings.

In these rifts, there will be a kind of mini-scenario where players have to eliminate an invasion force of the Burning Legion. Afterwards, a stronger commander of the Legion will appear
Cortyn says: At least in the preview, the worlds behind the rifts unfortunately look very generic, which bothers me a bit. I would have liked it if Blizzard had put a bit more effort into creating “alien worlds” and giving them at least some unique plants or creatures – but that would probably be too much work for such a “small” piece of content that won’t be considered in a few months.
