Ho-Oh, Mewtwo, Entei, Suicune, and Raikou might be further away from us than expected. The base catch rates of these legendary Pokémon have now been removed from the Pokémon GO code.
Legendary Pokémon have been the center of attention in Pokémon GO over the past weeks. It started with Lugia and Articuno, which were added to the game during the app’s first anniversary. Articuno has now been replaced by Moltres, which will appear in the game as a raid boss for the next few days.
Fans are already looking forward to more legendary Pokémon like Mewtwo and Ho-Oh, but their base catch rates have now been removed from the code. Will they be released in Pokémon GO much later as a result?
Ho-Oh was actually expected in August in Japan
When something is changed in Pokémon GO, it can sometimes be noticed beforehand through changes in the game’s GAME_MASTER file. For this reason, this file is regularly checked by data miners for new or edited entries.
According to PokémonGOHub, there is now new information. Recent changes to this GM file affect five legendary Pokémon: Mewtwo, Ho-Oh, Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. Specifically, the values of the base catch rates of these monsters have been removed. This raises suspicions that these Pokémon will not be catchable in the game in the near future.
However, the BCR values (Base Capture Rate) of Lugia, Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos were also only added shortly before their release. So there is no reason to lose all hope here.
Data miners were not surprised that the BCR values of Mewtwo and the legendary beasts were removed. It was unusual that the values for Ho-Oh were removed since it was actually expected at the Pokémon GO Stadium event on August 14 in Japan. However, that had only been a rumor without official information.
As already mentioned, the values could be updated again in the GAME_MASTER file in the short term.

We are curious when there will be news about Ho-Oh and if something changes shortly before the event in Japan. If anything happens, you’ll read about it here at Mein-MMO.de.
Everything in gaming pushes for shorter matches. It fits better with today’s time, or so they say. But is that really true? Are you playing longer, shorter, or earlier now?
It’s the trend: short matches, short sessions. The dungeon run should not last longer than 15 minutes, the round in PvP maybe 12 minutes. Everything should go quickly, no one should get bored. The heartbeat of gaming has become faster.
In modern mobile games, the rounds only last 2 or 3 minutes, so the bus ride could already be over.
The little number in between
Where long sessions were common in RPGs, and fans raved about getting so immersed in a game yesterday that they lost track of time, the trend today is towards “mini-games.” Hardly a game does not set a round length that is between 10 and 20 minutes.
Developers see a turning point in players’ consumption behavior. Attention spans are getting shorter. Players want to be rewarded more often; there should always be something happening.
Short quests, short instance runs: This also means “Many rewards.” Players do not have to play for an hour until the next kick comes in the form of a reward; it is only 15 minutes away.
In short matches in PvP, so the logic goes, defeat is not so bad, because even if you are at a disadvantage, the next fight is only minutes away. In long matches, where you quickly start to go down the losing path, the frustration is greater.
The nightmare in MOBAs like LoL: a match runs long. If a 20-minute fight suddenly lasts an hour, everything gets pushed out of shape.
Players cannot plan; real life calls, but the game is on the line – such “outliers” disrupt the player’s rhythm. A consistent game length is needed. One reads about games: We don’t want that anymore. We introduce rules to capture such outliers.
A bit of this, a bit of that
The trend is towards gaming menus. Players do not want to play just one game for 4 hours in an evening; they want to sample here and there. Three rounds of Hearthstone until everyone is there, two instances in World of Warcraft, two games of Overwatch with the regular group, and then still Heroes of the Storm with friends to unwind – a menu, and everything is available in Blizzard’s Battle.net ecosystem.
In the “big MMORPGs,” the trend seems to be going towards “packeted content.” The Elder Scrolls Online, which originally wanted to offer only epic battles, is now focusing on battlefields. Raids in World of Warcraft have long since removed tedious trash sections. Now raids are divided into wings. Everything should be portioned so that players can better manage the large bites of content.
We want to know from you: Does this philosophy of the gaming industry fit your user behavior? Have your game sessions become shorter? Are you still playing games for several hours at a stretch, or are you looking for the kick and switching regularly back and forth? Or are you just cramming tiny bites of the same game over and over?
A first gameplay video of FIFA 18 shows a complete match featuring the stars of Real Madrid.
In early August, EA Sports lifted the curtain and revealed the main innovations in the “Ultimate Team” mode of FIFA 18. They held a dedicated livestream, where they not only presented the FUT changes but also gave a first look at “FIFA 18” gameplay.
In the meantime, recordings of this match can be found online:
https://youtu.be/xVQ1wDbK8Yw
How does FIFA 18 play?
The Real Madrid stars Isco and Marco Asensio played alongside the YouTubers Castro1021 and Spencer FC in a 2v2 match. Both teams played with Real Madrid. The cover star of FIFA 18, Cristiano Ronaldo, was virtually present. You can see the UI design for the Spanish La Liga.
However, the video quality is not exceptional, which has led some users in the comments to joke that the gameplay video looks like “FIFA 17.5” or even like FIFA 15. Therefore, you should not judge the graphics of FIFA 18 based on this video.
However, you can get a good impression of the gameplay and some innovations like the player archetypes. With the archetypes, the footballers move at different speeds based on their height and body shape, taking shorter or longer strides when sprinting and being quick or sluggish in ball handling.
There is plenty of entertainment in this video, by the way. There is an early red card and a total of 6 goals are scored.
Paladins ranking system is being reworked with the new patch OB56. In a live stream, lead designer “HiRez-Martini” explained that there will be a fresh start for all players in the ranked mode. You can find out how the new system works here.
Ranked games in Paladins are being turned upside down and redesigned. Ranked 2.0 comes with patch OB56 and gives all players a fresh start. With a “hard reset”, all ranks will be reset to 0.
In a live stream, Paladins lead designer “HiRez-Martini” explained how the new system for ranked games will work.

The old system allowed each champ to have its own rank and there was a top-100 leaderboard for each. Depending on how well you played with the character, it received a border that displayed its rank. So it was possible to have different rankings with the characters. In addition, there was a total score of all matches and champions combined. There was also a list of the top 100 players here.
The problem with this system:It was difficult to observe your overall progress. Characters could all receive a different rank, but there was no meaningful way to measure performance for the account.
Paladins Ranked 2.0 receives a tier system with 7 ranks
Paladins will get a tier system starting from patch OB56, which applies to the entire player account. The new system works like this:
After the “hard reset” has been conducted, each player must play 15 qualifying matches.
Players will be classified into one of 7 tier levels based on the qualifying matches. The tier levels consist of: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, and Grandmaster.
Each tier level is divided into 5 divisions. This means that in each tier level, there are still 5 sub-levels that need to be climbed to advance from Bronze to Silver.
Those who win ranked games will earn triumph points. Once a player has earned at least 100 triumph points, they will advance one division.
Those who lose ranked games can also lose triumph points. Once the points are down to 0, the player falls down in the division.
The tier levels Master and Grandmaster are an exception. There are no divisions here, as only the best players gather here.
With Ranked 2.0, a ban system will also be introduced. The teams will decide before the ranked match which champion cannot participate in the round.
To participate in the qualifying matches, players must own a certain number of champions. This ensures they still have enough options if their champion is banned.
The image below shows Paladins’ new tier levels. From Bronze to Diamond, there are 5 divisions to climb. The Master and Grandmaster levels have their own ranking system.
There are rewards for playing in ranked mode
Players receive rewards for their progress in ranked mode. The rewards are divided into two types.
Rewards for ranking up:
1 champion skin chest for qualifying for ranked
For reaching tier level Gold 5, there is a Drogoz skin
Frame for each tier level
Crystals for players reaching the rank of Master or Grandmaster.
Rewards for winning & playing in ranked mode:
1 weapon chest for 25 ranked matches played
An epic Drogoz weapon for winning 100 ranked matches
The title “Forged In Battle” for winning 200 ranked matches.
What do you think of the adjustments in Ranked 2.0? The new system is sure to have a significant impact on Paladins eSports scene.

Activision is rubbing its hands together: Destiny 2 is going to be a super hit. Feedback from the Destiny 2 Beta has been overwhelmingly positive, and more players have played the Destiny 2 Beta than the one for Destiny 1. A lot of DLCs for Destiny 2 have already been sold.
Activision presented its quarterly report yesterday. On the sidelines, there were some remarks about Destiny 2. From Activision’s perspective, things couldn’t be going better.
Activision man Eric Hirshberg says:
There are a lot of positive signals regarding Destiny 2
Activision has “enormous faith” in the title
They have received “almost entirely” positive feedback about the Destiny 2 Beta, from both the press and the fans
Many pre-order customers have bought the season pass as well
Destiny 2 will have an even broader target audience than Destiny 1 – it is being released on PC, localized for even more countries, partnering with Blizzard to utilize Battle.net
Activision plans multiple content expansions for Destiny 2 and they are extremely important, likely the most important aspect overall. “Follow-up content” is just as important as the main game.
Activision wants to satisfy the fans’ hunger for more content. They did not succeed in doing this with Destiny 1. Now Vicarious Visions and High Moon Studios will work alongside Bungie on Destiny 2. Activision has expanded its developer arsenal to meet content demand.
My MMO thinks: The servers could have potentially been ablaze, and marauding hordes of Destiny fans could have been rampaging through Seattle, and Activision would still have received “only positive signals”. The Destiny 2 Beta was certainly no catastrophe, but it was “uniformly well-received by fans and the press” – in our filter bubble, this was not the case. Rather, the beta was controversial – especially the decision to slow down PvP.
Clearly, Destiny 2 has a lot of expectations from Destiny 1. Many people are looking forward to the game and have “blindly pre-ordered.” Hopefully, Destiny 2 can also meet these expectations. However, for most of these casual players, a “good story” and great PvE content in Destiny 2 will be more important than whether PvP has slowed down.
The next bite of Destiny 2 will be given to players with the PC Beta in a few weeks. The PC Beta is expected to be larger and better than the PS4/Xbox One Beta:
GTA Online has not performed this well since its release in the last quarter. It’s a reason to extend the lifespan of GTA Online and continue to provide fans with fun in multiplayer for a long time.
The release of GTA 5 was almost four years ago, and yet the game still breaks records today. According to the latest financial results from publisher Take-Two, the last fiscal quarter was particularly successful. Grand Theft Auto Online had the highest player counts since its release in June and July, and many of them are willing to spend money on the game.
The revenue from the multiplayer part of Grand Theft Auto V greatly exceeded the expectations of the publishers. As a result, GTA Online is expected to continue for much longer.
GTA Online – Running better than expected
In GTA 5 Online you can earn money by completing jobs as a President of a Motorcycle Gang or as a CEO. These jobs involve grinding and take a lot of time to get rich. An easier solution to increase your in-game currency is the purchase of so-called “Shark Cards”. These are credit cards that you can buy outside the game for real money to increase your digital balance.
The business model of GTA 5 apparently works really well because the online service of GTA significantly contributed to the increase in net revenues for Take-Two. As the publisher explained, net revenues for the first quarter of the fiscal year increased by 34%. Instead of $311.6 million, it is now $418.2 million in the first quarter of this fiscal year.
Consumer spending numbers (including digital currencies, Shark Cards, etc.) rose significantly by 72% compared to last year and account for 63% of digital net revenues. The biggest contributors were Grand Theft Auto V, Grand Theft Auto Online, as well as NBA 2K17, WWE SuperCard, and WWE 2K17.
More Lifespan for GTA Online
This increase in revenue is of course also pleasing the publishers, who are passing their joy on to the fans of the Grand Theft Auto series. The game is getting more “lifespan” and is expected to keep providing fun for you for a long time.
“In addition, due to the continued success of Grand Theft Auto Online and other factors, the Company has determined that it is necessary to extend the life of Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online for purposes of calculating deferrals.”
A year ago in June, there was still a statement from CEO Strauss Zelnick that Grand Theft Auto V would eventually be ended to give the franchise a break. That now seems farther away than ever. In June 2016, the publisher also expected that revenues would decline after three years – the opposite is true.

Funny scenes are happening in PUBG streams. Cars approach the streamers and honk continuously. If shots are fired at the cars, they quickly drive away. The new honking feature in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is a test of patience for popular streamers.
The battle royale shooter PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds received a new feature with the last patch that has already stressed some players’ nerves within the first hours. We’re not talking about an overpowered weapon or an invincibility trick, but honking. Car honking.
The honking is now used to really annoy streamers. If players find a streamer in their match, they approach with continuous honking and circle the streamer until they die or quickly flee. For popular streamers, the stream honkers are just as annoying as stream snipers.
Not just killing, but also annoying
In the August update for PUBG, there were not only 1st-person servers and a new weapon but also functioning car honking. Players quickly found ways to use these honks particularly annoyingly.
Instead of killing streamers with “sniping,” they circle around them with honking cars. The constant honking quickly becomes tiresome and throws the streamers off balance.

A popular target for the “honking” is the player Grimmmz, one of the best-known streamers in the PUBG community. He recently drew attention to himself because he believes that bans for stream snipers are justified. With this opinion, he drew the wrath of many players who were apparently wrongfully banned for this offense.
As an outsider, stream honking is funny, but what is it like from the streamer’s perspective? Being constantly pursued by honking cars while wanting to play your game can quickly become annoying. Will there soon be a honking regulation that limits it to 10 honks per minute? In the following video, you will see more honking scenes from PUBG

The developers of Dead by Daylight are making it rain blood – triple the amount is available this weekend!
Since the horror game Dead by Daylight has also been released on consoles, one community event follows another. This time, the developers are really turning it up and granting players more blood points than ever before.
This weekend, from August 4th (Friday) to August 6th (Sunday), there is triple the amount of blood points during the Summer Bloodfeast!
There is also a goal for the community: They need to collect 150,000,000,000 blood points cross-platform during the event!
150 billion blood points demanded by the Entity
As a reward, there are in a way even more blood points. If the community succeeds in the task, then the offerings that provide additional blood points (100% more points for all players, only one survivor, only the killer) can still appear in the blood webs until the next community event.
Otherwise, the spawn of these rare offerings will end until further notice.
By the way, this is also the perfect time to get into Dead by Daylight. With all the blood points, you can unlock important perks particularly quickly, making it much more effective to progress both as a killer and as a survivor.
One more tip: If possible, you should unlock the perk “We’re gonna live forever” with the new survivor David King, as this character gets up to 200% more blood points. This gives you an easy bonus of 400%, allowing all characters to level up quickly – as blood points are not tied to the character with which they were earned!
Bungie announced details this week about the upcoming beta for Destiny 2 on PC. In addition to the usual content from the beta on consoles, there is also new content to discover.
Bungie is preparing for the release of Destiny 2. The game will be released for the current console generation in just five weeks. PC players will have to wait a bit longer, specifically until October 24.
PC players can test Destiny 2 as part of a PC beta from August 28 to August 31. Bungie has now announced the contents of the beta for Destiny 2 on PC.
New Control Map Javelin-4
The Destiny 2 beta on PC offers the following content:
The story mission “Homecoming”
“Twisted Column” Strike
Countdown in the downtown area
Control on Javelin-4 (New Map!)
Where the new map will be located is open to speculation. To us, it sounds like a space station. We can’t wait to see.
Bungie Listens to Player Feedback – Balance Changes
In addition to the new multiplayer map, Bungie also announces that it will consider player feedback and make changes to Power ammo and Super abilities.
The changes are said to be “subtle.” Will your Super charge 0.04% faster now? The beta will reveal it.
What is Bungie Planning Against Cheaters on PC?
Bungie does not want to go into detail about their anti-cheat strategies, but they are already giving hints on how cheating in Destiny 2 will be prevented.
Bungie specifically addresses software that adds functionality to the game’s client. These can be enhancements to the gaming experience, but can also have destructive capabilities. Bungie wants to prevent any changes to the game client, whether intended for good or bad purposes.
This policy may affect the following types of applications:
Communication applications
Recording/streaming applications
The most important and largest representatives of these two types of applications are intended to continue functioning, and the impact on them should be minimal. Here, too, the beta will be an initial stress test. Bungie also offers a guide on using third-party software.
Bungie reiterates that the beta is just a test; they are entering new territory with PC and are therefore excited. There will be issues, but Bungie hopes that enough players will participate to create the best possible experience on PC.
Will you be playing the beta on PC? Let us know in the comments!
New cards for Hearthstone Knights of the Frozen Throne amaze fans. Valeera gains Stealth and Druids receive a card with a value of 17 Mana!
Only a few days remain until the release of Knights of the Frozen Throne, the latest expansion for Hearthstone. Many new cards have been revealed again. We show you the highlights here.
The “Death Knight” transformation for Rogues is Valeera the Hollow and costs 9 Mana. It grants the Rogue 5 Armor and additionally Valeera gains Stealth until the next turn, making her untargetable and unattackable. The hero power then becomes a passive effect, namely Death’s Shadow. This causes the player to draw a Shadow Reflection at the beginning of their turn.
Shadow Reflection transforms into a copy of that card after playing another card. For example, “Disembowel” can be copied multiple times after a few turns – or any minion.
Shamans get the new Murloc Brrrloc. This 2 Mana minion has stats of 2/2 and freezes an opponent as a Battlecry.
There is also a spell for Shamans that allows Murlocs to be played faster. Ice Fishing costs 2 Mana and lets the player draw 2 Murlocs from their deck.
A new spell is available for Paladins. For 2 Mana, they can cast Desperate Stand, which gives a minion an additional deathrattle effect: Resurrect this minion with 1 health.
Priests receive a new buff minion, the Shadow Ascendant. For 2 Mana, this undead lady has solid stats of 2/2 and has a powerful passive effect: At the end of the turn, she grants another random friendly minion +1/+1.
As a neutral minion with the potential to ruin the game for everyone, the Skulking Geist comes. For 6 Mana, he has weak stats of 4/6 but has a powerful Battlecry: Destroy all spells that cost 1 in both hands and both decks. Especially Paladins are likely to lose all their secrets!
Warlocks receive the probably strangest spell in the game. Treachery costs 3 Mana and causes a friendly minion to switch control with the opponent. This is beneficial if a minion has a negative deathrattle effect. But a Doomcaller could also go up particularly quickly…
Druids receive one of the most powerful spells in the game. For 10 Mana, they can cast Ultimate Infestation. This has several effects:
Draws 5 cards
Deals 5 damage
Gains 5 Armor
Summons a 5/5 Ghoul
The pure “value” of this card lies between 16 and 18 Mana – that’s hard to top.
How do you like the cards and Valeera’s ability in particular?
The power level determines the strength of your home base in Fortnite. The stronger it is, the more difficult missions you can undertake. Additionally, the power level also determines how well you perform in the mission and what rewards you receive. In our guide, we explain how to increase your power level.
Anyone who wants to progress in Fortnite must increase their power level. It determines:
which missions you can participate in
how strong you are in a mission
which rewards are given at the end of the mission
But what exactly is the power level and what does it consist of?
In the top left, you will find a number along with a lightning bolt. This number is your power level, or rather the home base strength.
The home base represents the strength you achieve in Fortnite. Through resources, rewards, and missions, you can further expand your base and increase the statistics and talents of your characters.
The power level is essentially the strength of your account. It indicates how powerful your home base is and how far you are in the game. The power level consists of four statistics:
Resilience
Attack
Resistance
Tech
These statistics are also referred to as F.E.S.T.U.N.G in the game. If you want to improve the values of the F.E.S.T.U.N.G / home base, you need to increase these four statistics.
There are three methods to increase the power level and thus strengthen the home base.
Unlock skills on the skill tree
Use research points
Upgrade survivor units
The following section explains the three points in detail.
Unlock skills on the skill tree
With the skill tree, you can improve your statistics or unlock new classes and mechanics. To do this, you need to distribute skill points on the tree, which you receive by completing missions or leveling up.
Thus, you increase the power level on the skill tree – Simply unlock the skills here that increase your “F.E.S.T.U.N.G” statistics: resilience, attack, resistance, and tech. Throughout the gameplay, you will unlock many skills on the skill tree anyway. You will need them to obtain and improve certain class characters. Therefore, this is the easiest and most recommended method.
On the skill tree, you will find various skills that increase your “F.E.S.T.U.N.G” statistics.
Targeted use of research points
You can also take the path of conducting research.
Thus, you increase the power level by using research points: When researching, you distribute points on another skill tree. By distributing research points, you can directly improve your “F.E.S.T.U.N.G” statistics. You receive research points by completing various tasks in Fortnite or you accumulate them over time. Don’t forget to regularly collect the accumulated points.
This is the research skill tree. In this image, a point has been placed on “Tech”, improving the values immediately.
Improve survivor units
Units are survivors in Fortnite who stand by your side and have different characteristics. The survivors are your personnel. Each unit consists of a leader and seven other survivors.
This is how you increase the power level with survivor units: This method only works if you utilize the skill tree and research points. To increase the power level with units, you need strong survivors on your team. The survivors must receive upgrades to become stronger. Just like every item in the game and your heroes, you can “level up” survivors.
A higher level then influences the statistics of resilience, attack, resistance, and tech.
The entire team of survivors must receive upgrades. Even a single member who is too weak pulls down the power level. So make sure to assemble a team that collectively receives more upgrades. With a strong team, you will also achieve strong “F.E.S.T.U.N.G” values and can tackle trickier missions.
Survivors improve your “F.E.S.T.U.N.G” values and provide you with other bonuses.
The power level can change by adding or removing skills
It is also important to note that the power level can change! You can swap out your survivors or redistribute points on the skill tree. Keep an eye on your power level. It can rise and fall through changing skills or units.
When you want to start a mission, a recommended power level is always displayed. You should not fall below this level if you want to ensure success in a mission.
In summary, when distributing skill points, always consider the “F.E.S.T.U.N.G” statistics resilience, attack, resistance, and tech in your decision. If you invest many points in these values, you will also achieve a home base with a high power level.
Season 3 of For Honor is coming! The release date and the two new heroes have been revealed: a Highlander and a Gladiator.
The third season of For Honor is on the horizon! This is the second major content delivery so far, introducing new maps, new heroes, and various new features. Today, on August 3rd, Ubisoft presented the new updates.
When does Season 3 of For Honor start? – Launch
It all begins on August 15, 2017! That’s a Tuesday.
Then all players on PS4, Xbox One, and PC will receive the new content for free. However, the two new heroes will only be accessible to “Season Pass” holders without further costs at launch. A week later, on August 21, all players will be able to access the heroes. They will cost 15,000 steel.
Highlander and Gladiator in For Honor
Season 2 of For Honor introduced the Shinobi and the Centurion. Season 3 delivers these two new heroes:
Highlander: A Viking hybrid with a heavy longsword. It is said to be the heaviest and longest sword of all characters in For Honor, whose weight will be felt in battle. The Highlander has a defensive stance that is good for countering and an offensive stance to unleash deadly attacks. You can always switch between these two stances. The Highlander is said to be difficult to master. By the way: There was a leak months ago that the Highlander would come to the game.
Gladiator: The Gladiator is a knight assassin armed with a trident. He is said to be fast, ruthless, lightly armored, and reminiscent of a boxer in combat. Gladiators have high stamina and short cooldowns.

In The Division, update 1.7 is approaching the agents rapidly. Massive discusses the release and the changes that will still be made by then.
The State of the Game took place on August 3rd. Community developers Hamish Bode and Yannick Banchereau provided information about the upcoming update 1.7.
When will update 1.7 be released?
At the beginning of this week, the public test servers ended. Now the agents are waiting for the launch of update 1.7 in the live game. Although there is still no concrete release date, Massive mentioned a release window: mid-August.
As larger updates in The Division are always released on Tuesdays, there are three possible dates:
August 8 (probably too early)
August 15 (likely)
August 22 (latest date)
What will change from the end of the PTS phase 3 to the release?
After PTS phase 3, the developers have been working on final bug fixes and balancing adjustments. They are aware of all the community reports complaining about several bugs. They are working on it. Even after the release of 1.7, the work will not stop.
One important change concerns the drop rates of classified gear. During a global event, you earn tokens with which you can buy and open crates. These crates may contain classified gear.
The drop rates now look like this:
In the crates, there are two guaranteed item drops. These items can be classified gear, normal gear set pieces, or exotics.
For each of these two items, there is a 45% chance that the item is classified.
Additionally, each crate has a 12.5% chance of containing a third item. This third item is 90% classified and 10% exotic.
This means: The chance of pulling a classified gear from a crate is higher than on the PTS.
More information from the State of the Game:
The first global event starts right at the launch of 1.7. That is at least the current plan. The event will last a week.
In patch 7.3 of World of Warcraft, it gets dark. Players can get dead children as “pets.”
World of Warcraft may have a comic-style graphic style and only a rating of “12 and up” but that doesn’t mean that the MMORPG is always morally sound.
The upcoming patch 7.3, currently on the PTR, has some pretty gruesome details hidden in the game that can make you rub your eyes in disbelief.
The most striking are the Ur’zul, deformed and distorted “dog creatures” that were created from the bodies and souls of slain Draenei. And what do you do with something that looks like a dog? Right, a mount! This way, players will soon be able to gallop through the game world on the corrupted and fused corpses of the Draenei.
Little dead girl “Uuna” as a pet in WoW
Even darker is a new “pet” that has appeared in the PTR collection. A companion named Uuna appears on the list – and is the spirit of a little Draenei girl. She drops from the rare elite “The Many-Faced Devourer”. The description reveals the following:
“One of the many children thought to be lost in the battle for Argus. Only to find themselves fused into the body of an Ur’zul.”
That’s pretty creepy and quite macabre by Blizzard’s standards.
What do you think of the Ur’zul mount and the “child pet”?
Cortyn says: Such details help to add a bit more horror to the Legion in its final hours. Especially because this detail is particularly gruesome, it fits well into the (presumably) last patch of Legion. At least the developers decided not to make Uuna a battle pet. Undead Draenei children as companions are already bad enough, having them fight each other for fun would have crossed some lines.
The expansion for Funcom’s barbarian survival MMO Conan Exiles announced in the middle of the year now has a name: “The Frozen North”. The release date is August 16. On the same day, the game will also be available to Xbox One players.

A new land: – The areas to explore in Conan Exiles will grow by 70% with the update. The new biome is characterized by mountains, snow, and ice. A stark contrast to the first area, the blazing desert.
Weather and temperature: – The eternal heat of the desert is replaced in the north by rain and snow. This means for the players: dress warmly! With the introduction of temperatures, it will be necessary to adapt to your surroundings. If the clothing is too scarce for the north, you will freeze. If it’s too warm for the desert, you will die of heatstroke.
The icy highlands biome impresses with snowy landscapes that can easily become a peril for unprepared travelers.
Wololo! You now have a new faith
New religion and avatars: – Religion plays an important role in Conan Exiles. With “The Frozen North”, another deity can be worshipped: Ymir, the Lord of the Storm. His summonable avatar is an axe-wielding giant.
New enemies: – A harsh environment requires tough guys – and girls. Huge frost giants, wolves, aggressive mammoths, and many other new enemies lurk in the frozen expanses. New dungeons also await with new bosses, such as Tyros, the Harbinger of Death.
Ymir’s avatar crushes a fortress.
Build, build, build your house!
New buildings and resources: – With star metal, black ice, and hardened steel, new resources come into play that can be used to build new building parts and furniture that will keep players warm in the frosty north.
New crafting systems: – Brewing and cooking are introduced as new crafting professions. With mead, wine, absinthe, bug soup, and demon blood sausage, surviving the icy northern wind will be a bit easier. Additionally, there will be the possibility to catch fish using traps and to raise bees.
New armor and weapons: – The new resources can also be processed into weapons and armor. Additionally, armor made from leather and fur, such as the Vanir fur armor, can protect against attacks as well as biting cold.
Improved gameplay and smarter enemies
In addition to all the new features, there is also an improvement of the existing gameplay. After the implementation of climbing, siege equipment, and dye systems, there is an optimization of the combat system and better AI for interesting fights.
For Xbox One, Conan Exiles will come with its early access release directly with the update.
The open beta of MU Legend starts next month. To ensure that you are well prepared, we show you the core features of the action RPG here. Where does MU Legend take place, which features have been carried over from the predecessor, and how have they been improved? We clarify these and other questions in this overview.
In September 2017, the open beta of MU Legend starts and opens the gates to the world of the new action MMORPG. To be well prepared for this testing phase, we present the core features of the game in this overview. Game modes, graphics, and various gameplay aspects are interesting for newcomers and veterans.
You fight on the continent “MU” – veterans recognize locations again
Your adventures take place on the continent MU, which you have already explored in the predecessor “MU Online”. In the new installment of the series, you will experience the events in MU that took place before Kudun’s rise to power.
Those who have already played MU Online will find classic gameplay elements that have been combined with a new gaming experience. You battle hordes of monsters with the redesigned Dark Lord class or one of the other three classes (Whisperer, Blader, and War Mage) that are available to you. A teaser recently showcased the new Emphasizer class for MU Legend.
With these strong classes, you fight against nasty monsters in the new areas of the action MMO. Also, discover the business districts of Dudrin, Tempano, and Ohrdor. During the adventures of MU Legend, veterans will encounter familiar areas such as Litenberg and Noria, which they already know from the predecessor. A completely overhauled graphic and an even better reward system are supposed to enhance popular events such as the Blood Castle .
Familiar wings and companions are included
The wings of the characters are also an element that has been carried over and improved in the new part of the series. In MU Legend, they are even more important than before, as now you can develop and enhance the wings.
Features such as the Stone of Blessing and the Stone of the Soul can be recognized by veterans in MU Legend. Old companions and mounts like Fenrirs, Unirias, and Tibettons are also back.
Newcomers find it easy to get into the game – Soul levels make you strong
In MU Legend, you are slowly introduced to the action MMO with hack-and-slash mechanics. For beginners, it is no problem to solve main and side quests to eventually reach the maximum level. During the leveling phase, you follow a story and can try out your abilities. If you want to get to know your character even better, immerse yourself in the PvE and PvP content of MU Legend.
Each of the currently four classes has different abilities and a comprehensive skill system. There are also seal and artifact systems that you can explore more closely in the game.
The maximum level of the classes is 65, but the real challenge is mastering the soul level, which has a level cap of 500. The soul level brings you important bonuses for your attack, defense, and armor values, which have a strong influence on your characters.
Classic duels in PvP mode – more in planning
PvP fans get their money’s worth in MU Legend. From the beginning, you can participate in classic duels available on various battlefields. There, you battle with friends and find out who has the more powerful character.
Are duels too boring? Look forward to arena battles, where things get more intense. There, you attempt to defeat another player’s AI character 10 times in a row in direct combat. After a victory, you can choose whether to fight again or keep the winning streak and receive the corresponding reward.
Further PvP features are being prepared, which are set to be released “in the near future.” Planned are guild wars with epic territorial battles and 3-vs-3 co-op fights, in which teams of three players each compete against each other.
Before the start of the beta, more videos about MU Legend will be released, which should give you more insights into the game’s features. We embed the introduction video of MU Legend here in the article.

For World of Warcraft: Legion there is a new bundle available in the Blizzard store, consisting of a pet and a mount. Kitten Zwielix and the glowing Star Seeker have been available for purchase for some hours now.
Completing the collection in World of Warcraft is important to many players. Those who are willing to spend real money will be offered two new collectibles today.
The pet Zwielix joins: a small, extraterrestrial kitten with striped paws and wings on its cheeks. The creature can also be used as a Battle-Pet and is interesting for trainers due to its mix of elemental, magic, and wild beast abilities.
Two Cats – Many Colors
The glowing Star Seeker is the adult version of the cat, but just as tame and ridable. Its riding speed (and also flight capability) adjusts like most mounts in the store to the environment and the rider’s ability. Blizzard even provides a small video this time:

The special feature of both felines is that they change their color, similar to the Enchanted Faerie Dragon. Both are currently available in a discounted bundle for 30 euros and are available for all existing and upcoming characters after purchase.
Network errors and other problems annoy trainers in Pokémon GO. Interruptions during raids frustrate players who are on the hunt for legendary Pokémon.
Are you also annoyed by problems and errors in Pokémon GO? Many trainers have voiced their concerns since the last update and complain about network errors. These often occur during gym battles and raids, ruining the players’ adventures.
There are tricks to reduce the frequency of these errors, but unfortunately, they do not make them predictable.
“Network errors” and “Errors” in Gyms and Raids
Many trainers have been searching for legendary Pokémon in recent days and pass by many gyms on their way. However, the battles against the gym defenders are not as easy as one might think. Even the raid battles can become quite difficult against what are supposed to be “easy” opponents. The reason for this is errors in Pokémon GO.
Some trainers can’t even start gym battles. Right at the beginning, an error message appears, unfairly blocking the attack on the gym. Other players manage to fight the first defender of a gym, but cannot continue attacking afterwards. Here too, an error message blocks further battles.
Battles that never end. On Reddit, user SquitoSquad writes that he and his son encountered a strange Pokémon GO error. They were in a Pokémon battle that just wouldn’t end. Eventually, they had to leave the fight and were then surprised by a “network error” from the game. Afterwards, there was also a display error where the Pokémon were still shown in battle even though the app had long been reset.
The two were able to “fix” the problem at a gym by continuing their route and then trying their luck again after 20 minutes. Then the battle worked.
What trainers do to solve their problems in Pokémon GO
As a possible error solution (or prevention), trainers restart their Pokémon GO app before battles. This is said to help in preventing these errors.
Other errors are much less precise and only occur with the text “Error”. In our Pokémon GO Facebook group, players often help each other with various problems. To resolve the error message “Error”, it sometimes helps to set the phone’s time to “automatic”.
On Facebook, Markus Pta adds: “If the preparation time runs out during raids and you get kicked out with “Error”, it’s because the Android phone has synchronization problems. To fix this: 1. Change settings, date and time from Automatic to Manual 2. Turn off the phone 3. Turn on the phone 4. Set date & time back to automatic 5. Restart Pokémon GO This has always worked for me and others I have helped.
A sign of the error is, by the way, if your countdown is not in sync with the other players and is a bit faster than theirs.”
Are you also battling such errors alongside Pokémon? Feel free to share your stories and error solutions in the comments!
In World of Warcraft there are plenty of strange enemies. We present you the top 5 of the most absurd boss mechanics!
In more than 20 years of World of Warcraft, many bosses have been defeated, and some dungeons have been revamped. But those who have just plunged into the world of Azeroth with Wrath of the Lich King or even later (and have avoided WoW Classic) may not remember many of their boss mechanics – or can’t even imagine how annoying some of them were.
We present to you our top 5 boss mechanics that rightfully were not reused.

General Drakkisath – Kiting to the Instance Entrance
At the end of the Upper Blackrock Spire (which was a “raid” for 10 players back then) was the Dragonkin General Drakkisath.
The common strategy was that the tank would grab the two adds and have them killed by the group. The boss himself was shot by a hunter and then kited across the instance. For those today who cannot relate to the term: “Kiting” was about keeping an enemy at a distance and busy without allowing it to attack.
And “kiting across the instance” is no exaggeration. Depending on the performance of the group, the strategy certainly involved the hunter running almost back to the entrance of the dungeon. Only when he received the “Okay” from the tank did he pretend to be dead, allowing Drakkisath to make the long journey back to the boss room.
The hunter, of course, had to run back as well. The entire instance resembled a constant run for most hunters.
Many hunters also lost their lives because Drakkisath could spontaneously unleash a breath of fire that disoriented the player. One or two hits later, the hunter was history.
With today’s WoW bosses, such a strategy would not work in most cases because bosses are often bound to rooms and reset when you leave them.
