GTA 5 Online: DLC Smuggler’s Run Release Date
The new DLC is expected to arrive next Tuesday. The Smuggler’s Run update for GTA 5 Online is set to release on August 29, 2017. By the way, the name “Smuggler’s Run” comes from an older title by Rockstar Games from the year 2000.
The update takes you high into the air over Blaine County and Los Santos. New business opportunities will be offered to you, and many new planes and helicopters will be available. With these aircraft, you can transport your goods and drop them at the destination.
You can even customize the new planes in Smuggler’s Run to your liking. To prevent them from being stolen, there are new hangars. These new properties will also be your headquarters from which you can control the smuggling business.
You will be accompanied by the nervous Ron, who will explain the business to you. As an assistant, “Charly” will be by your side.

Monster Hunter World arrives in the West
Monster Hunter World might be the attraction at Gamescom. Many praised the monster hunting game in 4-player co-op. It is slowly making its way into the consciousness of mainstream media.
The basic idea of Monster Hunter is a epic boss fight against individual monstrosities. Players must meticulously prepare for the battle, which then goes through several phases. Bungie has today, on August 24, a live appearance at Gamescom 2017. There may be fresh information about Destiny 2.
Gamescom 2017 is in full swing. The entire gaming world is gathering in Cologne these days to celebrate and promote new games at the fair. Some Bungie employees are also present to drum up support for Destiny 2. After all, the MMO shooter will be released in two weeks – they want to show presence and build hype.
So far, there has not been a dedicated livestream focusing only on “Destiny 2”. However, that changes today, on August 24, as the Project Lead Mark Noseworthy announced via Twitter. He will appear on the big Blizzard stage.
The stream starts at August 24 at 4:30 PM. According to Blizzard’s schedule, it will last around 15 minutes. What will be shown in the stream is not known. Currently, we only know that Noseworthy will show “more about Destiny 2”. Noseworthy is one of the key figures of Destiny 2 alongside Luke Smith.
Destiny 2 has not been hiding at Gamescom so far. On the contrary: Just in time for the start of Gamescom, Bungie released a spectacular launch trailer that makes Destiny fans salivate. In addition, there were fresh infos about the PC version.

In Overwatch cleaning up is also happening in the lower ranks. There are no more protection mechanisms in Ranked!
The ranked game mode of Overwatch has a lot of small special rules when it comes to dealing with players. After all, it’s a game by Blizzard and the developers strive to ensure that players “feel good” about everything – but sometimes it goes a bit too far.
Community Manager Lylirra mentioned two more points in the official forum that will change. The ones affected are the players in lower ranks.
With the start of Season 6, players can drop from any rank. Previously, it was not possible to drop from the ranks Bronze to Platinum, even if the skill rating had fallen. The game checks after each match whether the player’s skill rating still meets the requirements for the current rank.
If the player did not achieve the minimum score in the last 5 matches, they will drop from their rank. The only exception is a win: a player can never drop due to a win, even if this is the 5th match with a low skill rating.
This, by the way, has no impact on the distribution of Competitive Points. These are still awarded based on the highest rank achieved within a season.
A second change will please those who complain about receiving too little skill rating as a supporter:
The calculation of skill rating gains and losses has been revised to be more consistent across all heroes. Previously, there were greater discrepancies with some heroes.

Pearl Abyss has harshly punished two employees of Black Desert. They allegedly exploited their special positions to gain advantages in the game.
As MMO Culture reports, there is trouble at Black Desert Taiwan. Developer Pearl Abyss has taken action against two “employees”.
What happened?
Allegedly, the two employees logged into Black Desert with their private accounts during a server maintenance break and played. All others were unable to play during that time. So, a clear advantage that violates the rules.
One of the two employees bought a specific, valuable item “Kutum Ornamental Knot” from the auction house – while no one else could fish it.
Both employees then allegedly lost their positions and 30% of their salaries were withheld for three months, it is said.
Benefits for employees always a hot topic
In the past, there have been intense discussions in MMORPGs when employees gain advantages for their private accounts.
During the West release of Blade & Soul, players were extremely upset in January 2016 that NCSoft employees had an advantage in name reservation and used it. This allowed them to secure names of popular anime characters. Especially the fact that the brand manager secured the name “Naruto” was something fans could not tolerate.
Even more serious were accusations in May 2016 against Blade & Soul “support agents” who allegedly cheated ultra-powerful items that were not even in the game yet.
In comparison, the actions of the Black Desert employees seem rather minor.

Those who have already played the console beta of Destiny 2 will recognize the scene: We are here on – or in – the planetoid Nessus in the strike “Twisted Tower”. Only the fight against the final boss “Protheon” can be seen here – so just a snippet of the strike.
The fight against Protheon takes place from the perspective of an Arcstrider, who can whirl an Arc staff around to deal heavy damage. Protheon itself belongs to the alien race of the Vex and resembles Atheon – the final boss of the Glass Chamber. The fight against Protheon is carried out on multiple levels.

60 FPS and more are PC exclusive
Many Guardians on PS4 and Xbox One are probably enviously looking at this video in 60 FPS – because on all consoles, Destiny 2 is limited to 30 FPS. According to Bungie, 60 was indeed possible, but then the world would be smaller, the coop would be limited, and there would be fewer enemies in the Destiny 2 world. That is definitely not the game Bungie wants to create. Therefore, there had to be sacrifices in the frame rate.
At least on consoles – because on PC, there is no frame rate cap. Here, 60 FPS and more are possible, as long as your rig can handle it.

In War Thunder, you will soon be able to send new tanks into battle that are more powerful than any before.
The developers of War Thunder have been busy focusing on balancing optimizations. There were significant discrepancies between the newly introduced tanks and the older models. But now, a completely new line of tanks is coming to the game: the Tier-6 tanks!
New, powerful tanks are coming
These tanks feature new technologies as they come from the era of the Vietnam War and the Cold War. These war machines include BMP-1, M50 Ontos, T-64A, and M60A1. All are powerful tanks that are significantly stronger than the tanks from previous wars. Therefore, the upcoming update 1.71 is also named “The New E.R.A.”, meaning a new era. With composite and explosive-reactive armor, strong technologies will also be introduced that could not be used for the Tier-5 tanks as they were simply too powerful for them.
What about Tier-6 aircraft?
The update 1.71 only addresses ground vehicles. However, since there are also air battles in War Thunder, fans wondered what would happen with them. The developers explain that they will address Tier-6 aircraft in another update. “The New E.R.A.” will initially focus on the tanks. At the moment, it is not yet clear when update 1.71 for War Thunder will be released. It is supposed to be in September.

Is Jaina Proudmoore a Dreadlord? This question has been around in the community of World of Warcraft for quite a while.
In Heroes of the Storm, the “Call of Kel’Thuzad” is coming soon, a new update that brings a lot of skins. Among them is a particularly special piece – Jaina Proudmoore as Dreadlord.
However, this is much more than a “fun idea from Blizzard,” but rather a theory that has been circulating in the WoW community for a long time. There are some indications that Jaina is indeed a Dreadlord.
The theory suggests that Jaina Proudmoore is no longer the kind mage we met in Warcraft 3, who was in love with Prince Arthas, valued peace and coexistence above all, and always wanted to mediate between the factions.
During Garrosh Hellscream’s attack on Theramore (pre-event to Mists of Pandaria), almost all residents died as a result of the Mana Bomb. The theory assumes that everyone really died – including Jaina Proudmoore. This was the perfect time to replace her with a Dreadlord. Since then, Jaina’s character has turned 180°. From “I always just wanted to study” to “I want to eradicate all blood elves.”
But where does this theory actually come from?
Why should Jaina be a demon of the Burning Legion?
To understand this, one must take a closer look at the history of the Dreadlords and their actions. Even though we kill hundreds of Dreadlords in Tanaan or other places in World of Warcraft, they are considered masters of deception. They are skilled at positioning themselves in places of power. For example, the Scarlet Crusade, founded by humans to eradicate any corruption, was actually led by a Dreadlord.
Those who played the rogue campaign in Legion get to see even more. The death of Varian Wrynn and Vol’Jin is also attributed to a Dreadlord! It was the SI:7, the secret service of Stormwind, that recommended traveling to the Broken Isles as quickly as possible, as the demons were still weak. This recommendation came from Mathias Shaw, the leader of SI:7. Rogues find out that he was captured and replaced by a Dreadlord even before the actual invasion of the Legion.

Honestly, it is very unlikely that Jaina Proudmoore is a Dreadlord. Dreadlords are cunning, treacherous, and manipulative – Jaina has not been that over the last years. She seeks revenge and conflict very clumsily and lets her feelings guide her. As a Dreadlord, she would never have given up her position in the Council of Six or publicly advised the King of Stormwind to eliminate the Warchief of the Horde at the end of a joint campaign.
Jaina’s feelings and her behavior are understandable – but it is “too stupid” to correspond to those of a Dreadlord. Ultimately, this whole theory is more or less a running gag that has gained popularity over the years.

Bungie has published the documentation for the new API for Destiny 2 during maintenance on bungie.net. Find out here what changes and what new features we can look forward to.
The API serves as the interface between Bungie’s databases and externally developed tools such as the Destiny Companion App or completely non-Bungie developments. For Destiny 1, there were some fantastic apps like the Ishtar Commander.
All of this would not have been possible without the API released by Bungie. During maintenance, Bungie released the documentation for the API for Destiny 2. In addition to many well-known functions, there are also some new features. Note that Bungie is still actively working on the interface, so changes cannot be ruled out.
Activate Talent Node – Customizing Weapons and Armor?
The term Activate Talent Node has appeared in the API but is not explained in detail. It could refer to the modification of weapon and armor talents, as a Payment or Activation Cost is mentioned. Thus, it can be ruled out that it refers to class talents. In Destiny 1, equipment could only be viewed.
Execute Action – Finally Consume Items via the App

Weekly Clan Rewards
In Destiny 1, detailed information regarding personal weekly progress related to raids, Nightfalls, etc. could be retrieved from Bungie’s databases. In Destiny 2, this now also applies to the progress of the entire clan. Weekly rewards are tied to milestones that can now be tracked live.
There will also be clan leaderboards and dedicated clan statistics.
In addition to these new features, some familiar ones are also included, such as item transfer to and from the vault, character viewing, merchant inventory, and much more. The Grimoire cards will no longer play a role in Destiny 2.

The Dawn Children are coming! The first major update of the online action game Crossout will soon bring a new faction among other things.
Describing Crossout is somewhat difficult: Because in principle, it is a mix of MMO, action game and racing game with building elements, as you can continuously build new vehicles. A comparison to World of Tanks also comes to mind, but it is only partially correct. Because yes, it is about group battles with vehicles, but these battles play out significantly faster than is the case in World of Tanks.
New technologies for crazier vehicles
Crossout has been officially available for a few months now. The betas are over and the team is diligently working on further improvements. The first major update is now on the way and it brings the new faction of the Dawn Children into the game.
This group has advanced technology and thus futuristic weapons and vehicles. Similar to World of Tanks, this means that you will have access to the new items. You can use the individual parts to build even crazier vehicles, which will give you more options in heated battles.
Hovercrafts and plasma cannons
The new technology also includes the hovercraft. This allows you to make your vehicles hover, which leads to more daring maneuvers. However, a hover vehicle can be more easily thrown off course, as it simply lacks the grip that tires provide. In addition, the Dawn Children will bring improved weapons, including laser and plasma cannons. It is not yet clear when the update will be released.
The online action game Crossout is quite popular among players, with an average of about 4,500 players online at the same time on PC alone, according to Steamcharts. The players on PS4 and Xbox One are not even included in this count.

We spoke with a young man who has earned money from video games. However, not as a developer or pro player, but as a gold seller.
Dirk (name changed by the editorial team) had the same hobbies at 12 as most boys his age: soccer and computer games. He was particularly taken with MMORPGs: Regnum Online, World of Warcraft, and the first Guild Wars.
Those who have gold succeed
He really got into gaming in 2009 with the Asian MMORPG Aion. He was 15 then. The game with the wings awakened his ambition.
Just as Dirk wanted to get the most out of soccer, he soon aspired to greater heights in MMORPGs. He realized early on that everything in Aion depended on the in-game currency. With it, you could buy better equipment and be more successful and stronger than others.
Instead of earning the gold himself, Dirk started buying Aion gold from various sites. He quickly realized that he hit limits with his pocket money.
In 2012, the MMORPG Guild Wars launched, and Dirk was 18 years old and tested a bot for the first time. A bot is a program that automatically controls a character, even when you are not at the computer.
Dirk invested 10€ in a bot, which then brought him in-game currency worth 50€ per day. A great deal. Quickly, Dirk’s ambition was sparked: Soon he had several bots running. When that was still too slow, he acquired more accounts and bot licenses. The gold flowed. In no time, some of the coveted legendaries in Guild Wars 2 belonged to him.
When his character in Guild Wars 2 was optimally equipped, botting for personal use had actually become unnecessary. But it was still so much fun and going well.
At 19, earned 1,500€ a month as a gold seller
Then Dirk had the idea that he could also sell the gold for real money. Dirk became a gold seller, a second computer was needed. At that time, at 19, Dirk earned about 1,500€ a month selling gold. He invested more and more time into it.
Dirk started creating mesh routes for Guild Wars 2. With these custom farming routes where the bot runs, the chances of the bot being caught and banned are lower. The efficiency of the route is crucial. Dirk spent hours refining the perfect paths for the bots.
Nevertheless, it always happened that an account got banned. But then Dirk simply bought new accounts. Through the steady sale of gold, it remained lucrative. By now, bots were running on three computers, day and night, following routes for him. Dirk had given up playing soccer after an injury.
After his parents had separated, Dirk lived with his father, who was often away for work. His father trusted him to have everything under control. Dirk’s school performance had always been okay – so far.
What to do when the gold price falls?
The initial hobby had now turned into its own business and Dirk had built a network of clients. The demand kept increasing. The next logical step for Dirk was to buy gold himself and sell it to his customers at a profit. During that time, Dirk made about 3,000€ a month.
This worked for a while. However, gold selling took up so much time that there was no more time left for school. Dirk treated himself to his own apartment with the money, so it wouldn’t be noticeable that he wasn’t attending school.
But then the gold price in Guild Wars 2 dropped, and thus Dirk’s career was in danger: Profits were steadily decreasing.
As the gold prices slowly fell and the income dwindled, Dirk had the next idea: Instead of offering gold, he now sold his optimized farm routes to customers. The target audience was thrilled: Custom farming routes tailored just for them that no one else had.
To attract even more attention, Dirk published some of the mesh routes as a “sample” in relevant forums. He couldn’t handle all the demand. He sold between 20 and 30 routes per day, with prices ranging from 10€ to 500€.
18 hours of hard work
At that time, Dirk’s gold selling business reached its peak. In four months, he made about 40,000€. But the hobby had turned into a full-time job. Since many of his customers lived in different time zones, Dirk slept at night with a headset on, was always on call, woke up, made the deal, and went back to sleep.
Dirk was busy with his “job” for 18 hours a day. He stored loot in various guild banks, monitored everything, and kept it running. When another player approached his bots, he slipped into the bot, talked to other players, acted normally so that no one suspected there was a bot that needed to be reported. But time was running out for Dirk.
His father eventually wanted to see a report card, which Dirk could not provide. So the father called the school and learned that his son had not been there for a long time. When it was revealed what Dirk had been doing with his time, his father felt mixed emotions. While he was proud of his son’s entrepreneurial spirit, he did not like that he had skipped the expensive private school.
The father, a doctor, advised his son to do “something real”.
Dirk was also dissatisfied with his life as a gold seller. He had a slight burnout and was “pretty done”, as he puts it. After the injury, he had stopped playing sports. He had invested part of his earnings in delivery services and had packed on some pounds.
Dirk has earned several tens of thousands of euros from botting and gold selling in Guild Wars 2. He rented an apartment, paid for his driver’s license with the money, and bought a nice car, but he also stressed himself so much that he was glad when it all came to an end.
Not recommended to imitate
Dirk wouldn’t recommend a career as a gold seller to anyone. It is an insecure job – bots can be banned at any time, the gold price can drop, and existence hangs by a thread.
Dirk was also lucky that his career as a gold seller remained without worse consequences for him. He didn’t think at that time about paying taxes. Naively, he assumed that if someone wanted money from him, they would come to him. Today he knows better and wants to remain anonymous in conversation. He fears it could lead to unpleasant consequences for him.
Dirk says he met other people who wanted to make a living from gold selling and who relied on supposedly secure MMORPGs like Aion or WoW. However, they didn’t yield nearly as much as his cash cow, Guild Wars 2, at least in the beginning. Although Dirk also says: When he adds up the hours, he hardly earned minimum wage.
Dirk is now 23 and a computer scientist with a perfectly normal job. He especially enjoys the much shorter working hours. However, he does miss his time as a gold seller a little.
Dirk says: It was a great feeling to be my own boss and earn money myself. Eventually, Dirk plans to become self-employed again. As it is, he knows by now.
We report here about another case of someone who made money with MMORPGs:
In the Dino MMO ARK Survival Evolved 33% of its servers will be shut down before the release. You can read which servers on PS4, Xbox One, and PC are affected here. The servers that make it to the release will also no longer receive customer support.
On the launch day, a whole bunch of new servers will go online. The old servers will continue as “Legacy Servers,” but will no longer receive customer support.
But not all “old servers” will make it to the launch: one-third of them will be shut down.

Studio Wildcard has decided to shut down one-third of the existing servers of ARK Survival Evolved. The basis for this decision regarding which servers will be affected was player numbers and the popularity of game modes.

Get out – What should you do if you are on such a server?
Players have until August 29 at 6:00 AM to pack their things and move to a “safe server.” This can be done using the Cross-ARK technique. With this, players can upload their items, dinos, and character.
Studio Wildcard recommends doing this immediately.

On August 29 at 6:00 AM, all servers will then be down for about 8 hours.
It should start around 2:00 PM on August 29 (our time). From the shut down servers, a new server cluster will be created, separate from the other legacy servers.
Later, the old servers and the new servers will go live.

But those who are now happy and say “Yay, my server is safe,” should still consider starting on a new server at release.
The “old servers” that make it to the release will become “Legacy Servers,” but will receive no more customer support from ARK. All existing tickets will be deleted, and new tickets will not be accepted.
Information on how the new servers will be distributed, and how many there will be for PvE and PvP has not yet been released by ARK.
Background: Dupe Bug
The reason that the old servers are being treated this way is likely that the existing servers of ARK are affected by a serious Dupe exploit. ARK originally wanted to perform a complete wipe, but decided against it to uphold previous promises.
Instead, they plan to launch a number of new servers at the full release and keep the old ones running. Anyone planning to play ARK at launch should get used to the idea of starting on a new server.
Not much longer, and fans of space games will be able to dive into the universe of the online game Dual Universe.
The date of the Pre-Alpha is set: On September 30, it will be ready, and a first – still very early – version of the MMO will be available.
Those who backed the game from the Gold Founder level will gain access to the Pre Alpha and can get an idea of how far the space game has progressed. Anyone who becomes a Gold Founder by September 7 will also participate in the Pre Alpha.
Star Citizen meets No Man’s Sky
The Pre-Alpha also serves the purpose of gathering as much constructive feedback from players as possible in this early phase to further improve the MMO. This is somewhat comparable to Star Citizen and No Man’s Sky.
You travel through a vast universe consisting of multiple planets where you can land seamlessly. There are no loading times in the game. The CSSC (Continuous Single-Shard Cluster) technology allows millions of players to interact together in this universe.
Build what you want, where you want
The voxel engine allows you to change the world according to your vision. Landscapes can be modified, and you can build structures, spaceships, and even space stations. The size of all this is determined by you. Here, you can act together with other players, but you can also compete against them, which can lead to entire wars.
The official release date of the MMO Dual Universe is planned for 2018.

Kel’Thuzad’s passive ability is Master of the Frozen Darkness and a passive quest. Whenever Kel’Thuzad hits an enemy with Frost Nova or Chains of Kel’Thuzad, he gains a stack of Plague. Reward: At 15 stacks, the cooldown of all basic abilities is reduced by 2 seconds. At 30 stacks, Kel’Thuzad’s ability power is increased by 75%.
Death and Decay creates a sphere that is thrown after 0.5 seconds and explodes on the first enemy hit, dealing damage. It leaves a damage area that deals additional damage over 2 seconds.
The Frost Nova triggers after a 1 second delay, dealing medium damage and slowing affected enemies. Targets in the center of the Nova are rooted for an additional second.
Chains of Kel’Thuzad is a powerful control ability. The hero throws a chain that deals damage to the first enemy hero or structure hit. Then, the chain can be thrown at another target within 4 seconds. Both enemies are then pulled together and briefly stunned.
The first heroic ability is Frost Strike. An ice meteor is thrown at an enemy hero. The target takes low damage, but all enemies in the area take high damage (essentially a reversed Pyroblast). All affected targets are briefly rooted.
The second heroic ability is Shadow Rift. Kel’Thuzad creates a rift somewhere with infinite range that explodes after 1.5 seconds and deals high damage.
And obviously, Kel’Thuzad has also watched a little too much Game of Thrones. Because why else would one call oneself the Lich of Naxxramas, Lich Lord of the Plaguelands, Commander of the flying Necropolis, Head and Founder of the Cult of the Damned, Former Member of the Council of Six, Creator of the Abomination, Summoner of Archimonde the Defiler, Traitor to Humanity, Hearthstone Grandmaster, and Majordomo of the Lich King?

Unofficial video footage of Destiny 2 has surfaced. Among other things, a mysterious vendor can be seen. What is it all about?

Destiny 2 leak video shows gameplay – and a mysterious vendor
At the end of the leaked video from yesterday (We have already reported on the details), the Guardian enters a decaying ruin. At a destroyed window waits an NPC named Devrim Kay who seems to be some kind of representative of the European Dead Zone EDZ.
What stands out: Similar to Destiny 1, this NPC is both a faction member and a vendor. Instead of the legendary gear familiar from Destiny 1, this NPC only offers equipment of normal quality.
Whether this means that factions in later locations will offer rarer loot or if the quality changes after completing the main story is not yet known – but it leaves room for speculation.
Legendary loot when leveling up
In the following image, the Guardian has reached a level up with the faction and thus earned legendary loot. This is analogous to the level ups of the factions in Destiny 1.
The strength of the reward is indicated as 206. Whether this is based on the levels of the Guardians or the recommended strength of this part of the EDZ is also up for debate.
The reward for leveling up the faction is two legendary weapons for the power slot, presumably a shotgun and a rocket launcher.
Mysterious is the third reward – a Dead Zone bark – that is subtitled with shader. Usually, you only need one of these, but here there are two of these items as a reward. Are these weapon or armor shaders? One can be curious!
Also nice: The Glimmer cap has been raised. In the top right of the image, the Glimmer count is indicated as 50,720. Whether this will lead to hyperinflation in Destiny 2 or if Guardians are simply allowed to carry more reserves will be revealed at the latest in September.
The community has wished for NPCs and vendors spread all over the world, with whom they can interact, who give quests and loot, and with whom one can simply chat. This wish seems to have been granted by Bungie.

The release of update 0.71.0 of Pokémon GO will take a bit longer. Niantic has now halted the roll-out.
The new update for Pokémon GO apparently causes many issues. As Niantic now announces, trainers will have to wait longer for the new patch. How long we will have to wait for the release is uncertain. The reason for the delay is latency issues that significantly degrade the gaming experience.
Update 0.71.0 release delayed
Even before the official release of the Pokémon GO update 0.71.0, trainers managed to access the patch by downloading the APK. It became apparent that the update still causes some problems. For example, lag and latency issues are a significant problem.
On social media, trainers pointed out that it is best to avoid the update for now. The gaming experience would suffer greatly from the issues, and it is no fun to battle in arenas with the lags. You can see the lags in this video
Now, the problem has received so much attention that Niantic is stepping in. On Twitter and Reddit, they confirm that they are aware of the latency issues (lags) in Pokémon battles in the new update. For this reason, the roll-out of update 0.71 is paused. It will continue only when a solution to the problems has been found.

On Reddit, Niantic employee “NianticGeorge” writes that these issues affect only a small part of the Pokémon GO community. Nevertheless, they are now working on a solution that ultimately aims to provide a better gaming experience with the new patch.
Trainers relieved – Don’t have to wait for a hotfix
In response to this announcement, many trainers write that they are relieved by this news. There have been many negative messages about the update in recent hours. They feared it would take weeks for a hotfix to come afterward, and they would have to play with the problems until then.
The pause of the update roll-out is received positively. “Better a late update than a bad update”
Trainers who have already downloaded the new APK and are experiencing the issues mentioned should preferably revert the game back to the old version until a solution has been found.

But the developers also prepared something that no one expected – their own cinematic. Not in the typical drawn comic style, but more in the “Pixar” style, as seen in the Overwatch cinematics.

The cinematic gives an impression of the tavern where Hearthstone is played. Here, there is a lot of laughter, plenty of good vibes and of course numerous Hearthstone matches. And for some reason, also musical performances.
Many more cinematics planned
Apparently, this is just the beginning. Blizzard announced immediately after the release of the cinematic that the characters shown will appear in many more stories. There will be “a whole series of cinematics and comics” that will cover stories around the popular tavern. They want to give players the feeling of being “at home” in this place – and therefore bring more stories from the tavern.
Cortyn says: Basically, I think the idea of having some relaxed, funny cinematics and comics about Hearthstone is pretty cool. However, the characters – at least at first glance – lack a bit of soul to really build interest. At least for me, there are currently no burning questions under my fingernails that I want answered. But Blizzard wouldn’t be Blizzard if they couldn’t change that…
For the MMO shooter Destiny 2, a new video has surfaced. It shows gameplay from the European Dead Zone. Apparently, it is a leak.
While Bungie only showcases what everyone already knows at Gamescom, this video is the find of the day. The video features 15 minutes from the new area “European Dead Zone.” It includes a new area, public events, adventures, loot, and more.
The video is evidently a leak from a test environment of Destiny 2 and not meant for you to see it right now.
Apparently, the video comes from a Polish channel, was then taken down, but numerous mirrors are already online. Watch at your own risk – it is naturally full of spoilers.

When a public event is started, the super is automatically charged. This is also helpful because significantly more mobs spawn.
There is a type of “area-limited chest” that contains Glimmer and certain tokens for the European Dead Zone (EDZ).
These tokens can be exchanged at an NPC merchant, Devrim Kay.
Devrim Kay seems to head his own faction, which is tied to reputation. It could be that all planets have their own faction and rewards.
The animations of the NPCs are significantly more developed compared to Destiny 1.
Where there is a leak, there are more. Since this evening, further leaks and information about Destiny 2 are circulating. Apparently, some gaming sites had the opportunity to try out Destiny 2 and see more than what has been shown in the beta and presentations so far.
There is likely a strict embargo on this information, but … the past has shown: Someone always breaks the embargo, and then leaks are on the way. We will surely learn more about that “Destiny 2” stuff that Bungie wanted to keep under wraps until September 6.
