In Hearthstone , the announced nerfs are now live. To make the transition less harsh, everyone receives 100 gold as a gift.
About two weeks ago, the developers at Blizzard revealed how they plan to regain control of the balance in Hearthstone. The Druid had become completely out of control and was considered nearly unbeatable. Therefore, there have been several changes to the most popular Druid cards. However, Murlocs, Shamans, and Warriors also had to face some adjustments.
Here are the changes in detail:
Innervate from the Druid now grants only 1 additional mana for this turn instead of 2 mana. Thus, Innervate is effectively only a coin.
Plague of Murlocs from Druids now has a mana cost increase from 5 to 6. This is intended to slow down Druids a bit. Together with the change to Innervate, casting Plague of Murlocs will become more significant.
The Fiery War Axe of the Warrior is raised from 2 mana costs to 3 mana costs. This means it can no longer be played as early and resembles a Hunter’s Bow – just without additional card text.
Shamans have to deal with a nerf to Hex. The mana cost increases from 3 to 4. This makes the spell much more similar to the Mage’s Polymorph.
A final nerf affects all Murloc fans. The effect of the Murloc Leader is changed. In the future, the Murloc Leader will grant only +2 attack to all other friendly Murlocs instead of +2/+1.
Pirate Day gives 100 gold in Hearthstone
To ease the burden of these changes a little, there is currently a mini-event in Hearthstone – Pirates Day. This is also celebrated in Hearthstone and simply grants you 100 gold coins. With this, you can buy a card pack in the shop or already have a large part of the costs for the next arena round together.
Cayde-6 has new treasure maps in Destiny 2. We show you the locations of the treasures!
Each weekly reset brings you new treasure maps from Cayde-6. The requirement is that you have completed the story campaign of Destiny 2.
Then you can visit Cayde-6 in the Tower Hangar and buy several treasure maps from him for 4800 Glimmer each.
This time you can search and loot treasures on the Saturn moon Titan. In the hides, there can be all sorts of different items, from mods and badges to blue and legendary items, and even exotic engrams! Sometimes there are also strange things like journal entries that you can turn in at Cayde-6.
Locations of the treasures on Titan
Once you have purchased a treasure map, the treasure will be shown to you on the Titan map with a pick symbol. This is what the symbols look like: You cannot mark the locations – that means you only see the approximate location. You will have to search for it on-site yourself.
On Titan, two treasures are hidden in the Solarium, two are in the Rig, and one is on the bridge between the Rig and the Siren’s Watch.
Venero TV shows you the exact locations in the video:

The first players can already start the preload for FIFA 18. Some already have full access.
Every year countless players try to get their hands on the annual FIFA installment as early as possible. After all, every hour counts to gain advantages in Ultimate Team mode or in Pro Clubs. Those who start later are immediately at a disadvantage.
While there are no options to begin before the official release date with pre-orders in the console stores or via Origin, many players try their luck with their trusted retailers. Perhaps a dealer will release a “FIFA 18” disc early, granting the hoped-for early access.
As several users are reporting on the FIFA Reddit forum, some players already have full access to FIFA 18. That is, they already have a copy and can play the new football simulation unlimited. Some are even said to have showcased it in a livestream.
Note: Spoilers ahead!
Gameplay material for FIFA 18 FUT
The reddit user TheAtlasLion9 recorded videos from “FIFA 18” livestreams and uploaded them to YouTube a few hours ago. Here you can see a video showing the start in FUT 18. The game is played on PlayStation:

The video looks “real.” It doesn’t appear to be fake. In the comments, users write that this is definitely real footage from FIFA 18. The question is: How can it be that some users can play already?
It is suspected that these players got early access to a disc version of FIFA 18. That’s the only explanation. This clip, showing FIFA 18 on Xbox, is also making the rounds:

The official release of FIFA 18 is actually set for September 29 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A stripped-down version will also be released on PS3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Switch. Those who pre-order certain editions can start with FIFA 18 on September 26. And those using the paid online services EA Access or Origin Access will get a 10-hour trial version of FIFA 18 starting September 21. This might explain why the servers are already online.
If you are not lucky enough to get an early disc of FIFA 18, you will have to keep an eye on one of these dates for your FIFA 18 start.
Preload phase for FIFA 18 begins
Since September 18, reports have increased that FIFA 18 can be downloaded from the stores. The preload has started. That is, some players can now download the necessary game data to be ready to go at launch.
Currently, it is unclear in which regions the preload is already available. Most reports of a pre-download on PS4 come from North America. The preload option is likely going live in different regions of the world gradually.
On Xbox, the preload is also reportedly already available for some players. According to user reports, it will start on PC via Origin on September 22.
The download is said to be around 40 GB.
Keep in mind that these are not official statements from EA Sports and should be taken with caution. However, the icons you can play in FUT 18 are officially confirmed. These are all the ratings of the icons in FIFA 18!

The last Open Beta date for MU Legend has been postponed, and now there is a guaranteed date. Don’t make any plans for early November!
Originally, the Open Beta of the action RPG “MU Legend” was supposed to start in September. But just before the launch, there was a press release explaining: Hey, we still need a bit more time. Sorry, but we want to offer you a good game.
Now publisher Webzen confirms the official start date for the open beta in early November!
MU Legend OBT – Starting in November
The wait will soon be over: In a press release from Webzen, the developer announces: The open beta test of the global version of MU Legend will start on November 7, 2017.
Since the Open Beta starts as a “soft launch” and no further wipe will occur, this is basically the unofficial start of MU Legend here with us. Tickets for the hype train can be redeemed at Schuhmann.
Developers Invite for Stress Test
To optimize the gaming experience, the developers are collecting more data. To ensure that this happens before the start of the Open Beta, a stress test has been scheduled. Webzen’s COO Dennis Czybulka states, “We cannot adequately test all worst-case scenarios in the lab, so we need our fans’ support to push our server to the breaking point.“
This stress test is set to take place on September 23, and you are invited to participate.

Path of Fire, the new addon for Guild Wars 2, showcases an epic launch trailer that reveals what to expect in the expansion: In addition to an exciting story, there are mounts, new regions, and elite specializations with skills.
Path of Fire is the second major expansion for Guild Wars 2, launching on September 22, 2017. However, it has been unusually quiet around the addon. So quiet that our editor Schuhmann wrote an article on the topic: “Is Guild Wars 2 still relevant as a major title?“.
But slowly it seems that the publisher NCSoft is getting into gear, as the new launch trailer for Path of Fire is impressive!
The official launch trailer does not hold back on spectacular effects and scenes. You will see lots of new mounts, especially the teleporting jackal.
You can also admire the new villain Balthazar and the cool Charr warrior Rytlock. The new elite specializations and their skills are also well represented.
Yarrr! Today is Pirate Day in World of Warcraft – and with a new toy!
Once a year, all pirates gather in Azeroth to let their souls dangle, drink rum in even larger quantities than usual, and splash around with rubber ducks in the sea – on Pirate Day! Only today, on September 19, players can travel to Booty Bay in Stranglethorn Vale to enjoy the festivities with the local pirates.
Captain DeMeza is waiting in Booty Bay for anyone wanting to play buccaneer for a day, offering not only rum but also a little hummingbird for your shoulder. While it’s not a real parrot, let’s not be too picky.
In 2017, there is, for the first time, a new toy from Edward Techt – you can find him south of Booty Bay on the beach. Those who have completed the achievement “Set Sail, Admiral!” can buy the Pirate Flag as a new toy from Edward.
For the achievement, you must have at least a friendly reputation with the Bloodsail Buccaneers – and that’s not very easy. You need to set Booty Bay to “at war” (can be done in the reputation window) and kill goblins until the pirates start to like you. This can take days, if not weeks, depending on what the current reputation status with the pirates looks like (typically deep red “Hated”).
If you do not yet have the required reputation with the Bloodsail Buccaneers, you need to hurry. Because Pirate Day ends tomorrow, on September 20, 2017, at 10:00 AM. Only those who are friendly by then can secure the toy.
Cortyn says: I knew that farming the title “the Insane” would pay off someday – albeit nearly 10 years later. I do feel a little sorry for the players who are now desperately trying to go from Hated to Friendly in one evening. It’s probably best not to try to quest in Stranglethorn Vale today, as most NPCs will be permanently dead.
If both family and Diablo 3 demand attention, it becomes difficult for gamers. This is shown in this TV spot featuring a father, who initially tenderly cares for his wife and daughter. As they prepare for vacation, it becomes clear: Dad has something completely different in mind.
In Diablo 3, you can spend many hours leveling your characters or searching for ancient equipment in large Nephalem Rifts. Nevertheless, other areas of life also demand some attention.
Parents will know the balancing act between gaming and family. In a Diablo 3 advertisement, Blizzard humorously illustrates what this balance might look like.
Diablo 3 Necromancer Commercial with Family
As a father, there are a few tasks on the agenda to make your loved ones happy. Cooking a delicious meal is just as important as playing the fashion advisor for a vacation. In the Blizzard video, a father is shown taking care of these tasks.
However, Dad doesn’t go on vacation, but bids farewell to his family at the bus. Because now begins Dad’s time in Diablo 3! And that involves skeleton minions, curses, and hordes of monsters.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGWjOFIUgJ8
The Necromancer dads pull out their scythes and head to the internet café as fast as possible to start new adventures as summoners together. Finally, they can spend hours in “Greater Rifts” farming new items without that “family responsibility” in the back of their minds.
Do you have a similar balancing act to master in your daily life?
A new skin in Heroes of the Storm gets the fans excited. D.Va as “Destroyer” captures the hearts of players.
Because the Nexus of Heroes of the Storm is quite a wild place, the developers can unleash crazier ideas there than in original games like Overwatch or World of Warcraft. They can merge the two universes and create something entirely new. This was the case with the “Destroyer D.Va” skin, which will likely be implemented in the game with the next patch.
This combines the cheerful heroine D.Va from Overwatch, also known as Hana Song, with an appearance from Deathwing, a.k.a. Neltharion or the Deathwing.
From the once friendly, vivacious, and quite ambitious D.Va, she transforms into a dark Gothic annihilator, whose mech also looks like a dragon.
Destroyer D.Va already popular
And the fans love it! Even before the release, hundreds of fan arts are appearing online, thrilled by this new design. Hardly anyone seems to get enough of the dark variant of Hana Song, who looks more like a threat to humanity – rather than the radiant savior she actually is.
The colleagues at Kotaku have compiled the most beautiful and coolest fan arts, here’s a small selection of them:
If Blizzard finally fulfills the threat from the past and releases the map “Blizzneyland” in Overwatch, it would be the perfect time to grant D.Va this skin in Overwatch as well – as it is sure to be extremely successful already.
What do you think about these “crossover” skins in Heroes of the Storm? Are they a cool thing? Or do they just dilute the flair of the individual games and create a silly mishmash?
Destiny 2 is well received by critics and the press, but what are the player ratings? We asked you in a survey how you would rate Destiny 2 and compared your average rating with the one on Metacritic.
For many players, Destiny 2 is great fun and finally the Destiny they wanted from the beginning. However, other players see the second part more as a remake or just some sort of DLC. The game is by no means a true sequel, as it contains too few innovations.
Destiny 2 – Rating – Significantly more popular with Mein-MMO than with Metacritic
We had two surveys regarding the rating of Destiny 2. One before the Leviathan raid and one after the release of the new raid.
In the first survey, a few days after release, 1,712 readers voted and gave an average rating of 7.35.
After the Leviathan raid, in the second survey, a total of 2,482 votes were cast by you. The average result climbed to 7.745. Thus, Destiny 2 is rated significantly higher by you, the Mein-MMO community, than the global average on Metacritic.
There, Bungie’s online shooter only received an average score of 5.9 (Playstation 4) or even 5.0 (Xbox One). However, only just under 1000 (PS4) and 240 (Xbox One) users voted. The status of the Metacritic rating is from September 18, 2017.

Destiny 2 – What are your highlights? What annoys you?
Among the comments in our survey, many of you agreed that the gunplay and the story of Destiny 2 are great. Especially the gunplay was one of the core elements of Destiny 1 and fortunately remains similarly strong in the sequel.
Some of you find it less cool that the loot spiral has become less interesting due to the fixed perks. The long grind for the perfect weapon was a special incentive for many of you to play Destiny 1. With the fixed perks, it has become less exciting for some long-time fans.
Additionally, some players lament the lack of long-term motivation. Despite the raid, there is simply too little to do in the endgame. The raid, however, was well received by many of you, although some find the loot too sparse.
Guild Wars 2 will soon receive a new expansion, but compared to previous add-ons, this time there is hardly any fuss being made. But how about you? Will you be getting the add-on? Participate in our survey and let us know your opinion.
Imagine an add-on comes out, but no one is interested? Well, it’s not that bad for Guild Wars 2 right now, but the buzz around the new add-on Path of Fire is far less elaborate than it was for Heart of Thorns.
In the comments on this article, it was requested that we conduct a survey about Path of Fire.
Guild Wars 2 – Path of Fire – Are you even interested?
We thought the survey was a good idea, so we have embedded a survey here for you. We want to know if you want to get Path of Fire or not.
You only have one vote in the survey, so consider your choice carefully.
We will write another article later about the results, where we will go through and analyze the individual answers in detail. Have fun voting! If you have more detailed answers, please write them in the comments! We look forward to a lively discussion!
All icons in FIFA 18 with their values can be found here in the list. These are all Icon cards in FUT 18 (Ultimate Team) on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
The icons will be more significant in FUT 18 than ever before. Because there is not only an Icons Edition for FIFA 18, but for the first time, the “Legends,” as the icons were previously called, are no longer Xbox-exclusive. This means that the icons are now available on all platforms (PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch).
With the Icon cards, EA Sports brings back famous star footballers to the virtual pitch, who have shown outstanding performances in the past and left lasting impressions on the world football stage. Meanwhile, these players are no longer active as professionals.
Of each icon, there are three cards with different ratings and values in FUT 18, reflecting various phases in the careers of the former professionals. The three Icon cards of the same player have their own images and can also have different positions. This innovation is called “FUT ICONS Stories.”
But which former players are icons in FIFA 18 Ultimate Team? Here is the complete Icons list.
All Icons in Ultimate Team – Cards and Official Ratings

With Matthäus, a German icon is on this list.
Two card versions of the icons will be available directly at the launch of FIFA 18 in packs. The third versions will be released at specific times during the season. This is the “Prime ICON Version”, which is the best icon version that you can obtain through SBCs and time-limited packs.
This icons list may be expanded throughout the season.
ArcheAge Begins, the high-quality and complex MMO for Android and Apple mobile devices, finally has a release date for Europe. The online role-playing game is set to launch in the global version here in October.
ArcheAge Begins is a complex and complete online role-playing game – only it is not played on PC or console, but on tablet or smartphone. After two beta phases in March and lastly in June, the colorful mobile MMO finally has a release date in the West.
ArcheAge Begins – Complete Online Role-Playing Game for Android and iOS
ArcheAge Begins will be released on October 25, 2017 for Apple and Android smartphones and tablets and can then be downloaded and played for free on the App Store or Google Play in the US/EU.
ArcheAge Begins is also by no means a half-hearted mobile game with pixel graphics.
Instead, the powerful Unreal Engine 4 provides a spectacular presentation with great animations and beautiful effects. In addition to strategic battles, ArcheAge Begins will feature quests, large-scale PvP, and all sorts of typical MMO activities, such as housing, crafting, and fishing.
The story is also not overlooked and takes place many years before the events of the original ArcheAge. The world, the races, and the background should be familiar to fans of ArcheAge.
The initial excitement about Destiny 2 has calmed down. Guardians are still playing with enthusiasm – but critical voices are increasing. Here is our wishlist for upcoming updates!
Bungie has done a lot right with Destiny 2 and has further developed the franchise in significant ways. The ability to see public events directly in the game or to go treasure hunting using the map are great innovations. The beautifully designed locations invite exploration. Not to mention, the story has made tremendous strides in terms of presentation and variety.
In other respects, however, Bungie has not only taken a step back but has completely removed meaningful features from Destiny 1 that we now sorely miss. With the following points, we want to provide suggestions on how Bungie could meaningfully improve Destiny 2 in the coming months.
The Level Progression – fast at first, then not at all
While you follow the really well-made story of Destiny 2, you automatically level up and increase your Power Level. So far, so good. Upon completing the story and reaching Level 20, various opportunities are available for you to continue leveling up.
You can play Strikes, complete public events, scour the Lost Sectors, or complete weekly milestones that allow you to level up. And fast. Really fast. Before you know it, you will have reached at least Power Level 265. And then? Nothing more. At least it feels that way, because the factions and vendors in the world will only give you items that are below your current Power Level from that moment on.
Devrim Kay – the unfortunately useless faction representative at Power 270
Lost Sectors? Free of charge. Even the Strike playlist won’t help you from this moment on. You can now only level up through weekly milestones, exotic Engrams, the raid or through the Trials of the Nine. When you reach Power Level 265 quickly, and the level progression after that feels like sticky gum – especially without any apparent reason – that is no fun.
Even creating a second character of the same class does not help. Except for the quests for exotic weapons, you will only receive drops that are below your current level. It is particularly frustrating when you have just completed a Nightfall Strike, and all rewards are 10 Power Levels below your equipped items.
Whether this is a bug or intentional by Bungie is unknown – but it punishes players who prefer to play multiple characters of a class.
It is unclear why it no longer makes sense to level up the factions at Power Level 270 (unless you are hoping for a specific item), as this eliminates the incentive to explore the world (since you no longer need to collect tokens).
The Trials of the Nine – a way to level up
Players who want to level up will consistently farm public events heroically to level up with exotic Engrams. Why? Because they are the fastest to handle – by far. I am sure this is not the “endgame” Bungie had in mind. While exotic Engrams also drop from other activities, they do not justify the time investment.
Therefore, I wish that the level progression could be possible in more ways. The Lost Sectors were touted as a great innovation by Bungie, but they become completely irrelevant and unworthy at Power Level 270. It can be slower than the way to 265, but it must be steady. This keeps players engaged!
The Leviathan Raid – Great Design, Weak Loot System
The first step into a new raid is always a great experience. Thousands of players also dove headfirst into the adventure with the Leviathan Raid and embraced the battle against the mechanics. The raid is designed to be really varied, and the secret underground offers plenty of room for explorers.
However, the loot system is to be criticized. Whoever at Bungie thought it would be a good idea to introduce tokens that I receive instead of the rewards in the raid, which then have to be exchanged at a vendor in the Tower after the raid, should play the raid themselves and then tell me how much fun they had with it.
The raid area viewed from the start
Nothing is more exciting than comparing the drops among each other after a victorious battle and trying them out. However, in the current Leviathan Raid, the drops are so sparsely scattered that in most cases you only have tokens to show for it.
And you have nothing from these tokens before you have completed the raid. Because the relevant vendor in the Tower will only be unlocked once Calus is defeated. You haven’t finished the raid, but have over 50 tokens? Tough luck, you can’t use them for anything.
The keys that unlock certain chests in the underground are an interesting element in and of themselves. However, the fact that you have to dive into a labyrinth only after finishing the raid to open these chests causes further delays in looting.
Moreover, the special raid weapons do not offer any specific perks for this raid, which increases the incentive to farm them.
So Bungie, please significantly increase the drop rates in the raid and unlock the vendor as soon as you’ve earned the first tokens! In future raids, the weapons should play a more specialized role and not just be existing weapons with new skins that nobody really needs.
Strikes in Destiny are inherently a great thing. Self-contained instances that must be tackled in a fireteam of three players invite speed runs and challenges.
In Destiny 1, the strikes were more or less integrated into the story, many were unlocked only with a certain progression and could be selected individually over the respective location.
All of this no longer exists. There is only the strike playlist now. I myself have not yet seen all the strikes to this day – there is also no reason to play the strike playlist.
A gigantic Vex boss from a strike
Because as soon as you reach Power Level 270, it no longer makes sense to play the strikes since you will not receive any loot that increases your Power Level. There is also no strike-specific loot that you can chase. Furthermore, Bungie has removed the improvement of rewards when you play multiple strikes in a row.
So I wish that Bungie would allow us to select the strikes individually if desired. I also want great loot that is only available in the respective strikes and increases the incentive to play them. A logical integration of the strikes into the story probably won’t be possible anymore.
The positive note first: The vault is significantly larger than it was at the start of Destiny 1. But that is where the good news ends. Instead of the clear tabs in Destiny 1, where everything was neatly separated by weapons, armor, and consumables, in Destiny 2 we experience pure chaos.
There is only one view into which all items go. Unsorted. Whether shaders, mods, ships, sparrows, weapons, armor, etc. – all in one view. Additionally, the entire distribution of items changes as soon as I take one from the vault.
Even the vault at the start of Destiny 1 offered more clarity
What has prevented Bungie from using the vault from the predecessor is beyond my knowledge. What has been presented to us here has neither head nor tail and is simply frustrating.
Bungie – please give us the vault from Destiny 1 back!
The Navigation in the Open World – give us waypoints!
The ability to call up the map in-game and orient oneself is a sensible innovation. However, as soon as I leave the map, I am lost. Which direction was the region chest now? Lost Sector? Call the map up again and take a closer look. I also have no idea where the members of my fireteam are located.
I wish that
waypoints can be placed on the map that every member of my fireteam can see
I can see the exact location of my fireteam on the map, and
the cardinal direction north is marked with an N on the radar. This would significantly improve orientation.
Nothing is more frustrating than having to explain to a colleague where you are based on some scattered boulders.
The Problem with the Missing Grimoire Cards
Yes, the Grimoire cards were not a really elegant solution to tell the exciting lore of Destiny. Bungie has removed these with Destiny 2 and replaced them with items scattered throughout the world that reveal details about the background story after a brief scan.
The Grimoire cards as a lore source
However, I cannot find this information anywhere. Not even on bungie.net, where at least the Grimoire cards could be read. I would therefore like a compendium of all the objects in the game that I have already found, so I can read them again later. Horizon Zero Dawn shows how this can work.
Bungie has sensibly enhanced the official companion app in many ways. In the Companion App for Destiny 1, players could still access dedicated information about their own performance in PvE and PvP content.
This feature no longer exists. Of course, there are external apps that do this job as well, but one should not have to rely on them. I would like to see my own statistics again in Bungie’s app.
Let us know in the comments what changes you would wish for Destiny 2!

The colorful and challenging hero shooter Battleborn is no longer being developed and is practically dead. Jürgen mourns the tragically failed project by Gearbox.
It’s over, Battleborn is dead. Recently, developer Gearbox announced that they will no longer provide updates for the hero shooter. The upcoming autumn update is still coming, then it’s over.
The servers are said to stay online, but with an average of just under 100 players, you really can’t talk about a living game. It is what it is: Battleborn is practically dead.
Battleborn – A cumbersome pleasure
Yet I remember well my first games in Battleborn. I had just returned from a trip to the USA and had already been trying to get a review key overseas. As soon as I was back in the country, I installed Battleborn and started playing happily.
That was rather a mistake. Because on the one hand, Battleborn is a complex game, and on the other hand, I was still suffering from severe jet lag from the flight. 13 hours in economy class with a height of 1.85 meters doesn’t go without a trace. Anyway, I got my ass kicked. Over and over again. I could hardly achieve anything, but still, the game was a lot of fun.
I wanted to delve into the complex gameplay, wanted to test all the heroes, and damn it, I wanted to have a success experience!
Battleborn – It was so wonderfully crazy!
Moreover, I liked the style of Battleborn! When I first saw it in screenshots, I thought for a moment it was a new update for Wildstar – that’s also a favorite of mine.

I just loved the crazy comic style and the cool heroes. Battleborn’s crazy bunch always appealed to me more than the rather Pixar-style trimmed and ultimately quite tame heroes from Overwatch.
Battleborn – The coolest heroes and the best soundtrack!
Would you like a little sample of my hero highlights?
There was a penguin named Tobi, who sat in a mech and had big problems with his self-esteem.
One “hero” was a grumpy old man named Cleese, who even stroked a holographic cat the wrong way. He flew over the battlefield in a comfortable high-tech chair full of weapons.
The tanky Montana was a giant with a tiny head and a thick minigun. A walking parody of all the big, heavy characters in other games.
Another character was the little, fat sparrow Ernest, who spoke like a grumpy sergeant and shot bombs and grenades.
The arrogant robot Marquis was a wealthy snob who greeted his enemies (and teammates) with lines like “You disgust me!” or “Greetings, you wild ones!”.
Also cool: The crazy chaos witch Orendi, who preferred to devour everyone else’s guts and was voiced by the fantastic Ashly Burch (among others Tiny Tina from Borderlands).
The hero Oscar-Mike was the standard shooter soldier. He was so standard that he was just a clone in the game.
One hero was even a ninja mushroom named Miko.
Also fantastic: The cool songs that Gearbox used for the announcement trailers. I even searched for all the songs on Spotify and – together with all the Borderlands songs – condensed them into a playlist that I am now listening to with a heavy heart while writing this article.
If you want to mourn with me, here would be the Spotify embed:

Fitting to the crazy heroes was also the setting of Battleborn. Especially in the otherwise rather bland co-op mode, there were always incredibly funny situations. For example, during the boss fight against the spider robot Geoff, who constantly insists during the fight that he should be called “Arachnis, the Spider King”! Therefore, you can also – completely against all logic – fight him with anti-spider spray!

Or the scene where your loyal AI, which steers your landing ship, catches a virus and then slurs like it’s drunk and scrapes against pretty much every rock wall. Or the opportunity for a really silly (and thus even funnier) pun, where it turns out that “Arms Depots” (actually weapons depots) actually have mechanical arms and greet each other with a brofist.

The fact that the humor did not always come off as family-friendly or politically correct was also a big plus compared to the tame Overwatch and co.
Battleborn – It just wasn’t meant to be
Despite all these features, Battleborn unfortunately could never really engage enough players. While there was still quite a lot happening shortly after the release, the player numbers steadily declined shortly after the soon-to-follow Overwatch release, and soon Battleborn was hardly relevant anymore.
Battleborn will no longer be developed, and even though the servers are still running, there will soon be even less going on there than there already is. It’s really a shame for a wonderful game that deserved more success.
Battleborn is dead, long live Borderlands 3!
On the other hand, every end is also a new beginning. And in the case of Battleborn, this means that now more employees could work on Borderlands 3, the long-awaited new installment of the cult series by Gearbox.
And who knows, maybe we will see one or the other character as a variant in the new Borderlands installment? We will see …

Starting next week, a Faction Rally will begin, dealing with the Future War Cult, the Dead Orbit, and the New Monarchy. What awaits us there will only become clear in the future.

Last weekend marked the first Alpha phase of the Western MMORPG Wild West Online. Some participants have already shared their thoughts on it.
The Alpha of Wild West Online is over. Meanwhile, participants are sharing their opinions on it. However, the developers insist that it must always be mentioned that it is still an unfinished Alpha version and that what was seen is not representative of the final game.
An empty world with little content
There is a general consensus that there is still an enormous amount of work to be done on the game.
Many testers are surprised that there are still plans to release Wild West Online this year. What has been playable so far was seen by many as an extremely early version that needs many more months to even reach beta status. There was essentially hardly anything to do. The world was empty and apart from PvP fights and treasure hunting, there was nothing to do in the Alpha.
How the developers plan to deliver so much content in about three months, so that Wild West Online truly achieves release status, is the big question.
Many buyers are demanding their money back
The developers have given testers the opportunity to get their money back by September 27 if they are not satisfied, and according to Reddit, a lot of buyers are taking advantage of this offer.
Also, according to many players, a lot needs to be done about the animations, as they appear extremely stiff. Another point of criticism was that players hardly encountered each other, which suggests that the Alpha was not very well attended. There were also many bugs, such as horses getting stuck in rocks. Some Reddit users view these problems as confirmation that Wild West Online is a reskin of the controversial game The War Z, which has similar issues and is now called Infestation: Survivor Stories.
Potential is present
However, some testers also believe that Wild West Online does have the potential to become a really good Western MMO. The fundamentals are there, but it mainly lacks content and polishing.
But the question simply arises whether this can really be accomplished in the few months left this year. Therefore, it would not be surprising if the release of Wild West Online gets postponed.
The development team is currently preparing another Alpha that is supposed to bring some improvements and clearer instructions on how to download and start the game and log in. A date for Alpha 2 has not yet been set.

An elderly lady approaches the Nexus. Ana is the next playable hero in Heroes of the Storm. We have her abilities.
A few days ago, Blizzard announced that Heroes of the Storm will thematically focus a bit more on Overwatch soon. This will happen not only through the new map Volskaya Industries but also through Ana and Junkrat as new heroes. First, Ana will be sent into the ring – which is why she now has her own spotlight video.

This will provide a closer look at the abilities. We will briefly introduce them here.
In Overwatch, Ana is a sniper who can heal and also negate healing on enemies – exactly these traits are also given to her in Heroes of the Storm.
Ana’s passive ability is Poisoned Bullets. Every basic attack applies a poison effect to the enemy that can stack up to 5 times. Furthermore, Ana has a longer range than most other heroes.
Healing Arrow is a skill shot that heals the first allied target hit for a moderate amount. The arrow has a short cooldown and pierces all minions and enemy heroes.
Biotic Grenade works similarly to how it does in Overwatch. Ana throws a grenade at a target area. Allies hit are healed and receive 25% additional healing from all sources for a few seconds. Enemies hit take minor damage and cannot be healed for a few seconds.
The Stun Arrow also works like in Overwatch. The arrow is fired in a straight line and puts the first enemy hit to sleep for a few seconds. Damage taken ends the sleep prematurely.
Ana’s first heroic ability is the Nanoboost. This can only be used on allied heroes (not on herself). The target regenerates a large portion of its mana, receives a strong bonus to its ability power for a few seconds, and has drastically reduced cooldowns.
Eye of Horus is Ana’s second heroic ability. Ana goes into a sniper position right at the spot and can fire multiple shots across the entire map. Enemies hit take damage, allies hit are healed.
Mastering Ana is likely to be a challenging task, as she must always be in a good position to have a clear line of sight to all allies.
What do you think of Ana in Heroes of the Storm? A cool addition, or should Blizzard implement more offensive heroes from Overwatch instead?
The Leviathan raid in Destiny 2 provides keys for hidden chests when you succeed in battles. Most of them can be reached and looted solo. We will show you how!
The raid offers plenty of room for explorers. Endless corridors beneath the main area want to be explored and their secrets revealed. In this vast area, you can discover nine chests that have a great chance of exotic engrams. The coveted Imperator tokens can also be found in these chests.
If you want to open one of the chests named after their location, you need the corresponding key. These keys drop after each successfully completed phase in the raid, so a maximum of four per week per character.
The raid area viewed from the start
Which key you receive after a victorious battle is left to chance, but all members of a fireteam receive the same key to encourage exploration of the underground of the Leviathan together.
So you’ve fought your way to Calus after hours of attempts and your fireteam is struggling? Don’t despair – the clever player iPhilamazing has found a way to open most of these chests alone under certain conditions.
You should definitely consider the option of getting the chests alone since the keys are removed from your inventory with each weekly reset. So if no one from your fireteam is available, set off on your own!
Here’s how to activate the levers to unlock the hidden area solo
You can reach the levers by entering a room directly below the starting area of the raid. When arranged from left to right, the correct combination is 1-5-3-2-4-6. To operate the levers alone, you need to be quick. Increase your mobility with appropriate armor pieces to the maximum of 10. If you now also equip the MIDA Multi-Tool, you will be fast enough to reach all the levers in the required time.
The secret passage under the starting point of the raid
With this build, you can get most raid chests solo
The biggest challenge in unlocking many chests comes from the four Guardians that must be taken out nearly simultaneously. If you fail to do so, the Guardians will call for reinforcements and the door to the chest remains locked.
This challenging task can currently be best achieved with a Titan. The player in the video uses the Striker subclass with the code of the Earthshatterer. This code grants two grenades, a crucial aspect for taking out the four Guardians in the shortest time.

Depending on the position of the annoying robots, the player uses flashbang grenades that stick to surfaces – or pulse grenades. Both variants take out the Guardians almost instantly.
For the remaining two Guardians, iPhilamazing uses a grenade launcher, which quickly takes out the Watchers.
You can see exactly how this works in the following video:

Note that it is currently only possible to unlock 8 chests solo. The chest in the pipe section cannot be looted solo.
Currently, there are no known ways to complete this challenge with a Warlock or Hunter. As soon as we have an update on this, the article will be updated accordingly.
