Update 22.12.2017: Blizzard has now deployed another round of hotfixes, which have resolved issues for many players, but some unlucky ones are still experiencing delays with their quests.
The reason for this is the heavy influx of dungeon runs; Blizzard has underestimated fan interest, and these runs are now putting a significant strain on the servers, affecting the delivery of daily missions.
Blizzard is working on further short-term solutions. Until the issue is fully resolved, however, the developers recommend the following steps:
Check your quest log 10-30 minutes after your first login. You do not need to be active during this wait time.
Manually refresh your quest log by accessing it in the main menu.
Play in “Play” or “Arena” mode (the dungeon mode does not show quests).
Free Card Packs as Compensation
One good thing about this situation: In January, Blizzard is giving all players 3 free card packs of Kobolds and Catacombs. Although this does not compensate for the gold that many players lost due to this bug, it at least offers a small consolation.

Since the release of Kobolds and Catacombs, a lot has been going wrong in Hearthstone. However, it’s not just the 135 new cards that are to blame, but also one or two bugs in the game that have crept into Blizzard’s card game.
Since the last major patch, many players have been complaining that they are no longer receiving daily quests and therefore can only slowly accumulate gold to afford new packs or Arena rounds.
Other players, on the other hand, are surprised that they are receiving daily quests in abundance and have managed to complete five, six, or even seven missions in a single day.
Although Blizzard has already made some small fixes that have helped at least some players, there are still numerous complaints that daily quests do not reliably appear.
4 Tips to Possibly Get Daily Quests Back
The colleagues from buffed have gathered some tricks that might help you get your daily missions.
Change Hearthstone to a different language. This can be done in the Battle.net app under Settings → Game Settings. Then start the game.
Change the game region of Hearthstone from Europe to America and back (in America, you do not have access to your collection; it’s like having a “fresh” account).
Start a match in the unranked game mode, end the round during the ongoing game and restart.
Log out of the game multiple times and log back in.

What does the special event offer starting January 5?
When does the event run? It takes place from January 5 at 1 AM to January 8 at 1 AM.
What do you need to do? You need to eliminate named enemies.
The rewards? You will receive additional bonuses when you kill named enemies.
The event is already active. In the game, it will appear on the overview map as a “Double Reward” event.
However, there is one catch: The bonus loot pool does not contain any secret gear sets. In other words, the chance for Classified gear, which is currently the best gear in The Division, will not be increased.

A new balance patch for Overwatch is being tested on the PTR. Mercy and Junkrat are being heavily nerfed!
Last night (01/05/2018), a new patch for Overwatch was deployed on the test servers of the hero shooter. While there are no new features or major highlights this time, there are some adjustments to the game’s balance. Primarily, two heroes are the focus of the changes: Mercy and Junkrat.
Mercy
Valkyrie
During Valkyrie, resurrection is no longer instantaneous.
Valkyrie no longer grants additional resurrection charge.
The speed bonus from Guardian Angel has been reduced by 50%.
The duration of Valkyrie has been reduced from 20 to 15 seconds.
Basically, the developers wanted to take some power away from Valkyrie with these changes. Although opponents could counter Mercy more easily due to the resurrection’s casting time, it was often possible for Mercy to prevent these disadvantages herself with Valkyrie.
Junkrat loses one-shot potential
With Junkrat, there is only one change, but it is likely to have a significant impact.

Hero shooters were in trend – everyone developed one

Around 2014/2015, several studios came up with the same idea: They develop games for the “new trend genre” hero shooter. Overwatch, Battleborn, Paladins, Gigantic, and LawBreakers are basically all hero shooters aimed at fast action: LoL as a shooter.
The problem with hero shooters: The window of opportunity here closed in May 2016 with the release of Overwatch. Blizzard was the first with a polished game on the market. All other games failed more or less, even if they asserted: We have nothing to do with Overwatch, we are a completely different game.
The pull of Overwatch dragged all these other games down to misfortune. Only Paladins could hold as a Free2Play variant. Gigantic and Battleborn are already dead – Lawbreakers de facto as well.

In addition: The taste of players in 2017, when Lawbreakers finally released, had already moved on. Now players wanted a game that is like Overwatch, but without the teammates and with adrenaline in every second and not just during team fights.

But did Lawbreakers really crash in this storm? No, even without PUBG, Lawbreakers wouldn’t have become a hit. They missed the window of opportunity, and in their own genre, there was no more room for a hit besides Overwatch. Currently, practically every second studio is developing a battle royale title. This could be the next gaming bubble that leads studios to disaster. The first game has already cost:
Normally, Guardians look forward to new raid gear for days in advance, and when the raid goes live, they play for weeks with their friends to fill their pockets with the new, exciting loot.
However, this is different with the Eater of Worlds raid: Hardly anyone talks about the raid rewards. In fact, there isn’t a major gaming site or a larger YouTuber who has taken the effort to list the new items. Because: The raid loot is extremely meager.
Although the Eater of Worlds raid is mostly rated positively and as an excellent raid experience, it is hardly worth playing multiple times due to the meager rewards. Let’s look at what rewards it offers.
