There is a new sign of life from Cyberpunk 2077 on Twitter. For the fans, it’s clear: The hot phase is about to begin!
CD Projekt RED is one of the few game developers whose titles fans worldwide look forward to (almost) unreservedly.
Back in 2013, the developer CD Projekt RED announced that they would not only work on The Witcher, but also on a Cyberpunk game set in the future aptly named Cyberpunk 2077. A small teaser trailer was also released in 2013, showing a cyborg woman who apparently has just committed some murders and is now being taken down by the police forces – at least it seems so.
However, it became very quiet about Cyberpunk 2077 afterwards – very quiet. Here and there, individual developers or leaders from CD Projekt RED made statements about the game, such as that it will fundamentally be an RPG but will also have online aspects.
Cyberpunk 2077 returns on Twitter
It was also suspicious that the Twitter account of Cyberpunk 2077 hadn’t said a word since the teaser trailer – until today!
Despite the ambiguous-non-committal statement “*beep*”, the corresponding tweet has already received more than 13,000 likes and nearly 6,000 retweets. In addition, there are hundreds of comments with all sorts of memes – there is joy and excitement.

For the fans, it’s clear: The hot phase of Cyberpunk 2077 is approaching. Alpha or even beta tests may start soon or a new trailer may be released.
However, until there is official information from CD Projekt RED about the game’s progress, these hopes remain wishful thinking.
Ironically, the teaser trailer also said almost 4 years ago that the game would be released “when it’s ready” – that there would be 48 months of silence afterward was probably not anticipated by either the developers or the fans.

The coolest clothes from the Chas Shop in Black Desert Online provide set bonuses, but only when you wear the complete set. This will soon be over.
The cash shop (Pearl Shop) of Black Desert Online has always offered extremely beautiful, elaborate, magnificent, and sexy outfits for your heroes. Additionally, you receive bonuses for a complete costume set. However, you previously had to wear all parts of the set.
So if someone wanted to combine the boots of one set with the pants and top of other sets, they received no bonuses and were left in a difficult position.
Finally, an end to the forced dress code
The developers at Pearl Abyss want to change this “dress compulsion” soon. According to the new system, you will receive bonuses even if you wear different set pieces. Moreover, there should already be smaller bonuses if you do not wear a complete set.
With the new set mechanics, you will receive improvements even if you wear 4 or 6 parts. The maximum bonus is achieved with 8 pieces, regardless of which sets the pieces come from. The bonuses are:
4 Items: +10 percent combat XP
6 Items: additionally +10 percent talent XP
8 Items: additionally +10 percent durability and 10 percent less death penalty
Beware of sets with multiple slots!
Set effects for outfits from the cash shop cannot be stacked with the effects of costumes (except for the canopy costume). Costumes that occupy multiple slots must still be worn as a complete set to receive all set bonuses. Additionally, you will soon be able to purchase individual parts of a set from the cash shop and will not need to acquire the entire set at once.
Note: Some costumes, such as life-skill clothing and crafting dresses do not have such set bonuses.
Here’s everything about the new set bonuses in a useful graphic.
Are you new to Monster Hunter World and having trouble finding your way? Then the “Adopt-A-Hunter” program might be interesting for you. Here, veterans help newcomers to better understand the complex action RPG.
Monster Hunter World is an action RPG with a lot to learn:
Fighting monsters becomes very tactical, especially as the game progresses. The creatures in Monster Hunter World are designed like MMORPG bosses and offer a wide range of attacks, movements, and escape behaviors. There are also elemental advantages and disadvantages assigned to monsters. Some creatures, for example, are vulnerable to ice or electricity.
In Monster Hunter World, hunters do not have special skills available. Each becomes stronger through their weapons, equipment, and items. The equipment is made in a forge and requires the gathering of loot. This includes body parts of the monsters, such as bones or teeth. The equipment can be further specialized and upgraded. Weapons are divided into classes in Monster Hunter World, with different strengths.
The combat system and the movements of the hunters can be difficult for newcomers to grasp. The huge weapons strike slowly, and the characters move clumsily. Especially the controls can be intimidating at first for many and need to be learned.
The environment affects the hunt. This will be further expanded in Monster Hunter World than in its predecessors. Hunters need to be familiar with weather conditions and the landscape to be successful.
“Adopt-A-Hunter” aims to help new players get started in Monster Hunter World
The first “Monster Hunter” title was released back in 2004. Since then, a loyal fan community has formed that is well-versed in the franchise and all gameplay mechanics.
The veterans know how difficult it can be to get a foothold in Monster Hunter.
That’s why experienced hunters have decided to establish the “Adopt-A-Hunter” program. Here, new players are matched with seasoned veterans who offer personalized assistance tailored to each player.
Woulfe Condra is a co-founder of the program. He explained to Polygon that many new players give up quickly in Monster Hunter. There is simply too little information about individual mechanics and too many obstacles.
He himself has encouraged several friends to start with a title from the “Monster Hunter” franchise. In his experience, the entry is much more pleasant when someone explains the basics. Condra has often seen initially frustrated players become huge fans of the franchise.
Localization allows for a German use of the program
The website and Discord of the “Adopt-A-Hunter” program are in English. However, the teams are working with language localization. So, if a German newcomer wants to participate in the program, they will also receive a German adoptive veteran.
This is how “Adopt-A-Hunter” is structured:
Veterans and newcomers, also called novices, can register on the website. The veterans sign up to help, and the novices to receive help.
“Adopt-A-Hunter” helpers pair individual players to work in pairs. The veteran and the novice can then contact each other.
One criterion for pairing players is localization. The volunteers pay attention to which language the respective players speak. Communication should proceed without a language barrier.
If you are interested in becoming part of the program, you can best check out the official “Adopt-A-Hunter” Discord .
What do you think of such a community program? Can you imagine using “Adopt-A-Hunter”?
In the fantasy MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online (PC, PS4, Xbox One), data miners have uncovered the possible location of the storyline for the next ESO expansion.
It is known that ESO is planning an expansion in 2018. This is said to bring around 30 to 50 hours of content, come to the stores, introduce a new area, and likely include a feature or a new class in The Elder Scrolls Online.
Such an expansion, a chapter, is important for ESO to remain relevant and to bring new blood into the game. Zenimax aims to create a new entry point for fresh players each year, including a new tutorial and an enhanced entry experience.
Last year, “Morrowind” was released as such a chapter, which was well received by ESO players. But where are we going in 2018?
Warning Spoiler Alert: If you don’t want to know where it is likely going, you should stop reading here.
Data miners find clues
As possible locations for the expansion, fans have nominated Murkmire, the land of the Argonians, and the Summerset Isles, the homeland of the High Elves. It seems that Zenimax will fulfill the wish of one of the two groups.
As data miners revealed on reddit, they have discovered a prologue quest that is said to lead to the Summerset Isles. This would mean that the expansion would focus on the Aldmeri, the High Elves of The Elder Scrolls Online.
In the prologue mission, players board a boat that takes them to a meeting with an oracle, from where the new chapter starts.
New Aldmeri Armor
This information is likely hidden in patch 3.3.0, which has now been released on the PTS, allowing testing of the upcoming DLC Dragon Bones.
Whether the Summerset Isles will actually be the setting for the next expansion, which is likely to arrive mid-year, we do not yet know for sure. Last year, the secret about Morrowind was revealed by data miners long before the official presentation.
What we know for sure is the next DLC Dragon Bones and what it will bring:
A trio of Overwatch women dominated in 2017 in a special area: in the search for gaming characters on a major adult website. They push figures like Lara Croft or Zelda to the back seats.
The adult site Pornhub analyzes trends and searches every year and approaches this as analytically as if it were about world hunger. Results are listed in countless categories. They analyze how search behavior has changed over the past year and how the world behaves pornographically.
Overwatch Leads in the Adult Gaming Sector
Overwatch has apparently occupied a special place in the adult sector. Blizzard has created a “diverse” cast with numerous striking characters, including and especially female characters. The stated goal of Blizzard was to create figures that as many people as possible can identify with, rather than mere stereotypes.
This seems to have worked out for Blizzard on a broad front. This leads to
Blizzard selling merchandise with the characters like crazy,
With D.Va, Mercy, and Tracer occupying the first 3 of the 5 top spots. The later spots are followed by Widowmaker, Sombra, and Pharah.
The selection is quite broad:
D.Va is like the Korean gamer girl next door
Mercy an adult, motherly, caring, but also somehow strict figure
and Tracer is tomboyish and youthful, having been outed as homosexual by Blizzard at Christmas 2016
Interesting is that Tracer reached the peak of her interest in January – while Mercy only peaked in October.
PlayStation 4 is the Most Popular Gaming Console on Pornhub
By the way, among the gaming consoles, the PlayStation 4 is leading and has been able to further increase its lead over the Xbox One. A German gaming site wrote about this statistic last year, “PlayStation 4 has the most masturbators.” Of course, we would never dare say that.
In this article, we have discussed extensively the phenomenon of Overwatch and sex:
In The Division 1.8 there are new ways to create a strong tank build. Here you will find a build that keeps you and your team alive in PvP.
A tank is responsible for bravely standing at the front line and taking the hits for their teammates. They can then shoot at the enemies from the background.
As a tank in The Division, you need to skill yourself in such a way that you are hard to take down. This is especially effective with a Ballistic Shield and the D3-FNC Set, the defensive set. The Division expert MarcoStyle now presents a tank build in the video that relies on these two components:

The Ballistic Shield was extremely buggy for a long time, earning it a pretty bad reputation among agents. Even today it has a bitter aftertaste, which is why many players avoid this skill. However, in 1.8, it is worth giving the shield another chance.
This build is primarily designed for combat in PvP and in the strike team. This allows you to position yourself between your teammates and the enemies.
You need all six parts of the secret D3-FNC set. This was added to the loot pool with the Global Event 3. Once you have equipped all six parts, you will receive the following bonuses:
2-set bonus: +15% protection against elites (has no use in PvP)
4-set bonus:Talent – Allows the use of an SMG when a ballistic shield is active. Only the master rank shield mod is active. The shield’s hit points are increased by 57% for every 3000 stamina.
When the ballistic shield is active, melee attacks are strengthened by 2000% (not particularly useful)
Every over-heal benefits the shield as healing.
If you receive a certain amount of physical or exotic damage, the shield grants a buff to all allies within 15 meters for 6 seconds. The duration of the buff is extended by 2 seconds for every 3000 stamina of the user. The buff does: If you receive physical damage, armor is increased by 30%. If you receive exotic damage, weapon damage is increased by 30%.
If you have more than 9000 stamina, the ballistic shield hit points are additionally increased by 200%.
This set significantly increases the resilience of the shield. To get the most out of it, you should:
over 9000 stamina
and 120,000 skill strength (this also improves the shield, values above 120,000 skill strength, however, do not further improve it).
Your agent should have similar attributes to those shown in this screenshot: You can achieve this with the following armor pieces:
Chest piece: Stamina and bonuses for skill haste, hit points, and ammunition capacity
Mask: Stamina and bonuses for skill strength and burn resistance
Knee pads: Stamina and bonuses for skill strength and various resistances
Backpack: Firearms and bonuses for skill strength and one resistance
Gloves: Stamina and bonuses for crit damage, SMG damage, and skill haste
Holster: Bonus on skill haste
Increase stamina, skill haste, or skill strength with the mods. Also use mods for ballistic shield damage resistance.
The weapon of the build
With the D3-FNC set, you can wield an SMG while the shield is active. Therefore, only one weapon is crucial for the build. And a look at the best weapons in The Division 1.8 shows that there is only one powerful option among the SMGs: The House, a new SMG in 1.8.
The House with Deadly (+15% crit damage), Persistent (damage increases based on missing health), and Card Counter (one half of the magazine deals 20% increased damage. The half that deals 20% more damage switches every 15 seconds or when the magazine is empty). You need just under 4000 firearms to unlock the talents.
When it comes to weapon mods, make sure to increase crit damage, crit chance, and headshot damage.
The skills of the build
The skills:
Ballistic Shield
Sticky Bomb with Disruptor
Survivor Link for increased damage resistance
Healing skills should be provided by your teammates.
The character talents:
Adrenaline: First-aid kits grant 7 seconds of immunity to status effects
Rescue Medicine: A first-aid kit at low health increases damage resistance for 10 seconds by 20%
Field Medic: Use a first-aid kit near allies to heal group members within 20 meters by 40%.
Precision: A headshot on an enemy triggers a pulse effect.
All this leads to an extreme increase in your toughness and the resilience of your ballistic shield. Especially when you activate the survivor link and also have the 6-set buff active. The latter is triggered quite quickly in PvP, so your team often receives a short-term armor buff. In addition, you deal good damage with The House, allowing you to not only take hits but also deal them.

What is the Team of the Week (TOTW) in FIFA 18 Ultimate Team?
Every Wednesday, EA Sports reveals the Team of the Week in the “Ultimate Team” mode of their annual football simulation. This is also true for FIFA 18. In this, players who showed outstanding performances in last week’s real football are rewarded with special cards that have improved attributes.
You can pull the TOTW cards within a week from the packs, which may contain Rare (Gold) players. However, the chance of doing so is low. Additionally, you can buy them on the transfer market if they are offered by other players. However, the prices are usually extremely high.
The Team of the Week 17 is available in packs from 1/10 at 19:00 until 1/17 at 19:00.

While these predictions never fully align with the official TOTW, it can be risky to act on them in the transfer market. Nevertheless, they provide a good overview of which players might receive the coveted special cards.

For many years he was the operator of the site Vanion.eu, which was one of the first points of contact for many German fans seeking information and guides about World of Warcraft.
Vanion was not only active as a streamer but also regularly fed his site with columns and guides. He often interviewed developers of World of Warcraft and was thus able to gain exciting insights or bring pressing questions from players directly to the topic.
No matter how you look at it: Vanion was an important member of the German WoW community.
The community wants an in-game memorial
Some fans of the German WoW player base care about Vanion so much that they wish Blizzard would honor him for his work – through a memorial in World of Warcraft.
Such memorials to important community members or former developers exist in World of Warcraft by the dozens.
The community member Dennis Kiefer has now started a petition on change.org, seeking supporters to make this wish come true. If enough signatures are collected, the idea goes, Blizzard might then create a memorial to Vanion in World of Warcraft.
Currently, the petition has already collected over 2,000 votes, and the number is growing rapidly.
The Overwatch League is the event with which Blizzard wants to establish its hero shooter in eSports. It is also the event that our author Benedict is looking forward to the most this year. Here are 5 reasons why he thinks the Overwatch League will be great!
Tonight, one of the most important eSports events of Overwatch begins: the Overwatch League. 12 teams are fighting for victory and a steep career in pro gaming. Among the competitors are also well-known names.
But why exactly should the league interest eSports fans?

The first reason why the League not only interests me but excites me is so simple: It means more eSports. Blizzard invests many resources in broadcasting and promotion to ensure interest.
And obviously, it works. The seats in the arena specifically built for the League are already filled for the first days, the tickets sold out. There is a demand that is exhilarating. A nerd championship, so to speak.
Such an event would mean a boost for eSports in general. Sponsors and broadcasters are taking notice, and in Germany, more and more companies are entering eSports. For anyone wishing for a future in mouse sports, this is a great thing! And I wish for such a future.
The teams of the Overwatch League not only represent the players and their sponsors but also cities around the world! Although strictly speaking, only the owner of the team is truly connected to the respective city. But anyone cheering for a team is also rooting for the city’s victory – and those who can’t decide on a team will choose a city they like!
This is a clever move by Blizzard. Like in local sports, this will also draw in less eSport-affine and not-yet-fans to show interest – although this mainly applies to the USA.
However, this hides two major advantages. First, this local attraction affects the size of the event: more fans mean more relevance. Secondly, the concept is an incentive for further, possibly smaller tournaments with a similar system. That can spread eSports.
3. New Faces
As someone who engages extensively and gladly with eSports, I am mostly familiar with the names of the most successful players in Overwatch. Even those who are just casually interested probably know the names of most teams and their players, as there is little change at the top. The names of the top players change rarely.
But in the Overwatch League, the most well-known teams and players do not play, but the best in the world in new teams. The teams present some players whose names you might not necessarily know. They fight alongside stars like Seagull, ShaDowBurn, or sinatraa.
Besides the fresh wind in the Major League of Overwatch, this brings the chance for more variety in hero selection. Overwatch becomes more diverse and multifaceted as a game and as a sport! This can only promote the growth of the League and promises even more new talents to make a name for themselves.
EnVyUs after their victory at the Overwatch Contenders.
4. Fresh Wind
Together with the new players, new playstyles also take the stage of Overwatch eSports. The rough edges of the old hands offer little variety, but the new players can pleasantly surprise – maybe even with the entire team.
At least I hope so. With the number of equal and high-quality teams, I can’t imagine that only comparisons are made on who masters the meta best. I look forward to unexpected strategies and crazy tactics that bring victory – or simply entertain!
5. Overwatch League Skins and Goodies
Lastly, and not unprejudiced … Through the Overwatch League, new team skins will come into the game for the first time, allowing me to openly show my support for the LA Valiants. I don’t need luck for this; I can specifically buy the skin – like any fan of a specific team.
It’s a fitting and cool idea to bring a counterpart to fan jerseys into eSports. One can immediately draw a parallel to “real” sports, and at the same time, it is clear that it is still something special. After all, they are digital goods.
In summary, I believe that the Overwatch League is doing a lot right. The entire tournament resembles a sports event more than a LAN with a few geeks. It shows that eSports is more than just gaming with a few spectators.
It is a new way, a new area of sports that has finally established itself and can no longer be denied! Good!

In the MMORPG Guild Wars 2 (PC), there are loot boxes that contain more or less useful items. These boxes are now supposed to contain guaranteed items and consolation prizes, making them a bit fairer.
Loot boxes have caused trouble for Buy2Play games since the controversy surrounding Battlefront 2. This also applies to Guild Wars 2. In ArenaNet’s Buy2Play MMORPG, there was recently stress due to special RNG boxes for mount skins.
To make the boxes a bit fairer and to placate the players, the developers have adjusted the mechanics of the loot boxes.
Guaranteed Items and Consolation Prizes
The “Black Lion Chests,” the loot boxes from Guild Wars 2, now contain at least two random items and one guaranteed seasonal item, plus a Black Lion figurine. The figurine is a sort of consolation prize that does nothing on its own. However, you can use the figurines as trade currency and specifically exchange them for coveted items.
Among the trade items are useful things like teleports to friends, makeover kits, and even skins. However, keep in mind that you often need quite a few of such figurines, and even inexpensive items, like the teleport, cost 5 figurines.
An Expensive Fun?
Opening a chest costs about 1.50 Euros. So, you have to invest quite a bit of money into chests to benefit from the figurines. This new system is particularly worthwhile for people who open a lot of boxes.
Additionally, there is a free loot box with a key for all players who log in and have purchased either the base game or one of the two expansions.
What do you think of the changes to loot boxes in Guild Wars 2? Useful and fair, or just a negligible consolation prize?
After the latest PvP update, the developers of MU Legend are now focusing solely on the full version. A release of the Diablo-like MMORPG is expected in the coming months.
Since the update on January 9, you can participate in the faction war in MU Legend. A special experience for players who enjoy PvP features. At the same time, the team announces that they are now focusing on the full version, which represents the next milestone.
After PvP, the release is now the big goal
The major faction war update is active in MU Legend and invites PvP players to compete with other guilds. You fight with other guilds for dominance on your server. This is done by conquering areas and expanding realms.
Dennis Czybulka, COO of Webzen, explains that the faction war update completes the OBT version. In Korea, this expansion was already a great success and the team is eager to see how the rest of the world receives this content.
“This is the last update for the OBT of MU Legend. From now on, we will focus solely on the official release of MU Legend, which will include the long-awaited new class, the “Spellbinder,” who will finally see the light of day.” adds Czybulka.
When will the Open Beta Test of MU Legend end? The full release of MU Legend is planned for Q1 2018. Then your characters will transition to the full version and you can continue battling there.
There will be no wipe! Through the soft launch, you can take all characters, equipment, etc. to the full version. Your progress from the OBT has not been in vain.

The website MassivelyOP asked readers in a survey about the most anticipated MMORPG for 2018 – and Shroud of the Avatar almost made it. But alleged electoral fraud got in the way of victory.
It is indeed paradoxical to nominate a game for the most anticipated MMORPG 2018, when it is stated in the FAQ of the Kickstarter campaign “Although Shroud of the Avatar will not be a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game, it will be a multiplayer game.” However, the developers now consider the game an MMORPG.
In the end, Shroud of the Avatar managed to close the gap significantly and even fought its way to the first place. The game owed this to the community, which mobilized all active players in the official forum, via Steam, and also in the game itself. In the end, 387 votes were collected.
Nevertheless, the first place ultimately went to Crowfall. The editors of MassivelyOP explain that there were discrepancies during the voting. It is suspected electoral fraud because most votes for SotA were suddenly cast one morning. Of course, the game’s community is now greatly disappointed.
In Mein MMO Survey, SotA Not Even in the Top 10
By the way: In the Mein MMO survey for the “Most Anticipated Online Game 2018”, Shroud of the Avatar – without support from the SotA community – didn’t even make it into the Top 10. This shows how the tastes of readers differ from site to site, demonstrating that a lot depends on whether the active communities of the games promote their game in such surveys or not.
Potential Flop 2018?
In contrast, Shroud of the Avatar took second place in another survey by MassivelyOP. This one focused on potential flops of 2018. First place, by the way, was occupied by Star Citizen.
This survey and of course the ranking upset the fans of the online role-playing game SotA a lot, and they do not want to accept it, as only about 200 people cast their votes.
In our guide about coloring the Chocobo in Final Fantasy XIV, we explain how to give your mount the right look.
Final Fantasy XIV follows the tradition of the offline FF games and gives the player their own Chocobo, which becomes a loyal companion and ally as they level up. In this guide, we explain one of the ways to customize your Chocobo: coloring.
How to get a Chocobo and color your mount
Once you have completed the main story quest at level 20 in FFXIV and joined a Grand Company, the quest “My Little Chocobo” becomes available at the respective Chocobo stalls. For this quest, you buy a Chocobo license from the Grand Company Quartermaster for 200 Company Seals, give it to the Chocobo vendor, and Olé!: you have a bird.
Now the game gives you the dilemma of naming this bird and customizing it in other ways. One of the ways is coloring the feathers, which is far from intuitive.
Coloring works according to the usual RGB system. The default color of the bird is desert yellow with RGB values of 219/180/87. So if you don’t want your proud steed to look like a running banana, you have to feed the Chocobo very specific fruits that affect the RGB values of its feathers.
There are two ways to get the fruits:
You can buy them directly from the market board under “Mixed”.
You can get the seeds from the Grand Company Hunt Master and plant them in your own garden (available only starting from level 50).
Each fruit has its own effect on the RGB value of the Chocobo’s feathers. Here is an overview table:
Fruit
Effect
R/G/B
Cieldalian Pineapple
Decreases the blue tone and increases the green and red
+5/+5/-5
Xelphatol Apple
Increases the red tone and decreases the blue and green
+5/-5/-5
Doma Plum
Decreases the red tone and increases the blue and green
-5/+5/+5
Val Fruit
Decreases the green tone and increases the blue and red
+5/-5/+5
Mamook Pear
Increases the green tone and decreases the blue and red
-5/+5/-5
O’Ghomoro Berry
Increases the blue tone and decreases the red and green
-5/-5/+5
The Han Lemon resets the color of the Chocobo back to “Desert Yellow”.
If you start from the default color and give the Chocobo, for example, 4 O’Ghomoro Berries, then the blue value of the feathers increases by 20 points, red and green decrease by the same amount, resulting in a new RGB value of 199/160/107. The game then adjusts these values to the closest matching color in the system. Therefore, the goal is to feed a combination of fruits that brings the RGB value as close as possible to the desired color.
Sounds complicated, but it isn’t. In the end, you just stuff the bird with the specified amount of fruits until its feathers reach the desired RGB value.
To be able to feed the Chocobo at all, you first need to put it in a stable; it doesn’t matter whether it’s your own or the Free Company’s. However, you need to pay attention to the following:
You should carefully watch which fruits you give to the Chocobo and ideally administer them alternately to avoid accidentally exceeding one of the RGB values over 255 or below 0.
If you exceed an RGB value over 255 or below 0 while feeding, the recoloring will fail.
The bird must spend at least 6 hours (real time) in the stable after successful feeding. Only then will its color change.
If you made a mistake, you can remove the Chocobo from the stable to abort the coloring process.
If you have already fed your bird and are unsure what RGB value its feathers have, you can use the Han Lemon to reset the color back to “Desert Yellow”.
The tables below show you the exact amounts of fruits that you need to give the Chocobo to achieve the desired color. The RGB value of “Desert Yellow” is the base color.

An overview of what is happening in Final Fantasy XIV in 2018 can be read here:
The developers of Pokémon GO are discontinuing support for some older Apple devices that do not support iOS 11.
Pokémon GO is becoming increasingly modern, utilizing new features of iOS operating systems to enhance the game. Those who cannot keep up will be left behind. For this reason, trainers with outdated Apple iPhones and iPads will soon be unable to play Pokémon GO.
We will show you which devices are affected by this exclusion.
iPhone 5 and Pokémon GO part ways
In a blog post, the developers of Pokémon GO explain that they will discontinue support for some Apple devices in an upcoming update.
Affected are iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c models with the model identifiers:
The reason for the changes is the latest enhancements in Pokémon GO that require features of the iOS 11 operating system. Since the aforementioned devices do not support these features (as they cannot be updated to iOS 11), support will be discontinued.
Niantic wants to ensure that trainers have the best possible gaming experience.
Trainers with outdated devices will be unable to utilize these features and may experience issues and bugs in the game. Such decisions are driven by the progress of technology.
A new theory has solid evidence that in WoW it is not Azeroth that is in danger – but the Moon Goddess Elune is slowly being corrupted.
During the time “between” two expansions of World of Warcraft, fans spin many theories about the future of Azeroth. While some are quite absurd and can be easily refuted, there are indeed well-thought-out theories with substantial evidence that cannot be easily dismissed.
Basically, the theory of the YouTuber Pyromancer suggests that it is not Azeroth that has a major problem with corruption, but Elune.
He has gathered hints of this in the last major raid instances. In the Tomb of Sargeras, there is a fight against the Sisters of the Moon. The battle takes place on a platform that clearly represents the moon and thus Elune. As a result, we have a pretty accurate idea of what the surface of the moon looks like, what craters it has, and what special geological formations look like.

Comparing these formations with other representations in the game reveals parallels. For instance, from Elunaria, the planet where Eonar’s soul was hidden, you can also see two moons. What looks like random planets are in fact Elune and the blue child – the moons of Azeroth.
However, Elune looks strange from Elunaria. There are purple lines that stretch across the moon, strongly reminiscent of the corruption of the Old Gods.
On the left “Elune” in the Tomb of Sargeras, on the right in “Elunaria” in Antorus. The image snippets show the same craters.
Shadow Priests receive special treatment again in the Tomb of Sargeras. After the battle against the Sisters of the Moon, they are urged by their artifact weapon Xal’atath to draw power from Elune (Xal’atath wants to corrupt this power). However, if the Shadow Priest tries this, they are immediately killed by Elune.
However, it is also possible that Blizzard has repeatedly used the planet texture of the moon, assuming that players wouldn’t notice. The fact that both Elune and the blue child can be seen from “Elunaria” clearly indicates that Elunaria is near Azeroth.
Starseer Etraeus
The fight against Starseer Etraeus in the Nighthold has fueled many speculations, as he shows different planets in his three phases that have either been corrupted by the Old Gods or the Legion.
For a long time, it was thought that the corrupted planet was Azeroth – but upon closer inspection, this does not seem to be the case. For the texture of the corrupted planet seen by Etraeus resembles Elune from the Tomb of Sargeras and Elunaria!
On the left the planet in the fight with Etraeus, on the right in Elunaria – both have the same patterns. Is this Elune?
This would also only make sense. Since the observatory is located on Azeroth, it would be strange if we were to see Azeroth from there.
The most likely theory is that Etraeus’s observatory is capable of piercing the veil around Azeroth (more on this later).
More planets than we can see
At the same time, Pyromancer points out another strange fact: We cannot see from Azeroth what we should be seeing.
From Azeroth, we can only see a few planets in the sky – namely Elune, the blue moon, and the sun, as well as temporarily Argus through a tear in space. However, there are many more planets in the immediate vicinity of Azeroth!
Etraeus shows us that there are many planets around Azeroth.
How do we know this? In the game, there are many star maps. For example, in Ulduar, they can be admired or in the Tomb of Sargeras. Even the Nightborne have many structures that represent star maps, where several planets can be identified.
But why can we not see all these planets, which are apparently already surrounded by the tentacles of the Old Gods? The answer to this question brings us to the next point: the veil around Azeroth.
The veil surrounding Azeroth
An important question posed by Pyromancer in the video is why we cannot see all these planets from Azeroth? After all, players have been observing the sky for years and only see three celestial bodies: the moon (Elune), the smaller blue moon (“the blue child”) and the sun.
The “veil” around Azeroth and planets we cannot see from Azeroth.
The reason for this is easily found: The inhabitants of Azeroth are not supposed to see the other planets. There is a veil surrounding Azeroth that prevents certain things from being seen. From an outside perspective, they are perceptible, but as long as one is on Azeroth, they cannot be recognized.
There is even concrete evidence for the veil that has been in the game for a long time. For example, if one looks at the world map showing the three playable planets (Azeroth, Draenor (WoD), Broken Isles), only Azeroth is surrounded by a thick fog, apparently created by Aman’thul.
Azeroth is surrounded by a strange fog – even on the world map.
In summary, the theory is based on two important points:
Elune is being corrupted, possibly by the Old Gods.
There are many more planets in close proximity to Azeroth that are already corrupted.
Whether there is any truth to this theory, we will likely find out in the coming months when Battle for Azeroth kicks off!
What do you think about this theory? Does it make sense and feel consistent to you? Or do you need a very large tin foil hat to believe it?

The League Skins for Overwatch have arrived. We will tell you which ones are available, what they cost, and how you can get them!
Fans have long waited and speculated about the costs of League Tokens and how they will be implemented in Overwatch. Since last night (January 9, 2018), there is a new menu item “Overwatch League” in the main menu of Overwatch, under which all skins can be purchased. But what are the new League Skins about and what do they cost? We reveal all the details in this article.
What are the Overwatch League Skins?
Blizzard is hosting its own eSports tournament with the Overwatch League and has spared no expense or effort to make the event as glamorous as possible. This also means that all 12 participating teams receive complete color schemes for all characters – that is, 26 skins in the team’s colors, sometimes even adorned with the team’s logos.
How do you get Overwatch League Skins? What do they cost? What are League Tokens?
The Overwatch League Skins are not available in loot boxes. They can be purchased individually for 100 League Tokens in the game.
The League Tokens can only be purchased for real money as a new premium currency in Overwatch.
100 Tokens cost 5€ (= 1 Skin)
2,600 Tokens (= 26 Skins, or all skins of a team) are available at a reduced price of 100€.
Players receive 100 League Tokens for free once when they log into Overwatch before February 13. This allows a desired skin to be purchased for free.
If someone wants to own all the Skins of the Overwatch League, they will need 31,200 League Tokens – or 1,200€!
When purchasing skins through League Tokens, a portion of the profit is paid out to the teams whose skins you purchase. So if you want to support your favorite team, you can consider buying one or another skin.
Highlights among the League Skins
Regardless of the favorites at the Overwatch League, fans have already chosen some skins that look particularly cool. Here is a small selection of the most popular skins from the Overwatch League.
What do you think of the Overwatch League skins and will you buy any? Or do you find the skins boring and don’t want to spend money on Overwatch?
Veterans will remember: In Destiny 1, the week around Valentine’s Day was celebrated with a special event in 2016. Bungie now confirms that the Crimson Week will return in Destiny 2 !
What is Crimson Week?
The “Crimson Week” event is meant to celebrate Valentine’s Day. For this occasion, the Tower was festively decorated with roses and hearts back in February 2016. New cosmetic items were introduced, and a special PvP mode was held.
This Crucible mode was playable only as a “Couple”; you had to find your partner yourself – there was no matchmaking.
The special thing about this mode called Crimson Doubles was the modifier “Broken Heart”: When your partner dies, you are driven by vengeance, you glow red, can draw your weapon faster, and recover from damage taken more quickly. This way, seemingly lost matches could still be turned around.
During Crimson Week in Destiny 1, the Tower was completely wrapped in red
In the game files on PC, clear hints have now been discovered that Crimson Week will return in Destiny 2. The information was compiled by Redditor Ginsor. He found symbols and text lines that explicitly refer to it.
At first, there was uncertainty whether this was a well-made fake. But now Bungie’s Community Manager Cozmo confirmed on Reddit that Crimson Week will return. The rumors are true, he writes. The event will not play out exactly like in 2016, but yes, Crimson Week is coming back. More official information will be available on Thursday.
Can we expect only cosmetic items again?
The Redditor Ginsor, who published the information, speaks of many new cosmetic items and a direct link to Eververse. He supports this with scripts he found in the depths of the game files (freely translated):
Guardians honor their indestructible bonds with their partner on and off the battlefield by participating in the Crucible event Crimson Week. But first, follow the rose petals in the Tower to Tess Everis – she has something for you.
“Talk to Tess Everis to receive your first Crimson Week Engram as a gift!”
The following cosmetic items have been allegedly associated with Crimson Week by the Redditor:
Emotes
Ghosts
Ornaments
Shaders
Mods
Transmat effects
Sparrows
Further texts suggest that there will be bundles available for purchase in Eververse again. Additionally, a special ghost is supposed to count the kills you achieve during Crimson Week. An overview of the cosmetic items was provided as well:
Even if much suggests that the Crimson event revolves mainly around Eververse, the Redditor warns that the game files had already been present before the onset event. It is therefore conceivable that Bungie has made adjustments based on player feedback in the meantime that have not yet made their way into the game.
Crimson Week in the Crucible
According to the texts found in the game files, the PvP event will likely run similarly to 2016:
“Talk to Lord Shaxx to learn more about his love for Crimson Week.”
“Shaxx congratulates you and your partner for contested battles and deserved victories during Crimson Week – and rewards you for it!”
“Complete Crimson Doubles matches”
“Win a Crimson Week match in Sudden Death”
These scripts imply that the Crimson Doubles mode will return. More information is not yet known. What ‘Sudden Death’ will be, we will see.
What does the raid have to do with Crimson Week?
Unlike in Destiny 1, Crimson Week will likely also influence the raid this time. How exactly this will play out is not known, as the Redditor found no text passages regarding it.
However, graphics have surfaced, especially an image that can be assigned to the raid (top left):
Keep in mind that this leaked information has not yet been officially confirmed. Bungie has only revealed that Crimson Week will return.
What do you think about the return of Crimson Week?
Beta Ahoi! In a few days, the closed beta test of Sea of Thieves invites pirates to try it out.
Selected players will dive into a beta version of the pirate adventure Sea of Thieves as early as January. Players have previously been able to experience in alpha tests what to expect in the digital pirate life. The closed beta test is now the next step toward release.

Players who registered in the Insider Program of Sea of Thieves before December 1st, or pre-ordered the game, can set sail on the open seas of the game in a few days.
The closed beta of Sea of Thieves starts on January 24 at 14:00 and lasts until January 28.
The special thing about this test is that the NDA clause does not come into effect. We can share our pirate adventures in the community and feed you with information.
However, during this test, we will not have access to all the features that the full version will offer. The developers want to create excitement for more and give an impression of what is possible. For this purpose, a “tailored gaming experience” has been crafted to give beta participants a feel for the pirate adventure.
Those who pre-ordered the game through the Xbox or Windows Store will see the game in their game library 24 hours before the start of the closed beta. Then you will need to download and install the game.
Those who pre-ordered Sea of Thieves at a retailer as a physical version must activate the code for the Black Dock Cosmetic Pack. Once activated, the game will appear in your library (24 hours before the start of the beta). You will then need to download and install the game.
Actually, the fastest cars in GTA 5 Online are expensive, but the newest fastest car is surprisingly cheap.
Regularly, the developers at Rockstar Games expand the online vehicle fleet of GTA 5. From flying motorcycles to jetpacks to racing cars with machine guns, players experience a lot of choices when purchasing vehicles.
The latest car addition has a higher top speed than any other car. And apparently, Rockstar wants as many of you to buy it as possible, because the price is unusually low.
Lampadati Viseris – Fastest Car in GTA 5 Online
For the Viseris, probably everyone of you has enough cash unless you have taken a liking to the overpowered orbital cannon. The Viseris can be purchased for a mere 875,000 GTA$ at Legendary Motorsport. A bargain!
Especially for a sports car in GTA 5 Online, the purchase price is low. Now many players suspect that while the car looks quite impressive (inspired by the De Tomaso Pantera), it may not be able to keep up with top cars.
Well, that’s not entirely correct. Surprisingly, the Viseris has the highest top speed in the game and is thus the fastest car. YouTuber Broughy1322 has already tested the car thoroughly and found out that it easily outpaces other supercars on straight roads. As a sports classic car, it reaches 146.5 mph compared to the fastest supercar, the Pfister 811, which only reaches 132.5 mph.

As YouTuber Broughy1322 explains in his video, apparently a bug causes the car to be incredibly fast. In the past, bugs with vehicle suspensions in GTA 5 Online have already been observed, causing some cars to drive faster than planned.
Whether this “bug” was intentionally left in by Rockstar to make the Viseris more appealing? Possibly, the error will soon be fixed, causing the Viseris to lose its top speed again. This cannot be guaranteed at this time.
Also, keep in mind that while the Viseris has the best top speed, it doesn’t win every race. On twisty racetracks, other vehicles have clear advantages, and the Viseris is pushed aside.
