The EX Raid system has cost him a lot of nerves, but now this Pokémon GO YouTuber is being trolled by the system again.
In Pokémon GO, trainers can catch new Pokémon in the wild or hatch them from eggs. A particularly rare Pokémon, Mewtwo, is only available as a reward for successfully completing an EX Raid. However, only players with an invitation can participate in these EX Raids. This annoys many players.
Pokémon GO YouTuber “Reversal” took a break from the game due to the opaque distribution system. He is now back playing and even received an EX Raid invitation. But bad luck continues to follow him.
No Time for EX Raid
In the community, Reversal is a well-known member. Many know the YouTuber from his grinding streams, where he collects particularly many experience points. After being ignored by the game for a long time and not receiving an invitation for the Mewtwo raid, he took a break from Pokémon GO.
Many trainers are on his side and complain about the EX Raid feature. The developers explain how the system works too vaguely, even though everyone wants a Mewtwo. These complaints even go so far that some want the system removed from the game altogether.
The frequently criticized EX Raid system has undergone changes in recent days, finally giving many trainers their first or second invitation to these battles.
Now Reversal has also received his EX Raid invitation and is recording his reaction on video. He saw a notification on his phone and wondered if it was indeed an EX Raid.

This time, fate seems to be kind to him, as it is indeed an invitation to battle Mewtwo. However, instead of joy, confusion quickly spreads across the streamer’s face, as you can see in the video.
Initially, he couldn’t even remember having fought at the corresponding gym at all (To qualify for an EX Raid, you must have battled at the corresponding gym before).
After Reversal realized that he has fought at this gym exactly once, he explains why he still can’t be happy.
“The problem is that I will be in the United States during the EX Raid.” – So he will not be able to accept his new invitation to a raid in the Netherlands.
One of the typical problems with EX Raids is that players have to arrange around the date of this battle and reschedule appointments if they want to participate. If you can’t make it to the raid date, you have to hope for a new invitation. And this invitation system is still so opaque that you never really know when you will be invited again.
In Monster Hunter World, the small, fluffy “Phantom Birds” are a challenge for many hunters. The birds are extremely rare and difficult to catch. However, they grant you the trophy “I’m going crazy” and a considerable amount of research points. Here you will learn in which areas you can find the fluffy chicken and how to catch it.
The small, cute fluffy chickens drive some hunters insane. The birds are also called “Phantom Birds”, appear only extremely rarely, and are also difficult to catch.
Trophy “I’m going crazy” in Monster Hunter World depends on the fluffy chicken
It’s worth catching a Phantom Bird because fluffy chickens …
… unlock the silver trophy “I’m going crazy”
… provide a considerable amount of research points
… are a quest objective. (The quest can be obtained in Astera from the researchers dealing with the creatures of the New World.)
… can be placed in your room and make your home cozier
There are a few simple tricks that will make catching a fluffy chicken significantly easier for you. Nevertheless, you will need some patience to get to the rare birds.
Aptonoths are peaceful vegetarians that live in the Ancient Forest (Area 1). Fluffy chickens sometimes rest on the backs of these monsters.
Phantom Birds sit on the monsters Aptonoths and Apceros – But only sometimes!
Fluffy chickens live in a special symbiosis with Aptonoths and Apceros. These peaceful vegetarians are herd animals and can quickly and easily provide hunters with meat.
Phantom Birds mostly spawn on the backs of these monsters and prefer to cuddle together with their kind here.
You can find Aptonoths in the Ancient Forest (Area 1 on the map)
You can find Apceros in the Wildspire Waste (Area 1 on the map)
The problem, however, is that the fluffy chickens are rarely found on the backs of the animals. Additionally, they are quite small and difficult to spot. In the picture, you can see how such a small fluffy pile sits on the back of an Aptonoth.
Use fast travel or the teleporter to find fluffy chickens faster
When finding fluffy chickens, you will be put to a true test of patience. The little birds have such a low spawn rate that you rarely encounter them. However, if you want to specifically search for the Phantom Birds, there is a trick.
Use a teleporter or fast travel to repeatedly return to area 1 of the Ancient Forest or Wildspire Waste. This gives you the chance for fluffy chickens to spawn upon repeated entry. The best way to start is to simply start an expedition because you are free there and can focus entirely on the chicken hunt.
The teleporter is a tool you can craft. It summons a flying dragon that can take you to the next camp even during a battle. To craft it, you need smoke nuts and parashrooms.
You can use fast travel by opening your map and clicking on a camp.
Tip for detecting fluffy chickens: When you approach a herd of Aptonoths or Apceros, listen for chirping! The birds are indeed quite audible if you pay close attention.
Fluffy chickens can also be found on the backs of Apceros in the Wildspire Waste (Area 1).
Definitely use the Ghillie Mantle to catch fluffy chickens! Phantom Birds are shy
If you manage to get a fluffy chicken in front of you, you must be very careful! The birds are shy and will fly away as soon as you get too close. This can be particularly frustrating if you have already spent a while tracking the animals. Fortunately, Monster Hunter World has a range of useful mantles that grant you special abilities.
The Ghillie Mantle makes you invisible for a while. You should definitely wear and activate it when you want to catch a fluffy chicken. Simply throw the mantle over you and get your net ready. Approach the fluffy chickens discreetly while wearing the Ghillie Mantle until the net icon lights up orange. If you throw your net now, the fluffy chicken will definitely end up in your net and the long search for it will have paid off.
In Charles’ video, you can see the hunt for the fluffy chicken in action:

With these two easy tricks, you can thus get a fluffy chicken the fastest:
Finding fluffy chickens: Travel repeatedly with fast travel or a teleporter to the areas of the Aptonoths and Apceros to encourage the spawning of the birds.
Catching fluffy chickens: Use a Ghillie Mantle to make yourself invisible and prevent the birds from flying away. Only then throw your net.
The first phase of the Overwatch League has concluded. In the playoffs, the three best teams of Stage 1 faced off – and London Spitfire ultimately claimed the victory and a prize of $100,000! But there was a lot of work behind it.
The first phase of the Overwatch League reached its peak and conclusion this past weekend. In the playoffs, always on the last day of the last week of a phase, the top 3 teams at that time compete against each other:
Semi-finals: Here, a single semi-final between places 2 and 3 determines who gets to advance to the final.
Final: The top-placed team waits for the winner of the single semi-final.
The strongest team from the “regular” season only needs to win one match in the end, the final. The other two teams must first play the semi-final against each other before they can duel with the top team.
The table of Phase 1 after 10 matches.
In this phase, it was New York Excelsior, London Spitfire, and the Houston Outlaws who fought for the victory and the prize money.
For the first place in each phase, there is $100,000, for second place $25,000, and the third place only receives the honor of having stood on the podium.
London plays against the same opponents – with different results
The special aspect of this playoff was that the two finalists had already played against each other shortly before as “regular season” matches.
London Spitfire faced the Houston Outlaws on Friday, February 9, and on the same day as the final, Saturday, February 10, already faced New York Excelsior.
However, in both games, London was defeated by the challenger. With a 3:1 loss to Houston and a 3:2 loss to New York, Spitfire’s chances looked rather bleak.
Nevertheless, they shattered expectations and ultimately made a strong comeback in the playoffs. With a decisive victory against Houston and a surprising comeback against New York, they finally secured the crown of the phase.
The final match against New York started off particularly poorly. Excelsior led at halftime with 2:0, having even taken Oasis without allowing London any points.
London had already played two matches on the same day: the first match against New York and the semi-final against Houston. They simply seemed exhausted and lacked the necessary concentration to put up a fight against the favorites.
Particularly one of the star players, Pine, constantly troubled the Spitfires. With Widowmaker, he took out several London players multiple times without ever being in danger himself.
As if they had activated their last reserves of strength once again, London struck back on the crucial third map for them. Had they lost on the Horizon Lunar Colony as well, victory would have already fallen to New York.
With an astonishing attack, they managed to overwhelm their opponent and capture both points almost effortlessly. Their subsequent defense was tough enough to secure the victory even after Excelsior equalized in the overtime with enough time to spare.
New York had no chance on Numbani and Dorado either. The DPS players Birdring and Profit consistently troubled Excelsior – and New York was clearly unprepared for that.
Although they had to take setback after setback, they did not change or changed too late their compositions. This gave Profit and Birdring enough time to eliminate their core players and ultimately achieve victory.

Will we still play on consoles with traditional hardware in the future, or is the gaming future already based on a cloud-based solution with the PS5 and the next Xbox? Developer Hajime Tabata believes in cloud consoles.
In autumn 2013, the release of the PS4 and Xbox One marked the beginning of the 8th console generation. We are still in this generation in 2018 – and it is unlikely that this will change anytime soon. With the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, more powerful consoles have been released that are meant to continue the 8th generation. A “next-gen” seems to be still far off.
There is still no official information about the successor consoles. Sony and Microsoft remain silent about a PS5 or a next Xbox. This leaves plenty of room for speculation – and a well-known developer now suggests that the next-gen consoles will rely on cloud technology.
Will the “next-gen” still rely on traditional hardware?
Hajime Tabata is the game director at Square Enix and serves as director for Final Fantasy XV. In an interview with the official Xbox magazine (via Gamingbolt), he talks about the future of consoles.
While the PS4 and Xbox One already increasingly rely on online services, the next-gen consoles will likely go a step further and build on cloud-based technologies.
This would mean that the gaming industry would follow a similar path as the music and film industry – moving towards streaming services.
Specifically, this would mean: A PS5 or a next Xbox would no longer rely on stationary hardware, but on a subscription model. Games could – similar to movies on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and others – be purchased and played online.
In other words, the games would be streamed directly from the cloud. The fact that streaming technology works for console games is already demonstrated by streaming services like PlayStation Now.
Possible problems with cloud-based games
If the next consoles fully rely on cloud technology, there would be a significant downside for many gamers: Very fast and stable internet connections would be needed, which are still not available everywhere in the world – not even in Germany.
In contrast to series, streaming games face a further issue: Delay. Particularly in fast-paced shooters, quick reactions are important, and larger delays cannot be afforded.
However, it should be noted: These are merely assessments from Tabata. He has no insider information on this. However, he is not the first to talk about a “cloud console.”
Already in late 2014, Masayasu Ito, Executive Vice President of Sony Computer Entertainment, stated that he expects there will be a PlayStation 5. However, he does not yet know in what form it will be released. It could be a physical console or a cloud-based solution.
Even if the form should change, Ito says, there will definitely be PS5 games.
What do you think? What does the future console generation look like?

The release of Sea of Thieves is just around the corner. The developers state that they are convinced of the launch content.
On March 20, 2018, Sea of Thieves is set to be released for PC and Xbox One. As the developers explained, the game will receive additional features over time. Nevertheless, they are satisfied with the launch content.
After the closed beta of the game, some players had concerns about whether Sea of Thieves could deliver enough content. During the testing phase, there was only a little to do.
Sea of Thieves is set to grow after launch
In the latest issue of “Xbox: The Official Magazine,” the executive producer of Sea of Thieves, Joe Neate, discusses the launch of the pirate adventure.
“Some of our toughest discussions are about the launch content. We feel good about what Sea of Thieves offers at release. We believe that no other game can provide such an experience,” Neate explains. Furthermore, there should be a solid plan for how the game evolves after launch.
“The launch is just the beginning, and I am so excited to finally start this journey soon. Right now, we are focusing on the launch experience. We are working hard to ensure that players have a good experience at the start of the game. After that, we will move on to the post-launch roadmap with features.”
The community of Sea of Thieves has contributed a lot to the development. Neate states that they will continue to play an important role in the future.
“They [the community] made up a large part. We knew from the very beginning that we needed to build a community around the game and do what is necessary to be as open as possible with our development and our decisions.”
“Even after launch, we will continue this way and keep accepting feedback from the community. They are typically the first to tell us if we are not providing enough information or if there is a lack of reasoning behind decisions.”
The developers ofBlack Desert Online (PC) have adjusted the values of the Western version to match the Korea edition in a patch. However, this is only the first step towards a shared, global version of the sandbox MMORPG.
Adjusted attack values in the West to match the Korea version
On January 25, a patch was released for the Korean servers that improved attack efficiency in the AP range between 160 and 243. However, this only applied to Korea, as balancing functions differently there.
However, the developers did not want this anymore, and with the latest patches, they adjusted the attack efficiency in the mentioned AP range for the Western version as well. But this is only the first step in an ambitious plan by the developers.
Global build as the ultimate goal
The goal of the developers at Pearl Abyss is to have a global version of the game soon. This “global build” should apply equally to the East and the West: updates should be released quickly for all players of Black Desert.
Patches and new features would therefore come to us faster from Korea.
Furthermore, PvP is to become global. The tournaments in “Arshas Arena” and the siege battles are planned as global events. Players from Korea, North America, and Europe should soon compete together in PvP.
Is a sole version for East and West a good idea?
According to feedback from many players, this is not particularly popular. Many suspect high ping rates when players from Korea participate. Additionally, many players fear that the Korean gamers will be much better in PvP than the local gamers.
And then there are players who fear a development similar to TERA. The Korean action MMO was also once transitioned to a global version. According to some players, unwanted Korea patches and alleged pay-to-win items entered the game from then on.
An event in World of Warcraft brought roleplayers together in Stormwind. “Void Elves in the Alliance? Not with us!”
On roleplaying servers of World of Warcraft, smaller and larger events happen from time to time. Often these are markets, some secret fighting nights, or simply military exercises by soldier guilds. Last Sunday (02/11/2018) there was rather an unusual event on the server “The Aldor”: a sermon about the Void Elves.
In short: A paladin spoke about the Void Elves and how they pose a danger to the light-loving people of Stormwind. What sounded like a small event, expecting 30 to 40 players, ultimately led to a mass gathering of nearly 150 players in the Cathedral of Stormwind.
Those interested in the details and the full text of the sermon can find it under the spoiler tag, but a warning: It is a long read.
[vc_toggle title=”Sermon against the Void”]
Astária clears her throat quietly and looks again with a calm and friendly demeanor through the rows. Then she raises her voice to a tone that is well carried by the acoustics of the holy halls, yet always appears measured.
“Brothers and sisters in the light, citizens of Stormwind, dear congregation! Welcome to the Cathedral of Light and to the sermon this evening. My name is Astaria Arcados, paladin of the Church of the Holy Light, and I speak today in the name of the light and with deepest concern in my heart to you.”
“Although I am pleased that my outcry has gathered so many believers here today to listen to the words I wish to proclaim as a servant of the Holy Light, despair grips my heart when I observe the recent developments among us.” It seems a heavy burden rests on the shoulders of the woman, considering her serious expression.
“Many of you may have taken arduous paths, some perhaps misled by the ignorant regarding false testimonies about the intention and above all the legitimacy of my words. So let me take away your fears, for the words I will speak are the will of the Holy Light itself, which at this hour can speak clearly to us as never before, to distinguish good from evil and right from wrong. My words do not speak slanderously against His Majesty, whose decisions I always support, as long as they do not oppose the highest truth, the teachings of the Light.”
“But the ignorant, politically naive, do not possess the knowledge to distinguish an acceptance as an ally in a military alliance from naturalization, and thus they throw themselves to the shadow itself as prey, carrying it already within themselves, so that they want to make you believe that the words that spring from the teachings of the Light are something wrong. But even these ignorant shall find enlightenment through the Holy Light.”
She pauses for a moment, letting what has been said linger in the room before her voice is raised again in that measured tone.
“My brothers and sisters in faith: A few days ago, the news broke that the military alliance of the Alliance has new allies, also creatures in our homeland, in our city walls, among us, who bear the very essence of the Void. Touched by the Void, the power of the Old Gods, whose dark whisper is already manifesting itself in organizations like the Shadowhammer or the abominable armor of the undead – the Saronite.”
“Many of you may now wonder what dangers the shadow or the Void pose and why it is precisely to be condemned. Why we often raise the admonishing or even condemning word against it. So I tell you: Where the Holy Light is the primal force of life, all purity and goodness, there the Void is the source of all evil, of hatred, sickness, chaos, madness, ruin, and death.”
“Where the holy power of the Light fills all our hearts, filling us with bliss, hope, courage, and love, healing us from illness and suffering, there the shadow fills us with hatred, anger, fear, and despair, devouring our flesh and our soul. The Light connects us all into a great whole, the shadow knows only destruction.”
“We all stand in the center and must make a choice. With the rise of all our kingdoms, the human race has always professed to the light. The three virtues of respect, patience, and compassion, drawn from the nature of the Light, teach us the rightful conduct among all believers and to accept and cherish life itself as the highest good. It shows us in our society how we should strengthen our bond to the Light and thus our inner harmony, take care of each other, and look after one another. Good deeds that do not make us fear death – for the merciful Light takes all souls who were faithful to it with it and grants them eternal peace and bliss in death.”
“All this has kept our people on the right path and has always led our greatest heroes to victory. Against the scourge, the Old Gods, Deathwing, and the Shadowhammer, the orcish hordes, or even the Burning Legion itself. All threats and dangers, seeking the destruction of our world, in whose spirit and hearts ultimately only the Void dwelled.”
With an upright gaze, she allows her eyes to rest on this or that one. Only the constantly speaking ones are barely brushed by.
“Whoever rejects the Light or inflicts suffering and harm on another not only nourishes the shadow within themselves but also all others around them. Those who walk this path will be plagued by a cruel whisper.”
“Many of you may have lost loved ones to that very whisper, which the Shadowhammer has instilled in the minds of many of us years ago. Veterans among you surely remember the consequences that Saronite, the Black Blood of an Old God, has inflicted on many of your comrades in Northrend. It drives a man to madness, it annihilates his mind, and ultimately transforms him into a puppet of the Void or its greatest servants, like the Old Gods. It is an illusion to believe that you can control this uncontrollable power. It urges you to turn against your loved ones, to harm them – and it will be repaid after death with eternal torment in absolute darkness.”
“Hear my words: The Void is the most horrific enemy for every righteous man, every righteous woman with fidelity to the Light in their hearts. Where the Light brings healing, peace, inner harmony, love, and happiness, it is the Void that brings illness, hatred, discord, death, and damnation upon anyone who approaches it, twisting and corrupting their once-pure soul so that they are denied eternity in the Light, but rather Materia, pain, and darkness will envelop for eternity those who allowed the Void to enter their hearts. And even if it is only through dealing with dark creatures.”
“And this fatal Void will now, adorned with beautiful words of self-deception and alleged control, be brought directly into our community. Just look at the audacity of these beings. See the decay already advanced by self-deception and selfishness of these creatures. For the Void Elves – Light, even that name bears witness to their corruption – are already openly and shamelessly showing their dark intentions. They do not behave as any minimum responsibility would be expected of such an uncontrollable, corrupted, and dubious ally, seeking a home on the fronts or in enclaves. No, they walk as bearers of the powers of madness, death, and corruption among us. They encroach into our civil society. Among our women and children.”
“And that distinguishes them from all the corrupted purpose allies we have ever had to endure, from demon hunters or death knights. But have we not already paid dearly for the death knights? How often have I heard of attacks by renegade death knights? How often did these supposed allies launch attacks on innocents right in our midst? And this, even though they hardly ever had contact with the civilian population. But this time the threat from the Void is far worse. Right among our civilian population, among innocent and defenseless people walk these creatures. They exploit the ignorance of many citizens about the new situation and confuse a military alliance with naturalization into the Kingdom of Stormwind.”
Calmly, and with merely moderate fervor, she speaks the words, her green eyes directed towards this or that present.
“Just yesterday I spoke with a Void Elf and I do not want to withhold his words from you so that you can form your own judgment: He himself, yes, he himself, admitted that he could not say how much longer he would be able to withstand the whisper of the Void. He himself acknowledged his uncertainty that it was only a matter of time before he could resist the influence of the Void. But where does he walk now? Has he taken precautions? Did he remove himself with his kin from the homeland of many thousands to protect them?”
She shakes her head decisively. “No! And do you know what he asked me for? For time. Time in which I should throw the souls of my brothers, sisters, my fellow men and friends, YOUR souls onto his unholy gaming table.”
“So beware! Even absurd words can confuse the mind of the weak in faith, carried by sweetness and charm. So strengthen your spirit with faith, that you recognize the darkness in such words. A danger openly named and kept away from the innocent can be defended against. However, these creatures are careful to worm their way into our civil midst as if they were citizens of this kingdom. Hidden and creeping – as is the nature of the shadow – they seek to undermine our civil life more and more and in the style of the infiltrator to achieve the corrupted consensus among the people that the Void is something ordinary, something normal.”
“But know that whoever gives in to this delusion and does not unmask the Void as the enemy it is has already opened their heart to the darkness. And thus, everyone will commit themselves to the service of the shadow if they allow these creatures entrance into the civil society of Stormwind.
Do not be afraid, my faithful brothers and sisters. Do not let yourselves be blinded by false prophets who want you to believe that the shadow is controllable. For these words were the beginning of every descent, akin to a journey to the Blackrock, to hurl one’s soul into the deepest depths of the molten lava.”
For everyone who contributes to bringing the most dreadful power as something normal and socially acceptable into our midst has already submitted to the servitude of the shadows. And not only that: Every single person who maintains friendly relations with these creatures, even houses them or employs them, ultimately has to answer before the Light itself for bringing the Void into our civil, into our civic midst.
“For, dear believers, dear friends, the time has now come when we are subjected to a test. A test of faith and virtue. Only together can we face the danger of our society being infiltrated. Only together can we preserve our faith and the values in which it manifests, and prevent our children from growing up in a world where they dwell door-to-door with the Void or are taught by the corrupted. We stand on the threshold where it is up to us to decide whether we want the Light in our hearts or the shadow.”
“And so I say: Keep your distance from these void-filled beings. Meet them with distance. And do not be blinded by their beautiful words, but call upon the Light. Let us speak together and with one voice, that we do not birth a second Shadowhammer and no further Cataclysm in our midst.”
She now raises her index finger in a pointing manner before continuing after a moment of pause to lend weight to the following words.
“However, do not resort to violence. Keep the blades in your sheaths and the fists at your sides, lest you become a target of an attack by the Void Elves. For the word shall be our blade, and faith shall be its hilt.”
She raises her hands as the outcries make it impossible to continue.
“Please… have patience. At the beginning of my sermon, I already offered personal conversation with individuals. So please make use of that instead of shouting here.”
She shakes her head and hesitates for a moment, perhaps due to the unrest, simply to formulate shortly and conclusively.
“Keep in mind that every descent into the Void began with thoughts of supposed control and that this decay is certain. If we turn our backs on those in whom the Void dwells whenever we can, we will jointly pass this trial that the Light imposed upon us and find bliss in eternity.”
“I am aware that many of you, out of loneliness or a situation of need, are rather inclined to grasp every hand stretched out to them. But know that you will always find comfort and support in the holy halls. And so I would like to personally extend my hand to each one of you who is searching. Take my promise that I will fight for the salvation of everyone’s soul as I once swore. If you carry the Light in your hearts, you should fear neither the Void nor its “children.””
“In closing, I intended to end with a prayer for those who are tested the hardest, the soldiers of His Majesty. But due to the ongoing unrest, I offer the believers to do this together tomorrow evening in a smaller round, to ask the Light for the blessing for the soldiers of His Majesty.”
Then the preacher is led away by the guards.
Already during the sermon, the mood heated up. Some characters considered the words to be “heresy” and “offense against the light,” while others agreed and even demanded the execution of the Void Elves.
Things escalated when different watch guilds stormed the Cathedral and wanted to capture the preacher because she would be inciting against “the words of the king,” who had invited the Void Elves into the Alliance.
The soldiers form an alley.
Escalation with a lynch mob
And how does an angry crowd react when “the messenger of truth” is simply taken away? Right: The guards were first insulted, then pelted with fruit, and finally even stoned. Alongside projectiles, wild accusations rained down that the guards had allied themselves with the Void.
“The city watch is corrupted by the Void!”
“Death to the Void!”
“Your hearts are like your heads! Full of Void!”
And of course, my favorite from a dwarf:
“No beer for Void Elves!”
It was also exciting to see the intrigues of individual groups. For example, there were warlocks disguised as priests who rallied against the Void Elves. Later, when the preacher was captured and the mob began to rage, the warlocks appeared as other persons and advised the guards to make an example and execute the “instigator” directly – which would have caused even more escalation.
Basically, except for a few exceptions, the entire active RP community of Stormwind was present in the Cathedral and actively involved in the small uprising – regardless of which side. For a “small sermon,” this was probably one of the coolest and most exciting developments that a small roleplay event has taken.
What is explainable to non-roleplayers: The attitude of a played character has, of course, nothing to do with the alignment of the player behind it. The friendliest raid leader can play a selfish, cunning, or even racist snob in roleplay. A little racism in roleplay can be quite invigorating.
Cortyn says: Although there were a lot of players and you had to pay close attention to the chat to not miss anything, the event was a lot of fun. It was exciting and interesting to play how quickly the moods of a group could change or how individuals could exploit such a tumult for their purposes. Besides, one cannot trust Void Elves – they themselves do not know what powers they are dealing with.
Three body shots followed by a critical hit do not suffice to take down a Guardian in the Crucible. However, four critical hits are enough to eliminate the opponent – the TTK is also lower in this case.
Is it worth using in the valuable Exotic slot?
From an objective perspective, the weapon is not worth using in the exotic weapon slot – neither in PvP nor in PvE. Besides far better legendary alternatives like the “Midnight without a Name”, and exotic competitors like the “MIDA Multi-Tool”, the Jade Rabbit can never really shine.
Furthermore, the intrinsic perk of the weapon proves suboptimally implemented in practice. Thus, no recommendation for the Exotic can be given.

What makes the exotic Scout rifle The Jade Rabbit in Destiny 2 special? How does it perform in PvE and PvP?
The Jade Rabbit was already represented in Destiny 1 as a PlayStation-exclusive weapon and proved to be a quite useful Exotic in the right hands. With the “Curse of Osiris” expansion, the weapon then made its way into the world of Destiny 2.
How does the Scout rifle perform now?
The Jade Rabbit – How to get the exotic Scout rifle
There are several sources for this Exotic in Destiny 2:
Xur: Sometimes the Agent of the Nine has the Jade Rabbit.
In the Eververse and from Bright Engrams, there is the following ornament for the Jade Rabbit: Jade Temptation.
Jade Temptation ornament
What makes the Jade Rabbit special in Destiny 2
The Jade Rabbit is an exotic Scout rifle for the kinetic weapon slot. With a rate of fire of 150, it belongs to the less popular, slow-firing scout archetype with low stability and poor handling. For comparison: The exotic Scout rifle MIDA Multi-Tool has a rate of fire of 200.
The Jade Rabbit has the following perks:
Fate of all Fools (intrinsic): Chain body shots to receive bonus damage for your next precision shot, returning ammunition to the magazine.
Polygonal Rifling: Increases stability.
Armor-Piercing Rounds:Rounds deal additional damage to combatants’ shields and penetrate targets more effectively. Slightly increases range.
Zen Moment: Damage dealt with this weapon increases stability.
Fate of all Fools – the intrinsic perk in detail
This is what the “Fate of all Fools” perk does in detail:
Effect 1: Chain body shots to receive bonus damage for your next precision shot. Specifically, this means that after several body shots, the critical damage of the next shot is increased – provided you also land a critical hit as the next shot. This effect can stack with up to four body shots. After the fourth body shot, the bonus damage for the next critical hit does not increase further. This maximums out at around +35% for critical damage.
Effect 2: After several body shots and a subsequent critical hit, ammunition returns to the magazine. So if you land, for example, two body shots and one critical hit, two rounds return to the magazine thanks to the perk. With three body shots followed by a critical hit, three return accordingly.
How does the Scout perform in practice?
In practice, unfortunately, the Jade Rabbit fails to impress in both PvE and PvP.
On the one hand, the weapon archetype to which this Scout rifle belongs is generally not competitive. Due to the high TTK (Time to kill), the low stability, the poor handling, and the often low magazine size, this archetype does not represent a serious alternative to other legendary Scout rifles such as “Midnight without a Name” or the exotic “MIDA Multi-Tool”.
Health bar after 3 body shots and one critical hit
On the other hand, the intrinsic perk of the Jade Rabbit proves weak in practice – if not even unnecessary. To utilize this perk, one must first focus on body shots and then land a critical hit. However, the bonus damage for the critical hit is not proportional to the damage loss due to the preceding body shots. Additionally, one must change the target aim in between.
If one lands consistent critical hits, the Time to Kill is lower than if one focused on triggering the perk. Essentially, this extends the already generally high TTK of the weapon; it must also be noted that it is not always possible to land a subsequent critical hit.

A German localization for Escape from Tarkov is on the way. The translations come from the community.
The PC shooter Escape from Tarkov will be a realistic action game with RPG and MMO elements. The developers are committed to delivering a good story and communicating it clearly to the community. To ensure that language barriers do not dampen this experience, the game is getting some new localizations to reach many players in their preferred language.
Escape from Tarkov – Localization Update
Developer Battlestate Games announces that you will soon be able to play Escape from Tarkov in German. Until now, this was only possible in English and Russian.
More than 7,000 players are said to have helped translate the game. On the translation website of Escape from Tarkov, there is the opportunity to assist with further localizations for the development of the shooter. There, you can also see the progress of the other translations.
The translated interface looks like this:
Escape from Tarkov is still in development and attempts to be a particularly realistic shooter that incorporates many tactical elements. There is a story-based and scenario-based multiplayer mode. During your games, you encounter chemical factories, private residential complexes, warehouses, and more. Dynamic weather with day and night changes affects the various operations.
Various factors and circumstances reflect your character’s health. These include hydration, energy, blood pressure, blood loss, fractures, bruises, poisoning, exhaustion, dizziness, and more.
The weapons are also designed to feel “real.” The ballistics in terms of trajectories and hits are close to reality. Additionally, jams, overheating, wear and tear, and other negative aspects are incorporated from real weapon usage.
This rocket launcher is actually intended to defend against enemy planes or helicopters in GTA 5. However, players found a funnier use for the heavy device.
In GTA 5 Online, there are various ways to defend against hostile helicopters or planes. One of them is the Chernobog: a mobile rocket launcher that takes out flying enemies from a great distance.
However, the community prefers to use the Chernobog to launch players, cars, or helicopters into the air.
The rocket launcher works differently than expected
The anti-aircraft vehicle “Chernobog” made its way to Grand Theft Auto V through the Doomsday Heist update in December. Shortly after its release, players discovered uses for the vehicle that the developers probably did not anticipate.
The reason for the new use cases are faulty gameplay functions. These are triggered by:
the large rocket holder that is mounted on the vehicle and can be controlled by the driver
and the retractable supports of the Chernobog
Apparently, the rocket arm on the Chernobog is so incredibly strong that it can easily flatten vehicles. With exactly this power, vehicles or people are simply thrown into the air.

For more stability when firing rockets, Chernobog drivers can extend the vehicle’s supports. However, these are so sensitive that they completely lose control when touching other vehicles. If a Chernobog drives onto a Mobile Command Center and extends its supports there, both vehicles are catapulted into the air.
Cargobob vs. Chernobog, who is transporting whom?
Players tried to move the Chernobog with the Cargobob, a helicopter for transporting vehicles or crates. As you can see in the following video, this does not turn out well for the Cargobob.
The helicopter is simply tossed around wildly by the rocket vehicle, contradicting all the images one previously had of the Cargobob.

These incredible forces do not stop at helicopters either. Planes cannot resist the compelling abilities of the Chernobog, as shown in the following video by Voitokas:

Of course, the rough, faulty functions of the Chernobog are also good for jump-starting large machines.

The golden discipline – Goliath vs. Goliath
The Chernobog defeats vehicles, helicopters, and planes. Of course, players became curious about what a clash between Chernobog and Chernobog looks like. An impression of this is provided by the following gif from King-Kanute:
We wanted to know which weapons in Monster Hunter World (PS4 and Xbox One) are your favorites. The survey has been evaluated, and we will present to you the weapons from the single and multiplayer modes of Monster Hunter World that you consider the best.
In the last “Mein-MMO-Asks-Survey” we wanted to know from you which of the 14 weapon types you prefer in Monster Hunter World. Both in single-player and multiplayer modes.
Over 2,700 hunters voted. The result as of February 12, 2018, was surprising.
The most popular weapons for the single-player mode
In solo play, the good old Longsword clearly leads the way. 17 percent of all players love it. But Leyas favorite weapon, the Insect Glaive, is also very popular and is preferred by 14 percent of players. However, popularity drops off soon after.
The Light Bowgun is preferred by 5 percent, while the heavy version is only preferred by 1 percent. And no one seems to like the poor Hunting Horn.
Longsword: 17 percent
Insect Glaive: 14 percent
Bow: 12 percent
Dual Blades: 12 percent
Energy Blade: 11 percent
Morphing Axe: 8 percent
Great Sword: 8 percent
Hammer: 7 percent
Light Bowgun: 5 percent
Gunlance: 2 percent
Sword and Shield: 2 percent
Heavy Bowgun: 1 percent
Lance: 1 percent
Hunting Horn: 0 percent
The most popular weapons for the multiplayer mode
In multiplayer mode, hunters slightly adapt their preferred weapon type to the party situation. In a group, the Bow is 4 percentage points more popular, and the Hunting Horn finds a few more friends than when players go hunting solo.
Japan is a promised land for many nerds and gamers. Because Japan has a profound gaming culture. We sent our author Benedict on an exploration journey in Japan. What are the Japanese arcades like?
First of all: Japan is great, but I wouldn’t want to live here. You quickly get used to the cool things, while the rough edges become more annoying like scratching lint in a sweater.
Nevertheless, Japan is a beautiful country, especially regarding its gaming culture. Even though hardcore otakus are also frowned upon here: fanboys and fangirls, gamers and nerds are not something to be looked down upon in Japan.
The past still lives on – in arcades and retro stores!
In my journey through Tokyo, I visited many places. Among other things, I was driven by interest in the history and development of gaming. My main goals were the centers of nerd culture.
This includes anime and gaming shops, cosplay and second-hand stores, and of course arcades.
Arcades are large gaming halls where machines are set up, where you can play for money. Each machine runs a different game.
From these gaming halls, home consoles eventually developed. Even virtual reality has its origins here. Thus, the halls are somewhat the origin of our current gaming.
A VR1000-series machine from the early 90s. It played VR games like Dacyl Nightmare. Source image: cressall.
Arcades are still available in western countries primarily in the USA. In Germany, gaming halls were not successful for long. In the late seventies and early eighties, they had their peak here.
By the mid-eighties, they were dying out again – especially thanks to youth protection laws, which classified the machines as gambling. Since then, there have only been isolated machines or retro fans with their own arcades in Germany.
The typical image in an arcade.
The Japanese arcades – the hay in the haystack
Arcades are truly everywhere here in Japan. Every small district, where there are at least restaurants or students, has a gaming hall somewhere. Usually, younger people spend their time here, but often, older ones regularly come.
The arcades in Japan are a bit different. Only a few, particularly smaller arcades, offer just game machines. Most are filled with claw machines and other prize machines, where you can win prizes for money. Quite annoying if you just want to play.
Nevertheless, in the other floors of the usually tall buildings, there are also real slot machines with old and new games. The arcade culture is still alive in Japan, so some new releases come to the arcades before being released on consoles.
A claw prize machine.
What can be found in the arcades?
Alongside the alluring offerings of prize machines, various types of machines stand in the large rooms. Roughly, they can be divided into 5 categories:
Beat-em-Ups: Classic fighting games in the style of Tekken and Street Fighter. Both game series are available almost everywhere. With analog sticks and large buttons, these machines offer pure arcade feeling and form the core of many arcades
Card and strategy games: Something that I had never seen before. There are tables where players command armies on large screens or engage in card battles. I didn’t fully understand it, but there are also machines where you control the game using cards placed on a field. These tables are probably the most common and most numerous, even a bit more than beat-em-ups.
Sports and racing games: Also frequently represented are classic racing games with steering wheels and gearsticks as well as football and (interactive) boxing. Alongside fighting games, these are the most popular for recreation among young players.
Tekken 7.

Trommel-Rhythmus-Spiel.
Ein anderes Strategiespiel mit Karten.
Music and rhythm games: These machines typically occupy one floor or a separate corner. They are found almost everywhere, but simply less than the ones mentioned above. The games on the machines are akin to Guitar Hero, dance mats, drumming games, or rather crazy and fast-paced games with buttons that have to be pressed (I think) in rhythm. The people I observed were too fast to say more …
Horse racing: Yes, really. In most arcades, especially the smaller ones, there are large areas with seating where players engage in virtual horse racing. “Star Horse” is probably the most popular. Especially older players spend hours here. This might be because gambling is prohibited in Japan – so people seek their thrill virtually.
What stands out particularly: The air in arcades is often stuffy. In most areas where only game machines without prizes stand, smoking is allowed. Additionally, there are drink vending machines, charging stations, restrooms, and often cafes. The operators place great importance on ensuring people stay for a long time.

Akihabara Electric Town and Namba Denden Town: The Nerd Centers of Japan
The highest density of arcades and other interesting stores for gamers and nerds can be found in two places in Japan: Electric Town Akihabara, a district in Tokyo, and in Denden Town Namba, a district of Osaka.
Here, arcades, cosplay shops, manga stores, and hardware stores are lined up. The latter are primarily for consoles or laptops; PC gaming is not as widely spread. You have to be careful where you go in: Many shops consist largely of 18+ sections that are not always separated. Especially Akihabara boasts this.
However, you can also find Sega Towers in Akihabara. Towers with more than 6 floors full of machines, cafes, and fan shops. Partners often offer merchandise here. When I was there, there were new items from Fate/Apocrypha. Very pleasant as a fan.
Eine Taito-Game-Station in Akihabara.
Ein SEGA-Tower in Akihabara.
All the stores are rather narrow. There’s not much space, as as much as possible is supposed to be sold in a small area. For this reason, you can find used and new games at different prices in the buildings – each store has a different price for the same products.
Denden Town is a bit smaller and somewhat more focused on hardware than nerd accessories. Here, there are significantly more stores in a smaller area selling PC accessories and parts. At least I found a Warhammer shop here.
Retro Gaming in Japan
Retro gaming is less present in Japan than many might think. While there are quite a few second-hand stores selling old games, most things are indeed new.
Nevertheless, some stores offer old consoles, games, and accessories. Depending on cult status and condition, their prices vary. A Nintendo 64 costs almost three times that of a GameCube, both used.
Der Eingang in einen Retro-Store.
There are plenty of games available. Whether as cartridges or CDs, from the old Famicom to the Dreamcast, through to the PlayStation 2, thousands of different games can be found, some even at bargain prices.
Some arcades even offer retro games. There are a few where machines can be found that allow you to play classics like Street Fighter 1 or the old Dragon Quest parts. Usually, one machine offers 7 or more games – just for the retro enthusiast.
In general, I can say that Japan seeks progress in gaming rather than looking back at past days. The latest games are advertised long before their release, so you can even pre-order a game in-store 5 months in advance with a coupon.
Although arcades still have a feel of “back in the day”, the games are almost all new. They often fulfill higher graphical demands. Only music games seem to have always been kept simple to attract the absolute fans who then focus on one game and play it to perfection.
Fate/Extello can be pre-ordered months in advance.
Japan focuses more on the present and future in games. Mobile gaming is a big topic, and retro is slowly dying out. But at least arcades do not seem to disappear anytime soon, leaving the memory alive.
What is shown in the video gives the impression that the developers are presenting a nearly finished MMORPG just before release. Even the UI looks as good as what other games offer in their release versions.
This impression is misleading, though, as even though Ashes of Creation looks strong, there is still a lot of work to be done to add content and expand the game systems as well as to optimize balancing. Not much of the crafting aspect has been shown so far.
A good cross-section of the MMORPG
The video essentially showcases a cross-section of the MMORPG. You see pretty much what you will be able to do in the “finished” version regarding adventures and exploration. This includes:
Exploration of dungeons
The new Underrealm
Fights against monsters
The exploration of the overworld
The expansion of a city “node”
The defense of a city against a monster
Teamplay in groups
That looks good
Almost an hour of gameplay footage is visible, accompanied by comments from the developers explaining some of what is shown. For example, about the expansion of the node, which became an elven city through the actions of the players in the video. Graphically, Ashes of Creation already makes a good impression, even though the game is still in the pre-alpha phase.
So, if you are excited about Ashes of Creation, you can watch the video and see for yourself the advanced state of the MMORPG.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4 & Xbox One) is set to receive a new skill-based matchmaking system. Many players are unhappy about this. Therefore, the developers want to carefully consider the matter and promise to listen to player feedback.
Fortnite: Battle Royale mentioned in the last developer update that a new matchmaking system is planned. The new system will select players based on their skills. This way, only approximately equally skilled players would play together.
This does not sit well with many fans. All rounds would become difficult and stressful. There would be no rounds where one could have easier opponents. Everyone would always compete at the same level.
Epic Games will consider player feedback
Since the developer Epic Games does not want to work past the fans, the devs have reassured on Twitter. They have heard the players’ concerns loud and clear.
We heard you loud and clear concerning changes to matchmaking! We’ll be sorting through all of the feedback we’ve been given and take it into careful consideration before taking any steps.
Therefore, they will take a close look at the fans’ feedback and reconsider. Only then will they make a final decision regarding the new matchmaking and inform the community.
Are there alternatives for matchmaking?
As alternatives to a skill-based matchmaking system, according to GameSpot, there could be so-called playlists. In these, players would decide whether to play on the “Casual” or “Serious” playlist.
This way, one could easily control whether they want the thrill of a well-balanced match or prefer to play relaxed fun rounds. Other games have been doing quite well with such a system.
In Destiny 2, Osiris is set to return in the future.
Osiris is an ancient Warlock who was once a Vanguard Commander before being sent into exile by the Speaker.
Destiny veterans had indirect encounters with him back in 2015, when the “Trials of Osiris” first took place. However, he never appeared personally in Destiny 1.
Since then, countless Guardians have wondered who this Osiris really is, what has happened to him, and whether he is still alive. When Bungie revealed that the first DLC of Destiny 2 is called “Curse of Osiris” and revolves around the legendary Warlock, lore-interested players were thrilled. Finally, this character would be highlighted, and there would be answers to all the questions.
The story of Curse of Osiris disappointed
However, there were far fewer answers than hoped for. In Curse of Osiris, you learn only that Osiris is wandering around the Infinite Forest on Mercury. That there is a new threat approaching that we, the Guardians, must stop.
In just under 2 hours, the few story missions are completed, Osiris disappears back into the Infinite Forest – and that’s it. No spectacular return of Osiris, joining the Vanguard again, no shocking event that would have a lasting impact on the Destiny universe – no satisfying ending.
Many Guardians agreed after the story: This was not worthy of Osiris. For months and years, they battled in the “Trials”, only to experience a pathetic appearance of Osiris in Destiny 2. Could that really be all there is?
But a return in the actual game is also possible: In an interview with gamefragger, Oded Fehr spoke about the role of Osiris. Fehr lends his voice to the ancient Warlock in the English original, he is the voice actor for Osiris.
When asked what projects Fehr will tackle next, he replied that he is currently working on a TV project he can’t yet discuss. Specifically about Osiris, Fehr reveals: “I believe they are planning to bring Osiris back; and I look forward to coming back for that.”
So it seems that Bungie plans for Osiris to make another appearance in Destiny. However, it sounds like this return is still some time away. And as Bungie’s past has taught us, plans can also change unexpectedly.
In summary: A return of Osiris is possible and likely planned, but not yet officially confirmed.
What do you think, will Osiris return? Do you want to see more of Osiris in Destiny?
A curious end to a round in Fortnite: Battle Royale has the crowd going wild. The corresponding video of this scene is currently making the rounds and has already been viewed more than 4 million times.
A pretty hopeless situation – one would think. Because the player quickly pulls out his shotgun and … just jumps into the abyss. As he has no idea where the opponent is located, the victory will be decided by a jump into the unknown and a shot into nowhere.
Just before the impact, the player pulls the trigger – and the epic victory appears! Don’t believe it? Here is the video:
The reactions to this admittedly lucky victory are overwhelming – the crowd goes absolutely wild. Whether it was the player’s first win is not known – however, friends are ecstatic about this quirky success.
The latest hero from Heroes of the Storm, Maiev, was weakened by Blizzard after just three days. She was the strongest character the game has ever had – at least for a few days.
Every few weeks, a new hero strays into the Nexus of Heroes of the Storm. The latest addition was the assassin Maiev from Warcraft. There, she is part of the Sisterhood of the Watchers and long hunted Illidan Stormrage. However, in Heroes of the Storm, she never needed to participate in a hunt for long, as when enemies came before her glaives, she made quick work of all foes.
The official forums and Reddit were flooded with comments and insults. Many players were outraged and wondered how Maiev could have ever left the test server.

With a win rate of nearly 70%, Maiev was beyond any balance. Blizzard pulled the emergency brake and released a patch just last Friday (02.09.2018) that toned down the night elf a bit. Especially her armor was reduced, so she now has to take more damage and leaves the battlefield faster.
The nerfs of Maiev in Heroes of the Storm
Values
The damage of basic attacks was reduced from 162 to 150.
The base value of health points was increased from 2,150 to 2,236.
The health regeneration was increased from 4.48 to 4.66 per second.
Abilities
Fan of Knives (Q)
The damage was reduced from 180 to 170.
Guardian’s Reflexes (D)
No longer grants passive armor.
Talents
Level 1
Naisha’s Memory (Active)
The jumps no longer deal bonus damage.
Level 16
Means to an End (Passive)
The bonus for physical damage was reduced from 35 to 25%.
Now activates when Maiev has any amount of bonus armor.
Maiev is fundamentally designed to take on multiple opponents at once. Only when enemies are close together can she unleash her full potential and reset the cooldown of her damage abilities in a flash.
Did you play Maiev in those three days? Do you agree with the players’ view that she was way too powerful? And how do you like her now?
Fans of Cyberpunk 2077 should brace themselves. The next trailer is said to feature “a lot of death.”
Cyberpunk 2077 is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated games. After the developers at CD Projekt RED convinced the last skeptics, they now need to prove whether they can also handle a game set in the Cyberpunk universe.
In the Spanish newspaper El Pais, an interview between Vodafone and Mike Pondsmith has surfaced, the creator of the pen & paper on which Cyberpunk 2077 is based.
Pondsmith explained that a new trailer would be coming soon, which – similar to the first trailer – would contain some gruesome elements. There will be “plenty of death” to see and many details to discover, which should merit multiple viewings.
The core conflict in Cyberpunk is between the upper class, leading corporations, and ordinary people, who have the means to rise against the rulers thanks to technology. That this sometimes leads to armed conflicts and plenty of action goes without saying.
However, there is still no concrete release date for Cyberpunk 2077 or the trailer. The game has been in development for several years, but CD Projekt RED is keeping tight-lipped about release plans. However, fans hope that the upcoming trailer will also announce a rough release date.
When the time comes, you will of course find the trailer on our site.
Are you already looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077? Or are you not interested in the game at all, preferring another game set in the Witcher universe?
A small trailer from Blizzard is causing a stir. Are these the first images of WoW Classic?
The players of World of Warcraft are currently divided into two camps. While one group is eagerly awaiting the release of the next expansion “Battle for Azeroth”, the rest are longing for the release of “Classic” servers.
After many years of begging, pleading, and demanding, Blizzard announced at last year’s BlizzCon that there would finally be classic servers for World of Warcraft. But when exactly they will come is still uncertain.
Now there is a first hint that the development of Classic servers might already be in full swing and progressing well. The European Twitter account of WoW published a tweet reminding that WoW has been around in Europe for 13 years. Attached to this tweet is a short video with the question “When did you create your first character?”

The community was sharp and immediately dissected this small trailer and examined the details closely. The scenes were apparently not recorded on a current server, as they use the old models and the “classic” starting positions of player characters.
However, it also seems that this is not old video material, as the shadows of the objects are clearly better and more detailed than they were in the times of Vanilla-WoW.
The conclusion is that the scenes were recorded on an internal Classic server of Blizzard.
However, there is still no release date for WoW Classic. Many fans even consider 2018 unrealistic, as the developers announced at BlizzCon that it would be a “long-term endeavor.”
Are you excited about World of Warcraft: Classic? Or do you not want to ruin your nostalgic memories? When do you think the Classic servers will be released?
Streamer Dr DisRespect struggles with Chinese players in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) and H1Z1. As he mocks them on Twitch with a bad accent, he faces accusations of racism. While he finds them ridiculous, they are not without effect.
The topic of “cheating” concerns the community of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Since developer Blueholer reached an agreement with the Chinese giant Tencent and the Chinese government now finds the shooter totally okay after initial concerns, PUBG has an absurd number of Chinese players and a problem with cheaters.
With the partnership with China came problems for PUBG
Among PUBG players, it is clear: “The problem lies with China, and it would help to exclude them from our servers.” However, the PUBG Corporation does not want to know anything about a regional lock.
In any case, players from China currently have a rather bad reputation in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. And the burden of cheaters seems to slowly weigh down PUBG’s ascent, while competitor Fortnite prepares to overtake it.
Dr DisRespect yells “China Numba One” in poorly imitated accent
In a video tweet, musician Jimmy Wong shows the ugly side of this conflict. He has compiled clips of popular streamer Dr DisRespect mocking Chinese cheaters in games like PUBG or H1Z1 with an exaggeratedly bad dialect.
He yells “China Numba One” or loudly demands someone wake up and finally ban them: “They are everywhere.”
Dr DisRespect finds this ridiculous and emphasizes that his circle of friends consists of many different nations and cultures. That’s how he was raised. His wife also has Filipino roots. An idiot on Twitter accuses him of racism to gain attention.
Is this already racist?
Wong points out that while he is aware of the problems with Chinese players in H1Z1 and PUBG, those problems do not give anyone the right to mock their language openly. The streamer should just stop being an ass.
Even in many comments on gaming sites, people are rather aggressive towards Dr DisRespect. They ask, for example, why he brings up his love for his wife when he cheated on her just before. Furthermore, the argument “I even have foreign friends” is seen as problematic. One can behave racially without being racist.
However, there are also many voices that stand by Dr Disrespect and find the accusations exaggerated, particularly on Twitter. They believe such accusations are overly sensitive and that critics should not make a fuss.
Dr DisRespect finds accusations ridiculous, but they have achieved something
Even though Dr Disrespect dismisses the accusations as ridiculous, they apparently made him think. A little later, when he impersonates Belgian action star Jean Claude Van Damme, he pauses briefly to clarify: “This is not racism. This is a tribute.
