The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) will soon provide all buyers of the new addon Summerset with the crafting profession Jewelry Crafting. As the name suggests, you can create rings and necklaces with it. So far, these jewelry items were the only ones you could not craft. Instead, they had to be painstakingly found in dungeons and raids.
However, for buyers of the new addon Summerset and their friends, this should change soon.
Everything you need to know about Jewelry Crafting!
Jewelry crafting is a trade like any other and can be learned accordingly. However, there are a few special rules:
Only those who buy Summerset can craft jewelry
Crafted jewelry is freely tradable
Anyone can mine jewelry resources in the game world
There will also be jewelry items for sets, but they will have the same requirements. So you need a corresponding number of researched traits for the respective set item.
Jewelry can be crafted, deconstructed, analyzed, and improved at a jewelry crafting station. Additionally, you can refine the raw materials for jewelry there.
What resources do I need for jewelry?
To craft jewelry, you need dust. You obtain this in so-called “nodes”. Such mining nodes can be found where ores for blacksmithing are located, namely at rocks and cliffs.
You can then refine the dust at a jewelry crafting station into “ounces”. From the ounces, you then create bark and amulets. Depending on the desired level, you will need ounces from the following materials:
Level 1-25: Tin
Level 26 – 50: Copper
Champion 10 – 60: Silver
Champion 70 – 140: Electrum
Champion 150 – 160: Platinum
What traits can my jewelry have?
Like all crafting items, jewelry can also be endowed with various traits. In addition to the already known traits, there are 6 new traits that apply only to jewelry. The new traits are:
Arcane: Increases maximum Magicka; can be found everywhere, requires Cobalt
Reinforcing: Increases maximum Health; can be found everywhere, requires Antimony
Robust: Increases maximum Stamina; can be found everywhere, requires Zinc
Protective: Increases physical and magical resistance; can be found in Unfathomable chests, requires Titanium (from daily dungeons)
Trinitarian: Increases Health, Stamina, and Magicka; you receive it at the end of the Summerset and Psijic quest lines, requires Dawn Prism (mainly found in Summerset)
Fulfilled: Increases the efficiency of enchantments; can be found everywhere at Psijic portals, requires Aurbic Amber (found at Psijic portals)
Swift: Increases movement speed; you get it from completing crafting writs, requires Gold Wax (can be purchased for writs)
Harmonious: Increases the effectiveness of synergies; you receive it from the rewards for weekly raid quests, requires Dibelium (also found in raid rewards)
Bloodthirsty: Increases damage against enemies with low health; can be obtained through new daily quests in Cyrodiil, requires Butcher’s Stone (can be exchanged for alliance points)
How can I enhance jewelry?
Jewelry can be enhanced at the crafting table like any other crafting item. For this, you will again need special materials, which are created in the form of “fragments” when processing raw materials or deconstructing jewelry. From these fragments, you will create rods to increase the quality of the jewelry.
There are the following enhancement materials for the respective quality levels:
Green: Ternesit
Blue: Irdium
Purple: Zircon
Gold: Chrome

The leaked Shinys apparently have nothing to do with the Kanto week in Pokémon GO. That is the sober realization after days full of hope.
The last few days have not been easy for some trainers in the Pokémon GO community. Before the Kanto event started on Tuesday, there were changes in the code related to Shiny monsters. In connection with the vaguely announced Kanto event, people hoped for a Shiny event. But that has yet to happen. YouTubers are apologizing.
Great hope after Data Mining
The news of the last days before the start of the event raised great hopes. It was about Shinys. These are color-altered Pokémon. Because the Shiny form is so rare, it is particularly interesting for collectors.
The Kanto event started in Pokémon GO on Tuesday evening. Just before that, data mining revealed that Niantic had made changes to the Shiny forms of over 100 Pokémon. At first glance, this added up, as the community knew:

Players from the community are now directing their frustration at the developers at Niantic. However, this is the wrong address. The developers never officially connected the announced Kanto event with Shinys.
There were hints and conclusions that the community put together.
With the Kanto event, Niantic has launched an event designed to help players complete their PokéDex. At the same time, they are facilitating a challenging task for the encounter with Mew with increased spawns of, for example, Magikarp.
Witch It won the German Computer Game Award (DCP) 2018 in the category “Best German Game” and even triumphed over Monster Hunter World in the “Best International Multiplayer Game” category. We are testing whether “Witch It” is really that good.
In Witch It, hunters fight against witches. The hunter must protect his village from the spellcasters by locating and killing the witches within a few minutes. The witches hide and transform into anything. If they survive, they win.
Currently, there are three game modes:
“Hide & Seek” is the standard mode. Hunters and witches choose their abilities at the start and increase their selection through additional matches. In the hiding phase, the witches disguise themselves, while in the searching phase, they need to be found.
“Hunt a hag” takes away all abilities from the players; it resembles a hide-and-seek game in the real world.
In the “Mobification” mode, captured witches become hunters.
Our Play Report
Witch It impresses with its simple controls. I use, besides WASD, the mouse buttons and “Q” for using the abilities. The hiding phase only lasts half a minute, creating time pressure. Therefore, I need to quickly find a safe hiding place and disguise myself as a suitable object.
The maps are very small, and with a hat and broom, I attract attention too quickly. Here too, the controls are very easy; I select an object nearby, and I am instantly a copy of it.
I can still move and fly afterward. Both are important to better disguise myself. It stands out when there’s a ladder lying around on the ground or when two shells cuddle on the beach.
Tracking the Witch
My first game was on an island. Therefore, I wanted to become a ball and lie on the beach. It was unwise to position myself on a slope, as a ball commonly rolls away. I tried to counteract and take a steady position.
However, my attempt failed as my constant movements caught the attention of a hunter. He attacked me. Since he needs to hit multiple times, I rolled away to escape.
The aiming system of the hunters is very poor; it’s nowhere near as precise as in a shooter. They compensate for this disadvantage with their high movement speed. They effortlessly catch up with a fleeing witch.
I had to constantly make use of my abilities. Short-term flying helps me over obstacles and gives me a few seconds of lead. If I then transform into another object, I can survive. And I succeeded; I transformed from a ball into a cushion, and the hunter ran past me.
Man’s Best Friend: the Chicken
The hunter has a few tools, including a faithful throwable chicken. If an enemy is nearby, it immediately alerts, allowing hidden witches to be detected.
If the hunter loses sight of his target, he should use his companion. If the witch is nearby, the chicken will alert. If the hunter then attacks his surroundings, he will soon find the witch. A scream informs him when he has hit her.
Witches Seem to Have the Advantage
I played several matches on the official servers. Team selection happens randomly; 35% of the players are hunters. In each match, the witches won because their abilities are significantly stronger. For example, they later unlock the option to take on the position of the selected object. So the witch does not become a second copied shell, but the one original. This goes unnoticed.
This turned me into an apple sitting alone on a beam. There, no one noticed me, and I remained in the same spot until the end of the game. Many games go similarly; while a few witches get caught at the beginning, usually three or more survive until the end.
Whether it was due to the inexperience of the hunter players since they are also new players, or if there is really a lack of balancing, could not be determined.
Witch It – Few Players Despite High Ratings
Despite the good Steam ratings, there are only a few players. Although there are numerous EU servers, usually only one is filled.
The graphics of Witch It are nice to look at. They fit well with the game, and a gaming PC will not be overwhelmed. However, the physics engine does require some performance, as all objects can be moved. If you run against a box, it wobbles, and the book lying on it falls off.
For a few rounds, the game is entertaining, especially when hunters and witches have found each other. But Witch It is not suitable for more than a few matches. Everything unlocks very quickly. The player count is low, and the feeling that the witches always win reduces motivation as a hunter.
Is Witch It Really the Best International Multiplayer Game of the Year?
As “Best Youth Game”, I can still imagine Witch It, but not as “Best International Multiplayer Game”. It seems as if the DCP wanted to crown a child-friendly and German title as the winner, without blood or real fights. Monster Hunter World is overall the clearly better game, but admittedly a bit cumbersome in multiplayer.
Although Witch It is suitable for all target groups, it feels out of place as the winner of this category. Nominated for “Best International Multiplayer Game” were Monster Hunter World, Splatoon 2, and Witch It.

We were at the final of the Virtual Bundesliga of FIFA 18 and observed the best players in Germany. Here we reveal 10 tricks that you can learn from the professionals.
The elite of German FIFA eSports gathered in Dortmund over the Easter weekend to compete for the German championship in FIFA 18. The winner of the so-called Virtual Bundesliga was the 19-year-old Tim “TheStrxngeR” Katnawatos.
We were on site and studied all 24 participants of the final round, picking up quite a few things. In this article, we summarize the ten most important tips and tricksthat can help you achieve even more success in Ultimate Team mode.
1. Choose the right formation
The choice of formation is more important than one might think, as not every formation is equally promising for success. Moreover, a three-man defense or a lone striker may not fit every playing style.
Most FIFA professionals usually play with the narrow diamond, 4-2-3-1, or 4-4-2. We also saw the 4-2-2-2 frequently during the final of the virtual Bundesliga.
One point that is often underestimated is concentration. In close matches, every little mistake can lead to a goal against and thus a defeat. To avoid being easily distracted by the game, two things help:
Disable the sound from FIFA. The commentators’ narratives and the fans’ chants often just distract unnecessarily.
Instead, listen to your own music, so you won’t be distracted by other noises. Many e-sport professionals adhere to this rule: except for Mirza, who likes to be pushed by his fans, every one of the four semi-finalists had headphones on.
The most important recipe for success in FIFA gaming at a high level is to avoid unnecessary ball losses so that you do not fall into a counterattack. Therefore, professionals very often work with close dribbling.
You need to hold the L1 button on the PS4 controller and the LB button on the Xbox pad, which allows your player to keep the ball very close to his feet and makes it difficult to take the ball away. Some pros have kept the ball this way for several in-game minutes and calmly played around the opponent’s penalty area while waiting for the optimal passing option.
4. Use few skill moves
Many FIFA players believe that a good playing style also includes the use of many skill moves. However, this is a misconception; the professionals of the virtual Bundesliga hardly used any special moves during the final.
Instead of chaining 20 different moves together, you should rather master a few effective tricks. These include in FIFA 18 the “Heel to Heel Flick” (Heel to Heel, quickly pressing the right stick up and back down), the ball roll (holding the right stick in the direction of movement), the drag back (hold RT/R1 and push the right stick away from the opponent), and the shot fake (first press the shoot button, then the pass button).
5. Use different set-piece variants
The new German FIFA vice-champion Mirza Jahic demonstrated at the tournament: set pieces can be extremely dangerous in FIFA 18 and can yield relatively easy goals. However, it is important not to always use the same variations for corners and free kicks.
Corner kicks: For corners, Mirza Jahic often brought a player to the corner flag, walked a few meters back into the half-field with him, and then sent in a low cross to the goal area. You achieve this by double-tapping the cross button. Two other dangerous variations are the corner to the near post or a short corner.
Free kicks: You have even more options for free kicks. Instead of shooting directly at the goal (which very few FIFA professionals do), you can also lay the ball off or pass around the wall. 6. Press properly
In FIFA 18, the good players are often distinguished from the really good players mainly by their defense. TheStrxngeR also earned the title as German champion primarily because he defends extremely well and puts early pressure on.
When gaming against friends, you might get laughed at for taking a few seconds to set individual tactics. However, player instructions and team management settings can be extremely helpful.
However, there is no “one” instruction or tactic that will guarantee you a win. You have to test and experiment which settings fit your playing style best. But it’s worth the effort, as it gives you more control over your entire team, even over the players you are not currently controlling.
For example, professionals often instruct their outside backs and defensive midfielders to stay back on attacks or set their forwards to make more runs behind the defense.
You cannot achieve your goals against every opponent with the same methods. If you are behind, it is almost always necessary to change something in your game.
For example, you might choose to play more defensively against aggressive opponents and wait for counterattacks, or hold the ball longer in midfield and calmly wait for the right moment for the decisive pass.
A frequently chosen tactic by professionals was a change in formation or tactics. With his 4-2-3-1 formation, TheStrxngeR struggled against Mirza’s 4-4-2 for a long time during the final of the virtual Bundesliga. However, once he switched to a 4-2-2-2, the situation improved significantly.
If things don’t go as planned, you should analyze your opponent and react accordingly. If he often plays down the wings, choose a wider formation or increase the shift value in your tactic. If you urgently need a goal, switch to a three-man defense and increase the attacking speed or the pressure in defense in your tactic.
9. Nutrition and balance with gaming
If you are serious about your FUT career, you should follow an important tip from vice-champion Mirza Jahic. He himself, alongside his career as an e-sports athlete, is also a martial arts trainer and says that for him, the right nutrition and exercise as a balance to gaming is very important.
Many other e-sports athletes also engage in strength training alongside their careers. This serves to unwind and clear the mind. If you only play, you will eventually stagnate and lose more often. After all, a lot happens while playing FIFA that can be frustrating.
10. Practice makes perfect
Of course, following our tips does not automatically lead to victory in Ultimate Team mode and in Weekend League. Only if you train diligently will you truly improve.
However, you can still optimize the practice: instead of just playing and always wanting to win, train intentionally! Do you want to learn a specific special move? Use it as often as possible, even if you lose the ball and the game as a result.
At first, new things like tricks, formations or missing game sound may feel strange. Over time, however, you will get used to it and become more routine.

Bless Online is one of the last truly large AAA MMORPGs that is still in development. But does Bless manage to meet high expectations after being pulled back? Final Fantasy XIV already demonstrated this with A Realm Reborn. That gives hope, says guest author Marco Scheler.
When Bless Online was first introduced, it looked fantastic in the trailers. Beautiful graphics based on Unreal Engine 3 fueled hopes that a new big AAA MMORPG was on the horizon. Aeria Games appeared as the publisher responsible for distribution in the West, but then announced in June 2017 that the localization efforts had been halted. They felt unable to get the game on the right track.
Just 7 days later, Neowiz announced that they would bring Bless Online to the West themselves, along with a major overhaul of the game. They also recently released a video showcasing the changes that have already been made. These include the combat system, character customization, pets and mounts, as well as the stats. The Steam Version of Bless Decides the Future
After the servers in Korea and Russia were shut down, they have been back online for several months now and are already running a revamped version, which is supposed to differ from our Steam version. The developers are betting heavily on Steam, stating that it is the most advanced version and the roadmap for the future. Bless Online is set to release on Steam on May 30, 2018.
Will the reboot on Steam be successful? The calls from MMO veterans are increasing: They long for a traditional AAA MMORPG. A new world where they can immerse themselves again 4 years after the release of WildStar. Bless presents itself as a candidate to step into these footsteps and perhaps do it better.
And even if the engine in Bless is a bit dated: graphically, Bless doesn’t need to hide behind other current MMORPGs and still looks relatively good. The developers also promise to continue enhancing the graphics.
In Bless, everything revolves around the rivalry between the two factions. The Hieron and the Union. The northern half of the continent is dominated by the Hieron, while the southern half is the domain of the Union. The goal of the Hieron is to unite the entire nation under their flag. The Union, on the other hand, seeks to gain power and usher in a new era. This naturally leads to fierce battles between the two warring nations. The story bears some parallels to Aion and the conflict between the Elyos and the Asmodians.
The quests are standard fare for MMOs: sometimes we help farmers rid their fields of pests or shady bandits. Other times, we find ourselves part of dark conspiracies aimed at the seemingly untouchable nobility. The fully voiced and thrilling main story serves as a red thread.
In Bless Online, we find ourselves in a massive open world that takes us through expansive and highly varied landscapes and is divided into two climate zones. We encounter deserts and icy landscapes, but also coniferous forests and Mediterranean zones. It is possible to roam through multiple zones or even swim without loading screens.
But how does one travel in such a vast world? Exploration and travel in Bless can be done either on foot, via mounts, or through one of the numerous taxi stations – these are floating zeppelins that can cover large distances relatively easily.
And if that’s not enough, you can also search for unique companions and mounts. Almost every creature in Bless can be trapped and tamed. You can tame a bunch of slimes and choose them as companions, or you could also tame a parrot. Or you could even tame a giant troll and ride through the world of Bless on it. There’s something for everyone.
A Credible World
A reader from Mein-MMO.de praised the believable world even back then in the Korea beta of Bless: “Real adventurers prefer to take matters into their own hands, climbing and sprinting over high ridges or through wide valleys. This often provides impressive panoramic views of the believably designed world, which, with its deserts, tropical regions, coniferous forests, Mediterranean zones, and icy landscapes, really offers everything the explorer’s heart desires.
Cheerful concerts by the local frog population invite you to linger at picturesque mountain lakes, while waterfalls announce themselves from afar with a massive roar that grows louder as you approach. It’s these little details that make it very easy to get lost in the world of Bless.”
The Classes and Races of Bless
The Classes and Races in Bless: A total of 5 different class alignments are available, but not every race can play them, which includes the small, cute Masku or the animal people of the Pantera. In general, the class selection sticks to the usual fare and relies on the holy trinity of tank, healer, and damage dealer. Bless will launch in the West with 5 classes – Mystic and Assassin are currently still under revision and will come later. What happens with the 8th class, the Warlock, is still unknown.
Neowiz wants to allow many different playstyles per class with a sandbox-like skill system.
The PvP in Bless
With such a background story, it’s not surprising that PvP plays a major role in Bless. We can compete against each other in arenas and prove our skills. Or we can fight for our guild in massive 100v100 battles where we can conquer zones or even entire castles. The PvP battles are one of the main aspects of the game and play out in a balanced and tactical manner thanks to the classic distribution of healer, tank, and damage dealer.

With patch 1.8.1, Massive finally brings fresh wind to New York. It is the first patch this year and the first point on the roadmap for year 3. But what does the update entail and is it worth it for agents?
We present to you the seven most important new features.
1. More Classified Gear! Agents can look forward to better loot
Massive increases the drop chances for classified set pieces in all areas. Whether in the Light Zone, Dark Zone, or Survival, the rewards are expected to be better.
Additionally, you will be able to target specific containers for a particular set in upcoming global events, giving you a higher chance for your desired pieces.
Overall, this change is a concession to new and casual players who do not want to spend countless hours farming classified gear. Considering the number of available classified sets, it is a welcome step for many players. Currently, it is quite difficult to obtain all 14 sets.
Even in global events, some players have bad luck and are still waiting for individual pieces to complete certain sets.

“I hope I look better than my action figure”
In the conversation, we first wanted to know what role the good Dr. Bashir would play in the new Star Trek Online chapter. Is he an important main character with his own storyline? Or is he just an NPC who gives out quests?
Unfortunately, Alexander couldn’t tell us anything about that, as he hadn’t seen or recorded his lines at the time of the interview. However, he was completely thrilled at the prospect of playing his old role again. After all, Dr. Bashir was his first major role back in 1993.

Meeting Garak again would be particularly wonderful for Alexander Siddig, as he has always enjoyed the dialogues between the enigmatic spy and the idealistic-naive Dr. Bashir.
Preferred to play with the “cool people” from The Next Generation
Beside his escapades in MMOs, Alexander Siddig had a few interesting stories to tell from his time on the set of Deep Space Nine. The DS9 cast was very serious and professional. There was no joking around. In contrast, the people from the other Star Trek series “The Next Generation” were a wild bunch who always made jokes.
While The Next Generation was universally praised, Deep Space Nine was constantly at the center of controversy. A Terribly Nice Family

As is typical for the series, the villains are incredibly charismatic. Joseph Seed could easily pass as a real hipster preacher, trying to convert people through fear of the digital age, globalization, and the growing divide between the rich and the poor.
His siblings, the Lieutenants, are no less interesting, each employing their own methods to draw the people of fictional Hope County to their side, whether willingly or not. For Jacob Seed, the law of the stronger applies, while the mysterious Faith keeps her followers in check with the drug Bliss.
My favorite of the family is the crazy and sadistic John Seed, who resembles a Daniel Bryan lookalike. Not only did I enjoy his region, Holland Valley, but throughout the uprising in the area, the fight against the family’s inquisitor seemed to become more and more personal and literally got under my skin.
Far Cry 5 is Incredibly Atmospheric
The game world in Far Cry 5 is stunning and still a visual feast on my old Xbox One. I don’t even want to count how many hours I’ve wasted wandering through the forests of virtual Montana or quietly fishing by the nearest lake, enjoying the scenery.
For me, the soundtrack contributes a lot to the atmosphere. For example, exploring the game world is accompanied by gentle tones, only to swell to a hectic electronic or rock sound as soon as you find yourself in combat.
Did you know that the Eden’s Gate cult has its own choir and plays its music over the game’s radio stations? As we’ve established, absolute chaos reigns in Far Cry 5. This makes the game perfect for all kinds of antics with a co-op buddy. Whether you tackle the campaign together or just troll around, there is plenty to do for two players in Hope County.
The downside, however, is that only the progress of the first player, who takes on the role of the host, is saved. Unfortunately, the partner who joins the game only plays second fiddle and has to replay missions played in co-op in their game.
