What happened? Shortly before the release of DLC 2, several cryptic tweets from Chris Barrett, the Game Director of Destiny 2, have created excitement and good vibes in the community. The tweets contained a bizarre Russian audio recording, seemingly random combinations of letters and numbers, as well as images of a rabbit and an aurora.
What is special about this? Many Destiny veterans and long-time fans of the Destiny series quickly experienced nostalgia. Already shortly before the release of the “Rise of Iron” DLC for Destiny 1 in September 2016, Bungie hyped the new expansion with a similar event.
Players back then were infected with different nano-viruses, yet had no idea about the meaning of these events. Large parts of the community then set out to solve the puzzles surrounding the mysterious infection, which ultimately pointed to the presence of the newly introduced SIVA technology and thus served as an introduction to the DLC.

It didn’t take long before the first sleuths from the Destiny community found something this time as well. The first “Russian” tweet was decrypted as follows:
“Multiple disrupted Polaris axons report increased sterile neutrino patterning correlating to an increase in AVGPOLARISTEMP.” In German, it means something like “Numerous disrupted Polaris axons indicate an increase in sterile neutrinos correlating with a rise in average Polaris temperature.”
Shortly thereafter, the second tweet was deciphered. The rabbit served as a hint for encryption with the Rabbit Algorithm, and the aurora – the Aurora Borealis – was a clue for the keyword Aurora, which was needed for decryption.

What do these lines mean? There is currently a divide among fans regarding the meaning of the first message. Fans are sure that it refers to a subroutine of Rasputin that also explains the events leading up to the Warmind expansion.
This routine explains the melting of the polar ice caps on Mars with a temperature increase of the POLARIS. It is currently assumed that in this case, Polaris is referring to the North Star.
An increase in sterile neutrinos is said to be responsible for this rise. Sterile neutrinos have been mentioned in the Destiny universe in connection with the Darkness and the Taken.
Lore experts are currently undecided whether the Taken God Xol or a possible return of the Taken might be responsible for their increased presence. Now, they are waiting for further hints or insights.
The second message was much easier for the community to interpret. For high quantities of exotic, organic chitin are attributed to the presence of the Taken, which is released after the melting of the ice.

It is also very nice how someone quickly drinks a shield potion to protect themselves from the explosion. Both characters in this scene are wearing dinosaur skins. Another reference from Epic: Many players thought Season 4 would have “dinosaurs” as a theme. After all, they were also destroyed by a comet.

What to expect in today’s Fortnite update for Battle Royale and PvE?
What will the update bring to Fortnite: Battle Royale? Most likely, you can expect a new Battle Pass, a new theme, and tons of new cosmetic items.

A Belgian streamer has seemingly broken the record for solo kills in a Fortnite squad match with 43 kills. His triumph video showcases everything Fortnite Battle Royale has to offer in 18 minutes.
What happened? The Belgian streamer Klavert “Teeqzy” Dervishi participated in a squad round of Fortnite, which is a mode for 4-player teams. However, he played solo. In this mode, eliminated opponents first collapse and crawl before they receive the final blow. In an 18-minute match that started with 98 players, Teeqzy personally defeated 43 opponents. This is a new record. The old record was 37.

How did the match go? The match can be roughly divided into 3 phases.
Teeqzy landed in the hotspot of the map, Tilted Towers. The start is rather slow. However, one highlight is when he surprises an opponent. At first, he avoids a fight and retreats. But then he destroys the ground, falls down, and scores an easy kill. When Teeqzy leaves Tilted Towers, he has about 8 kills and 61 players are still alive.
In a heated, ongoing duel where a lot of building occurs near Dusty Depot, Teeqzy collects kill after kill. However, he also drops down to 2 health points. He apparently encounters the strongest opponents in the match. When he finishes, he has collected 27 kills and 23 people are still in the game.
Now, heavily armed, he gradually clears the map. Teeqzy nearly always surprises waiting opponents and secures the height advantage. Multiple times in the match, he wipes out camping enemy squads in one go by building a staircase upwards and then shooting them from an elevated position.

In a tweet on April 30, Epic Games clearly referred to “tomorrow,” meaning May 1. Then they are supposed to “brace for impact” and “witness Season 4.” The line about bracing for impact (Brace for Impact) could refer both to the comet’s impact and the leaked name of a new game mode.
What are those figures in the teaser image?
