Niantic announced the events for summer 2018. This includes the GO Fest in Chicago, which will once again feature a regional Pokémon for attendees. At last year’s event, Shuckle appeared in Chicago; this year, Qurtel, which is typically found only in India or South Asia, is expected. An image for the event provides a crucial hint about Qurtel.
Pokémon GO Fest Chicago – Hints about Qurtel
In a new blog post, the Pokémon GO team elaborates on the upcoming GO Fest in Chicago. They also released an image for the event. In the foreground, we can see Pokémon like Minun and Plusle. Hidden in the background of the image is Qurtel, which is directly associated with the event.
On the right side, we see an Unown in the form of the letter B. It seems there will be a selection of Unown during the event again. In the past, Unown in the shapes of letters such as S A F R I were found at Safari events.
However, just because a B-Unown is depicted in the image, it does not mean that this form will be unlocked. At last year’s event, an exclamation mark Unown appeared in the promotional image, which did not show up at the event.
New Special Research Tasks
In the announcement, the team writes regarding research:
While you stroll through the park, you can also discover the Pokémon that live in these habitats. You can also perform new special research projects that come with great rewards.
It is unclear whether these new researches will only be available for trainers in Chicago or will be unlocked worldwide at the same time.
One possibility is that trainers in Chicago might get a head start and begin working on new tasks during the event, while trainers who are not attending the event in Chicago will start later. However, this possibility is merely speculation at this point.
It is also unclear what rewards the new special research tasks will provide. Niantic has not revealed anything about this yet.
Participation Possible Only on One Day
The event in Chicago offers a nearly 3-kilometer-long route through a park, where trainers can explore various Pokémon habitats. Additionally, there will once again be team lounges where you can meet members of Team Red, Blue, and Yellow.
Only one ticket is worthwhile, because you can only catch Pokémon on one day, even though the event spans two days. “Trainers who purchase a ticket for the event on Saturday will not be able to catch Pokémon in the park on Sunday, even if they have a ticket for Sunday,” the announcement states.
Worldwide Event Planned
If you do not wish to travel to Chicago, you will not go empty-handed during the event. Niantic explains that trainers around the world can celebrate Pokémon GO Fest 2018 in a “unique way.”
What the worldwide event will look like is still unclear. During the GO Fest 2017, there were time windows during which many Pokémon had to be caught worldwide. This then unlocked rewards.
The developers plan to release more detailed information about the event soon.

Character creation – There are too few options for creating an individual hero. Most characters look very similar.
Introduction – The game explains too little, there’s no tutorial, no starting quest. As a player, you don’t know what to do at all.
Graphics – Players criticize the lack of detail and clunky animations. The graphics are compared to games from 2006.
Connection errors – There are frequent disconnections that curiously cause players to find themselves in other areas of the game world after logging in.
Microtransactions – The smaller packages in the in-game shop don’t offer enough content, making it so one is practically forced to spend more money if they really want to gain an advantage from the microtransactions.
A lot of bugs – Even the controls and UI are reportedly buggy.
German translation of Wild West Online is heavily criticized
German translation – The German texts are poorly translated. For example, some German items have incorrect names, causing some quests to be uncompletable.
Missing content – Players complain that despite the official release, many promised content such as bounty hunting is not available in the game, and WWO feels more like an alpha.
Unfinished, buggy, too little content – a disgrace

How are the developers responding to the criticism? The developers thank players for their feedback and state that they are continuing to work on content, bug fixes, and improvements. They advise all players to contact the team via email as this is the quickest way to provide feedback.

You were able to craft an event armor for Ryu before, but it was only usable at low rank. Now you can unlock an Alpha Set for high rank with appropriate stats by completing the challenge “The Awakened Satsui No Hado”.
To obtain the armor, you must take on a Nergigante in the arena. The event runs from May 11 to May 24.
Failing Conditions: Time expired, knocked out nine times
Available on: PS4 and Xbox One
Why is there the quest three times? The Awakened Satsui is available three times with the same prerequisites and conditions. Since it is an arena challenge, you only have a special selection of weapons available. However, with the three quests, you have access to all 14 weapon classes . Otherwise, there are no differences between the quests, including the rewards.
The Ryu Set-α has new abilities
As the Ryu Set is a high-rank armor, it has new skills compared to the low-rank armor. However, it is still a one-piece set. This means you cannot mix the armor with others.

The PC version of the Korean MMORPG Blade and Soul is switching to Unreal Engine 4 after over 7 years, demonstrating how the changes will look.
There had been signs that Blade and Soul would switch engines, and it is now confirmed. The upgrade is from Unreal Engine 3 to Unreal Engine 4.
The transition to Unreal Engine 4 will primarily bring improvements in lighting and shadow effects, water, reflections, and overall performance upgrades.
The typical “Blade and Soul” character style is expected to remain as authentic as possible after the adaptation to the new engine.

Epic has once again made changes to the “Infinity Gauntlet” mode in Fortnite via patch. The goal is that while Thanos is powerful, more people can play as Thanos.
This was the problem: The problem was likely that Thanos could withstand too much. He has a 200-point shield and 800 health points. Every time he kills someone, his shield fully regenerates. So, you need to destroy the shield and then deal damage to Thanos without him eliminating anyone. The health pool of 800 was simply too large. Whoever was Thanos remained Thanos for a long time. Just a few days ago, Epic had already changed the mode, but that wasn’t enough. Now they have improved it once more.
This is how Epic solves the problem: They have reduced the health points from 800 to 500. In compensation, Thanos now deals more damage.
