The Patch 8.1 “Tides of Vengeance” is currently active on the World of Warcraft test realm. Data miners are already busy extracting game data and finding all sorts of new content. For players of Night Elves, there will now be a few new customization options.
What customizations are available? Night Elf players who complete the achievement “In Teldrassil’s Shadow” can choose a new skin tone as a color. The special thing about it is that the corresponding faces have black eyes. Normally, Night Elves have glaring silver or golden glowing eyes.
Where does the customization come from? Players receive the necessary achievement when they complete the new quest line surrounding Tyrande. It involves her ascent to a Night Warrior, which players can experience in a scenario. We have explained how this will take place in this article.
Please keep in mind that this information is still from the PTR. Until the release of Patch 8.1, it may change.

Personally, I would have liked it if the “Night Warrior” customizations were only available for female characters, as they actually make up the priesthood of Elune. The Exotic “One Thousand Voices” is overly strong in Destiny 2. Most Guardians, however, do not want a nerf.
Raid Exotic is completely OP: For about a week now, Destiny 2 has had a new OP weapon. It is the “One Thousand Voices”. This is an exotic fusion rifle that only drops with a low probability from the final boss in the raid “Last Wish”. Therefore, only a few Guardians currently possess this weapon.
What makes the weapon so strong? One Thousand Voices fires a “huge, continuous death beam.” This beam shoots as precisely as the Sleeper Simulant and deals enormous damage on direct hits.
However, the Exotic also has something of a rocket launcher. The beam adheres to surfaces and explodes with a slight delay. Thus, One Thousand Voices also deals area damage.

The damage that the weapon causes is enormous. In PvP, the beam can wipe out multiple Guardians at once, and in PvE, the Exotic melts down strong strike bosses in seconds.

The Modifiers for the Global Event – Just Don’t Move
What are modifiers? With the modifiers, The Division wants to bring variety to the different activities. While the first one is always active, the other two can be selected in addition. This also increases your rewards.
These modifiers are active during Ambush:
Ambush – always active: Players deal increased damage when they do not move.
Covert Ambush: The effect of “Ambush” + players take damage when the damage bonus runs out.
What does that mean? A white bar is displayed over the health points when in combat. If you move, this decreases; if you stand still, it refills. If the bar is empty, you take damage over time.
Strategic Ambush: The effect of “Covert Ambush” + damage bonus, and players take damage when they are too close to allies.
In which missions can you select them? You can select Covert and Strategic Ambush only in the missions:
As with every Global Event, there are also three masks during Ambush, which can only be unlocked through commendations during the event.
What do you have to do for the masks? You must fulfill certain commendations related to the modifiers of the respective Global Event. Open your dossier and look under commendations for Ambush. In the list, you will find the commendations you must complete for the mask:

The Secret Sets of the Global Event
What sets will there be? The Global Event Ambush brings four Classified Sets that you can obtain during the period with increased chances. These are
How to get Classified Sets during the event: During Global Events, there are special containers. For each secret set, you can buy Classified containers at the event vendor for the special GE Credits you earn by completing PvP and PvE activities.
These containers are available: The Classified containers are more expensive at 3000 GE Credits, but you can choose which set you want a guaranteed secret item from.
Additionally, there is a container for 1500 GE Credits. This can contain parts of all four sets from the Global Event, and there is a chance for exotic gear. However, you might only receive normal gear parts, which is why this container is only worth it if you don’t want a specific set anymore.
What Happens Next?
According to the plans for September, the developer blog for The Division 2 is scheduled for the 27th. Whether this contains new information about the sequel is unknown. On this day, the next developer live stream, the State of the Game, will also take place.
What happens in The Division 1? What happens next in The Division is open. There may still be Global Events, as two are still missing. Blackout and Outbreak could be ideally used in the coming months.

You must log into the web app or companion app once daily to receive the daily gift. Accept the gift and open it in the shop under “My Packs”
You cannot accept the gifts in the game itself, in FUT 19. You must accept them in the app. The packs can then be opened on your console.
To receive the gifts before the official release date of FIFA 19 (September 28th or September 25th with early access or other access options), you need early access for the app. To do this, you must have created a FUT club in FIFA 18 prior to August 1st, which still exists and has a good reputation. You must not have been banned or otherwise negatively highlighted.
The early access access lasts until October 10th. By then, you must have purchased FIFA 19 and logged into FUT 19 on your platform to continue using the web app and the companion app in full. The daily gift event will then likely be over.

LotRO has a problem
What is the problem? As the recent hint at a new class for the MMORPG The Lord of the Rings Online has shown, even the fans are skeptical of this new feature.
It is now clear that The Lord of the Rings Online is not yet working on a new class, but is only discussing it. But even the hint has caused waves:
The new class must fit the lore of The Lord of the Rings – and this refers to the novel by J.R.R. Tolkien. The community accepts nothing that does not conform to this world.
And this includes, for example, an elf shaman, which would be cool but does not fit the story of The Lord of the Rings.
This shaman would be a kind of wizard, and they generally pose a problem.
That’s why there should be no wizards in The Lord of the Rings Online: The Istari are the only ones who can perform real magic in The Lord of the Rings, and even they do not run around throwing fireballs. Basically, there are only a few Istari in the fantasy world of Middle-earth at the time of the novels. Five are mentioned:
Gandalf, also known as Mithrandir
Saruman the White, leader of the order
Radagast the Brown, who is more interested in nature than in humans
Alatar and Pallando, who went east and never returned
The rune keepers in LotRO are already very close to the line.
However, if one restricts oneself so extremely in terms of gameplay, one moves in a narrow space for interesting innovations. Everything must strictly conform to the lore. Yet innovations are important to keep a game interesting and fresh.
The community could bring about the end of the MMO
A dedicated community: If you look around in the LotRO forum, you will notice that this is a community that is very tightly knit but also shows little openness to new ideas.
Newcomers suggesting new features are immediately confronted. They are told to first engage with the lore before making suggestions.
Such an approach naturally discourages newcomers, who may then quickly lose interest in playing and engaging with the community.
This is how the new MMORPG LotRO could become dangerous: Now that a new MMO in the universe of The Lord of the Rings has been announced by Athlon, this could pose a threat to LotRO. But not because The Lord of the Rings Online is bad, but because the community does not allow innovations that may contradict the lore.
It is understandable that there is this dedicated community that wants an MMORPG that sticks as closely as possible to the novels. However, this also means that they are moving within a niche.
Niche games have the problem of operating on the edge of becoming unprofitable. A niche game only needs a few players to drop out, and the whole product can have a problem. The question arises whether LotRO can afford this focus on a niche in the long term?
Especially, can it afford this when eventually the new MMORPG appears, which may show much more openness toward the lore and thus attract more players?
Lore or fun?
Why lore should not always be so important: Lore and background story are all well and good. But what should always be most important in a game is the fun factor. And if lore gets in the way of fun, then an online game has a major problem.
This applies to The Lord of the Rings Online as well, even if the core fans probably see it differently. An online game is only as strong as its community. The more players participate, the higher the chances that an MMO will survive for a long time. Because without players, online games make no sense.
The LotRO community needs to be more open: If The Lord of the Rings Online is to survive for a long time and compete against the upcoming MMO, it would be wise for the community to show more openness to ideas that might bend the lore a bit. Because eventually, the handful of stubborn core fans who want to stick slavishly to the novels may no longer support the online game. And the end of LotRO would be very unfortunate.
The German YouTuber ApoRed does not receive preferential treatment from Fortnite developer Epic. With an attack on the German community manager, he wants to achieve that.
This is ApoRed: Ahman Nadim Ahadi is one of the largest German-speaking YouTubers. His channel has over 2.4 million subscribers. Recently, it mainly revolves around himself, his sneakers, how expensive an outfit is, and his move.
He became known and notorious with “prank videos.” He threw a bag at passersby and implied that there was a bomb inside. This led to problems with the law (via welt.de).
As a gaming YouTuber “RedSama,” he mainly focuses on Fortnite. His style is similar to that of English-speaking YouTuber Ali-A. He has also faced accusations of clickbait: there are thumbnails where RedSama looks quite shocked at things and a lot of gameplay with commentary.
“He hates me to death”
This is ApoRed’s problem with Epic: In a 25-minute video, ApoRed sharply criticizes a senior employee of Epic Games, Daniel Seehuber.
Seehuber is likely the contact person for German-speaking influencers. He is Community Lead at Epic Games.
ApoRed presents his own perspective in the video. It becomes clear that he desires some privileges from Epic, which he believes he is entitled to because he has supported Fortnite for “so long” and has a large reach.
He wants:
To be invited to the lucrative eSports tournament Fall Skirmish
Permanent access to the exclusive Streamer Mode “Custom Game”, so he can play with his community in custom lobbies
His contact person at Epic Games to respond to his messages immediately
And preferential treatment for his friend “Steel”
The response from Epic: From the messages from Seehuber, which ApoRed reads out, it can be seen why Epic does not grant him preferential treatment:
Epic distances itself from ApoRed. It is said that ApoRed is not “brandsafe.” This likely means that, due to previous behavior, such as the “There is a bomb in the bag” incident, he has received negative attention. Epic wants nothing to do with him.
Additionally, a “clickbait video” by ApoRed about Fortnite is explicitly criticized. He titled it “Epic gives me the rarest skin.” In reality, ApoRed simply bought a PlayStation 4 bundle, which included the skin.
Furthermore, Seehuber is said to not grant many of these privileges himself but rather others at Epic.
ApoRed makes it personal
ApoRed’s problem with Seehuber: ApoRed’s anger is directed not against Epic as a whole, but against his contact person there: ApoRed sees Epic’s rejection as a personal misbehavior on Seehuber’s part.
ApoRed feels he is treated “cheekily” by him. This has never happened to him in all his years on YouTube. Moreover, Seehuber is said to prefer other Fortnite YouTubers who are personally closer to him. ApoRed finds them “irrelevant.”
He considers Epic’s objections to be ridiculous. He feels entirely “brandsafe” and “authentic,” and has numerous collaborations with companies. ApoRed thinks Seehuber must have personal reasons for treating him this way. He accuses Seehuber of “hating him to death.”

ApoRed wants to apply pressure: In the video, ApoRed calls on his community to spam Seehuber on all social channels. Above all, they should inform Seehuber’s superiors.

YouTube colleague critically critiques ApoRed: Another well-known German YouTuber is “HandofBlood.” He sharply criticizes ApoRed. In a post on Twitter, HandofBlood advises his colleague to delete the video before he gets sued again.

The next patch of World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is active on the test servers. The Update 8.1 “Tides of Vengeance” brings many new stories and exciting developments in the lore. Some of these events have already been read from the game data and promise changes for the Night Elf Tyrande.
Spoiler Warning:If you do not want to know about Tyrande’s fate, do not continue reading. You have been warned.
Return to Teldrassil: In patch 8.1, Tyrande and some Night Elves return to the Darkshore and thus to Teldrassil to witness the extent of the destruction. However, Tyrande wants to complete a ritual that makes her a “Night Warrior” – a Night Warrior.
What is a Night Warrior? Although there is currently little information about a “Night Warrior”, it is not a completely new construct. Those who pursue the profession of Archeology may know the item “Necklace with Elune’s Pendant”. Its description states:
“Elune is the supreme deity of the Night Elves. She is associated with the larger of the two moons, the White Lady. Although she is a goddess of peace, she is by no means pacifistic. One of her aspects is the Night Warrior, who lets the souls of those who have proven themselves brave in life ride as stars across the sky.”
This suggests that the ritual represents a specialization within the priesthood of Elune. After all, the priestesses of the Night Elves are trained warriors, skilled with the bow, and master strategists.
The steps in the scenario: Tyrande’s ascension is explained during a scenario that presumably takes place at the end of a questline. Even though the scenario surrounding Tyrande’s ascension is not yet playable, the individual steps and their descriptions have already been extracted. Accordingly, the scenario proceeds as follows:
Sail to the ruins of Auberdine.
Find the Eye of Elune in the ruins of Auberdine.
Defeat “Bilegut” and escape from the hall.
Investigate the screams nearby.
Rescue the captured Kaldorei in the Withering Thicket.
Find Tyrande in Bashal’Aran.
Protect Tyrande while she completes the Night Warrior ritual.
Witness Tyrande’s ascension to Night Warrior.
Hunt Nathanos Blightcaller.
Find Nathanos Blightcaller nearby.
Intervene before Nathanos resurrects the fallen as Forsaken.
Return to the fleet and scout the Horde army.
How the scenario proceeds will presumably be revealed by Blizzard only in the live version. There is no release date for that yet.
New model for Tyrande: The ritual to become a Night Warrior causes Tyrande to receive a different model at the end. Besides her significantly more impressive armor, another detail has changed: her eyes have turned black. This is likely an expression of Elune’s “dark side” and thus quite fitting for a Night Warrior.

According to data mining results, Callum stole the weapon component that needs to be found from the Wanderer. In the quest, you need to return it to the Wanderer.
Another quest step is to kill a Malfeasance boss in a Gambit match. At the end of the quest line, you will receive the Exotic “Malfeasance” from the Wanderer.
This is a lore-rich quest line, which likely hints at future events in Destiny 2. At the end of one quest step, it says: The Wanderer sees something special in you. You are unlike the other Guardians. You are wilder, stronger, and perhaps a bit meaner than the others.
Additionally, there is the following information at another quest completion: The Drifter warns you that his old enemy, the man with the Golden Gun, may come looking for you. You are guilty not only because of your affiliation but also because of your actions.
In other words, if we possess the Exotic Malfeasance, Shin Malphur is probably after us. Because he hunts everyone who possesses replicas of the Thorn. And the Malfeasance is such a replica.

By the way: The Thorn was a powerful weapon in Destiny 1, which dominated towards the end of Year 1 in PvP. It was known as the “Poison Needle.”

Recently, they revealed on Twitter the official name of the map of Fallout 76, which will be called Appalachia. Apparently, instruments will turn into weapons there.

Where does the name come from? The name comes from the indigenous Appalachee tribe. Their territories primarily lay in a mountain range called the Appalachians. The economic and cultural areas around the mountain are also called Appalachia.
West Virginia, the U.S. state where Fallout 76 will take place, is located right in these mountains and is also called the “Mountain State.”
That’s why the people of West Virginia are excited about the new Fallout: Many hope for increased tourism due to the attention that Fallout 76 brings to West Virginia.

At the Tokyo Game Show, Capcom announced more Arch-Tempered monsters for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Monster Hunter World. First, Lunastra will grace us with her presence, the Zorah Magdaros will come at a later date. In addition, a crossover will continue.

Arch-Tempered Lunastra is coming in October
Next month, the next Arch-Tempered monster, Lunastra, is set to arrive. The quest is called “When Blue Dust Surpasses Red Lust”.
When is Lunastra coming? The Arch-Tempered Lunastra will be available in Monster Hunter World from October 4th until October 18th.
What rewards can you expect? You must collect tickets by slaying the Arch-Tempered Lunastra to craft the Empress γ set. What stats the armor will have is still unknown. Additionally, you can use the tickets to create the Sakura decoration set.
The probably largest monster in MHW, Zorah Magdaros, will also receive an Arch-Tempered variant. The associated quest is called “Undying Alpenglow”.
When is Zorah Magdaros coming? Unfortunately, Capcom did not reveal a date for the Elder Dragon. Most likely, he will arrive at the end of October, possibly right after the Arch-Tempered Lunastra. We will keep you updated.
What rewards can you expect? As with all Arch-Tempered monsters, you can also obtain a γ set variant of Zorah by collecting tickets for slaying the monster.
Zorah is a special monster whose quest follows a siege-style format. Whether there will be changes is still unknown.
