Rockstar has introduced a first-person camera to first testers for Red Dead Redemption 2.
First Person right at launch: In Red Dead Redemption 2, you can choose whether you prefer to play in first or third person. The feature to switch the camera to first person is expected to be available right at the launch of RDR 2.
Play Red Dead Redemption 2 in First Person
Easy to switch: The option to change the camera perspective should be easy to find. You just need to tap the touchpad on your PlayStation 4 controller and switch between five different views:
1st Person
3 variants of 3rd Person
and Cinematic Camera (hold the touchpad).
Switching between views should be possible at any time.
A whole different experience: The first-person camera is said to give the game more depth and allow you to immerse yourself even better in the action. According to Rockstar, the entire game should be playable in first person:
Riding horses should also be possible in first person. Now that it is known that you can drift while riding to take out your opponents, such an action in first person should be quite impressive. Only cutscenes are excluded.

GTA V as a model: Red Dead Redemption 2 thus once again follows in the footsteps of GTA V. After the announcement of Red Dead Online, an online mode reminiscent of that of GTA V, the feature of the first-person camera is now also being introduced.

Per week, you should only have a chance for One Thousand Voices once per character. So you’ll have to rely on luck. Only the World-First team from Last Wish received the weapon guaranteed after the final boss encounter.
What One Thousand Voices can do
One Thousand Voices has exciting stats for a fusion rifle:
The charge time is an incredible 1000, the range is a maximum of 100. Only the handling is really poor – which, given the weapon’s enormous power, is bearable. In-game, you can see that the damage bar of the weapon is fully filled.

Better than Sleeper Simulant: According to Mtashed, One Thousand Voices plays similarly to Sleeper Simulant – only with additional area damage. Additionally, no laser beam is fired that must land precisely. Instead, you can first target one enemy and then further targets while the death ray leaves the weapon.

Gjallarhorn comparisons arise
Strong and versatile: One Thousand Voices not only deals devastating damage but is also usable in many situations. According to Mtashed, it is definitely one of the best exotics ever to exist in Destiny. It even reminds of the Gjallarhorn, which still enjoys cult status in the community.
Gjallarhorn feeling: In Year 1 of Destiny 1, Gjallarhorn was the overpowered weapon that every Guardian wanted. Because this rocket launcher was the solution to all problems. There was no need for tactics, just shoot Gjallarhorn at bosses or hordes of enemies – after that, nothing stood anymore. It is similar with One Thousand Voices now.
One Thousand Voices is an extremely rare drop and thus a weapon that only a few Guardians possess right now. With Gjallarhorn, you also had to rely on luck (or on Xur) to obtain it. Deoxys is the new EX-Raid boss in Pokémon GO. This mysterious Pokémon is different from other monsters. We will show you the first details such as battle stats and weaknesses here.
Deoxys is, like Celebi and Mew, one of the mysterious Pokémon in the game. Until now, these could only be obtained through special research. Deoxys now replaces Mewtwo in EX-Raids. The powerful Psychic-type Pokémon actually appears in four different forms. However, Niantic has only announced the Normal form so far.
Similar to Mewtwo: Despite the different forms, Deoxys can be defeated with similar Pokémon like Mewtwo. Therefore, you don’t need to create a new battle team. Its weaknesses are exactly like Mewtwo’s: Dark, Ghost, and Bug.
Deoxys’ different forms
First only one form: The special thing about Deoxys is its Normal, Attack, Defense, and Speed forms. However, Niantic mentioned in their announcement that you can challenge Deoxys in its Normal form. It is still unclear whether and when the other forms will be introduced into the game.
In each form, Deoxys has different battle stats. Its maximum combat points were calculated at PokémonGOHub using the usual formula that has also been applied to other monsters. There is no guarantee that these battle and CP values will be implemented the same way in Pokémon GO. Niantic may adjust the numbers before Deoxys’ release.
Deoxys’ CP is not higher than 3000 in any form. This makes it seem weak at first glance, but upon closer inspection, its strengths become apparent.

Normal form: Already in its Normal form, Deoxys possesses the highest attack value (345) of all Pokémon in the game. Its defense value, however, is below average. Its HP value is also among the lowest. This makes it comparable to Gengar and also gives it a glass cannon character. However, its HP and attack values are further apart than those of Gengar. This means it deals even more damage but is taken down faster than the Ghost-type Pokémon.

Attack form: In its Attack form, Deoxys is much more powerful than in its Normal form. Its attack value increases to 414, making it almost twice as strong in attack as Tyranitar. Mewtwo has over 100 attack points less. However, its defense suffers greatly, dropping to 46. Even a Caterpie has a higher defense value (55).

Defense form: In this form, Deoxys transforms into a Pokémon with an excellent defense value and can only be surpassed by four Pokémon. Among them, Regirock and Regice are two legendary Pokémon that rank above Deoxys. If this form appears in raids, one must expect that more trainers will be needed than with a Deoxys in Normal form to successfully complete the raid. However, if you own such a Deoxys, it would be almost useless, since you cannot place legendary or mysterious Pokémon in gyms yet. Other forms would be significantly more effective for attacking.

Speculations about Deoxys’ Forms
The biggest discussion among trainers on this topic is whether Niantic will release further forms of Deoxys and how these will be determined. For now, only the Normal form is available in the game. The community is actively discussing and has many ideas.
Below we present theories shared by trainers on social networks. However, keep in mind: it is still absolutely unclear whether Deoxys will even get further forms in Pokémon GO.
Weather theory: The weather could play a role in Deoxys’ form. For example, you could encounter the Attack form in sunny weather and the Defense form in the rain in the game. This is also the theory from “coqui42” on Reddit.
Team color theory: This would be the first time that the chosen team color plays a role in Pokémon captured. One team could receive one form while the other two teams receive a different form.

Random theory: Chance could also play a big role. Each trainer can fight against the same Deoxys, but chance then decides which form each trainer receives.
IV theory: The Reddit user “Ghosting121” suspects that the form has to do with the IVs. It should be similar to the evolution of Surskit into Hitmontop, Hitmonlee, or Hitmonchan. Depending on whether the HP, attack, or defense value is the highest, Deoxys assumes the respective form. If two values are equal, it appears in the Normal form.
Trading theory: This assumption is frequently discussed in forums and has received a lot of attention. Every player catches the same form and can then trade their Deoxys with friends for a different form. This idea would also tap into the principle of console games. There, forms could also change through trading. Niantic would also benefit from this and make the new trading function more attractive. Deoxys would thus be the first Pokémon to change its form upon trading.

Looking at the MMORPG market, one misses the big, new online role-playing games in the style of World of Warcraft. Indie titles compete for fans’ favor yet often do not know whether to rely on classic virtues or innovations.
Ashes of Creation – Innovative, but players still express criticism
Especially the quests with consequences are an interesting system: This could solve a major problem in MMORPGs. The fact that quests have no consequences and are merely a means to an end to gain items and EXP has held the genre back for years.
And yet, there is a lot of criticism for this: Players claim they just want to log into the MMO, complete quests, slay monsters, and improve their character. They ask:
Why must this principle be so “complicated”?
Why do developers want to force weird innovations into a game?
Thus, the rather innovative Ashes of Creation is viewed critically by some readers at MeinMMO:
Bodycore shares this opinion: “Honestly… Forget it… This type of game cannot offer us demanding PvE players what we are looking for. If PvE is not a focus, the resources to keep us engaged are lacking… I found AoC but I think the money was thrown to the wind. (Wink smiley)”
Ectheltawar has an interesting opinion: “Sounds good in theory, but I fear it won’t work in practice. If player XY logs into his game at night and only wants to slay something, he depends on someone else to create that condition. And even if it is created, the information must reach that player. Sounds really exciting, but I doubt it will work out well. Ultimately, dungeons and raids, not to mention quests, appeal to a certain type of player. And when they log into their game, they want to do exactly that.”
Are classic MMOs more popular? For years, some MMORPG players have hoped for a new, large MMO. But when someone plans a classic MMORPG, other players bring out the argument “innovation.”
Let’s take Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. It could be considered the prime example of a classic MMORPG. It offers everything that defined MMOs in the past and is seen as the spiritual successor to Everquest.
Apart from its outdated graphics, the title should appeal to all those who wish for a classic MMORPG like Pantheon. However, it is then said that the game lacks innovations. It is too old-fashioned, not modern enough, and offers too little new content.
Mein-MMO reader Yoshi writes: “Even though I wish so much for a real PvE game like FFXIV or limited WoW – Pantheon looks a bit… old-fashioned. Not that it bothers me (maybe it does somewhere), but with such a design, it won’t attract many players – even if they have been waiting for something like this. Not even as a niche game.”
asdf thinks: “Old school or not. Why do you have to release such ‘gameplay’ videos? The combat system is ridiculously poor. Yes alpha blah, blah, blah, but such things scare people away. To call the fights lame is very polite.”
Kendryk Young says: “Classic PVE. Oh man, when I read such things… primitive button smashing, where you circle around the opponent – that should be fun for long… Hitting an NPC for hours and not caring about anything sounds like a mobile game.”
It is paradoxical. On one hand, MMO fans want something classic; however, it must not be too classic. And when it comes to innovations, they want them, but not too innovatively.
It shows: The MMORPG market is fragmented. Different groups want completely different games.
That is why developers are uncertain: It is not surprising that development studios are reluctant to announce a large MMORPG. The costs for developing such a game are enormous, and if you don’t even know who to target with this game, the risk becomes very high.
Sure, there are also players who already like Ashes of Creation and Pantheon and wish for such a game. However, all the negative voices lead to uncertainty. How far can an MMO developer go with innovations? How many classic elements must be included?
The MMORPG market is fragmented. This makes it difficult for developers to create a “large MMORPG” that appeals to many.

Bungie is rolling out the updates: Since the Forsaken launch, Bungie has been diligently working on updates and hotfixes. Several patches have already been released, and there is no end in sight for the necessary bug fixes. Today, on September 20, the second update of the week is coming.
By the way, maintenance work has taken place every day this week in the background, including today. The developers have quite a bit to do.
The important times for today, September 20.:
At 18:00 maintenance will begin without server downtime. You can still log in and play. Bungie is working in the background on the servers.
Also at 18:00 another update, hotfix 2.0.3.1, will be made available worldwide on all platforms. You need to download and install it to continue playing Destiny 2. If you are in game at that time, you will be prompted to download the update at your next activity completion in orbit.
Already at 18:45 all guardians will be forced to install the update. If you are still in an activity at this time, you will be kicked back to the login screen. You will only continue once the update is installed.
Around 19:00 maintenance will be completed. If clan features and the companion app were disabled during maintenance, they will go live again now.
Tip: Don’t start any lengthy activities shortly before 18:00 – like the raid. Once you have installed the update, you can happily start anything in Destiny 2 that you want.
What changes with update 2.0.3.1?
The key changes:
The Offering for the Oracle no longer ends up in the inventory as consumables, but in the quest section. However, this weekly bounty has been temporarily removed, for which you need the Offering. Therefore, you only have to complete two weekly bounties (instead of three) this week to master the challenge with Petra.
There was also a glitch that gave you many enemy crates. This has now been fixed as well.
In Gambit, all kills with hand cannons now count towards the Pikass quest – not just Invader kills anymore.

Issues with Powerful Gear – Update: Were not fixed: A few hours ago, Bungie tweeted that they are investigating issues with powerful gear. Apparently, this sometimes delivers items with too low power levels. They are working on a fix, and the problem is now of the highest priority.
Whether today’s hotfix will resolve this issue remains to be seen. However, the hotfix had already been announced before the issue with powerful gear arose. You can find the long list of all current issues in Destiny 2 on the Bungie page.
At Gamescom 2018, the new combat helicopters for War Thunder were showcased for the first time. With update 1.81 “The Valkyries,” the helicopters are now playable, although not for everyone.
The 4th weapon type in the game: With combat helicopters, War Thunder becomes even more complex. These flying platforms are particularly well-suited for wreaking havoc on ground targets. On the other hand, the helicopters are slower than planes and can therefore be effectively countered by tanks and especially anti-aircraft guns.
With the current update 1.81, the combat helicopters are finally playable. However, you must either put in some effort or pay money.
How to gain access to the helicopter beta
The helicopters are currently being tested in a closed beta until October 19, 2018. You can only try them out if you have access.
How do I get into the helicopter beta? There are two ways to get into the helicopter beta:
Purchase a bundle with a helicopter and goodies for 39.99. There is one for the American UH-1C-XM 30 or the Russian Mi-24D.
Complete 10 daily tasks in the game to obtain tester status for free.
What helicopters are available? Initially, there will be about a dozen helicopters from the USA and the USSR in the beta. These include the Bell UH-1 Huey, a symbol of the Vietnam War, as well as three other variants of the Bell AH-1 Cobra, the first mass-produced dedicated combat helicopter.
The Soviet Union will receive the multipurpose helicopter Mi-4AV as well as several variants of the famous “flying tank” Mi-24 “Crocodile” (NATO reporting name “Hind”) and its modern version Mi-35M.
What do you get in the beta? If you test the helicopters in the beta, you can earn “Tester Stars” for goodies:
A Tester Star is awarded for 5 victories if you control a USA or USSR vehicle of ranks V-VI in random battles with an activity of at least 60%.
You will receive a unique “Valkyrie” badge for 12 Tester Stars.
The daily tasks for “Tester Stars” are updated daily at 1:00 PM CEST.
You can earn only one “Tester Star” per day.
You must win a battle while controlling a vehicle of rank V or VI from the tech tree of the USA or USSR to guarantee the “Tester Star”. You should control one of these vehicles at the end of the battle.
The story of WoW: Battle for Azeroth is well received by players. But one crucial aspect is missing: the actual war. The patch 8.1 is supposed to deliver that.
For about a month now, World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth has been live, and even the more casual players have reached the maximum level of 120. In addition to much praise for the stories and the beauty of the individual areas, there are also criticisms. Some players miss the main point of the expansion: the war.
Most criticism seems to stem from the fact that the exciting cinematics (Siege of Undercity and the Saurfang cinematic) have little to do with the actual expansion. While the addon starts with the battle for Undercity, thereafter there is little mention of the war.
Starting content is practically without war
Instead, the expansion revolves around the following, as Reddit user deadcloudx puts it:

Some comments suggest that all of this is just the beginning to push the war between Horde and Alliance forward. There will surely be more content in upcoming patches that reflect more direct war actions.
The war campaign also receives criticism: Many players felt that the war campaign was too short. It felt like a series of disjointed attacks on enemy outposts. Although there was a rough storyline, it did not feel like actions that could decide a real war.
Players are particularly annoyed that the war campaigns play “past each other” and that the Horde’s actions have no impact on the Alliance and vice versa.
Here too, it seems that Patch 8.1 will offer redemption from the horizon. The war campaign will continue and presumably this story will lead to the siege of Zuldazar.
It seems that Patch 8.1 will quell many of the community’s concerns and fulfill wishes. One can only hope that the update can also deliver what it promises and finally bring the “war” to Warcraft.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will expand its PC version with Update 22 to include a ranking system. Players can rise or fall in ranks and are expected to encounter more opponents of their own skill level.
The next update for PUBG will enhance the PC version of the battle royale shooter with some new features and improvements. Patch 22 will introduce, among other things, a rank system, a custom map selection, and a skin exchange system. The update is already on the test servers and is expected to be released in October.
In PUBG, you will soon be able to fight for the best ranks
What is the rank system? PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will receive a rank system with Update 22, where players are classified based on their individual performance. To be sorted into the appropriate tier, ten placement matches will be played in advance, similar to Overwatch.
There will be eight ranks where players can rise or fall based on their total points. These include classifications in Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Elite, Master, and Grandmaster.

What additional features will the update bring? Patch 22 is expected to bring more features and improvements, in addition to bug fixes:
Server/region will be automatically determined based on the player’s local region. If two players from different regions team up, matchmaking will automatically decide the best region to play in.
Improvement of the leaderboard. Players can now view their progress and receive clearer information about KDA, rank, and average damage.
The custom map selection allows for individual maps to be selected or the quick connect option, which assigns the first available match.
A skin exchange system where multiple items of the same tier can be exchanged for one item of the next higher tier.
A quick access for healing items, throwable items, and emotes.
What does the community think? Players joke that with the upcoming rank system, they can finally play only with equally bad players.
Others point out that they thought they were already matched with players of similar skill levels through matchmaking. The rank system would merely visualize this. Some even go so far as to call it just a cosmetic change.
Many players on the PUBG subreddit, however, are looking forward to the upcoming changes. They hope that the automatic selection of servers and regions will resolve some problems with matchmaking.

The legendary weapon Rand-Transit drops so incredibly frequently that it has become a running gag in the community of Destiny 2. However, behind the funny meme lies actual dissatisfaction.
What is Rand-Transit? Rand-Transit is one of the five legendary grenade launchers that were implemented with the Forsaken DLC in Destiny 2. Just a few days after the launch of the DLC, many guardians noticed that Rand-Transit has a very high drop rate and is significantly more common than other weapons in the power slot.
Especially rocket launchers seem to be very rare according to reports since Forsaken, and since the nerf of the drop rate of exotic engrams it can be quite hard to get various heavy weapons.
The community reacts with humor: After several large threads on Reddit were opened on the topic, players started to make jokes about the drop rate. The Kotaku author Jason Schreier lists in his top 5 best weapons in Destiny 2 exclusively Rand-Transits.
But on Reddit and in the Bungie forums, some funny gameplay suggestions for Rand-Transit have also come together:
To create an emote where the guardian pulls one Rand-Transit after another out of their pocket and throws them in a pile
A special “Rand-Transit-Launcher” weapon that has Rand-Transit grenade launchers as ammunition
New unlockable Rand-Transit subclass for the guardians, for which you need Seed of Light
Proposal that you have to defeat the final boss of the new raid using only Rand-Transits to unlock the ultimate secret of Forsaken
Various petitions for sparrows and spaceships shaped like Rand-Transit.
Change the reload animation of Rand-Transit: After the magazine is empty, the guardian should simply throw the weapon away and pull a new one out of their pocket, like Reaper in Overwatch
The players are taking the exaggeratedly high drop rate with humor, anyway.
Problem behind the funny meme
Does Forsaken have too few new weapons and armor? However, behind the funny situation lies a more serious problem of Destiny 2: Forsaken. The amount of weapons and armor that has been added with the last DLC is relatively low upon closer inspection. This issue is balanced out well by the random perk rolls, but in cases like Rand-Transit, it still seeps through.
One of the reasons for this is the fact that a large part of the gear from the first year of Destiny 2 is practically useless because it does not have the random perks from Forsaken. This topic has also been thoroughly discussed in the official forums and on Reddit.
And until the guardians are delivered more new gear in the future, we will all still see a lot of Rand-Transits.
