In Destiny 2 Forsaken will soon launch a “Refer-a-Friend” program. Veterans can embark on an exclusive quest with rookie Guardians, featuring multiple rewards.
Here’s what the Refer-a-Friend program is about: Starting next week, Bungie will launch an online “Referral Program” aimed at providing an extra incentive for veteran Guardians to promote Destiny 2 Forsaken to their friends who don’t own Forsaken yet.
Bungie also wants to attract new Guardians to Forsaken.
Both the recommending Guardian and the new Guardian who acquires Forsaken must enter into a pact on Bungie.net and can then play a Refer-a-Friend quest line that rewards both parties.
All Info on Refer-a-Friend in Destiny 2 Forsaken
Start date for Refer-a-Friend: As of October 30, 2018, the Refer-a-Friend program will be available alongside the Update 2.0.5.
Requirements for veteran Guardians: A veteran Guardian is defined as a player who owns Destiny 2: Forsaken. Veterans can invite new players to the Refer-a-Friend initiative.
Requirements for new players:
A new player is anyone who does not own Destiny 2: Forsaken or has owned it for less than 7 days.
If a player has owned Destiny 2: Forsaken for more than 7 days, they can no longer participate as a new player in the referral program.
Exception: Players who purchased Forsaken between October 16 and 30 will be considered new players and can be referred until November 7, 2018.
How much time do you have for the exclusive quest? According to Bungie, the quest can be completed at any time once you have qualified for it in a timely manner.
The rewards from the referral quest
Here’s how to claim the rewards: After each quest step of the referral quest, both Guardians – the veteran and the new player – will receive rewards. The quest is primarily about veterans introducing the newcomers to Destiny 2 Forsaken and helping them experience what it feels like to be a Guardian.

Refer-a-Friend is starting too late according to fans
Here’s what the first Guardians say: On Reddit, several Guardians have already shared their opinions on this program. The top comment states that the time frame in which a player is considered “new” is much too short.
Many people managed to get their friends to purchase Forsaken within the first two weeks after its launch. The fact that this program is only starting nearly two months after launch is now too late.
Now, most players have already made their final decisions on whether to buy Forsaken or not. The rewards from this program cannot change opinions anymore.
This means that many Guardians are disappointed that they will probably not have a chance to obtain the rewards, even though they already recommended Forsaken to many friends – but just too early.

A movie based on Monster Hunter World is currently in the works. For the first time, photos from the set have surfaced, which are more frightening than exciting for the community.
It has been known for some time that a film based on the popular Monster Hunter franchise is in development. With a budget of 60 million it has been in production for almost two years.
The cast features well-known names such as Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil) and T.I. Harris (Antman, Antman and the Wasp) and Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Sons of Anarchy). Now, the first photos from the set have emerged. However, fans’ reactions have been mostly negative.
Photos from the set show a lot of military, but hardly any Monster Hunter
What is seen in the photos? The first image shows actor Diego Boneta in military attire and armed, amongst some rocks in a desert-like terrain. His character is named Sergeant Marshall.
The next photo shows several actors including Jovovich, Harris, and Boneta with director Paul W.S. Anderson.
Again, there is nothing that seems related to Monster Hunter, only actors in military uniforms in a desert setting.
What does this have to do with Monster Hunter? The plot of the movie foresees that the leader of a military unit (Artemis, played by Jovovich) gets caught in a portal during a mission that brings her into the world of Monster Hunter.
There, she encounters hunters with whom she must prevent monsters from invading our world. The plot has been known for some time and fans fear a flop.
At least one photo with Jovovich shows a single item related to Monster Hunter.

Fans continue to fear the worst
The photos confirm fans in their worst fears. At first glance, they could just as easily be from any typical action film.
The reactions to Bonega’s Instagram photo show just how pessimistic the fans are. Also in the subreddit for Monster Hunter, the mood is tense.
Why fans are concerned:
So far, aside from the slingshot in the Jovovich image, no references to Monster Hunter have been recognizable
Fans fear that the film will simply be about soldiers shooting monsters with machine guns
The quality of the costumes is also criticized. The slingshot seems cheap to many, cosplayers could do better

Together with the new Field Research in November in Pokémon GO, players get the chance to catch the new Pokémon Ninjatom and a new Shiny.
The new Field Research concerning Ninjatom will be available starting November 1 at 9 PM.
Bug Pokémon: The new Field Research revolves around the “Bug” type. In addition to the Bug Pokémon Ninjatom, players will have the opportunity to obtain other Bug Pokémon from Field Research.
Shiny Raupy: Another highlight will be a new Shiny family. For the first time, Raupy and its evolutions will be available in their shiny form.
Ninjatom in November – And Nincada?
Ninjatom is a Pokémon from Generation 3. It is one of the few Pokémon from this generation that has not yet been released.
Two Evolutions: Ninjatom evolves from the Pokémon Nincada. Nincada can evolve into Ninjatom and into Ninjask.
In the console games, Nincada could only evolve into Ninjatom if the player had a maximum of five Pokémon in the party and carried a Poké Ball. Nincada didn’t actually evolve; instead, Ninjatom came from the shell of Ninjask. How the evolution works in Pokémon GO is not yet known.
Pre-evolution from Field Research? There is speculation in the community that Ninjatom will not be the only new Pokémon in November. It’s possible that players can obtain its pre-evolution Nincada from regular Field Research. This could then evolve into Ninjask. However, this is not confirmed.
Further Field Research concerning Bugs: Along with the research about Ninjatom, surely more Bug Pokémon will be available through quests.
Also Shiny Pinsir? Raupy might not be the only new Shiny in November. Niantic announced a Safari Zone in Taiwan some time ago, where the Bug Pokémon Pinsir is supposed to play a major role. It would make sense for trainers around the world to have the opportunity for a shiny Pinsir. Field Research could make this easier.

You can register directly via the search tool and find groups that have openings. For mythic keystones, you can set many options:

The problem concerns the community: One issue for many WoW community members is that they cannot find groups to tackle Mythic+ dungeons or raids. Especially players without a guild often have difficulties joining a group.
Many players get declined through the in-game search tool because their “raider.io score” or their progress on wowprogress is not high enough. The WoWGroupFinder is supposed to eliminate this problem.
The goal is for players to find each other specifically and to play together without special requirements, thus securing better loot from keystone dungeons.
These groups have already achieved success.
The tool is still in development: The WoWGroupFinder works cross-server and integrates the community of many streamers. Even JohnnyCDerp, who already participated for MeinMMO in our Battle for Azeroth event, is joining in.
At the moment, the tool is still growing, and most groups are started by the participating streamers. If you want to join a group in a livestream, you will probably find most groups during the online times. However, you can also offer your own keystones and then set off with a group.
You come into contact with people who tend to care less about numbers and more about the player. This allows you to form groups with which you can achieve consistent and lasting success. The right preparation is of course still important.

In Fortnite: Battle Royale, a female-only e-sports team is set to compete soon. A top organization in e-sports, Gen.G, has invested a lot of money and effort into the team of female gamers.
What is Gen.G? Gen.G stands for “Generation Gaming” and is a large e-sports organization from South Korea. Gen.G teams are active and successful in several games, including League of Legends, Heroes of the Storm, and Overwatch.

What’s the deal with the Gen.G team in Fortnite? Gen.G aims to establish a strong presence in Fortnite and has therefore founded its own team for Epic’s battle royale shooter.
The special feature: The Fortnite team will consist only of women. The two rising US pro gamers, Tina “Tinaraes” Perez and Madison “Maddiesuun” Mann, are leading the way. Tinaraes has already made a name for herself in the Fall Skirmish tournament and placed 4th in Week 3.

Tinaraes has a win rate of 13.3 percent in 8,407 matches and a kill-death ratio of 4.31. With her 31,458 kills, she is among the top 0.1 percent of players.

Developer Bioware has revealed new gameplay of Anthem in a live stream. This included a first impression of the Super Attacks.
What was shown? In the video, we get a glimpse of normal gameplay from the Alpha of Anthem. A side mission is shown where the goal is to locate a specific person.

The Fortnite Nerf blaster: If you prefer something more tangible, grab the first official NERF blaster in Fortnite style. It is a bright yellow replica of the legendary SCAR weapon from the game. This assault rifle is still extremely popular and reliable.
The NERF version is likely to be just as impressive, as it is a fully automatic weapon with an electric motor. You can fire the standard magazine of 10 foam darts at record speed.

The upcoming update Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance continues the story of World of Warcraft. It includes a reunion with an elf we last met in the War of Thorns. The ruthless killer blood elf Lorash is on the loose again.

Who is Lorash? Horde players may remember Lorash from the “War of Thorns,” the pre-event for Battle for Azeroth. Together with the player, he initiated the attack on Astranaar and secretly killed the sentinels and their leader. He is also responsible for the deaths of civilians, whom he cold-bloodedly slaughtered – including defenseless sleepers.
How does Lorash return? With Patch 8.1, Lorash has a new model. His skin is pale gray, and his eyes glow an orange hue. He has apparently been resurrected by Sylvanas and is now one of her Forsaken.
What role will he play? It is still unclear how Lorash will appear. Only his character model has been extracted from the game data so far. This reunion may involve a quest that will be unlocked only late.

Speed Glitch grants high speed boost and leaves opponents desperate

What does this speed glitch do? Normally, this perk gives you a small speed boost while crouching or crawling. But through the glitch, this effect can be stacked and allows the player to zip across the map while crouching.
The movements are so quick that opponents in the multiplayer have little time to react. They are completely helpless. Hitting the attacker is practically impossible.
Since the discovery, there have been some players who are deliberately using the glitch to gain an advantage. This apparently works on all platforms and is very easy to reproduce.
What is the difference between a glitch and a hack? A glitch uses the mechanics built into the game by the developers in a way that does not align with the intended purpose of the feature. The results are usually trivial, but can sometimes lead to huge advantages like exploits. A hack manipulates game files and is thus an external interference.

It wasn’t even close: In one video, players “6blackhawk6” and “CoachMK21” defeat Giratina effortlessly and win. They even have about 50 seconds left.
Why so easy? There are several reasons why Giratina is so easy to defeat. For one, friendship plays a significant role. If you have a high friendship level with your teammate, you get a bonus in battle that makes your attackers stronger. The higher the friendship level, the higher the bonus.
Weather bonus: In this case, both players had a weather bonus. In windy weather, dragon-type attackers and Giratina itself are strengthened. The Pokémon are defeated faster, yet they also deal more damage.
Simple types: Giratina possesses the ghost and dragon types. The dragon type is particularly easy to counter and has many strong and effective Pokémon against it.
Even without weather bonus: Another video shows that Giratina can even be defeated in pairs without a weather bonus. When a Pokémon benefits from the weather bonus, its attacks are strengthened. This means it deals more damage. If your Pokémon do not benefit from any bonus, they deal less damage, making Giratina harder to defeat.
But this is also achievable with Giratina. Another video provides the proof.

Tip to save time: There is another trick to save a few seconds. You need to create another battle team, into which you don’t add any Pokémon. Let the time run out while leaving the empty battle team selected.
Then the raid begins, but you are still in the lobby. Then select your battle team and go into the fight. Now you won’t see the start animation, and you can fight directly. If you are quick, you can save several seconds with this method.

Download of the Companion App for Android and iOS
First, you need to download the official Companion App for Red Dead Redemption 2 from your mobile store.
How big is the app? The app is about 210 MB for iOS devices.
Link RDR 2 with Social Club
You can link the companion app with your Social Club account.
Connect Social Club with Red Dead Redemption 2: In the game, open the pause menu and select the second-to-last option “Social Club”. Then press the hotkey to “Join Social Club”. On Xbox, this is the Y button. You can either create a new account there or log in with your existing login credentials.
Activate Social Club on Companion App: Select the cowboy symbol in the top right corner of the main menu. Then click on Sign In and enter your email address and password for your Social Club account. Your account will then be linked with the app.
How to connect the Companion App with Red Dead Redemption 2? If you have linked the app and the game with the same Social Club account, click in the app on “Connect” when selecting profiles (cowboy symbol). The app should now be directly connected to the game.
As confirmation, you will also receive a message in the upper right corner of the screen in RDR 2 when the services are linked.
The Features of the RDR 2 Companion App
In the overview of the map, you will find eight different features that you can use when the app and the game are connected.
Map
How does the map help? With this feature, you get an insight into the map of Red Dead Redemption 2. You will see Arthur’s health and stamina displayed in the bottom left corner along with Arthur’s horse.
You will see interesting spots on the map marked with symbols. For example, merchants will be shown to you, just like the positions of Arthur and his horse. A button on the location symbol above the clipboard centers the camera over the player position.
Setting a marker: To set a marker on the map, you need to tap the screen twice. A red marker symbol will appear. You will then also find it on the map in the game. On the minimap and on the large map.
Removing a marker: If you want to remove a marker that has been set, just tap it again twice.
Setting a waypoint: To set a waypoint, hold your finger on a spot on the map. After about a second, the waypoint will be set.
Difference between waypoint and marker: A waypoint shows you a route to reach the set point. A marker only sets this.
Removing a waypoint: Hold the waypoint for one second with your finger to remove it.
Journal
How does the journal help? In the journal, you will find records from Arthur. These can be drawings of landscapes or buildings. Or they are texts that Arthur has written.
This way, you will find important information about places and people you encounter in the game.
This is what an entry looks like: Early on, you will find an entry in the journal with a drawing of a girl and text accompanying it.

If you open this feature, you will see something like a newspaper in front of you. It also opens in the device’s browser.
What is shown in the newspaper? You will find offers for weapons that you can order directly there. There are also advertisements for food like peaches, carrots, and rolls.
You can also purchase clothing like hats or boots there.

If you select the point Guide, you can purchase the official guidebook there. If you want, you can grab the book for a one-time fee of 10.99€.

Players criticize the prices: The prices of the ships in Teach’s Ship Shop are quite high.
The Cutlass ship costs about 1.5 million aUEC (in-game currency in the Alpha).
The starter ship Aurora costs 200,000 aUEC.
