With Patch 8.1, there is a new vendor in World of Warcraft. He sells the highest quality Azerite armor that the game has to offer.
For many weeks, players of World of Warcraft have complained about the Azerite system. It is too difficult to obtain suitable items for head, shoulders, and chest. There is far too much randomness in the game, when it comes to the weekly reward chest for “Mythic+” dungeons. Blizzard agrees. With Patch 8.1, there is a new vendor who sells Azerite armor.
The Astral returns – with top Azerite armor!
What does the vendor sell? The new vendor Thaumaturg Vashreen has a whole range of items available, including:
Chests for dungeon Azerite armor at item levels 355, 370, and 385, sorted by armor slot (head, chest, shoulder). The higher the quality of the chest, the more expensive it is.
Specific dungeon Azerite armor at item level 385, as a long-term goal for “top players”.
This is how to obtain the new currency: To buy the Azerite items, one needs a new currency that currently has no name. It can be earned from the “Mythic+” chest, which is awarded on Wednesdays for dungeons completed in the previous week. The harder the dungeon, the more currency is earned (“Mythic+10” gives more currency than “Mythic+2”).
How much currency is needed? Blizzard has not yet determined how much of the currency is needed to buy Azerite armor. However, the plan is that players should be able to purchase an item roughly every 2-3 weeks that corresponds to their reward from “Mythic+” dungeons.
Farming is not worth it yet: There is still no reason to stockpile Azerite items for Patch 8.1. Only Azerite armor that players receive after the launch of Patch 8.1 can drop the new currency when dismantled. So you do not need to hoard old armor.
Vendor remains up to date: It is also important that vendor Vashreen will be updated regularly. When a new “Mythic+” season begins, the vendor’s inventory will be upgraded to stay reasonably current.
Fans express satisfaction: The initial feedback from players is overwhelmingly positive. They praise Blizzard for finally responding to player feedback and creating a way to work towards a specific reward.
What do you think of the idea of the new vendor? Is it a good thing? Or will good Azerite armor become too easily accessible? Could the vendor change your opinion on Battle for Azeroth?

What’s behind it: This announcement is in line with the acquisition of CCP by Pearl Abyss, the developers of Black Desert. They recently purchased the studio CCP after making a fortune in Asia with the mobile version of Black Desert.
That’s why they are making a new game: EVE Echoes is likely to be something like Arena of Valor for LoL. Not quite a clone, but very close. The alternative would have been to bring EVE Online to iOS and Android. The veterans would have had a huge advantage.
With “EVE Echoes” the possibility arises for everyone to start anew.
In addition to EVE Echoes, CCP has also introduced a shooter for PC: Project Nova.
Since the 4th generation has been introduced in Pokémon GO, the values of Sinnoh Pokémon are also known. We show you the best Pokémon from the 4th Gen.
In the 4th generation, there are 107 new Pokémon waiting for you. Not all of them are equally good or bad. Therefore, we will show you which Pokémon are particularly useful and what you can use them for.
How are the values determined? Most of the mentioned Pokémon are not yet available in the game. So far, only 26 Pokémon of the 4th generation are available. Nevertheless, the values of all Pokémon from the 4th generation are already known. These can be easily calculated with a formula and provide an overview of the usability of the Pokémon.
The values used come from the Gamepress website. They have already published all the new values and attacks of the Pokémon from the 4th generation. We then compared these values with the values of the current Pokémon.
Rameidon
Type: Rock
Max CP: 3298
What makes Rameidon special: Rameidon excels with its enormous attack value. It has a score of 295, almost as high as Mewtwo’s (300 points).
Does Rameidon have special attacks? So far, among the Rock-type Pokémon, Tyranitar was the leading Pokémon when it mastered the Community Day move Catapult and Rock Slide. Rameidon also masters Catapult, which gives it an advantage. Unlike Tyranitar, it cannot learn the attack Rock Slide but can only learn Rock Blast. If Rameidon could learn another Rock charge attack, it would definitely be better than Tyranitar. However, it is currently on the same level as Tyranitar.
Rihornior
Type: Rock/Ground
Max CP: 3733
What makes Rihornior special: Rihornior has the highest HP value of all Rock-type Pokémon. It also has the highest CP of all Pokémon of this type. Its attack value is lower than Tyranitar’s. So Tyranitar remains the better Rock-type attacker.
Does Rihornior have special attacks? Just like Rameidon, Rihornior can also learn the attack Catapult. Additionally, it can learn Rock Slide. These attacks make Rihornior one of the best Rock attackers. If its attack value were a bit higher, it could also surpass Tyranitar.
Elevoltek
Type: Electric
Max CP: 3079
What makes Elevoltek special: Level up your Electabuzz! With its evolution, the new best Electric attacker enters the game. Elevoltek has a higher attack value than Raikou and outperforms the legendary Pokémon as the best attacker of its type.
Does Elevoltek have special attacks? Elevoltek can learn the attack Shock Wave, just like Raikou. It is the best Electric-type attack and helps Elevoltek become the best Electric attacker.
Magnezone
Type: Electric/Steel
Max CP: 3205
What makes Magnezone special: With Magnezone, another solid Electric attacker enters Pokémon GO. Although its attack value does not reach that of Raikou or Elevoltek, it is still not bad and ranks among the top attackers.
Does Magnezone have special attacks? Just like Elevoltek, Magnezone can learn Shock Wave. This makes this Pokémon very interesting. Because this attack is so good, Magnezone ranks third among Electric attackers, ahead of Zapdos.
Roserade
Type: Grass/Poison
Max CP: 2971
What makes Roserade special: Collect Roselia candy diligently. The evolution of the Grass Pokémon will be a weapon! It has the highest attack value of all Grass Pokémon and can cause a lot of trouble. However, Roserade’s downside is obvious. Looking at its other stats, it quickly becomes clear that Roserade has a poor defense. Similar to Gengar, Roserade deals an incredible amount of damage but also takes a lot of hits.
Does Roserade have special attacks? Roserade can learn Razor Leaf and Solar Beam. These are among the best attacks of the Grass type.
What makes Tangoloss special: The evolution of Tangela will also play a major role in Pokémon GO. Its stats are solid and comparable to those of Venusaur. However, compared to Venusaur, Tangoloss can achieve significantly higher CP.
Does Tangoloss have special attacks? Another advantage of Tangoloss is its attacks Vine Whip and Solar Beam. While it may not be the best Grass attacker, it can compete in the league of the best.
Yanmega
Type: Bug/Flying
Max CP: 2946
What makes Yanmega special: After Pinsir and Scizor, Yanmega finally brings a new and solid Bug attacker to the game. Its CP is better than those of Pinsir and Scizor. Its attack value is comparable to those of both.
Does Yanmega have special attacks? No, the attacks are comparable to those of Pinsir and Scizor. But the rare type is special. The Bug type has always been a good choice against Psychic Pokémon. In raids against Mewtwo or Deoxys, this type has always been useful. Also in the 4th generation, there are many new Psychic raid bosses, making Yanmega potentially useful.
Togekiss
Type: Fairy/Flying
Max CP: 3332
What makes Togekiss special: Togekiss is a Fairy-type, a type that previously had no good Pokémon. So far, there is no Fairy fast attack, which is why this type has hardly been usable. This could change with Togekiss. Its attack value is high, and its other stats make Togekiss a solid defender as well.
Does Togekiss have special attacks? So far, Togekiss cannot learn any Fairy-type fast attack either. Many players speculate that this attack might be implemented later. If that happens, Togekiss will become even more interesting.
Galagladi
Type: Psychic/Fighting
Max CP: 3093
What makes Galagladi special: Galagladi has two interesting types. If you fight with the Pokémon against a Heiteira that knows Zen Headbutt, then Galagladi is not hit very effectively. Unlike Machamp. Thus, Galagladi can be used as a good attacker against the classic gym defenders.
Does Galagladi have special attacks? Galagladi can learn two Fighting-type attacks, making it quite useful as a fighting attacker. Although it cannot learn the best fighting moveset (Counter and Dynamic Punch), it benefits from its unique types.
Mamutel
Type: Ice/Ground
Max CP: 3329
What makes Mamutel special: Mamutel is one of three new and strong Ice Pokémon. Among all Ice Pokémon, it is the best. It has the highest attack value of all Ice Pokémon and also has the best HP value. So it deals the most damage, but also tanks the most.
Does Mamutel have special attacks? Mamutel can also learn the move Avalanche. This is the best Ice move in the game, showcasing its strength further.
What makes Snibunna special: Snibunna excels primarily with its high attack value. While there are better alternatives for Ice and Dark types, anyone looking for a solid Pokémon for both types will find Snibunna to be a good choice.
Does Snibunna have special attacks? Snibunna has solid Ice attacks. However, this does not make it particularly special. It’s the types that generally do not produce many good attackers. So there is only Mamutel for Ice type, which is better, and only Tyranitar for Dark type as a better alternative.
Knakrack
Type: Dragon/Ground
Max CP: 3962
What makes Knakrack special: Yes, another strong new Dragon Pokémon! Knakrack is likely to be the strongest non-legendary Pokémon in the game. It has extremely high damage output and is also a strong Ground attacker alongside the Dragon type.
Does Knakrack have special attacks? Knakrack particularly excels in attack diversity. Its Dragon and Ground attacks are strong and useful.
Keep in mind that the values of these Pokémon may still change before their release. In this article, we refer to the currently known values of the Sinnoh Pokémon.
Even now, some weapons from the first year of Destiny 2 are still quite strong and do not shy away from comparison with the Forsaken arsenal.
Greater weapon variety through Random Rolls: The weapons in the second year of Destiny 2 are all about the returned Random Rolls and the revamped slot system. This results in numerous strong weapon variations that can easily overshadow most year-1 weapons. Because the majority of year-1 weapons are still tied to their fixed perks. Also, some new cool weapon exotics have been added with Forsaken.
Not all Fixed Rolls have become obsolete: However, some specimens from the first year have not lost any of their original dominance. They still represent some of the best choices for their respective weapon slots. We have selected four of the best sidearms from year 1 that are still worthwhile in Forsaken and that every Guardian should acquire when possible.

IKELOS_SF_v1.0.1
What is the IKELOS_SF_v1.0.1? This is a legendary shotgun for the energy slot in a striking Warmind design. It was introduced with DLC II Warmind.
What makes this shotgun so good?
For many players, the IKELOS_SF_v1.0.1 is still considered the best shotgun in the game even after the release of Forsaken and despite its fixed perks – especially in PvE. It is capable of pulverizing almost all bosses and elite enemies, provided you get within shotgun range. An absolute must for almost any PvE endgame activity.
The weapon shoots quickly and has a large magazine, but what truly sets it apart is the unique perk “Rifled Barrel.” This causes the weapon to gain increased damage as well as enhanced precision and handling for a short time after a melee hit – all while having a greater damage drop-off. However, this is quite negligible at appropriate distances from the enemy.
How do you get the IKELOS_SF_v1.0.1?
This shotgun can only be obtained through the Escalation Protocol on Mars. The weapon can drop from the final boss at the end of the seventh and final wave of this activity.
However, the weapon pool rotates weekly with the respective bosses. Each of the three IKELOS weapons is linked to one of the 5 specific bosses – including the shotgun. The other two bosses can drop any example of these exclusive weapons.
When you have a chance to get this shotgun will always be announced on Tuesdays in our Weekly Reset article.
MeinMMO was in Iceland with CCP to take a look at a new game from the EVE Online developers: Project Nova. Lead Game Designer Kevin Clarke answered some questions in an interview.
MeinMMO: How will Project Nova and EVE Online work together. Will online players create items for Nova players, or will Nova players sell their items to EVE Online players? Is anything planned?
Kevin: We have a lot of things planned and nothing concrete yet. Right now, we want to focus on the core FPS experience for Nova and ensure that it is a solid foundation to build upon. Ultimately, we want it to be more than just a formative link to EVE Online.
We want there to be a real link, a gameplay connection where actions in one game can affect the other and vice versa. All these things are definitely possible. We mentioned the idea of sending mercenaries from Nova to loot a destroyed ship in EVE to acquire those materials and modules, and maybe they could even craft these items.
These are all things that are currently on the table; nothing is absolutely decided. The ultimate goal is to connect the two games, but right now our main focus is on ensuring that we create a very strong, solid foundation that we can build upon.
MeinMMO: Speaking of which and since it’s pretty big at the moment: Is a battle royale mode planned?
Kevin: Our community has mentioned this repeatedly, and we absolutely have no plans for a battle royale mode.
I mean, I think, as I said, we have many ideas for game modes in the future, but battle royale is, in my opinion, just already saturated.
I don’t think… I think if we had anything that resembles a battle royale mode, it would be an EVE-style battle royale and something completely different than what people are used to.
Nova could be big – and an eSports title
MeinMMO: I’m glad to hear that. What about eSports?
Kevin: eSports is also one of the things we are discussing. However, it is a topic for the future. One of the reasons we are making this game is because we can actually work with our community, based on Dust 514. We still have some very loyal and passionate players who are already behind us, talking with us, and we are developing Nova with the help of our community, relying on their feedback and working with it.
If they really advocate for it, then there’s no reason why we can’t actually delve into eSports. I mean, we already have many ideas about how that could work, and it’s just a question: Is there a demand for it?
MeinMMO: Regarding the game itself, will the fights be map-based or ship-based, in smaller sections, or larger scales, like on planets or even in the open world?
Kevin: Initially, as you saw in the presentation, our first battles take place on the surface of ships, but we are already looking at our next map set, and we want to ensure that we have diversity in place.
We want to utilize more of the EVE structures that players might not interact with much in EVE Online, and things like fighting on planets are definitely something we are considering. Or, as mentioned, really fighting in space stations themselves. That’s another direction we could potentially go.
We don’t want to limit the combat to the surfaces of ships, but right now it’s about getting the foundation right, ensuring that people engage, and then we are really trying to expand this EVE experience, finding new environments and more interesting and unique places where people can actually fight.
A game for everyone
MeinMMO: What about the technical requirements for Nova?
Kevin: We have not finalized the specifications yet, but we want to offer this game to as many people as possible. That’s why we are trying to ensure that it looks fantastic on high-end machines.
But we also want it to be playable on many low-end machines, so there are no set specifications yet as it is still something we are working on. However, we will try to make it accessible to as many different players as possible.
MeinMMO: Okay, sounds good! What about the class system? Will there be more? What about class development?
Kevin: Oh yes! I mean, what we have tried to do is keep the barrier for each of the ultimately four players very low by offering them these dropsuits that are essentially fully equipped.
Everything you need is there:
you have cool dropsuits,
you have the weapons,
you have the gear that comes with them,
you have the ability to build towers on the surface of the ships, so that every player can easily get involved.
He finds his dropsuit class that suits his playstyle, has the right weapon, the right gear.
Players can play this game from day one and be really happy with it. However, what we also want is to provide an experience for those players who are looking for a deeper experience. They will have the opportunity to upgrade dropsuits, swap gear, maybe change the weapon and the additions on their weapons, and basically immerse themselves and create their ideal dropsuit.
We also want to add things like crafting, and crafting and trading. But all these things should be what we consider “opt-in complexity.” If you’re just a casual gamer who wants to play a good and solid first-person shooter, everything is there. You can easily play from day one.
If you’re one of those players who appreciates the complexity of “min-maxing” or crafting your own materials, or takes pride in making something and selling it to other players to use, we also want to offer you those options. I mean, those options are still a long way off. First of all, we want to ensure that this core experience is solid and good before we start developing further.
Nova will be complex but coherent
MeinMMO: Since EVE Online is already pretty massive: Are there plans to have RTS, PVE, and PVP components in Nova? Will they all be found together in one game, or how will you bring it all together?
Kevin: That’s a very good question. I mean, right now we will only focus on the 2 game modes: PvE, which you will play later on, and then PvP. We will keep these modes very separate from now on.
But we have many ideas on how to develop with different game modes and even integrate a PVE and PVP experience together. These are all ideas on our path; they are all on our roadmap, and these are all things we are discussing.
But right now we will only focus on this one PVE experience and this one PVP experience and then build on that.
MeinMMO: Will the two modes have separate developments for the player?
Kevin: Uh, no, at the moment the progression system is a simple unlock system. There will be things you have to do in PvP to progress and things you have to do in PvE.
We don’t want it to feel too much like these are two entirely separate modes and not linked in any way. You will be able to progress by playing both.
MeinMMO: Thank you for the interview.
Not enough yet? You can find the first part of our interview here and CCP reveals who should play the shooter:
The social media pages of Ascent: Infinite Realm have been updated with new information. The recently released screenshots show a new type of missions that players will undertake in Ascent. Crew missions are really big quests in the MMORPG A:IR.
What is Ascent: Infinite Realm? A:IR is an MMORPG set in a steampunk environment. In the world of Ascent, the inhabitants are searching for new living space and must defend themselves against dangers with their technologies and magic.
Airships play a major role, as massive air battles are firmly embedded in the gameplay.
Airships are extremely important in Ascent: Infinite Realm.
Developed by Kakao Games and Bluehole, the studio behind the battle royale shooter PUBG.
What’s new? The released screenshots show the crew mission “The Sunsetville Outskirts Defence,” in which a large number of players can participate simultaneously.
The mass air battle is a defense mission during which players must defend the settlement of Sunsetville against a rush of enemies.
The boss fight in the Sunsetville Outskirts is not exactly easy.
Each player gets an airship for the mission, equipped with a powerful machine gun. Players are supposed to defend the border region of Sunsetville against monsters and other enemies.
The final boss of the mission then appears on one of the many small islands in the area. The boss itself is fought on the ground. Unfortunately, the practical machine guns cannot be used in that battle.
You reach the Sunsetville Outskirts with an airship.
Is it coming west? While the first beta tests for Ascent: Infinite Realm were held in Korea as early as 2018, there has been a long silence in the west. Bluehole has announced that there will be no beta in Europe in 2018 and has also asked players not to sneak onto the Korean test servers.
The developers have also not yet commented on the business model of the game. However, a western release is certain, and it is likely only a matter of time before a beta is announced for western players.
These classes you will be able to play in Ascent: Infinite Realm:
Players of Final Fantasy XIV create in the character creator of Soul Calibur 6 the director of FFXIV Naoki Yoshida. They let him compete against other developers and characters from his own MMORPG.
What does FFXIV have to do with Soul Calibur 6? The latest game from the popular beat ’em up series Soul Calibur features a detailed character creator that allows players to make their own fighters and let them compete against other creations. Some fans of FFXIV have used this feature to recreate various characters from the MMORPG – even the director of FFXIV Naoki Yoshida.
The Japanese Twitter user @CisnaBalandor had the director compete against other MMORPG developers, such as the head of Phantasy Star Online 2 Satoshi Sakai. In this, Yoshida comes out on the losing end.
He also loses against the popular NPC from Final Fantasy XIV Haurchefant Greystone.
However, against the recreated Warrior of Light, who in FFXIV represents the players, Naoki Yoshida wins by a large margin.
In Monster Hunter: World there was also a Yoshida: It’s not the first time that fans have taken the fun of recreating the developers of FFXIV in another game. At the release of Monster Hunter: World there were also various screenshots of Yoshida, as well as the composer of FFXIV Masayoshi Soken and the Head of Community Toshio “Foxclon” Murouchi.
The director Yoshida also has an interesting opinion about MMORPGs:
Bethesda recently introduced characters from Fallout 76. But wait, there are no human NPCs? Right, because they are already dead. In various factions, they fought for their survival and failed.
The absence of human NPCs is one of the biggest criticisms of Fallout 76. Recently, however, Bethesda revealed some human characters and factions, which caused confusion among some players.
Shortly afterward, it was confirmed that these are merely backstories for characters and factions. This includes the Brotherhood of Steel and the Raiders. Two entirely new factions were also introduced, the Preppers and the Responders.
Stories from West Virginia
These characters and factions were shared by Bethesda via Twitter and are briefly described there.
What role do these characters play? The characters narrate the story of certain factions that emerged during the fallout – long before Vault 76 opened. The images show
the Brotherhood of Steel and how they came to West Virginia,
who led the Raiders in this region,
a group of “Preppers” who prepared for a potential apocalypse even before the war,
and the Responders, made up of former police officers, firefighters, doctors, and other helpers.
Only remnants of these people can still be found; they did not survive the decades between the fallout and the opening of Vault 76.
Story without human NPCs? Since Fallout 76 forgoes human characters, factions, and parties, the story like a real Fallout is told through tape recordings, notes, and terminals.
It will be an essential part of the game to experience the tragic stories throughout the game world. Where have the people gone? What happened to them? These questions will often be central. This also applies to the presented characters.
These NPCs have been introduced by Bethesda so far
Currently, four former NPC factions are known:
The Brotherhood of Steel
This was founded in November 2077 by Captain Roger Maxson in California. Using a still-functioning satellite, the Brotherhood managed to extend its influence to other regions in the USA, including West Virginia.
Who is the Brotherhood of Steel? This group is somewhat like a modern knight order, consisting mostly of descendants of military personnel. Accordingly, they possess technology and weapons.
Over time, it has split into three isolated groups in California, Chicago, and Washington D.C.
Rose, the leader of the Raiders
Raiders are looters who exploit chaos for their gain. They can be found all over the USA and have been among the fiercest opponents in every Fallout game. In West Virginia, Rose was their leader.
Their hideout is located at “Top of the World”, a former ski resort on a mountain peak.
The Doomsday Preppers
This group of survivors prepared for a potential end of the world years in advance. They gathered resources, built their own bunkers, and organized themselves as “Free States”, which likely traded with each other.
For a while, they survived this way, waiting in their bunkers, until they disappeared.
The Responders
This group consisted of former police officers, firefighters, medical personnel, and other public service workers. They attempted to respond to the catastrophe and help the people.
It’s likely that Bethesda will introduce even more in the coming days.
What do you think of the way Bethesda is handling the story of Fallout 76?
The Elder Scrolls Online (PC, PS4, Xbox One) Murkmire is just around the corner and lets you take a look at Argonian culture. We have summarized everything important about the new DLC for you and explain what is interesting about the new DLC.

The main story of Murkmire takes you through the new area and lets you track down an ancient artifact.
Travel with your friends to the Black Rose Prison and face the Blackguard living there to rescue an Argonian. The new arena is designed for groups of four players and rewards you with new weapon sets, among other things.
Players can earn the Murkmire DLC for free
Price: Like Clockwork City last year, Murkmire will likely cost 2000 crowns. ESO Plus members receive the DLC for free for the duration of their membership.

The special feature: In November, the DLC will be available for free as a login reward. Players can earn the DLC. To do this, players need to log in for 24 days in November and claim the reward.
Update 20 is free for everyone, brings changes to the game
Cyrodiil will be destructible: As part of Murkmire, Update 20 will be applied. The update is free for all players and contains some changes and improvements to The Elder Scrolls Online.
Some highlights from Update 20:
In Cyrodiil, bridges and border walls are destructible with Update 20. Destroyed bridges can significantly slow down or completely prevent the advance of an enemy army, as the waters in Cyrodiil are dangerous and full of bloodthirsty fish.
New outposts will be added. This will allow battles to be fought in areas that have been less contested.
The order of characters in the character screen can be changed. Players have been wanting this for a long time.
Players can select multiple housing items at once, move them simultaneously, and revert recent changes with the push of a button.
Music boxes allow you to play selected pieces from Tamriel on your own grounds.
Murkmire has been in development for many years
Players have been waiting a long time for Murkmire: As early as 2014, before the overhaul to “One Tamriel”, players could get a first glimpse of Murkmire. At Quakecon 2014, players were shown moving images for the first time. The released concept art depicted huge stone pyramids and many Argonians looking into the distance.
Murkmire then disappeared for a few years. For a long time, fans of The Elder Scrolls Online wondered in what form Murkmire would appear. In 2018, it is finally time, and players can immerse themselves extensively in Argonian culture and delve into the ancient Argonian pyramids.

In Fortnite, the coveted Spinnenritter and Arachne skins are finally available in the shop today, October 21st. In addition, a new Halloween event called Fortnitemares is likely starting soon.
Here’s what’s in the shop today: Finally, the two coveted skins “Spinnenritter” and “Arachne” are in the Fortnite shop today, October 21st. They had already been discovered by data miners last Tuesday and players have been waiting since then for their arrival in the Fortnite shop.
Fashionistas and skin enthusiasts can purchase the two new skins for V-Bucks. The premium currency V-Bucks can be earned for free in Fortnite or can be bought with real money.
Here’s what the new skins cost in Fortnite and what they look like:
The skin “Arachne” costs 2000 V-Bucks.
The glider “Flugweber” is priced at 1200 V-Bucks.
The skin “Spinnenritter” also costs 2000 V-Bucks.
Additionally, there’s a harvesting tool “Netzfetzer” for 800 V-Bucks.
New event announced: Along with the new skins, Epic hints at a new event through an in-game message. Under the hashtag #Fortnitemares, there will be a masquerade.
For the announcement, they post a kind of cowboy zombie.
It is suspected that this could indicate a new duo mode because a accompanying poem mentions partners that you cannot trust. It can be assumed that there will be more skins for the new event.
How exactly the Halloween event will unfold is still completely open. Strange things are currently happening in Fortnite, but that seems to be the new norm:
Our author Jürgen was finally able to try out the battle royale mode Blackout from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The zombies came in very handy for him.
My first time in Blackout: I must admit that I only got into competitive shooters relatively late. Only battle royale games like PUBG and Fortnite made me a fan of PvP shooters with their exciting gameplay.
Quickly on the ground … It soon became clear to me how fast and dynamic Blackout is. I noticed this right away because I was on the ground much faster with my wingsuit than with the comparatively long glides in PUBG and Fortnite.
I liked that quite a bit because I hate not being able to do anything in games. With the quick game entry, Treyarch had already pleasantly surprised me.
… and quickly dead! However, Blackout was also quick in other aspects. Just as I was still celebrating my first weapon, an enemy rushed around the corner and took me out. I didn’t even know what had hit me, and before I knew it, I was back in the lobby.
The thousand deaths of Jürgen S: This continued for a while. The fast gameplay and the unfamiliar weapons caused many deaths and no kills. No matter what I did, there was always someone better.
Moreover, even when I shot at enemies, I often didn’t do much, while the enemies did. It might have been due to the hit bug, which I learned about the next day. Or I was simply (still) too bad.
Joy and frustration: Nevertheless, I still enjoyed Blackout. I still didn’t get any kills and was always taken out in the first fight, but I landed a bit further away and first got familiar with the basics.
That paid off; I hit a bit more often and was no longer quite so helpless, even though kills were still lacking.
But then my new friends, the zombies, came into play!
I just want zombies!
Where are the zombies? I had heard about the smelly undead and that they supposedly guard particularly hefty weapons. So I wanted to land in the zombie area Asylum.
It’s unfortunate that there were always other eager zombie hunters there who took me out before I could see the coveted undead.
Then not! So I gave up my plans for zombie fun again and landed somewhere else in the next round. At first, I didn’t encounter any enemies and found a lonely diner by the roadside. Perhaps there was good loot there?
Instead, horror awaited me at the diner! No sooner had I entered the diner than I heard horrible moaning. Are there zombies in the house? Shortly afterwards, disgusting, rotten figures suddenly appeared, and another player stormed in, shooting wildly.
One of the undead fell in a fountain of blood and rotting flesh, another zombie bit into the player.
Whoa, a zombie!
Hysterical and heavily armed: I must admit that I panicked a little and also shot wildly around me. I must have had a particularly good weapon with me because the firearm neatly cut through everything in front of me with a hail of bullets.
Oops, there was still someone: In the end, the zombie was dead, but the player also lay slain in his blood. I got my first kill, and that almost without intention! But unfortunately, I didn’t dare to loot his remains in peace, as horrible moaning already announced the next wave of undead.
The punishment follows closely! So I immediately fled and was promptly taken out by another player at the door. Karma is really nasty in Blackout!
Nevertheless, I was proud and happy. I had achieved my first kill!
This cannot continue!
How does it continue? My first “success” surely did not come about fairly. And before you diss me now for being a cowardly zombie kill stealer, I solemnly vow to make use of the upcoming double XP weekend to improve my Blackout skills.
The next time without zombie assist: It would be a laugh if I could only get my kills with helpful zombies. But as a first success, the “zombie assist” felt good nonetheless.
The smelly undead will probably always have a special place in my heart in Blackout. You never forget your first time.
Bless Online will launch as Free2Play, and one may wonder why the game has lost more than 30,000 players since the release of its Early Access version in May. We shed light on the development of Bless.
The MMO release Bless Online has faced constant criticism from players since its Early Access release. But why?
Bless Online’s long development history: Bless Online has been in development since 2009 and has faced many challenges during this time. Why did players in the West have to wait so long for Bless Online?
In mid-2009, work began on the MMO that would later become known as Bless Online. Almost 5 years later, in 2014, the first Closed Beta started in Korea.
Further beta tests followed in Korea until 2016 when it was announced that the publisher Aeria Games would distribute Bless Online in the West. Bless also managed to find a foothold in Russia. A publisher announced plans to operate Russian Bless Online servers there.
Neowiz takes matters into its own hands: However, Neowiz decided to bring Bless Online to the West on their own. The development studio wanted to self-publish Bless Online. For the release, Neowiz turned to the distribution platform Steam.
To prepare Bless for the release in the West, the development team began polishing it to create a better experience.
Fans receive first information: In the months leading up to the Early Access launch of the game, more and more details about the planned changes became known:
Neowiz spoke openly about the new combat system that was planned for the Western release of the game. Fans were largely convinced by the initial gameplay materials.
At release, Bless Online was supposed to support multiple languages. Players could look forward to an English synchronization and translations in English and German.
Bless Online should definitely not be pay-to-win. Neowiz vehemently opposed any form of paid advantages before the release. Content from the in-game shop should not heavily influence the game. The fans remained skeptical.
Neowiz struggles with influencers: Neowiz had not yet announced an exact release date. Fans only knew that the MMO was scheduled to launch in May 2018. Therefore, they pinned their hopes on a press event in San Francisco.
Various influencers were invited to this event, who had previously applied as ambassadors through the representatives program. The representatives were supposed to act as the voice of the community and funnel criticism to Neowiz. At the event, the ambassadors were the first to have the opportunity to try out the revamped Bless.
Neowiz opted not to set up an official stream for the event. Instead, the invited influencers were to stream the event on Twitch. Interested players were thus reliant on the invited influencers. Streaming issues arose frequently, with the internet connection often becoming overloaded.
€200 premium customer service: During the event, Neowiz announced the release date and the prices of the various versions of Bless. As is common with an MMO, players could purchase a founder’s version. While the base version was priced at $30, the most expensive founder’s package should cost $200. Part of the founder’s package was a premium customer service.
During the presentation of the special customer service, an employee presented the premium customer service as the service where “we actually read your tickets.”
This caused so much outrage among players that Neowiz backtracked, removed the premium customer service, and reduced the price of the $200 founder’s package to $149.
Interest in the MMORPG is high
Hungry market awaits: At release, the Western MMORPG market provided the best conditions for Bless:
In 2014, the last major MMORPGs were launched with The Elder Scrolls Online and WildStar.
Afterwards, only Black Desert was released in 2016.
The MMORPG market was starving and Bless found ideal ground for its launch. For the foreseeable future, Bless would be the only classic AAA MMORPG to appear in the West.
This led to extremely high interest in the game and also high sales on launch day.
Bless Online launches – no consensus among fans
Poor performance: Players who purchased a founder’s package were able to look into the game two days before the official release of the MMO. However, during these two days, many players could not log in to play. The servers were heavily overloaded. There was a bug that caused players to get stuck on the first loading screen.
For some players, the game’s performance was unacceptable. Even on very powerful machines, there were no stable FPS. These players requested a refund through Steam, receiving their money back.
Another group of players viewed the situation more moderately. They stated that no MMO release had gone smoothly thus far. They believed that the issues would disappear in the future.
Bless plagued by release problems: After the head start ended and all players could play Bless Online, the release week of the MMORPG began. However, only a few days after the launch of Bless, new problems began to emerge.
First players reached level 45 and noticed that there was no real endgame content. Many of these players had previously played on the Japanese or Russian servers. Neowiz had brought the vanilla version of the MMO to the West. These long-time fans were disappointed.
A dupe exploit caused problems. Players duplicated items and were able to craft powerful equipment. Players demanded a server reset. Neowiz decided against it.
The class balancing of the MMO was absent. Mages and paladins were far too strong in PvP and could dominate the other classes. All classes dealt too much damage to monsters, allowing players to sprint through the content.
Action combat is praised: Yet despite the problems, there was also positive feedback from fans. Especially at release, the combat system received praise from fans. While it was only limited action combat, the reduced number of skills and chaining of abilities led to rhythmic battles.
Additionally, many fans appreciated how Neowiz handled criticism. During the release period, the development team seemed to be constantly busy. New updates were pushed out every few hours that resolved issues. The team responded quickly to players’ problems and promised new endgame content in the future.
Several patches improved class balance; however, the damage had already been done, and many players withdrew from Bless Online in frustration. To make the game more accessible, some fans began developing a German fan translation for the game, but the project ultimately fell flat.
Players did not stay with Bless Online
Declining player numbers: It is normal for player numbers to decline after the release of an MMO. Some players reach the endgame of the game and have nothing else to do. What is important is that a stable core remains loyal to the game.
But this core was slow to establish itself in Bless. The player numbers of the MMO dropped daily, until they settled at the current level of around 700 (as of October 15, 2018), according to the website SteamDB.
At the beginning of July, around 7000 players were still visiting the MMO daily. Even back then, fans were calling for Neowiz to merge servers to do something about the declining player numbers.
However, the server merger came too late and could not persuade the remaining players to continue playing Bless Online.
Bless Unleashed is announced
Spiritual successor? At Gamescom 2018, Neowiz announced a new MMO. The title: Bless Unleashed.
Bless Unleashed is set to use Unreal Engine 4 and offer an action-packed combat system. The MMO is planned for release on Xbox One and will use assets from Bless Online.
Among Bless Online players, the announcement caused displeasure. There were suspicions that Neowiz only used Bless to finance the development of Bless Unleashed. Neowiz denied this, stating that both games would be developed by completely independent development teams.
The future of Bless: It’s hard to say how Bless Online will develop after its transition to the Free-To-Play model. Bless publisher Neowiz believes that Bless Online can succeed. The players will return to the MMO.
The game is intended to be operated for as long as possible. Through updates, Bless aims to transition to a good product with which they hope to convince former and future players. How many players will check out Bless Online when it’s free remains to be seen.
With the release of Bless Online, the long-awaited German localization of the game is coming. In an interview with Mein MMO, the developers also talked about the PvP focus of the game and its PvE content.
What do the Bless players think? Some Bless players are worried about the MMO. Although Bless Unleashed is set to release in 2019 only for Xbox One, it represents a version that many Bless players would have liked to play on Steam. From their perspective, Bless Unleashed competes with Bless Online.
Other players praise Neowiz for the publisher’s perseverance. The publisher has continued to work on Bless Online over the last few months and has fixed errors.
Starting October 24, you can see for yourself what Bless Online has to offer. Anyone who hesitated at launch can take a look at the MMO without much risk.

At the World Championships of League of Legends, the LoL Worlds 2018, a sensation occurred in the quarterfinals: only one team from Asia remains. Europe and the USA suddenly dominate the Asians and advance to the semifinals. The eSports in League of Legends is turned upside down.
This is what happened in the quarterfinals: We have already reported that the two big favorites from Asia were eliminated on the first day of the quarterfinals. RNG and KT Rolster were eliminated yesterday.
This morning, the favorite elimination continued in South Korea:
with the Afreeca Freecs, the last hope for Korea was eliminated. Cloud 9 defeated them dominantly 3:0.
the second team from China was eliminated with Edward Gaming. Fnatic from Europe is indeed making it to the semifinals.

These teams are in the LoL Worlds Semifinal 2018: Thus, two European teams (G2 and Fnatic), as well as Cloud 9 (USA) will compete in the semifinals. From Asia, only Invictus Gaming (China) is still in it.
On October 27, G2 eSports will play against Invictus Gaming
The amazing thing is how dominant Cloud 9 appeared. They hardly gave Afreeca a chance and completely overran them.
Thus, for the first time in 7 years, a team from North America has reached the semifinals of the LoL Worlds. The last time this happened was in 2011 with TSM, practically in the early days of LoL.

Better team fights secure Fnatic the victory
This is how Fnatic advanced: Fnatic was in a somewhat different role than Cloud 9. They were lightly favored against the Chinese team “Edward Gaming.” However, there was a tough blow right from the first match.

With aggressive play, Edward Gaming quickly secured the 1st match.
However, from Game 2 onwards, the tide turned. Led by Martin “Rekkles” Larsson, Fnatic consistently had the edge in team fights and managed to exploit the mistakes of Edward Gaming to ultimately win, even though the Chinese team always had a gold lead.

Thus all Korean teams are eliminated before it really starts.
The Korean gaming site Inven has summarized reactions from fans on the defeat of KT Rolster against Invictus Gaming (China). The usually dominating South Koreans in League of Legends are quite shocked at how KT Rolster performed in the LoL Worlds 2018.
One person says: “In a tiger’s den left by the tiger, foxes play a game of who is the best. When they left the den, they were devoured by lions alive.”
Many seem to miss the SKT team with Faker from earlier: “Sigh, if SKT would play, even in the worst form, they would at least make it to the finals.”
This was yesterday after the defeat of KT Rolster. At that time, South Korean fans feared that the Chinese would be dominant at the Worlds 2018. The Koreans did not yet know that the Europeans would play such a strong role.

Betting offices misjudged the favorites of the LoL Worlds 2018
Who will win now? The betting offices (via Nicerodds) have now highly favored the Chinese team Invictus Gaming to win the LoL Worlds 2018. Following them are Fnatic and G2 Esports with outsider chances. Cloud 9 is far behind.
But at these Worlds, the betting offices have been so wrong so far that anything seems possible.

As clever data miners have now discovered, the Guardians will return to the Destiny 2 Cosmodrome – and probably very soon.
Destiny veterans will remember well – the journey of their Guardians began once in the Cosmodrome – a spaceport in Old Russia. As the analysis of data from the recent Update 2.0.4 now suggests, the Guardians will likely return one last time to the place where their path to legend began.
Attention – Possible story spoilers follow!
The mysterious festival quest seems to lead back to Old Russia
A mysterious quest awaits the Guardians: The Festival of the Lost is currently in full swing. But as Bungie has already announced, a special quest awaits the Guardians at the end of these festivities. Starting October 30, the focus will be on solving a mysterious murder case surrounding the former Reef Cryptarch Master Ives.
This is why fans believe it will go back to the Cosmodrome: Recently, data miners stumbled upon new audio files that were added to the game with Update 2.0.4, which also brought the Festival of the Lost into the game. The audio files contain voice lines from Amanda Holiday, the main point of contact for the Halloween event.
And what can be heard there clearly speaks for a return of the Guardians to the Cosmodrome. For example, she says – obviously to your Guardian: “This is where your Ghost found you, right?”. Later she continues: “This could be the last time you set foot in the Cosmodrome.”
This riddle surrounding the murder case is probably the last thing that is not yet known about the festival – no further secrets have been announced. Since the audio files came into the game along with the festival data and originate directly from the festival point of contact, the Guardians are convinced that they belong to the festival quest that awaits the fans at the end.
What could await the Guardians in Old Russia? So far, not much is really known. Bungie did say that the second year would not bring new planets for Destiny 2. However, there could be closed location bubbles that could take place in already known locations. And neither the Cosmodrome nor Old Russia inherently embody a new planet or location.
Whether Bungie will actually bring back the entire Cosmodrome or even the Plaguelands of Old Russia just for a seasonal event remains doubtful. A location bubble in which the hunt for the Cryptarch murderer takes place is therefore the more likely option.
What could be the reward? Here too, the hints increasingly point to a popular weapon from Destiny 1. The exotic machine gun Thunderlord could be the reward for solving the murder case. The Cosmodrome would also serve perfectly as a location – because that is exactly where the weapon was first introduced to the public.
An April Fools’ joke from over 12 years ago has become a reality in World of Warcraft. But hardly anyone finds it funny anymore.
Blizzard has been known for years to play some jokes with the community on April 1st, “April Fools’ Day.” Usually, a few silly features for games are announced that are far from reality. Often, there are also “fake patch notes” for World of Warcraft to troll the players a bit. However, after twelve years, one of these jokes has now been taken seriously.
What was it about? In the “Fake Patch Notes 2006,” there was an entry under “User Interface” that read:
“A global cooldown has been added to all abilities and spells.”
Back then, it was funny because it was unthinkable that even more abilities could be affected by the global cooldown.
With Patch 8.0, however, this has largely been implemented. Aside from various interrupt mechanics (like Kick or Counterspell), almost all abilities are affected by the global cooldown. Blizzard stated that this made using abilities feel more like a decision and that players wouldn’t just link 4-5 skills in a macro.
The connection was only noticed late: It took a few months for someone on Reddit to find the connection between the ancient fake patch notes and the current state of World of Warcraft. However, it was immediately recognized – there have been nearly 13,000 upvotes so far.
What is the global cooldown? After activating a spell or ability, there is a short pause during which no other ability can be used. Therefore, players cannot use multiple instant casts or abilities in succession but must wait for this cooldown. Since it affects almost all abilities, it is called the “Global Cooldown” (GCD).
The community reacts sarcastically: In line with the current rather negative sentiment in the WoW subreddit, the community reacted with sarcastic comments.
“Is there really any more evidence needed that the game has become its own joke?”
“Next, we’ll have it that the global cooldown is affected by the global cooldown.”
“Sometimes I think that Blizzard uses the old April Fools’ jokes as a guide. Pandaren made it into the game after all.”
Some players, however, take it with a positive sense of humor. It is said:
“Hey, at least we can assume that we will still get the Bard class!“
Why are players complaining? The changes to the global cooldown of many abilities have been hotly debated for months. The loud part of the player base is complaining because it has made WoW slower and less exciting. Everything now feels “clunky” and inappropriate.
How do you feel about the changes to the global cooldown? Do you even notice them, and do they bother you? Or have they already become second nature?

A player compared the server performance of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on the PS4 after the recent update with the beta. And it seems that the servers are now worse than during the testing phase.
Recently, user Smcro presented his test results on server performance on Reddit. And they are quite explosive. Apparently, the tick rate of the multiplayer servers of Black Ops 4 has been reduced compared to the beta – at least on the PS4. Many fans are now outraged.
PS4 servers of Black Ops 4 now have lower send rate
What happened? During the multiplayer beta, tests showed that the servers of Black Ops 4 ran with a send rate of 60Hz. However, according to Smcro’s recent investigations, the send rate of the multiplayer servers on the PS4 is now at 20 Hz after the last update 1.03. In Blackout, these values on average vary between 20Hz and 40Hz.
By the way: Even though Smcro’s results only relate to the PS4 servers, the tick rate has apparently also been reduced to 20Hz on the Xbox One and PC.
What does this mean for players? The send rate is the rate at which a server sends updates to the clients – in this case, to the PS4, Xbox One, or PC.
Simply explained: Instead of receiving new information from the server at every frame (assuming the game runs at 60 FPS), the new information for the clients is now provided every third frame. At 20Hz, 50ms elapse between each sent update, while at 60Hz it is approximately 16.7ms.
In short: Since there is now, on average, three times as much time between the updates sent by the server, there are now more inconsistencies. Bullets in shooters fly quickly, and such a delay is often noticeable – among other things, in hit feedback.
That’s why many players are now outraged
This post by Smcro has already gathered over 5,800 upvotes on Reddit and has been commented on more than 700 times. In the comments, many players express their displeasure.
Deceived by the beta: For many, the strong performance of the beta was an important selling point for the final product. Many players emphasize that during the beta, nearly every kill and death felt justifiable and comprehensible in terms of hit feedback. That has changed – now we finally know why.
There are even early voices suggesting misleading advertising or even fraud given the stark performance difference between the beta and the current version of Black Ops 4. Especially in light of the sales records of Black Ops 4, these alleged cost-saving measures concerning the servers are bitter for the fans.
20Hz no longer up to date in shooters: Moreover, players criticize that a tick rate of 20Hz is absolutely unacceptable for a modern shooter. 60Hz is already standard and also the absolute minimum.
For example, CS:GO already has numerous servers with a send rate of 120Hz – especially in the competitive area. The difference between 60Hz and 120Hz is only 7ms, yet even this difference is noticeable at this level. The nearly 34ms between 20Hz and 60Hz is something one does not even want to talk about.
This is what the developers say: So far, Treyarch has not directly commented on this acute case. However, at EGX 2018 in Berlin, Studio Design Director David Vonderhaar already addressed this issue – specifically regarding the battle royale mode Blackout.
When he was asked about the tick rate in Blackout for the release version of Black Ops 4, Vonderhaar stated that the tick rate there would be 20. 60 is a number, but if you send 60 ticks with nothing, it has no effect – even if people like higher numbers.
The rate would be 20 because that encompasses the entire world in Blackout. That distinguishes the network model of Black Ops 4 from other games. It doesn’t matter what number is there when what is sent is not relevant. The status of the entire world of Blackout is sent with 20. Everyone receives the same information.
At 8:20 you can watch Vonderhaar’s statement in this video:

Almost half of our readers are dissatisfied with WoW: Battle for Azeroth. Our readership is divided – this was the result of our survey.
A few days ago, we launched a survey on the current satisfaction level with World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth. We wanted to know what you think of the current expansion, whether you enjoy the current content, or if you have already turned your back on WoW. You participated eagerly in the survey. Now it’s time to evaluate the results – because the numbers are quite mixed.
50 / 50 – A clear division among WoW players
Only 9% of our readers are completely satisfied with the current World of Warcraft. They have no complaints and feel comfortable in Battle for Azeroth.
37% of the voters are having a lot of fun in Kul Tiras and Zandalar, but they find some little things that bother them.
With around 26%, just over one in four is only having a little fun in Battle for Azeroth. They are annoyed by the current mechanics and content but endure them bravely. For now.
About one-fifth (21%) have already turned their back on World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth. Their subscription was canceled after only two months of the expansion, and without new content and adjustments, it will not be easy to win these players back.
Only about 7% of our voting readers have not even looked at Battle for Azeroth – the latest expansion did not convince them to purchase.
In summary, it can be said that the players, at least on Mein-MMO.de, are divided into two camps. Half are satisfied with World of Warcraft, while the other half wants extensive improvements to have more fun in the game or to return at all.
This also matches our experience in the comment sections. There is usually a colorful mix of “Everything is good, I am having fun” and “WoW is worse than ever before.” The perception within the player base is different.
Interestingly, opinions have shifted significantly since the release. Shortly after launch, we already had a survey, and back then more than 50% of players said they liked Battle for Azeroth “very much.” At that time, only 6% stated that they did not like the current expansion “at all.”
Did you expect this outcome? Does it match the experience in your personal environment? Or does it not fit at all with the reality you experience every day in WoW?

Blizzard is trying to temper the expectations of Diablo fans. But what is Blizzard announcing at BlizzCon 2018, if it’s not Diablo 4? Our author Schuhmann presents possible scenarios.
This is how Blizzard fueled the rumors: In the run-up to BlizzCon 2018, Blizzard ignited speculation around a Diablo 4. It doesn’t take much for that; Diablo is one of the biggest game brands in the world and has been dormant for years. A spark is enough to heat up the speculation.
For many fans, it was clear: Diablo 4 or something else big is coming to the fair.
This is how Blizzard cooled down the rumors: Then came the cold shower. Blizzard made it clear that they are indeed working on what everyone hopes for, but it will probably take a while.
The news was interpreted as: There will probably be no Diablo 4 at the fair.
What else could Blizzard announce? However, Blizzard will announce something. This is also evident from the news. The question is just, what exactly?
Furthermore, rumors have been circulating for months that Blizzard is planning a “remastered version” of the classic Diablo 2 – maybe we can expect that at BlizzCon
There’s an outsider chance of an expansion for Diablo 3 – maybe something small and compact like the “Necromancer” DLC
Perhaps Blizzard will bundle these “smaller things” together and present them to the fans.
The big solution:
But do you really need the most important slot of BlizzCon for that? It is conceivable that a different, “proper” game with the Diablo IP could actually be announced:
Maybe a mobile game – in every financial report from Activision, it states that Blizzard is developing new mobile titles, eventually they need to be presented
In either case, it would make sense to limit fans’ expectations now. Because if fans are waiting for a Diablo 4 and get something completely different served, they would be disappointed and the “new” game would not be in good standing.
Despite the cold hellfire shower from Blizzard, much still seems possible. On November 2, we will finally learn more.

Billionaire Elon Musk has launched a Twitter crusade against Fortnite. He wants to buy and delete it to protect children from eternal virginity. Even though he is challenged by professionals like Myth, he remains victorious.

Elon Musk commented on this satire article with a “It had to be done. You’re welcome.”
Musk thus took ownership of the satirical article and presented it as if it were real news and he had done it.
Elon Musk (47) is an entrepreneur and investor with a huge reach on social media. His tweet received over 617,000 “likes” and over 211,000 retweets. The action was really big on Twitter.
Content Creator: Pokimane
How Fortnite pros react: Various well-known Fortnite streamers reacted to this tweet and joined in on the fun:
OpTic Hitch wrote that he will now buy a Tesla.
The streamer Pokemane commented: “Savage,” as in brutal. As recognition of a successful attack.
This is what it’s about: Elon Musk relies on publicity for his projects. Therefore, he actively participates on Twitter. For him, it is an important marketing tool. When discussions in the world get big enough, Musk likes to use Twitter to get involved in the conversation.
For instance, he suggested getting involved in rescuing the boys trapped in a cave in Thailand in July 2018 with a mini-submarine.
Recently, Musk’s tweeting has brought him some trouble. After misleading tweets, he had to give up his CEO position on Tesla’s board and pay a fine of millions. He was accused of manipulating his company’s stock price with tweets.
Musk announced he would take Tesla private and pay $420 per share. This led to fluctuations in the stock price. Musk later backtracked, saying Tesla would remain public. Musk stated he made a joke – 420 is a drug slang term for marijuana (via Zeit.de).
Apparently Fortnite is now big enough for Musk to make his mark here.
The quarter-finals of the Worlds 2018 in League of Legends mark the end of the two favorites. Both the Koreans from KT Rolster and the Chinese from Royal Never Give Up are heading home. They were the two top favorites for the crown of League of Legends.
These were the favorites to win the tournament: Before the Worlds in League of Legends started, the bookmakers identified two favorites to win the tournament:
Royal Never Give Up with star player Uzi – the team hails from China
and KT Rolster from South Korea
Both spectacularly exited in the quarter-finals today. Previously, the South Korean top team Gen G. had also fallen in the group stage. They had won the Worlds in 2017 as Samsung Galaxy.
Famous teams like SKT 1 with Faker or Team Solo Mid did not even qualify for the Worlds 2018 in League of Legends.
This is how KT Rolster was eliminated: The Koreans played against the Chinese team Invictus Gaming and had a classic false start. They quickly fell behind 0:2 but managed to draw level at 2-2.
A final 5th game had to bring the decision.

In game 5, G2’s mid laner, Perkz, turned it on and dominated RNG with LeBlanc. He achieved stats of 11/0/4 (via matchhistory.lol.na). He had 11 kills, no deaths, and 4 kill participations.
The Korean gaming site Inven quoted Perkz later saying, “We had nothing to lose – and RNG could lose everything.” RNG had by then won almost everything there was to win this year.
The victory of G2 in the series is already being considered the greatest upset victory in the 8 years of LoL Worlds. You can see how Korean casters practically freak out over the victory.
