Why do I need XP? In Battlefield 2042, you need to gather experience points (“XP”) to level up. With higher levels, you unlock more weapons and gadgets that you can use in matches.

The range LMG MG82 is right on the edge of barely controllable and “No, thanks.” If you want to try your hand at this unforgiving beast, be prepared to fight not only against your opponent but also against your weapon.
However, the MG82 rewards your courage with a high fire rate, plenty of ammunition, and substantial damage. At range, your enemies will be on the ground within 516 milliseconds, and with the large magazines, you can theoretically eliminate 10 enemies in a row.
When you engage in a firefight, the open-bolt delay of nearly 70 milliseconds is added to the time-to-kill if you start firing at the same time.

The mid-season update of Season 4 brought this close-quarters beauty into the game, which was impressive from the start. Currently, the OTs 9 is the most popular submachine gun on “wzranked” and impresses with high damage, good control, and rapid mobility.
However, this brutal killer is very vulnerable at a distance. If your opponent is more than 10 meters away, that’s it for top damage, and the time-to-kill increases from 561 to 702 milliseconds.

The two most popular assault rifles on “wzranked” are the AK-47 from Cold War and the EM2. However, the EM2 far outpaces the AK-47 in terms of K/D – the AK only reaches 1.02.
What they have in common is controllable recoil with a slow fire rate. If a bullet goes astray, your time-to-kill and the chance of going down increase significantly.
What differentiates the EM2 from the AK is their damage distribution. While the AK hits hard at short range and offers a time-to-kill of 600 milliseconds, the EM2 takes it easier with 675 milliseconds. However, the AK enters the damage range at about 40 meters and then sits at 700 milliseconds, while the EM2 maintains its value with chest hits.
