Players can play the shooter’s multiplayer mode as well as the zombie mode for free during this period. This also includes the new maps of the game and the Halloween event “The Haunting.” Fans can immerse themselves in the zombie worlds fitting for Halloween or duel as usual in multiplayer.

Because you ask AI so many stupid questions, data centers are now buying turbines from airplanes to provide enough energy
To operate their massive AI data centers, tech giants are now relying on old aircraft engines. While they provide power quickly, they also create new environmental and supply issues.
Why is the AI industry turning to aircraft engines? The demand for power for AI data centers has skyrocketed in recent years. However, many of these new “hyperscale” centers often wait years for a regular grid connection. That’s why companies like OpenAI and xAI are now opting for a rather unusual solution: decommissioned aircraft engines converted into mobile power plants.
These so-called aeroderivative gas turbines originally come from aviation, but have long been a staple of mobile power supply – for instance, on offshore platforms or in military technology. They provide rapid, modular, and relatively independent energy.
A GE LM6000 turbine can deliver 50 megawatts in under ten minutes (via Gevernova). ProEnergy even offers complete systems on trailers that can be operational in less than 30 days (via TomsHardware).
How significant is the rush for these turbines? Demand has reached historic proportions. According to Bloomberg and Siemens Energy, over 60% of all gas turbine orders in the USA are directly linked to AI data centers.
Manufacturers like GEVernova and Siemens Energy report delivery times extending to 2028 or even 2030 – many companies are now paying millions just to secure production slots (via TomsHardware).
OpenAI’s partner, Crusoe Energy, recently ordered 29 LM2500XPRESS turbines to provide one gigawatt of power for the “Stargate” project – a kind of mobile jet-driven power plant in West Texas (via Tom’s Hardware). Even Elon Musk’s xAI is relying on methane turbines for its new supercomputer – which has already led to initial environmental conflicts (via Tom’s Hardware).
Stopgap Solution with Significant Environmental Consequences
What issues does the use of turbines bring? The short-term solution comes at a high cost – environmentally and infrastructurally. Even if modern turbines are equipped with catalysts, they emit CO₂, nitrogen oxides, and other pollutants.
In Tennessee, residents have already protested against xAI’s methane turbines – some facilities are reportedly operating without full permits (via SELC & Politico & Times).
What happens next? The forced increase in turbine orders demonstrates how overwhelmed the existing infrastructure is with the AI boom.
The usage behavior of AI-based everyday applications like ChatGPT has become an integral part of the digital lives of many. The current JIM Study (Youth, Information, Media) shows that 62% of youths use AI applications like ChatGPT – most frequently in the context of school/homework (65%), for fun (52%), or when searching for information (43%).
AI usage is also omnipresent in companies. According to the market research institute bitkom Research, for the first time, more than half (57%) of companies are dealing with AI. One in five companies (20%) is already using AI. A year ago, it was only 15%.

To achieve a hidden success in WoW Legion Remix, you have to grind really hard
One of the most challenging achievements in World of Warcraft requires hardcore grinding in a short time.
Meanwhile, there are many thousands of achievements in World of Warcraft, and with the “Legion Remix” mode, quite a few have been added. However, not all of them are obvious. For an achievement, you must reach the absolute limit and gather the maximum power that is possible in Legion Remix.
What is this achievement? The achievement “Finally in Infinity” (“Putting the Finite in Infinite”) is actually a feat of strength – like all achievements in WoW Legion Remix. That means there are no achievement points for the completion. However, there is no other reward associated with this feat. It is a purely prestige achievement that is forever immortalized in your account.
To unlock the feat of strength, one of two conditions must be met:
- Reach the maximum with the artifact weapon, so 999 points in the last talent “Limits Unbound”.
- Successfully complete a mythic keystone dungeon of level 49 or higher.
Both conditions are quite tough and will likely take a lot of time.
How long does it take? Those who want to farm the achievement should prepare for a significant time investment. Just a few days ago, the first players reached the limit of 999 – but they reportedly spent several days playing over 12 hours a day in dungeons that they completed in record time of just a few minutes.
One must be very focused and repeat rather monotonous gameplay content over a long period to reach the maximum particularly quickly.
If you have more time, just casually visit a few raids every day and only collect a few levels per day. If you can keep that up every day, you’ll eventually reach your goal.
What is the easiest solution? If you’re not keen on the long grind, you’re probably better off hoping for a few over-motivated friends. Because instead of maximizing at level 999 on the artifact weapon, it might be significantly faster to just complete a dungeon at level “49”. However, you do need a well-prepared team, but typically, 3 very good characters can easily “carry” 2 others.
Will it get any easier? Yes. If you’re not in a hurry, you don’t have to rush through the feat of strength. Because in the upcoming phases of Legion Remix, there will be even more Eternal Knowledge, which in turn increases the acquisition of Eternal Power.
Since there will also be more raids available and Blizzard has even announced catch-up mechanics, the achievement should be significantly easier to achieve in the coming months than it is now. By Christmas at the latest, you should be able to achieve the success with less effort, if you value that.
After Christmas, it’s likely already time for Midnight, as the release date has apparently been leaked.

Anime MMORPG Blue Protocol: Star Resonance finally brings challenging dungeons, but players say: Their teammates ruin the fun
In the anime MMORPG Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, the new Master Dungeons have recently been released. However, they are so tough that the teammates become a problem.
What are these dungeons? In the anime MMORPG Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, new content is consistently unlocked through a time-gating system. Recently, alongside the first raid, the Master difficulty level for the dungeons was introduced.
This difficulty level upgrades the existing 6 dungeons to a new level, adding new areas, minibosses, events, and altered boss mechanics. Players are challenged not only by the increased strength of the opponents but also by wipe mechanics.
The reward is the new level 60 equipment, which replaces the level 40 equipment from the first two and a half weeks of gameplay. However, the new difficulty level is quite tough on the players.

Trouble with teammates
How is it going for the players? Generally, players are happy about the new unlocks. The challenging master mode of the dungeons is a welcome change. However, one thing bothers the players: their teammates.
In a post on Reddit, players explain how annoying it is to play the new mode with a randomly assembled group. While there is a minimum equipment requirement for teammates, this does not replace skill. Players write on Reddit:
- NaoXehn: “I played the new dungeons continuously and must say, this is probably the worst dungeon experience of my entire gaming career, although I have spent thousands of hours in MMORPGs like World of Warcraft. The dungeons themselves are fun; the problem is the players. […]”
- Ok-Acanthocephala442: “That’s right, five dungeons went smoothly with guild members. After that, I joined random groups three times, but I couldn’t finish a single one because no one listens when I explain what we should do.”
- Exotic-Blacksmith-84: “You must not forget the random players who refuse to use revival items and stay dead the whole time or immediately die again after I revive them.”
What solution is there? In Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, there is no scaling of dungeons or bosses. Accordingly, the game modes become easier as better equipment is collected. While this doesn’t help when players don’t play mechanics that lead to a wipe, at some point the dungeons will be completed quickly.
In the post, many players also advise simply completing the new dungeons with guild members. This makes communication easier, and ideally, you might even make new friendships.
The Master Dungeons will later have additional difficulty levels. If it is currently too easy for anyone, they will be challenged further in the future.

After 150 hours in Battlefield 6 I predict: These 7 weapons will be particularly strong in the new Battle Royale
Today marks the start of the Battle Royale for Battlefield 6. MeinMMO editor Dariusz Müller has taken another look at all the weapons in the shooter and is considering which could be particularly strong in the new mode. Here are his top 7.
How is this selection composed? Each of us knows the competition between Battlefield and Call of Duty. Without having played the battle royale mode yet, I assume it will strongly resemble aspects of Call of Duty: Warzone – after all, there remains a competitive situation between the two franchises.
In Warzone, you typically have two primary weapons. Players have relied on the same combinations for years:
- Two fully automatic primary weapons with different strengths, one for short and one for medium to long distances
- For example, 1x assault rifle + 1x SMG
- A sniper rifle with a primary weapon that can win gunfights at 40 to 50 meters distance
- For example, 1x sniper rifle + 1x assault rifle
So in this selection, you first find the weapons for short distance, then the weapons for medium to long distance, followed by those that are particularly suitable for sniper support. Finally, the recommended sniper rifle.

The potential meta weapons for short distance
These two weapons are particularly good in combination with a fully automatic rifle for greater distances. However, since the SMGs in Battlefield 6 are generally very strong and versatile, they can also be combined with a sniper rifle.
SCW-10
What makes the SCW-10 so strong? The SCW-10 has an extremely strong time-to-kill and a low recoil. The only SMG that can match the TTK of the SCW-10 is the KV9. However, due to the higher rate of fire, the KV9 has the more difficult ammunition management. With the SCW-10, you won’t be out of ammo as often in front of enemies – even though it also standardly has low shots.
Thanks to its high damage, the SCW-10 has no noticeably lower time-to-kill than the KV9 despite the lower rate of fire, which is why it is currently the strongest SMG.
SGX
What makes the SGX so strong? If you were expecting the KV9 here, I must disappoint you. The lower magazine combined with the high rate of fire and average damage could become a problem in battle royale mode if there’s really some kind of shield or armor.
The SGX can have up to 40 rounds in the magazine, is also very easy to control, and has the third-best time-to-kill at relatively high rate of fire at short distances due to average damage. Plus, you don’t have to unlock it in a complicated way.
The potential meta weapons for medium to long distance
The weapons in this category excel at medium to long distances and can be well combined with SMGs or sniper rifles to compensate for each other’s weaknesses.
SG 553R
What makes the SG so strong? The SG 553R is another all-rounder among the carbines. The mediocre rate of fire and high damage provide the highest damage-per-second value of all carbines – slightly better than the M4A1. Nevertheless, the recoil is not too high to cause difficulties at greater distances.
At the distances where you have problems with the SG, switching to a sniper rifle could be sensible.
AK-205
What makes the AK-205 so strong? The carbine has almost no recoil and is extremely easy to control. This makes it not only beginner-friendly but also extremely dangerous at longer distances – especially with ammunition that increases the headshot multiplier. The better ammunition offsets the standardly lower time-to-kill.
What weaknesses does the AK have? Due to the low time-to-kill, you are dependent on headshots and the improved headshot multiplier. This can quickly become a problem at short distances when your opponents fully exploit the shooter’s movement. The SCW-10 SMG can provide relief here.
RPKM
What makes the RPK so strong? The RPK deals a lot of damage and can eliminate enemies by headshot in Battlefield 6 with only two hits using synthetic ammunition. While it is expected that in battle royale there will be some kind of armor or shield like traditional armor plates, even then the RPK can eliminate enemies at long distances with relatively few shots due to its relatively low recoil.
The RPK could pair well with fast-firing SMGs or sniper rifles.
KORD 6P67
What makes the Kord so strong? The KORD has a high rate of fire with relatively low recoil. This makes it a solid choice even at medium to long distances.
The biggest competitors of the KORD are likely the M4A1 and M433. However, both have a stronger recoil, which you will especially feel from 50 meters. Since weapons that are played as support to a sniper rifle often need to perform at distances of 40–60 meters, the KORD has a slight edge over the M4 variants. The lower damage is offset by the fact that you can more easily hit the critical bullet.
The potential meta sniper rifle
Which sniper rifle should you play? The PSR. It is the third sniper rifle that you need to unlock through challenges.
How the sniper rifle choice was made: The significant difference among sniper rifles, aside from the rate of fire, is primarily the so-called Sweet Spot: Each sniper rifle has a different “perfect range” at which it can kill with a single hit to the torso in Battlefield 6. While we do not yet know how important the Sweet Spot will be in battle royale and whether it is possible to take down enemies with one shot from the sniper rifle, the Sweet Spot still played the biggest role in the evaluation.
What makes the PSR so strong? The Sweet Spot on the PSR is significantly further away than on the other sniper rifles. It is at about 100 to 150 meters. Thus, the PSR offers the maximum distance at which you can inflict maximum damage.
The Sweet Spot of the M2010ESR is about 80–120 meters. That is relatively close and a disadvantage for the M2010ESR. At 80 meters, it is comparatively easy to hit an opponent’s head. You are not necessarily dependent on fatal body hits there and could therefore use the PSR without having a disadvantage.
If you do happen to hit just the body, you could switch to the RPK to finish off your opponent quickly. However, with the ESR, you cannot switch to another weapon to take the last hit on your opponent from over 120 meters – that is usually just too far for precise fire from fully automatic weapons.
Why are certain weapons not included? You should find a selection of weapons here that, in my initial assessment, could be particularly strong. Consequently, the list is relatively limited and does not include 20 different weapons. Of course, there are other strong options that could also become meta in battle royale.
Other candidates for being a meta weapon are, of course, the M4A1 or the assault rifle L85A3. The KTS100 MK8 or SL-9 are other weapons that have virtually no recoil and are also worth considering. Personally, I also enjoy playing the QBZ-192 carbine. Which weapons ultimately prevail remains to be seen.

If you are really diligent in Pokémon GO now, you will level up much easier later
Recently, the leveling system in Pokémon GO has been revamped. An ongoing event can help you fulfill a new requirement more easily.
The second part of the Halloween event 2025 is currently ongoing in Pokémon GO. It started on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM and runs until Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 8:00 PM. In addition to the Cup Pokémon Fatalitee, there are also several costumed and regular monsters in the event.
Two of the monsters in the event can help you if you want to meet the requirements for levels 71 to 80. In addition to experience points, you will need to fulfill other tasks as well.
2 Monsters, 2 Medals
What kind of monsters are they? In the event, there is also Pikachu in a costumed variant and the pumpkin Pokémon Irrbis, which has a unique feature. The monster comes in 4 different sizes. You can easily tell what size an Irrbis is in the game before you click on it.
How can the monsters help? An important new feature in levels 71 to 80 are the Platinum medals. You need a certain number of Platinum medals for each level to advance to the next level. For the new maximum level 80, you even need 50 Platinum medals.
Among these, there are 2 medals where you can make progress more easily during the current event. For the medal “Collector of Giant Pokémon”, you need to catch a total of 500 XXL Pokémon to reach Platinum. So, catch the large Irrbis variants in the event.
As Trainer Time-Relative-5360 reported on Reddit, you can also trade an XXL Irrbis with a friend to gain another progress point in the medal. By trading, you can also trigger the evolution without candy cost and thus gain another point in the medal. Overall, you can achieve 3 progress points per XXL Irrbis with your friend.
The 2nd medal for which you can make progress in the event is “Pikachu Fan”. Here, you need to catch a total of 1,000 Pikachu to obtain Platinum. Since within the event Pikachu is one of the monsters that appears more frequently in the wild, you should catch all specimens you find.
If you use the event to achieve significant progress in the medals, it can save you time later if you have not yet collected enough Platinum medals.

Nike wants you to run faster without exerting yourself – Brings futuristic shoes that help you run
Nike is developing a motorized shoe that is supposed to assist you while walking and jogging. Commuters and non-professionals are the target audience for the project.
What exactly is behind Nike’s new shoes? With Project Amplify, Nike has officially introduced its first motorized running shoe. According to its own statement, it is the world’s first “powered footwear system” for walking and jogging. The idea behind it: People should be able to move faster, further, and with less effort – similar to an e-bike for the feet (via The Verge).
The system is based on a combination of robust mechanics and intelligent control. It consists of:
- a motorized unit with drive belt
- a lightweight, rechargeable battery
- a carbon fiber plate in the shoe itself
- and a flexible cuff that wraps around the lower calf
Together with the robotics company Dephy Inc., Nike developed a prototype specifically tailored for people who walk at a pace between 10 and 12 minutes per mile (approximately 6.2 minutes per kilometer, or about 9 km/h) – not necessarily serious athletes, but rather everyday joggers or commuters. According to Nike, the system is designed to operate so seamlessly that it feels “like a second pair of calves” (via Nike).
According to a recent press report, over 400 athletes have taken more than 2.4 million steps with over nine hardware iterations during the testing phase. However, the product is still in the early stages of development. A market launch is only planned “in the coming years” (via Nike).
Not a real innovation
Why the idea is not new – and what the Moonwalkers do differently? As futuristic and “cyberpunk” as Nike’s concept looks, it is not the first idea of motorized shoes that aim to make everyday life easier and faster.
The American startup Shift Robotics already presented the so-called Moonwalkers in 2022: a type of “shoe attachment with motor drive” that was supposed to significantly increase walking comfort.
Unlike Nike’s solution, the Moonwalkers were not a shoe system with a supportive motor, but rather motorized rolling platforms that were strapped onto normal shoes. They featured:
- small electric wheels underfoot
- AI-based control of step length and speed
- 3x faster walking speed
The concept was funded via Kickstarter and also targeted commuters and everyday users – with a top speed of around 11 km/h (via Galileo).
In comparison to the Moonwalkers, it becomes clear that Nike is taking a more integrated approach. Instead of an eye-catching motorized rolling system, Project Amplify offers a seamless extension of a classic running shoe.
A major sticking point remains the price: The Moonwalkers cost a whopping $1,400, or about €1,320. And it remains unclear where Nike’s price will settle in the future (if the prototype actually goes into production) – it is unlikely to be cheap.

A terrible villain from Game of Thrones returns in the new series, but suddenly he is a cute baby
The universe of Game of Thrones will soon be enriched by a series that will feature a despised character from the original. The showrunner already has a wicked idea for it.
Attention Spoiler: In the article, we reveal details about the character Walder Frey and the upcoming series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. If you don’t want to know anything about it, you should stop reading here.
Which character is it about? If you have seen Game of Thrones or read the underlying books, you probably remember Walder Frey. The character first appears in Season 1 and soon makes a name for himself as a pretty nasty guy.
One of the highlights that no reader or viewer will ever forget is the “Red Wedding,” where many characters lose their lives, including some main characters. The massacre takes place at the court of Walder Frey and under his command and is even based on historical events.
So it’s not surprising that the character is equally hated and feared. In the upcoming series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Walder Frey will appear again – but not as the ruthless lord we have known him so far.
From Murderer to Innocent Baby
What does the appearance look like? The spin-off to the main series is set to premiere in 2026 and will consist of three seasons, each based on stories by George R.R. Martin. It tells the story of knight Ser Duncan and his squire “Egg”. You can find all the information collected on MeinMMO.
The plot takes place about 90 years before the events of Game of Thrones. Accordingly, Walder Frey here is not a ruling lord, but much younger. More specifically, he is likely just a baby, because in Game of Thrones the character is initially 90 years old.
The showrunner of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Ira Parker, has already thought about how Walder Frey could appear in the new series. In conversation with Polygon, he shared his thoughts:
My favorite idea is, and this appears only in the third book, that there is a little Walder Frey. I have this hopefully really funny idea, for which people will probably kill me. But this idea that something happens, like a horse cart goes out of control and this baby is about to be killed, and Duncan intervenes and saves little Walder Frey.
Ira Parker
The idea has its charm, considering the terrible acts the character commits as an adult. After all, it’s hard to be angry with a baby, especially when it looks really cute. Nevertheless, this raises the question of how the further course of the story would have looked if the baby had died that day.
One thing is certain: many other characters would have survived, and the “Red Wedding” would not have existed in this form. Duncan’s act was therefore well-intentioned but ultimately caused great suffering in Westeros.
By the way, the idea of incorporating Walder Frey into the story is even based on the literary source. It features a four-year-old boy, whom George R.R. Martin confirmed in a post on livejournal.com is Frey. However, this is just a small guest appearance on the side.
How large the role of the character will be in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms cannot be estimated at this time. However, it will appear, and it will also be exciting to see which other characters from Game of Thrones will make their return – provided they were alive 90 years earlier. The series adaptation made the “Red Wedding” even more dramatic: A character from Game of Thrones made a grave mistake – the consequences were even worse in the series than in the book

Hardware company provides such poor tech support that they apologize and completely discontinue a product
A hardware manufacturer has caused a stir with a questionable support recommendation: users should modify their 16-pin connector on their own. After severe criticism, the company is now taking action, apologizing, and halting the production of the faulty model.
What was the problem? A customer had contacted the hardware manufacturer Cooler Master because the connector of their power supply did not properly click into their graphics card with a recessed connector.
Instead of offering a suitable replacement, the support employee advised the customer to remove the two clips on the housing of the connector and break it. This was supposed to convert the right-angle connector into a straight one, essentially a DIY repair on a power cable.
Cooler Master announces new safety standards and replacement cables
Why is the support’s response so problematic? Recommending users modify the connector by breaking it is not only unprofessional but can also be quite dangerous. It does not solve the problem and creates new risks.
In the worst case, this advice could have led to overheating, short circuits, or permanent hardware damage. The risk of fire is also a significant concern, especially with a safety-critical component like a power connector.
How has the company responded? Cooler Master has officially addressed massive accusations from the community. According to a report from Tom’s Hardware, the company stated that all support staff have been instructed to no longer recommend modifications to such connectors.
Furthermore, they plan to discontinue the production of the already delivered right-angle 12V-2×6 connector (often also called 16-pin). The statement, which was published in response to a report by Igor’s Lab, also announces that Cooler Master will implement internal quality assurance measures and new safety standards.
The manufacturer admitted that the right-angle connector was “very problematic,” especially with graphics cards with a recessed 12V-2×6 connector. However, the company emphasizes that they are not aware of any specific damage case directly related to such a modification.
What changes is Cooler Master making? According to the statement sent to Igor’s Lab, the company intends to make the following changes:
- All upcoming power supplies will be delivered with a straight 12V-2×6 connector.
- Existing users with the problematic right-angle connector can receive a replacement cable with a straight connector if needed.
- Additionally, a two-color indication / color coding will be introduced on the connector (e.g., purple-coated contact tips) so that users can recognize whether the connector is inserted correctly.
For PC enthusiasts, this incident is a warning signal: those who have installed power supplies with the questionable connector cable should check whether the connector is seated correctly or if a replacement is available. The incident also highlights how essential precise mechanical compatibility between power supply and graphics card has become in modern high-performance models.
How critical the issue of power supply is for modern graphics cards is highlighted by a recent case: even small design flaws or incompatible connectors can have severe consequences. An expensive GPU has melted twice, and the community suspects an age-old problem behind it.

Survey on Pokémon GO shows: You are really generous when it comes to gyms
We wanted to know in a survey how you handle gyms in Pokémon GO. Here are the results!
That was the survey: Recently, there was a discussion in the Reddit community about Pokémon GO whether to wait until the current defenders have held the gym for 8 hours before taking it over.
Only then would they receive the daily maximum of coins. If you kick them out before, they only get a fraction of what you can earn in coins during the day.
This is an “unwritten law” that some Pokémon GO communities partially follow and take seriously.
On the other hand, there are of course players who either do not know such a rule or simply ignore it. But after all, the game is also partly about conquering gyms for your team.
We wanted to know from you: How do you treat the subject? And the result was surprisingly clear.
Over 50% of participants wait 8 hours
This is how you voted: In the article about the unwritten law in Pokémon GO, we called for a survey among our readership. We wanted to know if you are aware of, follow, or ignore the rule.
As of now, a total of 2,032 of you have cast a vote! It’s time to look at the results:
- 51% and thus 1,041 votes were for “I adhere to the ‘unwritten law’ and wait 8 hours.”
- 22% voted for “I’ve never heard of it and just take over gyms.”
- 16% said: “I take the gym even though I know the ‘unwritten law.’”
- And 11% said: “I’ve never heard of it, but I will try it.”
It’s an exciting result, considering that in the world of Pokémon, it’s always about becoming “the very best.” But apparently, that works very well too when everyone makes sure to get their coins. That would surely please Team Harmony as well.
In Pokémon GO, it’s of course not all about who takes a gym when and how. The majority of the game is about catching various Pokémon. And they usually come into the game during new events. All divine gods from The Elder Scrolls in the Power Ranking – Who is the most powerful?
The Elder Scrolls provides plenty of material for lore fans. Especially regarding the creation of the game world, as it would not have been possible without the sacred gods. Often, people pray to these figures and hear legends about their forms, but only a few know how powerful they are.
How is the ranking structured? In the world of The Elder Scrolls, there are two types of gods – the Aedra (sacred gods) and the Daedra (selfish gods). In our list, we refer to the 9 existing sacred gods who contributed to the creation of Mundus (the game world and the universe of mortals) and sacrificed themselves.
Only eight sacred gods are actually documented, but we also count Talos as the ninth, as he has a strong presence in Skyrim and is indispensable. The criteria of our ranking mainly focus on the functions and powers the gods possess. We compare these and evaluate them against each other.

Rank 9: Dibella – The Goddess of Beauty
Dibella represents beauty and art and is usually worshiped when it comes to sexual interactions between mortal beings. Rank 8: Zenithar – The God of Work
Zenithar is known for work, economy, and craftsmanship in Nirn. His values create order in society regarding the structures of everyday life. For the many peoples in The Elder Scrolls, he is certainly indispensable, but his power has more logical aspects that steer life towards harmonious paths. Without work and economy, there would of course be no functioning civilizations.
Rank 7: Mara – The Goddess of Love
Those who wish to marry and procreate cannot bypass Mara. She is the mother of love and responsible for the growth of Nirn. If you now wonder why Dibella is not the same as Mara, you overlook a fine difference: Dibella represents more the fun and pleasure in the sexual lives of the peoples. Mara, on the other hand, is actively there to help civilizations grow through love, fidelity, and procreation.
Rank 6: Arkay – The God of Life and Death
Life and death are essential in the mortal world, as they provide balance within civilizations. Arkay is the god who oversees this change and ensures that beings who are dead remain dead. He also manages the souls of the deceased peoples. One might think of him as the master of undertakers. Since he merely oversees this natural process and does not actually initiate it, he takes rank 6 in our ranking.
Rank 5: Julianos – The God of Knowledge
Those who are curious will sooner or later turn to Julianos. The god of knowledge, laws, and magic is a beacon for flourishing civilizations because without knowledge there can be no progress. For many mortals, he is therefore hardly dispensable, as he is also associated with fields such as alchemy, sorcery, and enchanting.
Rank 4: Stendarr – The God of Justice
Surely you have already come across the guardians of Stendarr. These paladins and their god fight for justice, as they ensure that Daedra are kept in check and all things occult are eliminated – for the benefit of mortals, of course. Even though he is not such a powerful figure, Stendarr ensures justice and order, and thus balance in the respective civilizations.
Rank 3: Kynareth – The Goddess of the Elements
Kynareth could be seen as Mother Nature, as she is the goddess of air, sky, wind, and elements. Her power ensures that life in Nirn is even possible. This fact alone makes her one of the most powerful goddesses in The Elder Scrolls.
Rank 2: Talos – The God of War and the People
Talos is a contentious topic in the world of The Elder Scrolls. He was not significantly involved in the creation of Mundus, as he only emerged in the Third Era. It all started with Hjalti Earlybeard, a mortal general of the Second Era.
The Greybeards called him to High Hrothgar to crown him as Dragonborn and to teach him the way of the Voice. Later, he fought further battles as a general, even in Cyrodiil. He also helped his king, Cuhlecain, to the imperial throne. However, the success was only short-lived: Cuhlecain died in an assassination and Hjalti Earlybeard had his throat slit – but he survived.
As Tiber Septim, he took the throne and aimed to unite Tamriel. With the help of the Numidium (a giant Dwemer robot), Tiber Septim managed to unite Tamriel and crowned himself emperor of Tamriel.
After his death, he was glorified by the Nords for his successes as Talos. Only in the Fourth Era did other peoples begin to see him as a god, except for the Thalmor (a group of High Elves). Even though he is not part of the Aedra, his achievements and efforts in Tamriel have ensured that he could achieve godhood.
It is also rumored that Tiber Septim was one of the three Shezarrine (mortal reincarnations or aspects of Lorkhan). Lorkhan was the one who initiated the idea of Mundus. However, before Tamriel was united, the Aedra Auriel and Trinimac defeated him. One might say that Talos is a reincarnation of Lorkhan so that he also finds a place in the circle of sacred gods.
Rank 1: Akatosh – The Dragon God of Time
Akatosh, also known as the Dragon God of Time, is the most powerful of the nine gods. He is the protector of Mundus, and without his powers, the Daedra would have an easy time invading this world and causing chaos and destruction.
Before Akatosh existed, the universe was in a chaotic, timeless state of the Dawn Era. Through him, Mundus could maintain a linear timeline for life to develop. Thus, he represents the anchor of the world that keeps everything running.
Accordingly, he uses his power to keep the dangers of the Daedra at bay and is not averse to intervening in order to ensure the safety of the many peoples in Tamriel. In Oblivion, he took the form of a dragon, defeated Mehrunes Dagon, and sealed the Daedric Prince’s barrier forever.
No existing god (except Talos) has had such a powerful influence in Tamriel as Akatosh, which is why he belongs in first place with his power.
Of course, there are other gods in Tamriel, but they do not belong to the sacred circle of those worshiped by mortals.

Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity – All Important Information about Release, Start & Content
The developers of ArenaNet and publisher NCSoft have announced the new expansion “Visions of Eternity” for Guild Wars 2 MyMMO has all the info ready for you on what is known so far about the release, content and more.
What is Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity? On July 15, 2025, the latest expansion was unveiled. The new expansion of Guild Wars 2 is called “Visions of Eternity” and will be released in fall 2025. You can expect new elite specializations for all classes, new abilities for the Skimmer, fresh content, and new areas that call for adventures full of seafaring and wild magic.
When will Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity be released? The new expansion will come on October 28, 2025.
At what time does the expansion start? You can dive into the new adventure on the coasts of Castora starting at 5 PM CET (9 AM PDT).
How much will Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity cost and what versions are available? The expansion is expected to cost €24.99 for the standard version. In addition to the standard version, there will also be a Deluxe Edition (around €50) and an Ultimate Edition (around €75) that offer exclusive items. World of Warcraft will be released on the next Xbox – WoW finally on console
After endless rumors, it is now true: World of Warcraft is coming to console. But not in the way you think.
For many years it was a rumor and speculation. Basically, since 2014, there have been suspicions that World of Warcraft would eventually come to console. Now, Windows Central has confirmed it. Because WoW will appear on Xbox – but not quite as you might think.
What has been revealed? In an article from Windows Central, details about the next Xbox console generation were revealed. It was also explained that some games will be playable on it that, at first glance, do not seem to fit. Among them: World of Warcraft.
WoW on Xbox – Just like all other PC games
What’s the catch? Those who think that World of Warcraft is coming to console and that the many signs have been validated are only partly correct. Because there isn’t really a dedicated console version of WoW.
Instead, the next Xbox generation will simply have full Windows integration, making it extremely close to a PC. Anyone who wants can open different platforms and launchers on the Xbox – such as Steam or Battle.net. Thus, the next Xbox is basically a PC and all PC games will be available to the console.
When will it happen? When the next generation of the Xbox console will be released is currently still uncertain. Therefore, there is also no set date for when WoW will come to console.
This will at least fulfill part of the hopes of many gamers, allowing them to experience Azeroth – at least in some way – on a console. Whether a “real” version for PlayStation or even a Nintendo console will follow remains to be seen.

If Astarion in Baldur’s Gate 3 was just too attractive for you, you will soon hear him as a space locust on Steam
Starfinder, an upcoming role-playing game for Steam, not only learns from Baldur’s Gate 3 but can now also boast one of its stars.
Uh, what? Neil Newbon, the voice of Astarion from Baldur’s Gate 3, takes on the role of the companion Preach in the upcoming role-playing game Starfinder: Afterlight. The cRPG is based on the sci-fi offshoot of Pathfinder, one of the biggest competitors to Dungeons & Dragons.
Preach is a Shirren, grasshopper-like creatures. However, he scores not only with his appearance and Neil Newbon’s voice but also with the charm of a single father: Preach is dedicated to protecting the “Golden Child,” a cute larva-like creature.
What kind of game is this? Starfinder: Afterlight will be a role-playing game from the Spanish indie studio Epictellers. The developers have previously announced that they will learn from Baldur’s Gate 3 and place a strong emphasis on companions.
Player decisions should have noticeable consequences: If you are mean, the companion Kole loses his good mood; if you go too far, the Companions will even leave you completely.
To make companions truly shine, they enlisted high-profile support from experienced voice actors, whom you may have heard in games like Overwatch, Borderlands 4, and Dying Light: The Beast.
Before Newbon was announced as a cast member, he had already been involved as a voice director, proving indispensable to the developers in this role. In a short teaser on YouTube, you can get your first impression of his performance:
You can support Starfinder: Afterlight on Kickstarter until November 6, 2025. Although the original goal of 75,000 euros has been exceeded by more than 500,000 €, there remains one last stretch goal: If 600,000 euros are reached, the role-playing game will be fully voiced, right down to the last NPC.
However, it will still take a little while before you can experience the fantastic voice acting: An early access is planned for next year, with the release set for 2027.

Pilots from Battlefield 6 demand more love for aircraft from EA, but the infantry completely disagree
In Battlefield 6, the pilots are currently dissatisfied. Their favorite vehicles are having issues and are being neglected.
Why are pilots asking for more love for aircraft? Jets and helicopters are currently in a difficult state in Battlefield 6. There are many strong ways to shoot the aircraft out of the sky. Some of them ignore all countermeasures, some destroy jets and helis with just one hit, and others strike without warning. Now, the pilots are demanding changes.
The content creator SilkOCE, who is regarded as one of the top 10 pilots in Battlefield, and has already achieved over 9,000 kills using only aircraft, posted a whole list of problems on X on October 24, which he believes need to be addressed.
The creator’s post received around 1,200 likes and was then shared on Reddit, where it also gathered over 2,700 upvotes and almost 1,500 comments.
Many problems, but no solution in sight
In the patch notes for the upcoming update on October 28, 2025, the various issues with aircraft are not addressed, while infantry players can look forward to news on topics such as the random spread of firearms (cf. X). Players like Silk are therefore asking for more love for their favorite toys.
What are the problems that need to be fixed? Silk lists several issues with aircraft gameplay that should be tackled by the developers:
- The rockets of the stealth jet ignore countermeasures (flares).
- Every laser-guided rocket ignores countermeasures (flares).
- The warning system of the aircraft does not indicate when rockets from the stealth jet are fired at targets.
- Radar is not functioning.
- Refilling ammunition reserves is tied to a cooldown that is shared with the entire team.
- The TTK (Time-to-Kill) of all aircraft is too fast.
- TOW rockets are too easy to handle / too effective.
- The operation of the guided missiles of the Bradleys is too easy.
- RPG-7v2 has too high speed.
- SRAW is too weak.
- No jet loadouts.
- The helicopter control assistance is faulty.
- The automatic air defense of the base is too weak.
- Jet bombs are too easily shot down by AA, even accidentally.
- The attack helicopter has lost its laser-guided rocket.
However, the biggest problem right now seems to be the effectiveness of rockets targeting laser-marked targets. When a spotter has marked a helicopter or jet with a laser, it is guaranteed to be hit by the rockets. The rockets ignore countermeasures, and in the case of the guided missiles from the Bradleys, just one hit is enough to destroy any aircraft.
Infantry players do not want even stronger aircraft
This is what infantry players say: Even though some infantry players acknowledge that aircraft are having a hard time, especially because of the effectiveness of laser-guided rockets, others do not think that aircraft should be improved.
On X, a user asks how aircraft can be in bad condition when players like Silk regularly achieve rounds with over 100 kills. On Reddit, a user adds that he hated nothing more in Battlefield V than dying by bombs from an aircraft without having a chance to do anything about it.

7 vs. Wild sends the candidates through the jungle with a compass – fan reveals now why this doesn’t work
In 7 vs. Wild, the contestants are out in the jungle in the current season. However, they have recently had trouble finding their way. A fan explains why this is.
Warning: This article contains spoilers for 7 vs. Wild Season 5 Episode 1–6.
What problems are the participants facing? The participants of 7 vs. Wild have recently been tasked with leaving their camp and moving on. They were given a compass heading of 264 degrees for this.
Although the participants adhered to the direction, they strayed very far off course. Because they were unable to find their destination, they decided to set up an emergency camp to continue their search the next day.
A fan has now analyzed why the participants have strayed so far off course and believes that the organization overlooked one thing.

Compass, magnets, and physics
What does the fan believe? On Reddit, fan big0ale presents his theory. He is well-versed in using a compass and knows what to look for. While watching the series, it immediately came to his mind why the participants likely strayed from the path.
He elaborates in his post that magnetic north deviates from true north. He believes that the organization simply provided the contestants with the heading of 264 degrees without considering the magnetic declination.
Due to the declination, the contestants would automatically go 10 degrees off course, which is clearly visible in the series. Additionally, he suggests that the compass used by the contestants likely does not allow for declination correction and is not designed for the southern hemisphere.
What does this mean? For the fan, it is clear: The organization of 7 vs. Wild made a beginner’s mistake. While they specified 264 degrees, they should have actually indicated 274 degrees to guide the contestants correctly at that point. This could have been achieved using a tool.
Thus, according to the fan, the participants cannot reach their goal even if they walk perfectly straight without obstacles. The problem could therefore arise repeatedly in future episodes, as no matter how well the participants perform, they will always end up in the wrong place.

Battlefield 6: Season 1 starts tomorrow – Everything about the preload, time and patch notes in the live ticker
In Battlefield 6 will soon kick off Season 1 and bring new features as well as a Battle Pass. You can learn what time to expect a preload and how the patch notes look in our live ticker.
When does Season 1 start? In a lengthy blog post, DICE outlined the start and all patch notes you can expect in Season 1 on x.com. Here’s what time you should mark in your calendar:
- October 28 at 4:00 PM German time: Season 1 with the new Battle Pass and all previously communicated changes will come into effect and can be inspected and tried out.
With a new season, new content also comes that you can earn. As with every new patch, there might also be bugs or server issues, and to ensure you don’t wonder, we will present all important information clearly.
What content does Season 1 bring? According to the official roadmap of Battlefield 6, you can expect the following things starting from October 28:
- New map: Blackwell Fields
- New mode: Strikepoint
- A tactical 4v4 mode with multiple rounds and only one life per round; teams must capture an objective.
- New vehicle: APC Traverser Mark 2
- Armored land vehicle for transporting personnel, offers 4 seats including a roof gunner.
- New weapons:
- SOR-300C (Carbine)
- Mini Fix (Sniper rifle)
- GCH-22 (Secondary weapon)
- New attachments:
- Rail Cover
- LPVO
Additionally, it may be possible that the “Battle Royale” mode will be released, but that is not officially confirmed.
Everything about preload and patch notes
Will there be a preload? Yes, there will be a preload. It will be rolled out on October 28 at 10:00 AM German time. The update will then be released simultaneously on all platforms.
What is the size of the preload? That is not yet known. We will probably learn that only when the preload starts.
Will there be downtime? No, according to the post on X, fans will be able to continue playing Battlefield 6 after downloading the update. When the clock strikes 4 PM, all changes implemented with the update will be automatically unlocked.
Are there already patch notes? Yes, there are. Unfortunately, they are currently only available in English. However, we will list the highlights of the update here in German. The updates mainly consist of improvements that veterans have been demanding for a long time:
- Movement when spawning is supposed to run more smoothly
- Dispersion of various weapons has been adjusted to match their accuracy and handling
- Visual improvements regarding visibility and lighting
- Audio overhaul addressing vehicle sounds, projectiles, and related issues
- Adjustments to the UI for better visibility
- Improvements concerning spawns

You shouldn’t miss tomorrow’s Spotlight Hour at Pokémon GO. The last date in October brings you Fatalitee.
When does the Spotlight Hour start? The Spotlight Hour starts on October 28 at 6:00 PM. It will end at 7:00 PM and the Pokémon spawns from the current Halloween event will be reactivated.
Which Pokémon is featured in the Spotlight Hour? Fatalitee will appear on Tuesday evening everywhere in the wild. It is an exciting catch that you shouldn’t miss.
Can Fatalitee be shiny? Yes, the shiny form of Fatalitee has been available since the Halloween event in Pokémon GO.
What bonus do you get? You will receive double candies for every catch you make during the Spotlight Hour. This is particularly interesting in connection with Fatalitee. We will summarize more about this for you below.
Why is Fatalitee worth it during the Spotlight Hour of Pokémon GO?
Fatalitee is a relatively rare Pokémon that can be encountered in the wild, but not very often.
The most interesting point about this creature is that it comes in two forms: the counterfeit form and the original form.
The counterfeit form is encountered much more frequently, while the original form is very difficult to find. You will only find out which variant you have after catching it by having your team leader evaluate the creature. They will then tell you which version you have. Another interesting point is that the original form requires a total of 400 candies to evolve into Mortipot. The counterfeit form only needs 50. But if you want to catch and evolve an original, you will need a lot of candies.
Thus, Tuesday is ideal for collectors: Many Fatalitee will appear during the Spotlight Hour, and you can try your luck to catch an original. And aside from that, you will gather plenty of candies to evolve it if needed.

A game like LoL has 260 million players and you probably have never heard of it
The developers of Honor of Kings are celebrating a new milestone. 260 million players played the Chinese alternative to LoL last month, but the game is unknown in the West.
What kind of game is it? Honor of Kings is in China what League of Legends is in the West: the most successful MOBA. Unlike LoL, the Chinese alternative is fully focused on mobile, targeting an audience in China for whom mobile games are more than just a pastime.
At first glance, Honor of Kings seems like a copy of League of Legends, and some characters resemble the perennial favorite from the West. However, the two games differ significantly in their scope.
While rounds in League of Legends can last up to three-quarters of an hour, a round in HoK is typically over much quicker, usually within 20 minutes. Additionally, the depth of entry into Honor of Kings is predominantly easier compared to League of Legends, so newcomers receive constant tips from the game on what to buy, upgrade, and improve first.

Great success for Honor of Kings
How successful is the game? Honor of Kings does not hide in the shadow of League of Legends; on the contrary: The developers are now celebrating 260 million active users in just one month. This puts the title in direct competition with Robolox, which is currently considered the largest game in the world.
It also seems that the game is doing excellently financially. According to gam3s.gg, Honor of Kings alone generated 143 million USD in June 2025, which corresponds to about 123 million euros.
Similar to the Worlds in LoL, Honor of Kings also has a large, active esports scene in China. Here, professionals compete annually in front of large audiences for prize money in the millions.
How is the game performing in the West? As a mobile MOBA, Honor of Kings had a good start in the West. With over 50 million downloads alone in the Google Play Store, many players have tried the MOBA. This is also due to a large marketing campaign by the developers, who wanted to establish themselves in the West.
However, Honor of Kings has not really taken on the major competitor League of Legends and its strong fanbase. Instead, the developers, as in China, focused on mobile and thus carved out their own audience.
Whether the title can establish itself in the long term, even if the publisher Tencent does not provide as much budget for marketing anymore, remains to be seen.
