With more than 10 million players, moments in Overwatch happen quite frequently where you just want to facepalm because what happened is so funny. Fortunately, there is the YouTube channel “Overwatch Highlights”, which regularly publishes a compilation of the best scenes that take place in Blizzard’s vision of the future.
The eighth episode has turned out to be particularly amusing, as it includes something from many different areas.
A McCree proves that precision and skill are not always needed to win in Overwatch. Sometimes it is enough to just sneak behind enemy lines. He pushes the payload in Dorado the entire last third of the map all by himself – almost undisturbed by the enemy team.
The saying “Karma is a bitch” is truly not new, but it is more accurate than ever. A Genji wanted to show off his great performance that he defeated a large part of the enemy team alone. Just as he is asking his own team to thank him for his heroic feat, he activates his emote – exactly at the moment when D.Va’s ultimate flies around the corner. You can guess three times who was unable to save himself from the explosion.
Also worth mentioning is the Tracer, who leads a Junkrat by the nose. Instead of fleeing in panic from his tire, she teleports directly to Junkrat without killing him. She doesn’t have to, as he takes care of that himself. Sometimes a bit of arrogance pays off after all…
