The abilities of Sombra are well-known. We reveal to you what the new Overwatch heroine can do.
After Sombra was introduced at BlizzCon, the developers went into a bit more detail about what abilities the newest heroine has. We have summarized her skill set for you:
- Her weapon is the submachine gun, which deals solid damage at close and medium range. It has a large magazine, allowing it to be fired constantly for several seconds.
- Her ability Hack is a channeled ability that disables various things when the ability is fully channeled.
– Hacked players lose access to all their abilities for a few seconds.
– Hacked health packs respawn faster and can only be picked up by teammates – the hack lasts very long here.
– Hacked turrets by Torbjörn are stunned for a few seconds.
- Sombra’s Thermoptic Camo makes her completely invisible for a few seconds – there is no “glimmer” from her. Teammates can still see her. Once she deals or receives damage, she becomes visible again.
- The Translocator can be thrown like a grenade and sticks to the first surface it touches. For 15 seconds, Sombra can reactivate the ability to teleport directly to the Translocator.
- Her ultimate ability EMP hacks all enemies in a large area around Sombra. For 6 seconds, they cannot use abilities and lose all shield energy (such as from Zenyatta, Symmetra, or Zarya). Yes, this also negates Lucio’s Sound Barrier.
- As a passive attribute, Sombra has Opportunist. She can see all enemies near her through walls as long as they have less than 50% of their health points.
