When opponents become arrogant in Overwatch, only Lúcio can save the day – as a true stealth character!
Overwatch doesn’t operate like many other team shooters in several aspects. While team play is crucial in Overwatch and coordinated teams usually prevail against a bunch of lone wolves, there are still amusing situations where individual players can turn the tide.
This was the case for the player Moosion. After his team barely managed to capture the first control point on the map “Temple of Anubis”, things took a dark turn. Really dark. The opposing team was so strong that they were simply mowing down their enemies right at their spawn area.
With 20 seconds left before a looming defeat, Moosion decided it was time to act. He switched to Lúcio and waited until his teammates once again rushed into the enemies. He took advantage of the chaos, quickly zipping across the map thanks to speed boost and wall ride. He hopped from wall to wall, covering distance in no time.
At the opponent’s control point, there was a surprise – no enemies. Not even the opposing Torbjörn had placed his turret there. The capture bar filled up little by little before the enemy team even realized what was happening.
Only the enemy Torbjörn tried to return to the control point with his molten core activated. However, he arrived exactly too late, and a well-placed push from Lúcio ensured that victory was secured. For the side that was actually at a disadvantage.
The moral of the story? Spawn camping is not acceptable!
Have you ever had a match where the arrogance of the opponents ultimately led to victory?
