Every week, absurd, exciting, or just funny moments happen in Overwatch that are often captured in a “Play of the Game.” We searched social media and picked out three special highlights for you. Enjoy our 3 “Play of the Game” moments of the week!
Our first highlight comes from the D.Va player DualCaesar. On the new map Oasis, he coldly speculated that the opponents would make a mistake (or accidentally use his ultimate). Normally, no enemy would be within range, but luckily the opposing Roadhog comes in and propels the exploding mech right into the center of the team. Let someone say that the hook nerf doesn’t work!
The second play comes from Tracer with the name ElementsFury, also on the new map Oasis. She manages to single-handedly stop almost the entire opposing team and lead them around by the nose. But see for yourself how she uses her teleportations and ultimate almost to perfection…
Our final contribution comes technically from the D.Va player ChelseaT180, although the whole action is definitely teamwork. On Dorado, the payload needs to be escorted, but the opposing team isn’t too keen on the idea. So a perfect combination of several abilities comes quickly: Zarya pulls the opponents together with her ultimate, and D.Va launches her mech. When the enemy Reinhardt raises his shield, Ana comes around the corner and sends him to bed at the last second – Bam, a dead team.
