At BlizzCon 2018, the new hero from Overwatch was officially announced. Ashe is now playable on the Overwatch PTR.
Ashe, the Western Outlaw: Ashe was introduced with the new cinematic “Old Friends” at BlizzCon. Since Monday, November 5th at around 9:20 PM, she is also playable on the PTR.
Ashe is an old acquaintance of the hero McCree and the leader of the notorious Deadlock Gang. Who exactly Ashe is and what she can do, you can find out in our article.
Ashe on the PTR – Skins and Patch Notes
New hero and UI overhaul: Along with Ashe, a new patch was released on the Overwatch PTR. This patch brought only one change to the UI with the new hero Ashe. The “Unlock All” option in the hero gallery has been disabled.
The Skins of Ashe: Ashe also receives several skins. Currently, she has four rare, two epic, and two legendary skins. Here’s what they look like:
The rare skins are as usual just different colors of Ashe’s standard appearance.
The epic skins of Ashe have a bit more detail. The logo on Bob’s back and on Ashe’s Viper change.
The legendary skins Gangster and Mafia turn Ashe into a real mafia lady in a pantsuit.
Jungle and Safari make Ashe an adventurer with a ranger hat and jungle rifle.
When will Ashe come to the Live Servers? Typically, such tests take a few weeks. In the last BlizzCon announcement of a hero, Moira, she was playable 10 days after her PTR release.
So Ashe could make it to the Live Servers in roughly 2 weeks. We suspect Tuesday, November 13th or 20th as the release date.
