We present to you the 3 coolest “Play of the Game” moments of the week from Overwatch .
Mercy – First Revive, Then Kill
Many crazy plays happen in Overwatch. The internet is full of various “Plays of the Game” and many of them are – to put it mildly – not special at all. That’s why we searched the digital realms for you and present the three plays of the week. These aren’t just about multikills, but also particularly amusing scenes that simply deserve some recognition. Enjoy!
Our first video is a clear case of “being in the right place at the right time” showcasing a Mercy in Nepal. She not only revives her entire team but also takes out Pharah’s Ultimate afterwards. Sometimes luck just plays a part!
Lúcio – Steadfast Until the Bitter End
Our second clip shows a very special kind of sportsmanship in competitive mode. Since 5 out of 6 players on the opposing team left the match early, Lúcio found himself alone against an overwhelming force. Instead of repeatedly killing Lúcio, the team decided to gift him the “Play of the Game”. While it is completely staged, it is a very nice gesture.
Allow Me, Reinhardt Wilhelm, Master of Bowling!
Anyone who thinks that a tank can’t deal damage has not experienced Reinhardt in action. The player Miso was probably a bit surprised by his performance when he, full of motivation, began his charge in the Watchpoint: Gibraltar spawn room. This might just be the earliest “Play of the Game” in Overwatch history. Perhaps Miso should try bowling next?
