In the online multiplayer shooter Overwatch, Blizzard has announced the start date for Season 3 and the end of Season 2. Also interesting: With the new season, there will also be changes to the skill rating to ensure better balance among the players.
- When does the current season in Overwatch end? Season 2 ends on November 24.
- When does the latest season in Overwatch begin? Season 3 begins on December 1.
- During this period, the rewards and Competitive Points for Season 2 will likely be awarded.
- The end of Season 3 is expected at the end of February, with a season likely lasting 2 months and 3 weeks.
What changes in Season 3? Blizzard stated in a forum post that they are particularly not satisfied with the evaluation of the skill rating. In Season 3, they are therefore focusing on the formula used to calculate the skill rating. Ideally, the changes will lead to a significant reduction in the number of uneven matches, especially at the beginning. Blizzard values fair matches more than a fresh start for everyone.
