Doomfist from Overwatch is not live yet, but there are already many Plays of the Game featuring him. And some are truly hilarious.
Every week, absurd, exciting, or simply funny moments happen in Overwatch that are often captured in a “Play of the Game.” We have searched social media and picked out three special highlights for you. Enjoy our 3 “Play of the Game” moments of the week in Overwatch!
Our first clip is a submission from our readership. The player Affected demonstrates significant skill with Widowmaker and often dominates the opposing team single-handedly. But how do you top such a playstyle? Right: You propel yourself into the air with the Grappling Hook and deliver a precise headshot to the enemy. Because that wasn’t enough for Affected, he even took down a second foe with one shot – during the same movement. Simply insane.
Our second clip also features a Widowmaker with some serious skills. The player MountainDewd was scolded by his team for picking Widowmaker, being told that he “had no idea how to play her properly.” Of course, he couldn’t let that slide and made a move that few professionals can replicate. Many heads will roll.
Our last clip isn’t exactly a “Play of the Game,” but it’s a funny scene that impressively shows how to confuse enemies with Doomfist. Bullgrit becomes the victim of just such a deception. His enemy Boltshock (also Doomfist) seems to jump into a deadly abyss – only to vanish the next moment. What had to happen happened. A few seconds later, the fight is decided and the “suicider” is the winner.
