No kill is as beautiful as one that causes a ragequit. This also applies in Overwatch. A prime example can be found in this week’s PotGs.
Every week, absurd, exciting, or simply funny moments occur in Overwatch that are often captured in a “Play of the Game”. We searched social media and picked out three special highlights for you. Enjoy our three “Play of the Game” moments of the week in Overwatch!
Since her introduction, Orisa has been a popular tank. The barrier with a short cooldown and the character’s versatile abilities make her a favorite among many players. However, only a few manage to rack up kill streaks with her. But player Drugrugho manages to do it. He shows on the map Lijiang Tower how to lure enemies into a trap. Far from the control point, he sets up his little defense line, waits for the enemies to come, and then pretends to flee. Well, how that ends… you can see here.
A complete team kill is quite satisfying. However, the feeling completely fades when you’ve outplayed an opponent so much that they ragequit the game. A ragequit achieved solely through skill (and not through flames, etc.) is still one of the best feelings, isn’t it?
It must have been the same for DjXyanyde, who found himself facing certain death. When the enemy Genji drew his Dragonblade and was also boosted by Ana’s nanoboost, he thought his life was flashing before his eyes. But as fate (or skill) would have it, his sleep arrow hit its mark. The result? One less enemy in the opposing team.
Chunky Roadhog is not exactly known for his special evasive skills. But Itslucious is not only skilled enough to dodge the enemy Tracer’s pulse bomb, he also manages to catch her with the hook. To make the clip perfect, Roadhog pulls Tracer to exactly the spot where she shouldn’t be… see for yourselves.
Have you also experienced a particularly cool gaming moment that you captured on video? Then just send us a link to the video (preferably on Youtube) and maybe you will see your clip in this post next week!
Last week we showed you a Winston in secret action – he sneaks better than any Sombra!
