There are currently numerous complaints about Overwatch . The culprit is a menu that literally burns the players’ eyes.
When it comes to complaining, gamer communities are always at the forefront – after all, they are passionate and want to see their game improved. This is also the case with Overwatch right now, as the current menu of the shooter is causing its players to suffer.
Far too bright for gaming: The issue lies with the background of the Overwatch menu. It is currently a bright white. This particularly causes problems during evening or nighttime gaming sessions in dark environments. When players return to the menu after a match, they are blinded and have to look away each time.

Criticism has existed for years: Criticism of the white background has been around for a long time, as it has been regularly used during the “Overwatch Anniversary” event. That Blizzard now uses the white background again at another time is incomprehensible to players. Their criticism seems to fall on deaf ears – or blind eyes. A corresponding post on Reddit has now received almost 17,000 upvotes, which is rare in the Overwatch subreddit.
Players demand “Night Mode”: According to players, the solution for Overwatch would be simple. They want a “Night Mode” like many other applications have. This way, gamers would not be blinded in low light and could enjoy Overwatch again properly.
