The latest patch for Overwatch is finally here. Players can now play the Busan map and benefit from several new features. We have the patch notes for the new update in German.
Last night (09/11/2018), a new update for Overwatch went live. Update 1.28 (PC) brought numerous innovations, but the biggest feature is probably the new map “Busan”. This map is associated with D.Va and can also be seen in her cinematic.
New Map Busan: This is a control point map (like Lijiang or Oasis), where the fight takes place around 3 different locations. You can get a first impression from Blizzard’s official presentation video:

We have listed the changes and innovations of the current patch here for you.
General
- Allies are now more easily identifiable through walls.
Hero Updates
General
- A bug was fixed where critical damage from weapons that fire multiple shots was calculated incorrectly (Doomfist, D.Va, Genji, Reaper, Torbjörn).

Ana
- A new setting in the options allows for more precise aiming while in the weapon’s zoom mode.
Brigitte
- The shield bash now knocks back opponents and causes Brigitte to fall over if she collides with another charging opponent (Reinhardt or Doomfist).
Reinhardt
Earthshatter
- Enemies next to walls are now reliably hit.
- No longer affects enemies who enter the ability’s area after the shockwave has already passed through.
- No longer deals damage to enemies behind barriers, even if that barrier is dropped or destroyed shortly after.
- The ability now climbs up ramps near the payload.

Widowmaker
- With the grappling hook, Widowmaker maintains her movement speed even when pulling to places where she cannot stand. She “flies” a little further in that direction.
- A new setting in the options allows for more precise aiming while in the weapon’s zoom mode.
Competitive Play Updates
General
- Grandmaster players can now play with players within a skill rating of 350 (previously 250).

- Respawn times can no longer be set longer than the default.

Free-For-All Deathmatch
- Mercy now starts rounds with her pistol selected.
- Blizzard World can now be played in Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch.
1vs1 Random Heroes

Map Updates
Rialto

In addition, there are several smaller bug fixes. For instance, Roadhog’s weapon’s alternate fire is now correctly affected by “Damage Falloff” – damage decreases at longer distances.
What do you think of the new patch? Meaningful changes and cool updates? Or is there something important missing?
The patch also included a new demon hunter skin for Sombra, which has already been leaked!
